Within The Shadowedges Of The Light
For those Who never sang a song.
For those no letter even read from alphabet.
For those who never moved some paint on Canvas,
a world was left eclosed in them,
a world from which we could enjoy,
did they not sing a song,
a silent song within the rain,
did they not offer tea in bed
at morning rise surprise us with some oranges
as if we were just born?
They don't have the courage from behind great names
nor need them to remind us.
Forth they live in every tiny branch
and all nature's silent gestures.
In Solomon's songs, but too in silence
they surely can be heard.
In a Rilke's commemoration Choir
or behind Hafiz' silky curtains,
or out of silenced hands from refugees
after the Burn they rise from circled ashes
in tender small curly rings, 'hear them sing! '
For those who never sang they could sing well.
I've never seen their faces but in the many lively traces
and windows on the way, I recognise their poems,
and forth I move with pride for them, for let us be true
-a moment silence- for the gems of mankind we suddenly find
within the shadowedges of the light.

I Sing A Sad Song
I sing a sad song for the cold, lonely
Moments no one will admit to aloud.
I sing a sad song for all of the broken
Promises,
Wrought by circumstances beyond
Anyone's control.
I sing a sad song for the faces pressing
Against the window panes in longing.
I sing a sad song for wild anticipation
Of days that never come.
I sing a sad song for the telephone
That never rings enough.
I sing a sad song for dreams woven of
Hopeless illusions.
I sing a sad song for all of those who
Waste time, singing sad songs!

The Song of the Silent Swan
The Song of the Silent Swan
I came upon a swan and asked to hear from it a song;
It said, “I sing in silence, and in silence you will hear
A song far greater-if you will but listen to His voice
Whom you with earthly eyes can’t see, because He is so near.”
“But I am not permitted yet to sing, or I would lie:
For God made me to listen in the silence my life long,
Composing every day for Him the notes of one sweet song,
Which I will sing most beautifully the day I am to die.”

Sing Me Back Home
The warden led the prisoner down the hallway to his doom
I stood up to say goodbye like all the rest
And I heard him tell the warden just before they reached my cell
Let my guitar playin' friend fill my request
Let him sing me back home a song I used to hear. Make my old memories come alive.
Sing me away and turn back the year. Sing me home before I die.
I recall last Sunday morning when the choir from off the street
Came in to sing a few old gospel songs
And I heard him tell the singers there's a song my mother sang
Can I hear it before you travel on.
Sing me back home a song I used to hear. Make my old memories come alive.
Sing me away and turn back the year. Sing me back home before I die

Life Songs
When a child is born into this world,
what kind of song will his or her life be?
A song of joy?
A song of hope?
A beautiful rhapsody?
One of sadness, or of grief?
A song of misery?
When a newborn cries and opens its eyes,
what will its song be?
A song of greatness, a song of wealth,
or one of poverty?
When trouble comes, and surely it will,
what will that child's song be?
When we are born our song begins
and we enjoy its pleasant tune.
We sing its melody in the innocence
that leaves us all too soon.
As we grow we hear the songs of
people in various places.
Songs of pride, songs of hatred
and of conflict among the races.
The songs of children playing together
are very pleasing to hear.
Regardless of race, status or color,
their sweet songs don't cause fear.
The Master told us that with childlike qualities
we'll see God's heavenly city.
To miss such a goal because of hearts so cold
would be a tragic pity.
We hear life songs every day and
like smoke they fade away.
But lives that are sung with childlike meekness
will 'inherit the earth' someday.
To sing a song of wonder and worth
is how this life should really be-
with all the innocents throughout the earth
and with love as our constant key.
When a child is born into this world,
what kind of song will his or her life be?
A song of joy?
A song of hope?
A beautiful rhapsody?

The Song (My Culture)
I Sing it with pride!
I sing it with love!
I sing it with origin!
I Sing it genuinely!
Allong strong delight,
Which neither divided or subtracted,
reveals my true identity in multiple,
it hypnotises the soul i begot from the soil,
distinguished amongst other songs,
cannot be languished!
cannot be banished!
Culture O! Song,
I Sang It Before!
I Sing It Now!
As I will sing it then!
Allong strong delight,
a part of a human art to my site,
you run away from the lyrics,
however draws you nearer with its pleasant noise,
when the wind blows,
just like fire it glows,
cannot waste its taste with conotation,
cannot erase its denotation,
I live by the song,
guided by it for so long,
Culture O! Song!
Like hip-hop
I Sing to,
Like Drums,
I Dance to it,
Like a book,
the story read never ends,
My Culture!
My Pride!

The Poet's Song
I HID in the world and sang,
And I sang so loud and long
That all the ages rang
With the music of my song.
I sang of the earth and sky,
5
I sang of the whispering seas,
I sang of the mountains high,
And I sang of the flowers and trees;
I sang of the early spring,
I sang of the dawning day,
10
I sang, for I had to sing
As the young lambs have to play;
Till heaven and earth were ringing,
And all the people heard,
And they said, "We love his singing,
15
For his song is the song of the bird."

Melody
Melody
By: Adam M. Snow
O' Melody, names like the angel's song;
music swaying around thine love
but of thy love my days be long;
O' my Melody, sang my song.
I long to hear thy voice, thy angelic voice
soothes away my hearts desire.
But it be that of love's choice
echoing upon thy voice.
Can thee forever love a lonely man such as I,
or do thee live on knowing not that of love,
or do thee walk passed and curse myself to die?
This feeling, this love O' Melody I cannot deny.
Let me hear thy choir of thy song;
a voice so deep calming the soul.
Let thy voice and passion be strong;
O' my Melody, sang my song.
Sing; let thy voice be heard across the Earth.
Let it pierce thy shadows.
Let the world see a new found birth
and the wonders its worth.
O' Melody, a song I longed after
to cleanse my immortal soul,
to feel the joy and laughter
and be with you hereafter.
O' Melody, names like the angel's song;
music swaying around thine love
but of thy love my days be long;
O' my Melody, sang my song.
O' Melody, play thy music for I love thee.
Thy lyrics be true thy heart,
Thy song be thy key
to set all souls free.
Let me hear thy choir of thy song;
a voice so deep calming the soul.
Let thy voice and passion be strong;
O' my Melody, sang my song.

Sing A Song Of Stephen Foster's
Sing a song of Stephen Foster's a song from long ago
Sing 'Jeanie with the light brown hair' or even 'Old black Joe'
Or sing my 'Old Kentucky home' for that would please me so
Or 'old folks at home' or 'Oh Susanna' to the strains of the banjo.
I hate to hurt your feelings sir but to you I must say no
For I've never heard of this Foster and his songs I do not know
It's the first that I've heard tell of him, never heard of him before
Is he some old ballad monger dead one hundred years or more? .
So you've never heard of Stephen Foster then it only goes to show
That you are not a true folk singer when his songs you do not know
He was America's greatest song writer and his is an undying fame
And I find it hard to believe that you've not heard of his name.
So you can't sing a song of Stephen Foster's, then I'll go elsewhere for beer
For to hear one of his oft sung songs the reason I come here
The drinks are dearer here tonight just to cover your fee
And you can't even sing a Stephen Foster song for me.

IT's another SILENT SONG
Perhaps it was a silent night
when you sang that song,
for a song cannot be silent
neither can it be
silenced even by the silence
and darkness of the night
even by the deepest
depression that humanity
can plunge itself in,
the song remains to be a song
until forever...

Sing Me A Song
Sing me a song,
A song you and I know,
A song that will put me to sleep,
This song that I always listen to makes me cry,
Missing you with every inch on my heart,
Knowing that you will not return,
Sing me a song,
A song that will help me forget about you,
A song that will heal my heart,
A song of forgiveness,
Just sing a song,
A song that can not be forgotten,
A song so memorable,
Only a memory,
Sing me song,
A song that we will love,
A song we can not live with out,
Just sing me a song,
A song that only you and I know.

Sing Along
I've an emptiness inside
That can only be describe
As a sad song
With the paint all peeling off
All the world i used to know
It's a sad song
He gave my life a meaning
When all hope inside had die
The he took the meaning back
And left me feeling oh disillusioned
He just walked out of my world
Like you'd walk out of a room
Oh you sad song
Sing along with my song
If you're lost and you're alone
Sing along if your song
Has theme of love gone wrong
Sing along and belong
Don't hold back we're growing strong
Sing along sing your song
Sing your sad your sad sad song
Ain't it strange the way life goes
First you're used and then disposed
Like a sad song
Saying love was just a word
Used to keep you hanging there
Like a sad song
You swallowed all those promises
So called upon you are
And following his footsteps
No matter just how far must follow
He just walked out of a room
Oh you sad song
Sing along with my song
If you're lost and you're alone
Sing along if your song
Has theme of love gone wrong
Sing along and belong
Don't hold back we're growing strong
Sing along sing your song
Sing your sad you sad sad song...

The Song of Whales
It is silent under the sea, untill. The whales. They sing their song. Their voices rise up and down in time to the crashing of the waves. They sing their song. The song of the whales. The song only they can sing.

Song Of Youth
Sing, youth, the loveliest song you know!
Sing the song that seethes within your breast,
Let your joy burst forth in passion...
Don't hold back your song! Let it soar.
Sing your song, youth. I beg you sing...
Let it seize you, kiss you, inspire you to love
With youthful ardour... Let the foaming wave of feelings
Which your song arouses surge over us.
Sing your song, youth, and laugh like children!
Let the sound of your voice rise to the heavens
And echo back to us again, from the envious stars.
For we adore you, as we adore the sun.
Sing, youth! Sing your joyful song!
Laugh, youth, laugh! The world is yours.
My Song
I have no song
But still I sing
I let my voice
Fly on wing
For even though
My heart is bare
I have a song
Yet to spare
The song I sing
It has not one word
But far and wide
It's ever heard
My song is
Universal see
Song of wild
Always free
Sung by many
Sung by one
Sung beneath
A dying sun
Song of joy
Yet song of pain
Song of long nights
In the rain
Song of battles
Song of strife
Song of death
But also life
I'll sing untill
I have no breath
And then I'll sing
My song in death

Salvation Road
Sung by everybody
Hear me brothers, hear me sisters,
Citizens and comrades hear my song.
The old lifes dead the orders changing
Its time for all of us to move along.
Got no time to live a life
With old worn-out traditions
Swallowed my pride,
Changed my ways,
And found a new religion.
There you go.
Sick and tired of living on loans,
Driving around in a car that I dont own.
Tired of looking at wealthy faces
Flying off to far out places.
The workers of the world
Shall give the profits to the people.
Class will disappear
And we will live our lives as equals.
There you go.
And well all walk along
And well all sing a song
And well all mark time as we go.
Yes, well all walk along
And well all sing a song
As we walk down salvation road.
Goodbye youth, goodbye dreams,
The good times and the friends I used to know.
Goodbye freedom, hello fear,
A brave new world has suddenly appeared.
Got to be hard,
Dont look back
And no more reminiscing.
Times are rough,
Weve got to be tough,
And concentrate on living.
There you go.
And well all join hands,
And well all march along
And well all mark time as we go.
Yes, well all walk along,
And well sing a song,
As we walk down salvation road.
Well all walk along
And well all sing a song
And well all mark time as we go.
Yes, well all walk along
And well all sing a song
As we walk down salvation road.

The Song Is Over
The song is over
Its all behind me
I should have known it
She tried to find me
Our love is over
Theyre all ahead now
Ive got to learn it
Ive got to sing out
Chorus:
Ill sing my song to the wide open spaces
Ill sing my heart out to the infinite sea
Ill sing my visions to the sky high mountains
Ill sing my song to the free, to the free
Ill sing my song to the wide open spaces
Ill sing my heart out to the infinite sea
Ill sing my visions to the sky high mountains
Ill sing my song to the free, to the free
When I walked in through the door
Thought it was me I was looking for
She was the first song I ever sang
But it stopped as soon as it began
Our love is over
Its all behind me
Theyre all ahead now
Cant hope to find me
(chorus)
This song is over
Im left with only tears
I must remember
Even if it takes a million years
The song is over
The song is over
Searchin for a note, pure and easy
Playing so free, like a breath rippling by
