My Plea
(07/04/11)
I said a prayer and he heard my plea
And came down to comfort me.
I told him that he knew what
I was going through
I just didn’t know what to do.
I could see that face in that
Blurred vision of him
And he stood with a very wide grin.
He said: my son there are answers all around
You just have to look for them to be found.
For every ailment there is a cure
And of this you can be sure.
The older generations had all the home remedies
Just check with them and you will see.
I have given you a brain to use
And free will for you to choose.
Use what I have given to you
To find the answers.
And choose Which would be right for you
This is all you have to do.
Quick cures you may find
But the correct ones take more time.
As I took time to make everything you see
You just have to wait patiently.
Help yourself and I will help you
And these words are so very true.
If I had made life easy
Would you appreciate what you see.
These are burdens that you must bare
And the rest with you I’ll share.
Now I knew my plea was heard
And to mankind he gave his word.

He Heard My Plea
(6/29/12)
The rains were coming down as heavy as can be
Lightning was covering the black skies
As far as I could see.
The rolling thunder deafening to my ears
As my heart filled with fear.
No place to run to - no place to hide
As I fell to my knees and started to cry.
I prayed to GOD to protect me
Cause I just wanted to get back to my family.
The thunder seemed to subside, as I opened up my eyes
Through the darkness of the clouds
A light came shining through
And like a spotlight it shone down on me
Then I knew the LORD heard my plea.
The rains were still coming down
Yet not a dropp on me was found.
I felt a calmness come over me
As if I had been set free.
I rushed straight home and there my family stood
Just like I knew that they would.
They always feared when they heard
the rolling thunder, and saw the lightning in the sky
And they would pray, just like I.
I hugged them and again I thanked the LORD
For giving me this opportunity - to be with my family.
If he heard my plea when I prayed
Why can't you do the same?

Stand Out
I'm nothing more
than who I choose to be
I will stand tall
I will be free
but it's hard
to stand just me
it'll be okay though
because I'll be set free
no one knows
the true fear we share
they'll only know
when they start to care
that day'll never come
so it's not worth the try
it's time I stood out
so I take one final sigh
I step out of the crowd
as some choose to laugh and stare
they say 'You'll never make it'
and 'This you'll never bare'
but they don't know me
like they think they do
it's my time to stand out
when will it be you?

Its Over
And I didnt think about
All the ways I hurt you and myself
And I hide
Wouldnt say a thing to you
I keep it to myself and my mind
I cant stand without you
And I wont find the answers when youre gone
But its over to you
And I cant find the answers when youre gone
And its over to you
And you cant find the answer where you are
And you know
(and you know)
I need you now
This aint easy to admit
And no one needs to know
What goes on behind the door in my room
Im peeking through the walls in my mind
And I cant stand without you
I wont find the answers when youre gone
But its over to you
And I cant find the answers when youre gone
And its over to you
And you cant find the answers where you are
I will tear you down
I will tear you down
To get into the world you wanted
Im kicking through the wall
No one can believe in things that never change
[chorus]
And its over to you
And I cant find the answers when youre gone
And I cant find the answers when youre gone
And I cant find the answers when youre gone

Based Upon The Quality Of Your Assumptions
Most of what you have mentioned to me,
I am not aware of at all.
It certainly conflicts,
With what I have come to understand.
'Surprised by that I am not.
You are amongst the many living a life,
Based upon the quality of your assumptions.
However...
I do acknowledge this.
Am I about to make attempts to convince you,
There are others ways you can validate...
Truth and its importance to achieve mental relief?
I could if I persisted,
By making to you recommendations.'
Oh?
Seriously?
No way!
'Way.'
How?
I've got to hear this.
I'm all ears.
'Well...
You could ask me directly first.
That's one way.
Or...
You could choose not to be so quick,
To repeat everything you hear...
Until you have gotten that information,
From the horse's mouth.'
You know...
I was told you say some crazy stuff.
Thanks for validating that.
I can't wait to tell others you told me,
That a horse knows more about you...
Than I already know!
Yep!
What I've heard about you is correct.
You are totally out of your mind.
You're nuts.
'I appreciate that.
And coming from you...
I regard that as a compliment.'
**You could choose not to be so quick,
To repeat everything you hear...
Until you have gotten that information,
From the horse's mouth.**
You don't know how hysterical you are.
Funny and sad at the same time.
'Trust me...
I do.
I know I have my issues.
But this too shall pass.'
Stop it. Stop it.
I am about to laugh in your face.

Rainbow
I didn’t choose to love you
but I did choose to care
I wish I had my freedom
I wish life was fair
I suffer when I am without you
with you, I suffer even more
around you I cant wait to leave
Yet, I cling on to your door
I find peace in your silence
I find wisdom in your every word
I find pleasure in your voice tone
In you I find the world..
but like every time I start to fly
I fall right back down
and I long to see colours of a rainbow
to know hope is still in the sky

Less Analytical
You can make up your mind,
That you will...
Find the time to be,
More exclusive...
In reducing your excuses.
You can make up your mind,
That you will...
Find the time to be,
More correct...
And,
Less analytical.
Remove yourself from being in the middle,
Of drain.
Remove yourself from being second fiddle,
For anything you dislike...
By,
Deciding what is right.
And you can free yourself from even being,
Very critical.
You can free yourself from seeking things,
More political.
And you will live a life,
With a meaning that is right...
For you.
If this is what you choose.
You can make up your mind,
That you will...
Find the time to be,
More exclusive...
In reducing your excuses.
You can make up your mind,
That you will...
Find the time to be,
More correct...
And less analytical.
You can free yourself from even being,
Very critical.
You can free yourself from seeking things,
More political.
You can live a life,
With a meaning that is right...
For you!
With a doing that you choose.
And...
You will live your life,
With a meaning that is right...
For you.
If,
This is what you choose.

Peacefully He Died
I had no choice to where to be born
But if I could choose where to die
I would choose where the Lilacs grow
And where the river runs wide.
I would go where no War has been
And from hate, no one has died
I would go where the Birds fly high
And where the tree tops touch the sky.
I would go where the water is blue
And where the land is painted green
I would go where nature plays her song
And it is nothing more than serene.
For a Man lives such a mournful life
And I think it is just fitting and right
For him to find His own place to go
When it becomes His time to die.
For I would like to go where the word is peace
When it becomes my time to go
Where sadness and pain is never felt
And their aftermath is never known.
I would like to go where hunger is fed
And misery is a forgotten word
I would like to go where love is sewn
And where, “ I don’t care” is never heard.
So when it becomes my time to leave
I won’t go with Mans sorrows or fears
I hope to be buried in a peaceful place
And I hope not, to cause much tears.
For where to be born I had no choice
But where to choose to finally lie
I would like to go where on my tombstone they’d write,
“Hate and Sorrow Knew His Name, But Peacefully Here He Died”.....

Apathy Rages Unchecked
I have a strong aversion to.
Doing what I’m told to do
Though other people think I should
I have a different attitude
I have a brain I choose to use
To form my independent views.
Although I’m sure to face abuse
Because I stubbornly refuse
To do what they expect of me
To be what they want me to be
I am a man and I am free.
To live the way that I want to
And do the things I choose to do.
Although the vast majority
do as they’re told quite happily.
They are bogged down in apathy
they can’t think independently.
they either can’t or don’t want to
It makes me sad but I must say
They choose to take the easy way.
They follow like a flock of sheep
Because their minds are lulled to sleep.
they are bombarded constantly.
with adverts by the powers that be.
Which are designed to fill their mind
to make quite sure they never find.
Any reason to complain.
Because they cannot use their brain..
They are convinced that they are free
and yet submit to slavery.
At least that’s how it seems to me.
Things aren’t as they appear to be
Although the vast majority.
Accept things as they seem to be.

On The Radio (From The Motion Picture Foxes)
Someone found a letter you wrote me, on the radio
and they told the world just how you felt
it must have fallen out of a hole in your old brown overcoat
they never said your name
but I knew just who they meant.
I was so surprised and shocked, and I wonderer, too
if by chance you heard it for yourself
I never told a soul just how I've been feeling about you
but they said it really loud
they said it on the air
On the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
Now, now
don't it kinda strike you sad when you hear our song
things are not the same since we broke up last June
the only thing that I wanna hear is that you love me still
and that you think you'll be coming home real soon
whoa, oh, yeah, yeah
And it made me feel proud when I heard you say
you couldn't find the words to say it yourself
and now in my heart I know I can say what I really feel
'Cause they said it really loud
they said it on the air
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
(Played in shorter version)
If you think that love isn't found on the radio
well tune right in you made find the love you lost
'cause now I'm sitting here with the man I sent away long ago
it sounded really loud
they said it really loud
On the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
(End)
(Played in longer version)
Sending in a letter to tell them that I love you too
if you hear it, maybe you will know
when you hear them read the line about love's return on the radio
you'll think about the two of us and you'll come home
whoa, oh, oh
if you knew just how I'd felt why'd you make me wait?
life goes on and on while you play with my heart
don't hold on any longer 'cause now I know how you really feel
'Cause I heard it really loud
they said it on the air
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
Now,
if you think that love isn't found on the radio
then tune right in you made find the love you lost
'cause now I'm sitting here with the man I sent away long ago
it sounded really loud
they said it really loud
On the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh
on the radio
whoa, oh, oh

This Time Around
It's getting colder in this ditch where I lie
I'm feeling older and I'm wondering why
I heard they told her it was tell and live or die
I didn't know her but I know why she lied
I didn't know her but I know why she died
Yeah
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
Whoa yeah
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
Yeah
And we won't go down
Yeah
I heard them say that dreams should stay in your head
Well I feel ashamed of the things that I've said
Put on these chains and you can live a free life
Well I'd rather bleed just to know why I died
Yeah
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
Whoa yeah
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
Whoa yeah
And we won't go down
And we won't go down
And we won't go down
Yeah
And we won't go down
Yeah
All I know is that fear has got to go
This time around
...This time around
I've started feeling like I don't want to fight
Give in to the given and put out the light
Cannons a blazing shower these moonlit skies
Then I remember and I know why he died
Do you know why I'd die
Yeah.
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
Whoa yeah
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
Whoa yeah
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
Whoa yeah
You can't say I didn't give it
I won't wait another minute
We're on our way this time around
And we won't go down
And we won't go down
And we won't go down
Yeah

To A Love Poem You Twitch Your Face
This time,
As a critique of a love poem you
Read my lines and twitch your face
You cannot believe
What I write
that I for once was true
That I can now be true to you
For once I make this plea
Dust off the fleas
Of sin and prejudice
It is me, I once loved you,
And you knew
It was true but you never believed it,
it is me now, ready to love you again
My love,
Love changes everything
And that does not exclude me,
Do stamp your feet now
Crush all those fleas
And do not twitch your face,
hear me, strike me, i deserve
the punishment
having left you
long time ago
This is me
Ready to love you again, this is my plea.
please listen, spare, speak to me

Please Be With Me
Upon my word, what could it be?
Is it love, or is it me
That makes me change so suddenly
From looking out to feeling free
I sit here lying in my bed
Wondering what it was I said
That made me think Id lost my head
When I knew Id lost my heart instead
So wont you please read my signs, be a gypsy
Tell me what I hope to find deep within me
Because you can find my mind, please be with me
Of all the better things Ive heard
Loving you has made the words
And all the rest seem so absurd
When in the end it all comes out, Im sure

Find My Way
I don't know how to let you go
I've given to you all of me.
All that will ever be,
We share the same heart and soul
I want you to believe in me
See through my eyes and you will know
I'll take my chance that you will come home to me
Even if it takes some time for you to work it out
I'll be there.
I've still got a ways to go,
So far away from home.
Inside I always knew,
I'd Find My Way to you.
I've still got a ways to go,
So far away from home.
Inside I always knew,
I'd Find My Way to you.
If I could be everything you want
If I could change everything that I have done
Only you'd know where I have gone
I wanna prove I am worthy to be called yours
I need you more than I ever have
And I don't wanna stay, try to find me if you can
If I get lost along the way, please don't forget me
Know that I'll be here.
I've still got a ways to go,
So far away from home.
Inside I always knew,
I'd Find My Way to you.
I've still got a ways to go,
So far away from home.
Inside I always knew,
I'd Find My Way to you.
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'll be there, I'll be there
I've still got a ways to go,
So far away from home.
Inside I always knew,
I'd Find My Way to you.
I've still got a ways to go,
So far away from home.
Inside I always knew,
I'd Find My Way to you.
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'll Find My Way to you

The Question Of Life
The Little One sought answers, too.
The elders gave advice.
Not satisfied if truths were true,
If wisdoms were so wise...
The Little One went on his way,
To find life's meaning there,
Beyond the words he heard that day
That left him unaware.
The Little One was told at last,
By one old precious voice,
Grandfather's words left him aghast,
'Your life end's not your choice...'
But then he saw his own old face,
The Old One spoke and said,
'My Little One, it's no disgrace,
Life lasts until you're dead...'
The Little One observed these truths,
The Old One carried on...
'We make our choices while we're youths
Until all youth has gone...
We choose our lifelong destinies,
From thoughts within the mind,
Yet blessed much more than victories
Are hearts we leave behind...'
The Little One now understood,
He saw Man's pain and strife...
He saw the hopes and dreams were good,
Just like the Tree of Life...
From fashioned turquoise in a frame,
A circle for a home,
Was formed a pendant to proclaim
This truth each day we roam...
The Tree of Life bids us recall,
That we must live life well...
To stand up straight and then walk tall,
Through futures none can tell...
Like trees that bend when storms are strong
Yet stand the test of time...
Let's live our lives our whole lives long,
Because life is sublime...

creation of the little turquoise tree pendant.

Heaven And Hell
What if I told you
There was no place you could run to
To hide from your fears
Where good is bad and bad is good
And all the cries your cry
No one can hear
Is it heaven - is it hell
Life is what you make it only time will tell
Is it heaven - is it hell
Life is what you make it only time...
Need someone to talk to
But theres no one you can turn to
You cry out in despair
Gotta feeling you should be kneeling on your knees
You scream to the air
Lord the pain it takes its toll
The devil wants to take my soul
Tell me what should I do
The answer that you need to find
Is in the seeds youve sown
Its all up to you
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose
Death and destruction is all in your mind
Could hell be the place for the peace you must find
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose
Is God your savior - the key to the light
Or is it hell burning the flames so bright
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose
Times running out - not a second to pause
Be strong in your choice
The decision is yours
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose

Crush On You
You found out
Kick it
You found out i've got a crush on you
You must have heard it from my best friend
She's always talking when she should be listening
Can't keep a secret to save her life
But still I trusted her with all I had inside
I never knew a rumour could spread so fast
But now the word is out all over town
That i'm longing for you
How did you know cos I never told
You found out i've got a crush on you
No more charades my heart's been displayed
You found out i've got a crush on you
Maybe I was the one who left a trace
Was there a message written on my face
Were my emotions so easily read
That you could know my thoughts before a word was said
Was it my eyes that let you know I had control
Because the way you moved was so self-assured
You knew I would surrender
How did you know cos I never told
You found out i've got a crush on you
No more charades my heart's been displayed
You found out i've got a crush on you
Kick it
One time
Get it up
Get down
How did you know cos I never told
You found out
No more charades my heart's been displayed
You found out
How did you know cos I never told
You found out i've got a crush on you
No more charades my heart's been displayed
You found out i've got a crush on you

If A Man Answers
(toby keith/chuck cannon)
You said you need a little time
A little time to yourself
Im staring down this telephone wonderin
There might be someone else
If a man answers when I call
Ill just hang up, I wont say anything at all
If a man answers I know what Ill do
Ill lie here awake so I dont dream about you
If a man answers this time of night
At least Ill know somebodys holding you tight
If a man answers I wont call again
And Ill know where I stand while I twist in the wind
Oh baby, Im just missin you
Im crazy still in love with you
I know my heart will break in two
If a man answers, if a man answers
I just gotta tell you girl
Maybe somehow make you see
How much I want you to come back to me
But if a man answers youll never know
Hell let you sleep while I let you go
Oh baby, Im just missin you
Im crazy still in love with you
I know my heart will break in two
If a man answers, if a man answers
If a man answers youll never know
If a man answers Ill let you go
If a man answers this time of night
If a man answers hes holding you tight
If a man answers, if a man answers
If a man answers, if a man answers
If a man answers, oh if a man answers
If a man answers, if a man answers

He'll Never Be
98 degrees he'll never be...(what i used to be to you)
I heard you found yourself a new man
And you say you're as happy as can be
No one can play the game like you can
But does he give you everything you need
But in good time
You're gonna find
You're eyes were closed
And your heart was blind
Now it's too late to change your fate
Cause there's no way he'll ever take my place.
He'll never be
What i used to be to you
So if you wanna play the fool
Then make that move
And do what ya gotta do
You'll never find
A heart that is half as true
I guess you really never knew
But soon you'll see
That he'll never be
What i used to be to you
Does he even have a notion
Of what you really feel inside
Are you going through the motions
Livin' a lie like you're satisfied
But late at night
You realize
There's somethin' tellin' you it just ain't right
It's not the same
Am i to blame
And when you're with him
Do call my name
He'll never be
What i used to be to you
So if you wanna play the fool
Then make that move
And do what ya gotta do
You'll never find
A heart that is half as true
I guess you really never knew
But soon you'll see
That he'll never be
What i used to be to you
I gave you all my love
What were you thinking of
Guess it was just a game
It's all the same to you
Too late to try again
This story's at an end
It's time for movin' on
Now what ya gonna do
He'll never be
What i used to be to you
So if you wanna play the fool
Then make that move
And do what ya gotta do
You'll never find
A heart that is half as true
I guess you really never knew
But soon you'll see
That he'll never be
What i used to be to you
