A Prayer For Deliverance
You sat on the bed with a faraway look,
Aimlessly turning the pages of a book.
Silent tears flowing down your cheeks.
You have become all bones these last few weeks.
You look at me as if to say,
Why is there so much delay?
From God’s side to call me away,
I am worn and grey.
And no longer want to prolong my stay.
Bedridden, I don’t know how to pass my day.
I don’t want to live in such a helpless way.
Please pray for my quick getaway.
I turn my face, wiping a tear.
I don’t want her to hear
The cry in my heart.
Time has come for us to part.
Slowly I walk away,
God please grant her wish I pray.
Let her go in her sleep,
And let me keep
Those memories of my mother alive,
When she was proud and always wore a smile.
Hardships have aged her too soon,
Now she is beaten and forlorn.
From the time of birth to death
I am told we have measured breaths.

Poem for a mother whose lost her son
I held him safe within my womb
And kissed him in the birthing room
I held his hand in sickness too
And now I don't know what to do
My son, my child, my flesh and bone
Has died and left me all alone
And in the night when no one sees
I cry and end up on my knees
I cry to God and ask Him why
My precious son he had to die
And when the morning light appears
That's one more night I've spent in tears
And as the years they slip away
I learn to live just day by day
I turn to God who was so far

When a family is leaving
You choose a side

Even if they do the worse things

I'm wandering the town all light off
I don't know where I'm leaving for
The muddy rain start to fall on me
And I'm walking down to subway
I can't see all around me
Get me out of here
Talk to me if someone is in this darkness
I'm out of my head
Out of my mind
Tell me where I'm what's going on , oh please
Something is hiding me off
Is this the wall of my heart
I have been lost so many things I've got
For long time I've been searching for my way
I carry on, carry on ...
I'm so spiting to their ugly heart
to this so stood world
Everyday I forbear to fall the tears
don't wanna be down
Everynight hurt is so deep in my heart

The wall close to me
It's so painful. Stop it !

where could I go
now to find a prophet
who could explain
a brief simple literal
exemplified extended
a metaphor definition
of precious praying relative
to 21st century greed global
selfish inhuman indifference
hear main man told me
your praying every time
when you kindness stop
to help any stranger
struck by bad luck side
of life's lonely road

grass; give a few dollars
to a forgotten down and out
person bumming a few notes
in a walk past parking lot;
when you take time to passion
listen to any poor lost soul
with a fragmented life blown

that human imperfect person
everyone else is running down;
