First Time I Missed a Heart beat...
At fourteen I was just too ill at ease,
Tall for my age, boys would constantly tease…
They would snigger, and say here comes giraffe
I wished like Alice, I could shrink, as they laughed.
At a distance I saw a handsome new comer,
Glance at those boys with kind of displeasure.
Briefly our eyes met, and I felt he said,
I am here you really need not be afraid…
To my surprise, in the chemistry lab,
I discovered we had been paired.
Clumsily we tried to study our salts
There was some commotion in my heart…
Gradually we started to walk to school,
At times go for a swim to the near by pool.
One day he showed up at my door,
And self consciously asked for a favour.
Could I help him with homework,
As alone he found it hard to focus.
As soon as we were alone our eyes met,
He wanted to say something, but was hesitant.
Awkwardly he pulled me and planted a kiss
Before I could avert my face, on my lips.
After he left, I felt a kind of liquid heat
And blood travel up to my cheeks…
I felt warm and I think I blushed
Could it be I had my first crush?
Just then my naughty younger sister came
And said you look silly smiling to yourself.

Collide
I felt my heart collapse
On the day that I met him
I felt my heart collapse
It filled up to the rim
I felt my heart collapse
When my eyes traveled 'round
I felt my heart collapse
The one I had found
I felt my heart collapse
When he first touched my skin
I felt my heart collapse
Oh it seemed a lovely sin
I felt my heart collapse
It fell without a sound
I felt my heart collapse
Oh I knew I had found
I felt my heart collapse
When we shared that first kiss
I felt my heart collapse
I thought that I would almost miss
I felt my heart collapse
I was lost in his embrace
I felt my heart collapse
I kept staring at his face
Oh my heart collapsed on that day
Ever since it's been that same way
My love for you has not faded
Ever since the day it escaped

When The Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes
(holland / dozier / holland)
He gave me the eye
But I just passed him by
I treated him unkind
But he didnt seem to mind
I told him be on his way
Not a word did he say
He just stood there kind of bored
What am I acting for?
When the lovelight starts shining through his eyes
Made me realise I should apologise
And when he placed a kiss upon my face
Then I knew, oh baby I knew
That hed won my heart
So I quickly apologised
Hopin he hadnt changed his mind
Not a word did he say
So I turned to walk away
When the lovelight starts shining through his eyes
Made me realise all he felt inside
And when he placed a kiss upon my lips
Then I knew, oh baby I knew
That hed won my heart, oh yeah
Then he asked could he walk my way
I hoped sweet things hed say
Then he smiled a-kind of nice
As he held my hand kind of tight
When the lovelight starts shining through his eyes
Made me realise all he felt inside
And when he placed a kiss upon my face
Then I knew, oh baby I knew
A-that hed won my heart, oh yeah
When the lovelight starts shining through his eyes
Made me realise all I felt inside
And when he placed a kiss upon my face
Then I knew, oh, baby, I knew
A-that hed won my heart, oh yeah
That hed won my heart

I Just Wanted to Kiss You.
I just wanted to kiss you
To show you my love
That burns like sulphur
Within my heart
I just wanted to kiss you
To show you
That I am yours forever
And you are mine
I just wanted to kiss you
To placate our long friendship
To cement our union
There and then
I just wanted to kiss you
And touch your lovely chicks
I wanted to caress you
And feel your body
I just wanted to kiss you
And feel your tongue in my mouth
And mine in yours
The warmth
I just wanted to kiss you
To feel the tenderness
Of your soft lips
Against mine
I just wanted to kiss you
Because it felt right
It felt like the time to do so
It just felt right
I just wanted to kiss you
And put my loving arms around you
And feel your heartbeat
In a warm embrace
I just wanted to kiss you
To kiss you and kiss you
Because my lips were burning with desire
I just wanted to kiss you

When You Cry I'm Happy
High school crush so true. I wish I could have told you.
I've waited too long. I finally did one night.
I asked you to dance and you laughed in my face;
Then to make it worse, on went the lights.
[chorus]
When your heart breaks I'll be there
To laugh in your face, like you did to me.
When you're moping down the stairs
I'll be there to push you. Maybe you'll land on your head.
I hope that your heart breaks every time someone looks at you.
I hope you always feel how I felt that night
When you made me lower than the dirt on your shoes.
I heard you wanted to apologize, but two words don't wipe out six years.
And I never will let you forget it
And every night I hope you cry out your eyes.
Every day I saw you, I felt nauseous. And I still do.
Every time you cry, it makes my day. I hope you're crying right now.

Our First Time
We were young kids just learning about life.
But we found we had deep rooted feelings for one another
As we met to get together for the very first time
we gave each other a pecked kiss (our first)
We pulled each other close, and our hands held each others arms.
As we looked into each others eyes, there was a passion
Beginning to rise.
Our mouths joined together and we started experimenting
Our very first French kiss.
We felt our blood boiling to a high crescendo, and then
Crashing down like the waves against the shores.
Our mouths searching hungrily for more.
The kiss lasting for a few minutes, and the passion
And excitement taking control.
Finally I pulled away from her warm, soft, sensuous lips
And we stared into each others eyes again.
She slowly took her hands from my arms and started
To unbutton my shirt while looking me in the eyes.
My heart was pounding even faster now, as she took
Off my shirt, dropping it to the ground.
I in turn did the same thing to her blouse, removing it from her body.
She then removed my t- shirt leaving me bare chested.
I took off her bra, and we pulled each other closer
Where our chests were touching, and the heat and passion
Made us become as one.
I then unbuttoned her slacks, and let them dropp to her ankles
And started to remove them slowly.
She in turn did the same to me.
We looked at each other in our under wears and pulled
Each other close again.
Feelings and emotions that we never experienced before
Started to fill every part of our beings.
The blood pulsating thru our veins felt as if it was on fire.
Our hand caressing each other, exploring ever so gently.
Our lips joined together again in a kiss of passion and delight.
It was becoming harder to control our desires, and
The need for fulfillment.
I put my thumbs on the sides of her under wear and slowly lowered them to her feet, and removed them.
She did the same to me, slowly removing mine and taking them off.
Again! We embraced as our bodies became as one, moving
In unison in a slow moving rhythm.
Our loins on fire, burning with desire.
I lowered her to the ground as I continued looking into her eyes
And then I positioned myself above her in anticipation
Of entering her body and soul.
My blood to a boiling point, and my head feeling like
It was about to burst. I felt my legs and arms trembling
As I started to lower myself down and as I *****I *****
I woke up from this dream. A DREAM!
Ha-ha -life can be bad.

I Know What Boys Like
Boys, boys
He you wanna know something?
Boys, boys
Boys like girls
I know what boys like
I know what guys want
I know what boys like
I've got what boys want
Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh
I know what boys like
I know what guys want
I seem them looking (looking)
I make them want me
I like to tease them
And they want to touch me
I never let them
I know what boys like
I know what guys want
I know what boys like
Boys like, boys like me
I got my cat moves
That so upsets them
Zippers and buttons
Fun to frustrate them
They get so angry
Like pouty children
Denied their candy
I laugh right at them
I know what boys like
I know what guys want
I know what boys like
I've got what boys want
Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh
I know what boys like
I got what boys want
I know what boys like
Boys like, boys like, boys like me
I think you're special
I might let you
You're so much different
I might let you
There's no one like you
I might let you
Or would you like that?
I might let you
Sucker!
Boys, b-b-boys
Boys, b-b-b-boys
G-g-g-g-got what boys want
G-g-g-got
I know what boys like
I know what guys want
I know what boys like
I've got what boys want
Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh

I know what boys like
Boys like, boys like, boys like me
I know what boys like
I got what boys want
I know what boys like
Boys like, boys like, boys like me
Yeah, I know what boys like
Come on girls, you know what they like
It ain't no secret
I know what boys like
I know what guys want
I know what boys like
I've got what boys want
Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh

Five Years
Pushing thru the market square, so many mothers sighing
News had just come over, we had five years left to cry in
News guy wept and told us, earth was really dying
Cried so much his face was wet, then I knew he was not lying
I heard telephones, opera house, favourite melodies
I saw boys, toys electric irons and t.v.s
My brain hurt like a warehouse, it had no room to spare
I had to cram so many things to store everything in there
And all the fat-skinny people, and all the tall-short people
And all the nobody people, and all the somebody people
I never thought Id need so many people
A girl my age went off her head, hit some tiny children
If the black hadnt a-pulled her off, I think she would have killed them
A soldier with a broken arm, fixed his stare to the wheels of a cadillac
A cop knelt and kissed the feet of a priest, and a queer threw up at the sight of that
I think I saw you in an ice-cream parlour, drinking milk shakes cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine, dont think
You knew you were in this song
And it was cold and it rained so I felt like an actor
And I thought of ma and I wanted to get back there
Your face, your race, the way that you talk
I kiss you, youre beautiful, I want you to walk
Weve got five years, stuck on my eyes
Five years, what a surprise
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Weve got five years, what a surprise
Five years, stuck on my eyes
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Weve got five years, stuck on my eyes
Five years, what a surprise
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Weve got five years, what a surprise
Weve got five years, stuck on my eyes
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Five years

First Time Of My Life
The first time I saw you,
I knew it was you.
An angel from above
That'd make a magical love.
The first time our eyes met,
My heart started to melt.
It was a strange feelin' from the start
That I'd ever felt.
The first time I felt your kiss
From your warm sensouos lips,
It was a perfect gift
More than I ever thought.
For the first time of my life,
I became selfish in love.
Every day and night,
I wanted you to be at my sight.
It was the first time of my life,
I felt so complete.
It was our magical moments,
I'd treasure till I die.

In Silence
Our eyes met,
You held my hand
And gently
Tenderly
Pushed away a strand
From my forehead.
I blushed
And felt the blood rush
To my cheeks.
I couldn’t speak,
Slowly
You
Pulled me to your chest
And we embraced.
I could feel my heartbeat race.
Your silence
Was eloquent.
I felt
The high tide
Come riding at the beach,
We were completely drenched,
Couldn’t care less.
The sand shifted
From under our feet.
As the tide receded
It left some sea shells,
We later picked.

HER EYES KNEW THE WAY (Ode to Love)
A full moon bathed her
tranquil form in silver light
This playful orb would only
dance on her this night…
Hesitant I knew desire
was the bane of zealous lovers
Yet eagerly I reached down
moved aside the satin covers
She sensed my presence
awoke then moved to rise,
A moan exhaled parted lips
as she opened sleepy eyes
With eyes blue as glacier ice
she smiled, reached for me
I held her dainty hands in mine
and kissed them tenderly
Forever came and went
we held a tight embrace
My head did spin and
heart began to race
At last we pulled apart
I looked into her eyes,
What happened next was
strange, yet no surprise
Within the depth of her eyes
I beheld her very soul
For the first time in my life
I felt complete and whole
An aura encircled me
flooding me with light
I felt a flash, then heat,
felt my soul ignite
Fire on fire as two
souls fused into one
A war against loneliness
had finally been won...

The Heat Goes On
You walk tall, got your head in the clouds
You talk soft, but youre thinking aloud
And you know, exactly what you want
You box shy, youre hard to get
You got the face that I cant forget
And I know, I know the heat goes on
I know that the heat goes on
I know that the heat goes on
You play tight, youre nobodys fool
Youre not cold, but I know that youre cool
Look at you, I know the heat goes on
Now tell me, with your hand on youre heart
That you knew, you were right from the start
And youre sure, you felt it all along
You know that the heat goes on
You know that the heat goes on
Times to decide, times that Ive lied
Problems will never be solved
Which way is wrong, which could be right?
This heat will always go on
You walk tall, got your head in the clouds
You talk soft, but youre thinking aloud
And you know, exactly what you want
You box shy, youre hard to get
You got the face that Ill never forget
You and I know, we know the heat goes on

The Dorset Chilli
My name is Billy
I wanted a chilli
Large, small or mini
Hot enough to make my eyes go drippy
I travelled the world and all the cities
And I thought, Billy, O! This is silly
Where can I acquire such a nifty chili?
Not in Chile I was told by my Milly
Right in the heart of Dorset, My dear Billy
The Dorset Naga, she said quite mildly
One taste makes tongues dance on ice
The aroma itself is much rather nice
So when in Dorset I found and ate this chilli
I started a contemporary dance with my Willie
And Milly was all giggly
When I kept repeating O! Giddy Giddy
O! Billy This is silly said my Milly
My dizzy mouth needed a drink quite fizzy
My lips felt swollen, lively and lippy
As my backside turned into factory windy
The smell made my throat chippie
The touch made my skin richly itchy
My eyes felt seductively flirty
My stomach churned feeling so sickly
I pooed out in the loo pounds of hot molten lava
Imposed upon me by the unkindly Dorset Chilli Naga
And I thought, Billy, O! This is silly
And Milly laughed looking happily chilly
As she asked, 'Would you like another? '

Mum And Dad's Silly Sayings
If you keep looking that way your face will stay,
Said my mum when I pulled a face one day;
What made her say it, how could it be?
It seemed so very silly, would it happen to me?
I have eyes in the back of my head, was it true?
So my sister searched for them, but no can do,
Where would a second pair of eyes ever be?
No, we couldn't find them, wasn't that funny?
I think of another saying she said to us three,
When we asked for her to give us some money;
Do you think, that I'm rich, or money grows on the tree?
So why would she say that, we never ever did see.
There was another one, when we asked how they met,
Was told in the cabbage patch, but was she a bug or a pet?
And then dad said to our surprise, we met in when in the cot,
But when we asked them how, it seemed to put them in a spot.
So! Why do parents go on with such talk, it doesn't make sense,
Like if we wanted take away,, let's do window shopping it's no expense;
But looking and not buying never filled us at all, we still were hungry,
And when we asked again and said I'm hungry, she'd say hello hungry.
I glad I don't go on like my mother and my dad,
The silly and ridiculous sayings, sure made me mad;
How could they say them, when they were not real,
Mum's say we are stupid, and don't care how we feel.

She Loved Me; I Loved Her Not
She was not the prettiest flower in the bouquet
but she had a perfumed heart
which shone through in a radiant smile and gentle nature;
she loved me dearly.
I, I awakened to puberty blinded by blond curls
and cheerleader bodies
and to those nasty girls
who flirted with my hormones
shaking me into the boy-way and impure thoughts;
sometimes at the wrong time
as the girls filed by us boys
we both on our
way to the gym and my embarrassment.
Where sometimes I had to skip gym and make excuses.
Audrey watched from afar;
I was not so much oblivious of how she felt
and I felt she was nice but, too nice
to be despoiled by what I wanted from girls
I wanted the fast girls because fast knows fast
and I was definitely fast in my sloppy jeans.
So like attracted like.
Like bears and honey
And like bears and honey
I didn't care if I got stung
I wanted honey.
Every boy in my school wanted the same three girls;
every girl in my school wanted the same three boys
the rest of us were bystanders, spectators and critics
to scenes we were not part of
not even able to offer solace to others like ourselves because
to be in the not-popular group was to be a social failure;
and who wants to associate with social failures-
no one that's who.
Being seen together
only drew attention to your failed status in life.
No one wants that right?
Audrey stood by watching me hunger for the popular girls
particularly Carly
who was my female succubus,
who could arouse in me
such that at times I dared not stand up.
Carly was the one who knew how to flirt
how to move my hormones with just a glance;
how to flip her hair
how to bend over to pick up that mythical pencil
how to always look available
whether she had a boyfriend or not
how to perform in lunch-room theater
scenes of a princess eating
several kinds of food stuffs from soup to hotdogs,
to ice cream cones
which drove the boys crazy
where Life would stand still for the boys and the girls
and also for some male faculty members
who too would
become frozen in time
whenever Carly, took up her comestibles.
The girls watched too angry-eager to learn how to imitate
-envious critical condemning, castigating
totally in awe of what Carly could do to boys.
She had the gift of innocent sexuality,
no better, the gift of a innocent playful sexuality
naughty but not seedy,
a young girl in a woman's body,
natural senuous movements which gave promise
of her inner woman to be.
She was of course learning of her ability
to attract boys and men
but her learning was so public
and she learned to accommodate the stares and
mini-hatreds and lusts of others
on the stage she had placed upon
which made her internal development public out of necessity.
She was used to all eyes upon her.
And even then I realized that Carly was also a symbol of how everything and anything could be given a sexual interpretation
not only by us boys, but the girls as well
and as well by the adults,
some of whom hated Carly's natural sexuality
and other adults there
who hated her
and that very same sexuality
as a sign of the devils work
or worse,
made them feel that sexuality
against their will-same as the young boys.
No one it seemed was immune
from the powerful pull of Carly's natural sexuality.
Carly lived in the middle of this maelstrom.
I found Audrey one Friday
(Carly and her popular group came to the cafeteria
only on Fridays,
hence her appearances were extra special
to all concerned
since they were not frequent.)
One day, as I was saying,
I saw Audrey outside the cafeteria
and the moment her eyes met mine
she started to cry.
Not understanding
I asked her what was the matter.
'Nothing.' she said turning away
but that was the first day I started to see her
as a real person,
not a girlfriend mind you
rather I started to see her as a comrade in suffering.
I vowed to ask her who she was in love with
assuming she shared my predicament.
And I thought we could help each other.
I thought I would call her.
Without further words Audrey walked away
humiliated but happy so happy that I had noticed her.
She vowed that she would fight for me
she would walk up to me in the school corridor
and kiss me on the cheek;
that is what she would do
to make me understand how she felt about me.
To make me see that she was the one
who loved me
that really understood me.
That is what she decided to do
That night she planned it out:
Lip gloss, short skirt, tight top,
she would be a new Audrey and get my attention
and make me forget the nasty girls.

I Want To Be The Boy To Warm Your Mother's Heart
I want to be the boy, to warm your mothers heart
Im so scared to take you away
I tried to win her over right from the start
But something always got in the way
Weve been sitting in your backyard for hours
But she wont even come out and say hi
While my mother baked a little cake for you
And even dreaded when you said goodbye
What kind of cartwheels do I have to pull?
What kind of joke should I lay on her now?
Im inclined to go finish high school
Just to make her notice that Im around
Well nothing I came up with seems to work
It feels like everything I say is lie
And never have I felt like such a jerk
Im afraid to even open my eyes
Because I really dont want her to judge me
I want her to really know who I am
And then, and only then will she love me
Well at least that was the plan
If ever a boy needed a holiday
If ever a girl needed someone to hold
I just hope I dont act the same way
By the time I get that old
What kind of cartwheels do I have to pull?
What kind of joke should I lay on her now?
Im inclined to go finish high school
Just to make her notice that Im around
I never said I was the heir to a fortune
I never claimed to have any looks
But these kind of things must be important
Because somebody ripped out my page in your telephone book
I want to warm her heart

Wished To Go Away
Meeting you that first time,
Many years ago...
I thought you had it going on.
And you thought the same of me.
At least you told me so.
And immediately I felt a bond.
I 'knew' we had 'something',
To build a relationship.
And that relationship...
Would get stronger,
Since in my heart you belonged.
We were both wrong!
Neither of us had it 'going on'.
What we had were delusions of ideals.
Thinking them to continue.
But reality soon came.
And that reality did not appeal.
The sex was good but the arguments weren't.
Each time we had one,
Feelings we had increasingly got burned.
We both felt we earned a distance.
And from that distance we learned...
Physical attractions only last for so long.
And with no other chemistry there...
What we once felt was going on,
Was wished to go away from us to be gone.

School Is Cruel
I woke up for school
Wanting to swim in my pool.
Thought I felt like a fool,
Because the air was too cool.
But I had to go to school,
Because it was the rule.
But school is so boring that it makes me drool.
I got there and forgot my writing tool.
At recessI had a Yu-Gi-Oh duel.
I won, but cheated, and felt pretty cruel.

One Life, One Love
From the moment I felt you kick.
From the times you made me sick.
From the times you kept me awake.
From the time you were pulled out of me,
I hear that sweet cry, I just wanted you near.
From the moment I held you in my arms, I knew
What life and love was.
As the tears roll down my face,
I touched your little hands, I did not want to let you go.
As you grow up your not a little baby anymore, but a little man.
So smart, so brave, so much laughter, so much energy, so much light
You bring to us all.
You are what fills my heart with so much love and joy even when your bad.
So handsome and smart you are even alittle sneak, but that's what little boys are.
You are my life, you are my one love, you are my little boy from now till the end of time.

Twilight the poem
A narrative poem about the book Twilight
Mountains of rain pouring down.
Slapping hard against the ground.
To one girl named Bella swan.
The rain and thunder were oh so wrong.
She moved from Pheonix a place with sun.
Filled with laughter and so much fun.
To a place with rain and cloud filled skies.
A horrible sight for her tear filled eyes.
In a small town was not much to see.
School was the for her place to be.
At lunch she saw a beautiful face.
Of a small girl with godlike grace.
Her name was alice she was told.
Her eyes where the coulor of fine spun gold.
At Alice's table four other sat.
Who dissapeared just like that.
But before they left Bella was shown.
A beauty that is seldom known.
At biology she say beside.
A boy with coal black eyes.
She felt a shock of pure desire.
From this boy with hair like fire.
She heared his name was Edward Cullen.
Who's family showed up all of a sudden.
His family is like gypsys in a way.
Coming and going when they may.
All the boys are big and strong.
But something seems alittle wrong.
The girls are more beautiful then anyother.
They could easily land a magazine cover.
But they dont look like they care.
They dont notice that anyones there.
Bella who never saw such beauty and grace.
Was mystified by Edwards face.
But to her surprise and dismay.
Edward didnt show up for five whole days.
She thought he was gone and would never come back.
She felt as if all the coulors had become white and black.
Like an old time movie with no blue sky.
And at this thought tears filled her eyes.
But he did come back but something was weird.
He wasnt as pale and he seemed full of cheer.
Bella saw a change in his eyes.
They seemed lighter than last time.
She asked him this but he replied no.
The conversation had ended before hello.
So many people liked Bella swan.
And they all wanted to take her to the prom.
But she said no and turned them down.
During that week she went out of town.
But stumble into a group of friends.
That herded her towards the end.
But a silver volvo rescued her.
And the group of friends became a blur.
Edward Cullen gave her something to eat.
This was unusual but such a treat.
Thats where she noticed that this boy with hair like fire.
Wasnt normal at all he was acctually a vampire.
But she wasnt scared not of him.
He wasnt dangerous and she wanted in.
So all his secrets soon were told.
And Bella found that Edward was old.
But that didnt stop her from falling in love.
He was her angel sent from above.
And soon there worlds became intertwined.
Like a fairy tale or the perfect rhyme.
But that all changed.
When the Cullens met James.
He tracked Bella down.
Right out of town.
He broke her bones smashed her head.
And Bella soon thought that she was dead.
But Edward came and rescued her.
While everything became a blur.
She heard screams felt fire in her veins.
It felt like her hand was engulfed by flames.
And she blacked out.
Along with the screams and shouts.
Only to awaken with Edward by her side.
And once again they were interwined.
And its at this point that the story ends.
Only to continue once again.
