The Completists

You lured me with your diamond flower
you lured me with talk of still more talk
you lured me with caramelizing power
you lured me a lot.
Clearly lifeless bare feet
and dogs just trained to sniff
you saw him struggle and you saw him cease his struggling
you said we're halfway come and meet us
we're the completists.

I love the laws that God sends down on us, raining,
Opening the doors of heaven, of absoluteness, raining.

the thunder outside
echoing across this land,
a voice of reason across insane minds

An Invading Fungus

Listening to Mozart, looked up - felt shocked
to see black cupboards appearing everywhere
like black mushrooms blooming - an invading
fungus taking over the open-plan office and
destroying the ambience of our previously
rather handsome Kingsley palace

Apparently our Chief Director feels a need for
filing space, thus ordered these monstrosities
to overwhelm us with mustiness & dark sliding
doors, placed upon the cupboards already used
as partitions for privacy - when I see the black
ugliness threatening like burnt fields

I wonder about the nastiness in human hearts
that can inflict such sombreness on innocent
officials already slowing dying in the little work
space allocated to them, what could have pos-
sessed anyone to make cupboards black
like that?

Raining

All good things must come to the eventuality of an end.
Again its raining,
its always seems to be raining.
The disappearance of the sun.
Where has it gone?
In the darkness hides the light.
Taking a peek behind the curtain of grey clouds.
Putting an end to another shroud.
A temporary loss is temporarily found.
With it I hear the sounds of rain drops hit the ground going splat, splat.
A constant impact.
