Love needs no Language

Love transcends
The barriers of language.

I learnt
From a seven year old
Dutch angel.

If she felt
Love and happiness,
She just ran to me
With arms outstretched
And held me in a tight embrace.

I felt
Eye contact,
A gentle nudge
A warm hug,
Slipping hand
In hand.

Sign language
To comprehend.

Were a rare
Adventure.
We became friends
In seven days

Aren’t words
Quite inapt
To express
Such varied emotions,
Without
Fear of distortion
And miscommunication?

The Touch Of Your Hand

On the day that you were born
I touched your hand so chubby and warm.

I touched your hand when you were one
and helped you walk my beautiful son.

I held your hand when you were two.
We ran, your favorite thing to do.

I held your hand when you were three
as you climbed on my lap and smiled at me.

I touched your hand when you were four
as the ocean touched our toes at the shore.

I touched your hand when you were five
walking you to school but when we'd arrive

I felt the tug of your hand from mine
and I knew that we had crossed a line.

I looked at you and released your hand
and said'it's okay I understand.'

As I walked back home I cried some tears
thinking of all our hand holding years.

Holding your hand became sporadic now,
when you were feverish or I felt your brow.

I held your hand a few times as a teen
but always alone so it wouldn't be seen.

I held your hand after you said, 'I do.'
We danced together just me and you.

After some years went by my son
you held the hand of your little one.

And so the times of your life turn around
and now that my hand is old I've found

you take my hand and help me walk
and as you do we intimately talk.

And it takes me back to that bright early morn
when I held your hand so chubby and warm.

The Time Has Finally Come

Step by step,
Day by day,
For the past year,
Its been so much fun.
You've watched us grow
You've taught us so much.

The work was hard.
It looks like its paid off.
Just look we are ready to take off.

By the raise or a hand
Or the shout of a name
Within a second, you came.

I remember the very first day,
When you reached out and
Took hold of our hand
We no longer felt that first day fear.

We learned all that you taught,
Took all that you gave.
From inequalities to reading a play.
From the World Wars, to chemical equations.
One day we will put it all to use.

Through this whole year
You've been there for us
Now we are off to something new and exciting.
But we are scared that you aren't going to be there.

Next year you will be
Starting a new adventure too,

Now we graduate.
We hug and cry.

Just know that
We will miss you
And,
It hurts to say 'Goodbye.'

The language of the moment or, as it were, the language of the order in which we live, is the image. I felt that if I wanted to commune with the public, I should best do so through the language of image. It's a conscious embrace of a contradiction.

Language Of Love

I want your flesh and blood
And to feel your heart pumping hard
I want to tell my story to your eyes
I want to watch you react
To me baby
Maybe Im dreaming
I got to do something
We may be on the same planet
Living in different worlds
Do you speak the language of love
Living in the touch of your fingers
Are you the passionate type
Is this a natural thing
Do you speak the language of love
Second hand emotional trigger
In the devils playground
Hear the church bells ring
I speak the language of love
I speak the language of love
Shes my great obsession
And the girl likes me too
I think she has the wrong impression
She thinks I want to be friends
Maybe Im dreaming
I better do something
We might be on the same planet
But talk different tongues
Do you speak the language of love
Living in the touch of your fingers
Are you the passionate type
Is this a natural thing
Do you speak the language of love
Second hand emotional trigger

That Melted Ice-Cream...

I saw her eyes,
That day,
Deep,
Drowning in emotions,
Darling,
I can't forget those days,
When we walked hand in hand,
Those days,
Gloomed in overcast love,
The days,
When we completed each other,
And now,
All is gone,
Why?
Did my love felt short?
That day,
We met for the last time,
That ice-cream that we purchased,
Which melted,
Like we did in tears,
Thank You…
I will live with these memories,
You be happy…

Kissed By An Angel

Kissed an angel

Have you kissed an angel?
Have you felt the beauty of their skin?
Have you held them in your arms?
Have you?

I did

I felt the radiance of her body
The tenderness of her heart
Though I may never
Fully understand it

The strength she gave me
The love I found
To be kissed by an angel

Chains broken
Life free
Love unseen
Hate not heard

I will not be silent anymore
I will be heard
I will be understood

Neglect isn’t an option
Hate isn’t legal
Love is desired
Beauty is seen

Gods love found
The world no
Longer praised
I am sound

Kissed by an angel
Love was discovered
Hate destroyed

Chains broken
Love spoken
Words found
Beauty sounds
My lord renowned

I sing a song
Will you sing along?
Kissed by an angel

Kiss me again
The love you create
I will generate
To words of
Love

Kiss me oh
Angel
Kiss me now
For I am found

Kiss me oh angel
Oh kiss me again
For you I shall defend

Love unseen
Words well cleaned
Love unspoken
But to often
Written

I want to love you oh angel
Kiss me again.

Right & Left

Some days you are the right hand, I the left
You hold me in your palm in times of need
By giving love and gentle nudge ‘til I succeed
On other days the reverse is true
I am the right hand and I hold you
I lift you up, with a tender word or smile
Making the see-saw of this crazy life worthwhile
Right hand or left we don a perfect fitting glove
To help keep us in balance and sustain our love

In The Arms Of My Angel

I'm in the arms of my angel being lifted high in the sky.
my angel won't release me i'm being held really tight.
when i get to where i'm going i will be sat down very gently.
a gentle wave, a great big smile, my angel will softly say
goodbye.
being held in my angels arms i'm as happy as can be
knowing that i'm extremely safe when my angel has ahold
of me.

Controling Love

He took my life
Without my say
This will forever be his way
The hurt i felt beneath his grip
His constant sense of ownership
But he does not control my soul
For an angel has made me whole
My angel gave me wings to fly
My angel showed me the sky
His big strong arms
Shield me from the pain
He has no controlling shame
His words comfort me
His eyes show me love
My trust restored
My love felt true
My angel took me up
I flew......

Ramdas, Start Talking With New Language!

Ramdas, start Talking with New Language,
Talk with people and every life,
That language which can take world to new dimension,
Or world shine with beauty and freshness,
Be the one among builders of new world!

Language of love and acceptance,
language that comes from the
depth of the heart,
affectionate and humble,
language that is full of gratitude,
Free of doubts and fear, Language of smile and presence
of mind,
Mindfulness which uses silence
and words well balanced,
the world to new dimensions,
Make world Look like a new world in the light of wisdom!

Come Clean

I was cold till you touched me
Fear had no place to hide
I felt nothing but sadness
Love is the great divide
Felt like someone was counting
The tears that rush from my eyes
I was broken and doubting
Love and my own sweet pride
Come clean, come clean
You know where youve been
Slipping and stepping inside
Come clean, come clean
I know thats a dream
Love is the divide
Felt a rush from the mountain
Oh lord, I pushed you aside
I felt nothing but sadness
Ill be alone tonight
How can we lose? theres no laws to abuse
There was never more passion in crime
You took my hand, told me youd understand
Thered be time, so much time
I was cold till you touched me
Fear had no place to hide
I felt nothing but sadness
Love is the great divide

An Un Anyone?

Careful
there are Nouns here
which innocently
can
contain your life.

Were it not for 'Un'
all would be lost.

So many of our utterances
not only restrain the brain
but prevent
emphatically
new things being said.

Language is a universe
in which you cannot be understood
unless you already agree
with its assumptions and premises

of right, wrong or the good;

A universe in which you cannot conceive
anything really new
because you do not have the language
to express the idea;
a language which does not yet exist.

So the problem is
how to say something new
when you lack a vocabulary
or utterances?

I don't have a final solution
but I do have a start:
dismantle the current language first
starting with the Noun.

To see the new
we must first Unsee the old-
here my friends lies salvation-
in the utterance Un.

Un-love
Un-done
Un-believe
are an excellent start
because they get us to begin
the unraveling
of that which is wound so tight
that new meaning can't get in.

To continue:
Un isn' t simply the opposite-
it is a pronouncement
a nullification-
a cleaning out-
of that which occupies that noun space
so something new can get in.

Now let's take Un-love.

To Un-love is not to hate
for here
we simply state
we are not in the state of love.

Not so strange,
it happens to all of us.

We simply
one day
fall into Un-love
meaning love has gone away.

Doing this has caused so much misery
yet we have no word or meaning
for what Un-love means.

You see the problem
or should I say the unclarity
that Un-love brings.

If I
one day
suddenly
Un-love you
what does this mean?

Not I suppose

just that love
has gone
but where has it gone to?

In Un-love Land
there is no hate
not even perhaps
indifference
but, perhaps
to an empty space
prompting a need to find new
words, nouns or even vocabularies.

Now you see the problem;
the conundrum here-
no such words currently yet exist-
unless we pause now
to invent new words
to fill that void
and in doing so
create a whole new language
or description of what is meant
by Un-love.

Here my point exactly.
we don't know
what Un-Love means
or its vocabulary
until
some poet
creates the vision
and the new words to
that go with it.

Pointedly:
how do
I now
un-write this poem?
See what I mean?
Can't be done
unless I create
somehow
a vision
and words
to capture it.
Humm,
Consider this the Un-Write.
Maybe it will catch on.

Her Hand in Mine

She was a television star
And famed across the land.
Her beauty made me shout, 'Hoorah! ',
As most would understand.
I recognised her standing there,
Within that High Street store,
As if the answer to my prayer,
My dream girl, that's for sure...

Why she worked there, I couldn't say,
Perhaps her fortune changed...
Yet she looked happy in a way,
As she, some clothes arranged...
When I approached, confessing love,
At first, she merely smiled,
As if as gentle as a dove,
With me, her slave, beguiled...

'Please walk with me...' and she agreed.
We left there side-by-side,
Then suddenly I felt the need
That true love cannot hide...
'I want to hold your hand! ' I said,
To my new Valentine.
As if all shyness from her fled,
She raised her hand to mine.

It felt so warm, her arm did, too,
That's why I stroked her skin
And while it felt so strange to do,
She stood there with a grin...
It was as if she realised,
True love cannot conceal
Emotions if so highly prized,
So precious, new and real...

And so we walked, as if alone,
Nobody else in sight,
No longer walking on our own,
While love was at its height.
Of course, I woke, as morning came,
My dream girl to depart...
Yet I will never be the same,
Nor will my thankful heart...

Language Of Love

Some spend their time in conversation
They just talk and talk all day
But theres a sweeter situation, and
Its just a touch away
One kiss can say all that we need to say
Dont have to tell me you care
The message gets through
With the things youre doing
When were alone in the dark, you speak
To my soul, talk to my heart
In the language of love, we say everything
Every time that we touch we say so much
In the language of love, nothing says it better
Than when were talking together
Touch by touch in the language of love
In the language of love
This love dont need no explanation
We understand just fine, oh baby
Got heart to heart communication
I tell ya thats the sweetest kind
I love the way your body talks to mine
You can just look in my eyes to know that its
Real cause we go by feeling
We dont need words to express whats in our hearts we say it best

Why Fight Lonely

I feel so alone tonight
I want some arms around me to hold me tight
Whisper words that everything is going to be alright
I feel so alone tonight.

I miss the sense of feeling loved
The dreams we shared in the clouds above
Happiness soaring freely like a white dove
I miss the sense of feeling loved.

I want the happiness that I once felt
If there were tears in my eyes your heart did melt
Problems were overcome, they were always dealt
I want the happiness that I once felt.

I need someone to hold me tight
Arms to wrap around me all through the night
To show me happiness is in my sight
But I know this will never happen, so why should I even fight.

I Held Her In My Arms

Im gnawing on the knowledge
That I have been burnt
And Im learning things that i
Shouldve already learnt
Everyone I ever knew
Was so kind and coy
I was with a girl
But it felt like I was with a boy
I cant even remember
If we were lovers
Or if I just wanted to
But I held her in my arms
I held her in my arms
I held her in my arms
But it wasnt you
I will not kill
The one thing that I love
In this world of wreckage
I look above
Help me lord
Help me understand
What it means to be a boy
What it means to be a man

By The River

Words and music by bob seger
I was walkin by the river
I held my hand out to feel the rain
Just a light rain
Almost a sun shower
Makinall things shine again
And I felt like I belonged
I felt so strong
As I walked on
There was rhythm
And there was order
There was a balance
There was a flow
There was patience
Indulgence
There was a power
I could not know
And I felt it all made sense
The innocence
The permanence
I took my young son to the river
I held his hand out to feel the rain

On fairy lit night

On fairy lit night
When the snow shone so bright
And I held you so tight
I felt my love shine through you...
I felt the melting
Of every storm cloud blowing
Away under a summer breeze...
Like a broken healing shard
I felt my love shining in the moonlight
Blooming like a forest orchid
Rocking like a child in his crib
On a fairy lit night
When the snow shone so bright
And I held you so tight
I felt my love shine through you
As we rolled like a snowball
Jointly surrendering to the morning dew
Oh I felt the melting
Of two tear drops melting in mine
And your deep dark warm sparkling eyes...
I felt the gravity as we rolled
In that white midnights snow
To a poets corner only we'll both know.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh roll with me
Like an Egyptian rug under the night
Of a burning sun
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh roll with me
Like a glacier river into a red tropic sun
Where the thunder in our hearts
Has, only just begun to burn and play
Out it's magic song before our eyes.
