Resting On The Breeze
I don't disagree with the future
I wont hide away from the past
I'll never pretend to be something i'm not
This time will have to last
For how many years we can muster
For however far we can reach
Life must not be wasted
We must practise what we preach
I can't ever imagine
Waking up without a home
Walking to the shelters
Of the poor and the homeless swarm
So i must take it upon my shoulders
To help the needy grow
Yes i'm one of the lucky ones
I've never realised it much before
Yes i'll reach out my hand
And i'll help with all my strength
To get you to where i am now
This life is not for lent
Maybe one day we can make it
Maybe we'll all live in peace
But until then i will not stop
Till i'm resting on the breeze

Future Is Promises
I saw him today at the station
There was something on his mind
I felt I was on the devils mission
Trying to steal him from a friend
I know it hurts you
And you cant ask why
I know it hurts you
Takes a train to cry
Your only future is promises
For so many years
Your only future is promises
I know you can make it if you try
Youve been living life in the past
Im gonna reach out Im gonna grab your heart
Youve been living life in the eyes of a stranger
Youve gotta free your mind
Cause I want to get nearer
Your only future is promises
For so many years
Your only future is promises
I know you can make it if you try
Take the chance and make the move
But dont think that I will approve
For once Ive finally realised
Being with her wasted your life
Your only future is promises
For so many years
Your only future is promises
I know you can make it if you try
Your only future is promises
For so many years
Your only future is promises

Walking Through The Rain
Once in our lifetime
will go through a narrow road
where there's nobody around
We just walking all alone
Carrying attached burden
And behind, chased by a storm
Will the soul safely reach home?
Left and right, nothing around
keep walking in a small road
Wind run chasing this feet
Bringing sand to my eyes
A bit hurt, force to tears
dropped, flew, dried still fears
Keep walking the storm just near
Wind swirl and touch the trees
The weak leaves falling down
Riding this feeling we cant help
After carrying all blurry years
The future seems like a smear
But the storm keep coming near
Too close to breaks and clear
I still walking ahead with hopes
There's nothing around to hold
The grey conquer half of the blue sky
While the sun gone leaving without light
Keep walking, keep moving, it's alright
Even the clouds shades my shadow
We left the past, i wont undo
When the rain pour on me
Finally i know the storm caught my body
Still walking, keep walking even a bit slowly
Stuck in heaviness, waking, standing and walking again
The storm push me down like the weak leaves falling down
Wake up and walking once again, nothing to hold, all by my own
Thunder shouting to scare but i'm too tired to keep afraid
No choice only walking, so I'll be brave for a change
Through this heavy rain
Keep walking to keep moving
Even it was pain with burden
For days and years to come,
I making decision through this rain
For life and future days still remain
Dont want spent entire life with all constrains
A Change for a chance,
So i took this chance to change
For next change of life chance
For always i trust my believe for a chance
The reason why i keep walking through the heavy rain
Cause i know there's always something i will gain at the end
A future with a rainbow will prove there's a chance and change
Cause I know the sun will rise and shine again
So i have made a decision through the rain
Even though i know storm will appear again
I will keep walking and stand again

Like A Battle-Axe
You are covered with the multitude of the waves of love,
And you are now like a battle-axe with your lover!
But your strength has now failed and you've become like a woman.
Men and women,
Old and young;
The vapours ascended from the ends of the earth,
And like Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz.
The time of the harvest is near nad,
You are like the swarm of locusts!
But reach out to the needy and help the poor.

Many Say Our Life's Journey
Many say our life's journey is fashioned from the life choices we make
That due to poor decisions the wrong road we do take
But assumptions to make to some people do come easily
The people who discount what is known as life's destiny,
The child born of parents living in poverty
Disadvantaged from birth what life choice has she or he?
Homeless as teenagers with little to eat
On the dingy sidewalks of Poverty Street
Life choices not for those of the poor streets of town
For most from there life's journey never leads to renown
Homeless as teenagers they turn to drugs and crime
And like their parents before them serve many years of jail time
Life choices are not for everyone it does seem to me
Though with me on this one many would disagree.

Old Virginia
Written by dan peek and catherine peek, 1975
Found on hearts.
Hey, honey, wont you sit down
And stop here for a spell
Singin the sweet old lullabies
To forget about your health
Dont think about tomorrow
Its a whole nights sleep away
Sure would be pleased to have you stay
And its reach out old virginia
Wont you rock him close to you
The poor boys had a hotel so long
He dont know what to do
Its time to come on home
And put your feet up for a while
So much travlin round tends to take away your smile
pears to me its all a body can do to stay in tune
And youve been strainin at those strings
From mornin till noon
So come on down and hang around
Itll put you right real soon
cause nothings changed
Its all the same
Reach out old virginia
Wont you rock him close to you
The poor boys had a hotel so long
He dont know what to do
Its time to come on home
And put your feet up for a while
So much travlin round can take away your smile
Reach out old virginia
Wont you rock him close to you
The poor boys had a hotel so long
He dont know what to do
Its time to come on home
And put your feet up for a while
So much travlin round can take away your smile

Galileo
Galileos head was on the block
The crime was looking up for truth
And as the bombshells of my daily fears explode
I try to trace them to my youth
And then you had to bring up reincarnation
Over a couple of beers the other night
And now Im serving time for mistakes
Made by another in another lifetime
How long till my soul gets it right
Can any human being ever reach that kind of light
I call on the resting soul of galileo
King of night vision, king of insight
And then I think about my fear of motion
Which I never could explain
Some other fool across the ocean years ago
Must have crashed his little airplane
How long till my soul gets it right
Can any human being ever reach that kind of light
I call on the resting soul of galileo
King of night vision, king of insight
Im not making a joke, you know me
I take everything so seriously
If we wait for the time till all souls get it right
Then at least I know therell be no nuclear annihilation
In my lifetime Im still not right
I offer thanks to those before me
Thats all Ive got to say
cause maybe you squandered big bucks in your lifetime
Now I have to pay
But then again it feels like some sort of inspiration
To let the next life off the hook
But shell say look what I had to overcome from my last life
I think Ill write a book
How long till my soul gets it right
Can any human being ever reach the highest light
Except for galileo God rest his soul
(except for the resting soul of galileo)
King of night vision, king of insight
How long
(till my soul gets it right)
[til we reach the highest light]
How long
(till my soul gets it right)
[til we reach the highest light]
How long

Take The Time Out
Lying out on the street, theres a man
That needs somewhere to sleep
And a bag-lady digs, through the trash
Hoping to find some food to eat
In the cold winters snow, walks a boy
That needs shoes for his feet
In an old run-down house, theres a child
In a crib that needs some heat
In the dark of the night, a young man
Searches for a guiding light
And a young woman cries in despair
Cause she feels alone in life
You might ask yourself what in the hell
Does that have to do with me
Well, here is your wake up call...
Everything!
Cause we all play a part in each others existence
Take the time out to love someone
Reach your arms out and hug someone
Be it king or some homeless one
We are all one underneath the sun
Take the time out to be right there
Take the time out to show you care
Youll be so glad when the day is done
You took the time out to love someone
Theres a man in a house where theyre selling crack
Yet hes trying to be strong
But when lost in the sea, of no hope
He must be saved from wrong
Dont say what you wont do, if for days
You had no food to eat
Nor extremes you wont go, for a bed, shoes
Or if your baby needed heat
You do not have the right to pre-judge
If you dont share your strength
And you cant say youre down for the fight
If you wont go the length
Now I dont really care what you feel
If you dont feel for life
And dont care what you think if your words
Dont have ways and actions that perpetuate life
Take the time out to love someone
Reach your arms out and hug someone
Be it king or some homeless one
We are all one underneath the sun
Take the time out to be right there
Take the time out to show you care
Youll be so glad when the day is done
You took the time out to love someone
(repeat)
I think its time to...
Take the time out to love someone
Reach your arms out and hug someone
Be it king or some homeless one
We are all one underneath the sun
Take the time out to be right there
Take the time out to show you care
Youll be so glad when the day is done
You took the time out to love someone
(repeat)

I can make change just to reach out
I can make change just to reach out
To reach out to somebody hands
I can make a change reach out openly to opponent
I can make a change we can be friends
I can make a change reach out for love
I can make a change reach out reach for Peace
Reach out and said Hello
Reach out and said how you do
Reach out and said you beautiful
Reach and said I love you people
Reach out, hugs one nearest to you
And give a hugs to everybody
Reach out, and touch both hands
And feel their faces
Feel is feel he is good, feel it feel she is nice
Reach out it a beautiful thing to do
and scream out loud
Show some sincerity

Life..?
A life that I live for my dreams,
A life that will extend far beyond my realms..
A life to live without anything to fear,
A life to fulfill the wishes of my dear...
A life that has meaning even though not understood my most..
A life like a wave, stumbling to reach the coast..
A life of solitude desired by none,
A life of peace in search of someone..
A life that in size small might be,
A life which forever, end will never see..
A life in which luxuries might not be there,
A life in which happiness is everywhere..
A life in which the value is of time,
A life till its end will always be mine..

We Can Only Live In The Here And Now
We cannot live in the future the future of us is ahead
And the past has gone forever though memories of it are not dead
We can only live in the here and now though the clock keeps ticking on
And the future we don't know about and the past forever gone
Some say we receive from life from life what is our due
Though many fall victim of bad circumstance so happens to be true
And though some will also tell you hard times are not meant to last
Those who do not have a future are those who have had a tragic past
The rags to riches stories to say the least are rare
Though lady luck can make of you an instant millionaire
Though of one who has won first division lotto I for one am not aware
For such extremely lucky people to say the least are rare
The future is ahead of us and the past forever gone
And we can only live in the here and now though time is ticking on.

In Many Ways
Of elite athletes, celebrities and the rich and famous the praises you will hear so many sing
But they are mortals they don't live forever for human life is a temporary thing
All I ask of life is to be happy just for the remainder of my life span
It would be nice to grow old free of sadness and die painless in my sleep a happy man
In many ways I do feel very lucky when my lot in life with others I compare
So many people poor, hungry and Homeless and Stateless in the bigger World out there
What they would give to be lucky as I am at least I have a roof above my head
So many poor and hungry and sad people who sad to say feel envious of the dead
So many poor people in refugee camps they are the people of no fixed abode
The victims of Warlords and droughts and famines their life journey has been a hard old road
'Tis sad to think of the sadness all around us the Homeless children of poverty street
Who search in rubbish bins in the dark alleys for food that others have refused to eat
In many ways I do feel very lucky so many people far worse off than me
In the bigger World out there much want and sadness and many people live in poverty.

In My Advancing Years
And,
In my advancing years...
Those struggles I feared,
Are memories of my past.
I ask and I've kept,
That peace of mind once out of my reach.
I desire more to explore,
A life now I've allowed to teach.
Instead of a search I keep,
In continued excuses met to refuse...
A life given to me.
And one I discovered I like,
In my advancing years.
And,
In my advancing years...
Tears that once flowed,
For those I miss so much in my life.
Today,
I've come to realize my life should be lived...
And not to fight,
Against...
The acceptance of surprises.
And I should stop sitting on a fence
In those disguises to hide.
In my advancing years,
I've learned to dance...
Until the music stops.
And I'm no longer here...
To hear as clear as I do now.
With ears that will be silenced.
And I should not wait,
Or anticipate the outcome.
But I will instill adventure.
In my advancing years uncensored.

Break Through The Barrier
(a. cymone, g. cole)
Producer: andre cymone
Albums: days of thunder soundtrack
Look for empty roads to travel
And grab some peace of mind
When my life seems to unravel
Strength from you Ill find
Like the ocean and the sunshine
Ill keep trying till youre all mine
Till the moment is right
I wont give up the fight
Ill keep pushing till I break through the barrier
Like a phoenix arises
Aint no mountain too high
Ill keep pushing till I break through the barrier
Like the eyes of total strangers
Our future is unknown
In a world of hidden danger
Dont want to be all alone
Like a rainbow and the starlight
Ill keep holding on till youre mine
Till the moment is right
I wont give up the fight
Ill keep pushing till I break through the barrier
Like a phoenix arises
Aint no mountain too high
Ill keep pushing till I break through the barrier
When it seems that odds are all against you
Gotta reach inside and find the strength to pull you through
Its not enough to love each other, baby
To make it right is gonna take some time
If I could only break through your barrier

Imagine (Love Poem)
Imagine the world ….
….if you had never said “Hello”
Imagine the space….
….where you were meant to be
Imagine waking up….
….in a forever empty bed
Imagine the absent closeness….
….and perfect pleasures lost
Imagine a time….
….before your tender touch
Imagine the future….
….if fragile friendships end
Imagine the energy….
….we must spend to stop this
Imagine the heat….
….that our love will generate
Imagine the reward….
….of this lifetime together.

Kiss The Future
Forgiveness and mercy. in short supply. so lonely, so
Faithful. no reason why. in my mind at this time. just clear
Blue sky. your story just starting. now learn to fly.
It takes a miracle to make you see. my consciousness
Exploded.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.
No time now for sorrow. meet life full-blast. lets take on
Tomorrow. forget the past.
It takes a miracle to make you see. my consciousness
Exploded.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.
It takes a miracle to make you see. my consciousness
Exploded.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.
This is what you came here for. stop the engine slam the
Door. leave that lonesome corridor.
Take the plunge and wipe the slate. smile your smile -
Youre feeling great. soon youre going to celebrate.
Time has gone to hesitate. nothing now can make you
Wait. take control of your own fate.
Take tomorrow in your hand. make the others understand.
One break you must demand.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.

Your Lucky Day In Hell
Mama grapped onto the milkman's hand
And then she finally gave birth
Years go by still i don't know
Who shall inherit this earth
And no one will know my name until it's on a stone
This could be your lucky day in hell
Never know who it might be at your doorbell
This could be your lucky day in hell
Waking up with an ugly face
Winston churchhill in drag
Looking for a new maternal embrace
Another tired old gag
Am i just a walking bag of chewed up dust and bones
This could be your lucky day in hell
Never know who it might be at your doorbell
This could be your lucky day in hell
Father theresa you can't make me into you
I never wanna be like you
Why can't you see it's me
You know it's time to let me go
This could be your lucky day in hell
Never know who it might be at your doorbell
This could be your lucky day in hell

Heavens Waiting
There is no understanding in this hostile age
Sometimes I feel just like a rat locked in a cage
Its hard to live beyond the walls
It aint no life at all
But dont you tear it down
Chorus:
Take your chances, Ill take mine
Chasing thunder is only wasted time
Got no reason to walk that line
Heavens waiting if I can make it home tonight
And with the years Ive found a faith that gets me by
It shows me the truth in a hurricane of lies
My babys left a light for me
Thats really all I need
They wont bring me down
Repeat chorus
Aimlessly rushing leaves you with nothing
You need some loving to make you feel alive
In less than a moment, life can be stolen
I know where Im going, gotta get me there tonight
Im holding on to what I can
Like any other lucky man
Love wont strike me, love wont sell me out
Repeat chorus

In A Human World Where Many Grow Poorer
In a Human World where many grow poorer for one to become a millionaire
Who can blame the forgotten have nots for thinking that life is unfair
The homeless poor of the big city to survive have to battle the odds
Many of them die in their twenties the children of the lesser gods,
The children of disadvantaged parents for them no such a thing as a fair go
A good home and a good education of such things they never will know
Compared to them I feel so lucky one might say a fortunate man
I have never been hungry or homeless at anytime in my life span
For the wealthy to grow wealthier the poor must grow poorer in a fair Human World this would not be
Far too many are disadvantaged and condemned to live in poverty
Even in the so called wealthy Nations the hidden poverty is rife
By circumstance of birth far too many are condemned to a miserable life
'Tis true enough we are mere mortals and to the scythe of the Reaper we fall
But in a Human World where many grow poorer no such a thing as a fair go for all.

Fight
You know some days I like me.
Some days I dont.
Some days I try with passion.
Sometimes I wont.
I might just hold my guard up,
And lock my heart up tight,
But its the door thats open,
Letting in the light.
Theres a battle raging
Inside of me.
Its a holy struggle,
And it wont let go of me.
No, no, no,
I dont want to stop the fighting,
Wo, wo, wo,
I just want to live right.
I used to sit and ponder
If Id be fine,
If jesus lived his own life,
And I lived mine.
But love is such a magnet,
It pulled me night and day,
Until my needy heart
Just couldnt stay away.
Life can drive you crazy,
Or just about.
But even when its most frustrating,
This kids not walking out.
No, no, no,
I dont want to stop the fighting,
Wo, wo, wo,
Sure its tough but I wont deny it,
No, no, no,
I dont want to waste my life hiding,
Wo, wo, wo,
I just want to live right.
Ive made up my mind now,
I dont want to lose out, (unguarded)
Beginning to see now,
What the fight is about, (unguarded heart)
I gotta stay open,
Keep defenses all down, (unguarded)
Dont want to be hiding,
When the love comes round.
No, no, no,
I dont want to stop the fighting,
Wo, wo, wo,
I just want to live right.
No, no, no,
I dont want to stop the fighting,
Wo, wo, wo,
Sure its tough but I wont deny it,
No, no, no,
I dont want to waste my life hiding,
Wo, wo, wo,
I just want to live right.
No, no, no,
I dont want to stop the fight, now,
Wo, wo, wo,
I just want to live right, now.
No, no, no,
I dont want to stop the fighting,
Wo, wo, wo,
I just want to live right.
No, no, no,
I just cant stop the fighting,
Wo, wo, wo,
If I want to live right.
No, no, no,
I dont want to stop the fighting,
Wo, wo, wo,
I just want to live right.
No, no, no...

The More We Live - Let Go
You and I can change the world;
The more we live, the more we learn, the more we know.
From this moment on we share the world;
The more we give, the more we love, the more we grow.
The spirit of imagination can lead us through the dark;
The more we see, the more we try, the more we show.
The evidence of our confusion, life has left its mark;
The more we fear, the more we lie, the more we hide.
As we walk into tomorrow
(turning away from the path we know)
Holding the future with our hands
(we carry the weight of the world we go)
Its up to you and I we hold the key; we hold the answers
All our thoughts of doubt and fear are leaving one by one
The more we live, the more we learn, the more we know.
For each of us the road is clear and life has just begun;
The more we give, the more we love, the more we grow.
Its time to reach the goals weve set for ourselves;
The more we fear, the more we lie, the more we hide.
All we need is just to believe in ourselves;
We face the truth, we see it clear, with no disguise.
Cast away our doubt and sorrow
(turning away from the past we know)
The universe at our command
(conserving the fate of the world we grow)
Together you and i, we hold the key to all the answers
Let go
Let go
Let go
Let go
Let go
