Less traveled
Ruth followed Naomi into poverty. She stayed even though her sisters in law left. On the road less traveled. David became a young king. He almost got killed by king Saul. Who was jealous. David was Gods chosen one. On the road less traveled. Jesus was rejected by all even his own. Yet he died on a tree to save sinners and rose again so any one who repents can be immortal. On the road less traveled. Job had a lot of horrible things happen to him all around the same time. Yet he did not curse God and die. On the road less traveled. God helped Esther save all of her people. She is the living proof that God has a time for everything. On the road less traveled.

Contentment In Life
I traveled the high road.
I traveled the low
and all of that traveling
wherever I'd go
never fulfilled me,
never at all.
It just kept me moving
and then came the wall.
'Stop! ' it said.
Where are you going?
You're following a road
and not even knowing
why?
'Sit down. Be still
and be content.
You've traveled long and far.
Now's the time to meditate
and realize who you are.
You do not have to follow a road.
The road will come to you.
The lesson in life that you must learn
is to thy own self be true.'

The Road Less Traveled
(Buddy Brock/Dean Dillion)
There's a road a winding road that never ends
Full of curves lessons learned at every bend
Goin's rough unlike the straight and narrow
It's for those who go against the grain
Have no fear dare to dream of a change live to march to the beat of a
different drummer
And it all might come together
And it all might unraveled
On the road less traveled
For the road less traveled ain't for the faint of heart
For those who choose to play it safe and never stray too far
Me I want to live my life and one day leave my mark
And it all might come together
And it all come unraveled
On the road less traveled
I've chosen a pathway I may not endure
One thing's for certain nothing for sure
And it all might come together
And it all might come unraveled
On the road less traveled
For the road less traveled ain't for the faint of heart
For those who choose to play it safe and never stray too far
Me I want to live my life and one day leave my mark
And it all might come together
And it all come unraveled
On the road less traveled
There's a road winding road that never ends

The Romans Road
Did you ever travel that path that in the world is very well known?
This path that has been so traveled on is the wonderful Romans Road.
It's a road that is freely traveled on by all people from any nation,
This road has one destination, which is God's Good News of Salvation.
Therefore you find out quickly that this road was built by God's Son,
And He states early on that there is no one righteous, not even one.
And there is no one who understands, so there's no one who seeks God,
But friend, continue down this road many others have already trod.
It's a road close to home, but one that many from all over have trod,
A road sign says all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.
For sin entered the world through Adam, and passed on to you and me,
And physical death through sin came to all men, through Adam's seed.
The next sign, if you're not ready could even take away your breath,
Says your sin must be paid for and the wages of sin is Eternal Death.
But while we were yet sinners, God's love sent Christ to die for us.
Indeed, Christ died for the ungodly, and all we have to do is trust.
So if you've sincerely stayed on this road with no desire to depart,
You'll find The Word is near you; it's in your mouth and your heart,
If you confess Jesus is Lord and believe by His Father He was raised,
By Believing you are Justified and by your Confession you are Saved.

American Game
So here it goes
The story of my life so I've been told
Get on follow boy or you'll be left out in the cold
But I dont give a damn
'Cause I know who I am
And you don't gotta understand
'Cause I can't change for no man
I chose to go along the road less traveled
I chose to go the road less traveled yeah
Chorus:
I play the American Game
But I don't play the same
I got my hat tipped down
I got my peace sign out
And I'm not gonna change
So here I am
Generation X now I'm happy as hell
'Cause I'm rockin' in here
On American soil, mmmm put it back
Because of you my friends
I can live my life and I can be
Free to be me
It's such a feeling to
Not have to give a damn
'Cause I know who I am
And ya'll don't gotta understand
'Cause I don't change for no man
'Cause I chose, to go along that road less traveled
I chose to go along the road less traveled
Chorus
I don't give a damn
'Cause I know who I am
But I don't play the same
I play the American Game
But I dont play the same
Chorus x2
I play the American Game

That Road Has Been Traveled
That road has been traveled.
Long before your carefully placed steps.
Hesitated to test the paved,
And manicured path you take.
That road has been traveled.
And once aligned and adorned with gravel.
Rocks and other obstacles thrown.
If it seems,
I am not in sync...
With others who shower you,
Best wishes and tons of sympathy...
I am not going to do!
Because your shoes are too tight.
And an ingrown toenail bleeds and bites.
You are right!
I 'am' out of that synchronicity.
I don't want you to believe or 'think'
I am not with empathy!
I want you to 'know'...
I have none!
On you,
To spare.

What If I Took The Road Less Travelled By?
there were only two choices,
that was during his time,
the road less,
and the road more,
whatever that means,
you know it
and i know it
and i have chosen the road more:
more people, more opportunities
more laughter, more entertainment,
more and more
the more that we can conceive in our
minds,
less the soul, more in the body
on an imbalanced
trichotomy,
what if i have chosen the road less traveled by?
less the lust,
less the fame,
less the money, more pains, more grief,
less the acceptance of the family,
and less the looking up
smiling faces of society,
i could have been dead by now,
betrayed by all of you,
and so, thank me, fate, thank me luck,
for i am here with you
in this party of rivers of drinks and mountains of food,
in this luxuries of lust and
favors,
here we are in this ballroom
of music and dances
we all smell like rats
feel like crocodiles
and spit fires like dragons
inside the walls of
our extinction.

The Calling
How far down the road
Do you have to go
Before you can see,
Before you can know
If you've traveled correctly
And are where you should be?
Who has these answers?
Who can it be?
No one can tell you
Which road is best?
The road you are on
Is only your test.
Others can watch
And observe your choices.
But they cannot hear
Your inner voices.
They cannot know
What's in your heart.
They cannot see
Into the part
That's calling to you.
It's impossible for them.
They don't have a clue.
Advice can be given
By family or friend
All with good intention
But in the end
You will travel on
And find your own way.
And as you follow your road
You will sometimes say.
"I've made a mistake
This road isn't good".
But in your innermost knowing
You went where you should.
How far down the road
Do you have to go
Before you can see,
Before you can know
If you've traveled correctly
And are where you should be?
Who has these answers?
Who can it be?
No one can tell you
Which road is best?
The road you are on
Is only your test.

Every Road
There you go making mountains
Out of such a little hill
Here I go mixing mortar
For another wall to build
Theres a struggle in this life we lead
Its partly you
Its partly me (but)
Every road thats traveled
Teaches something new
Every road thats narrow
Pushes us to choose
And Id be lying if I said
I had not tried to leave a time or two
But every road that leads me
Leads me back to you
Here we stand in the middle
Of what weve come to know
Its a dance, its a balance
Holding on and letting go
But there is nothing that we cant resolve
When loves at stake
When loves involved

Untraveled
As my world had slowly unraveled,
From taking a road that was untraveled,
Narrow up ahead was the way
I had only my belief and I did pray,
Forward in front of me was the only gate
I took nothing to chance, or even to fate.
I now know not to walk with sin,
Never will I walk with it ever again,
So all alone on the road I did walk
Without sinning or immorality so to myself I did talk,
No other person was in my thoughts or my sight
As no one was at my left, or on my right.
Another road I noticed not very far away,
I saw liars and sinners and those ready to betray,
Their road was long and it was very wide
People walked it with a happiness and also with pride,
Their upcoming gate was crooked, rusted and bent
Sadly not one soul was sorry, or wanted to repent.
As I walk the road that is seldom traveled,
My life in front of me then became unraveled,
It shows the life that I have lived and also led
Now my life and my redemption is on my head,
As I headed for the final entrance gate
To find my hereafter, as heaven will await.

I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
God Will Judge
I came upon a fork in the road
And I didn't know which path to take
Should I take the path most traveled upon
As that decision I just have to make.
So I ponder the decision for a while
Till an outcome came to my mind
I would take the one that was less traveled
And truthfully I still know not why.
I started my journey down that path
As down that road I began to walk
I then began to think the thoughts to myself
And also to myself I began to talk.
I came upon two men and a woman arguing
Screaming back and forth about hate and love
I bowed my head and then I walked away
And I said to them, one day GOD he will judge.
I walked down the road a little bit further
Then I noticed water upon the path
It formed a pond which became my mirror
Then I saw myself looking in, so I had to laugh.
I looked so sad and I look so confused
As at first I didn't think that it was me
But they say with age comes wisdom and sadness
So maybe that really was myself looking back at me.
I continued my journey down the path
Just seeing were it was going to take me next
Or will the road just end like how it began
So later in the day I might sit back and reflect.
I then came across some people stealing and fighting
While an innocent man was screaming that's enough
Then like cowards I saw them all just run away
Then I said to the innocent, one day GOD he will judge.
So I continued my journey down that path
Out of curiosity to see where It would take me then
But it took me back to that same fork in the road
My ending was also where my journey did begin.
Then suddenly I had awaken from that dream
My journey was really a dream that I just had
And was it a dream about my very own circle of life
Especially my pain and suffering and what made me sad.
So I sat up in my bed and started reflecting back
Into my soul which is full of sadness of love
I think the dream was telling me do not ever forget
And that also in time to all, GOD He will judge.

Drown
No matter where you are
I can still hear you when you drown
You've traveled very far
Just to see you I'll come around
When I'm down
All of those yesterdays
Coming around
No matter where you are
I can still hear you when you dream
You traveled very far
You traveled far

The Baggage on that Long Long Road to Nowhere...
having traveled most
with distances multiplying upon itself like
a replicating virus,
one reaps the fruits of the silences of distances
the
wisdom of the road that is never satisfied upon its length
long longing
for rest
like a baggage that you leave upon the road
asking if somebody
is dishonest to keep it up for good
not revealing
the cruelty of ownership to anyone who comes back and claims
to be the
it.
