sitting in the church pew
listening to the priest
all my emotions began to unleash.
listening about all the worlds disasters
and help reaching HAITI so much faster.
people are starting to learn to care
and their feelings they're starting to share.
the LORD has a reason
for the taking of so many lives.
and all of these disasters
for the unity of man
is what he is after.
mankind is starting to act
to the plight of others.
saving children, sisters and brothers
and the fathers and mothers.
how would you feel if the
earthquake was where you lived.
would'nt you want a helping hand
from a neighbor to give.
and if the one that was
under all that rubble
was lacking air and you
had the means and you really cared.
wouldn't you give that breath of air
and all the life saving equipment
that you could share.

can and will do

Whites against Blacks

The Way I Feel About You
you ask me how i feel about you,
sometimes words just can't explain it,
i'm falling for you a little faster than i want,
i'm scared to feel this way,
but i kind of like it,
i love that you starting to know,
what things i can't handle,
and which ones i can,
it helps me feel safe,
in more ways than you know,
i know you are not perfect,
you will have your moments,
where you might say something that set me off,
but after getting to know you better,
i'm starting to know,
that most of the time you speak from the heart,
it just the kind of person that you are,
you don't say things to hurt ppl,
you are very supportive in every way,
it makes me feel good when i talk to you,
i still love the way you stop me,

it seperated me from being 'that girl',

All that professional lipstick pressed into an amateur kiss
Farewell to the studied lines and carefully broken hearts
The overpowering perfume and the glimpse of her garter
Mingling with the sweet smoldering scent of the martyr

MOTHERS
There's no greater power on Earth
Than the love we get from our mothers.
They feel our fears within themselves
Far more than sisters or brothers.
As seasons pass; in time we learn
We can't always rely on others.
No mater what our mistakes may be
We know we can run to our mothers.
Mothers have great big aprons
To hide from the world our flaws.
They kiss and scold when we do wrong
Teaching compliance of laws.
From birth to death mothers lead
Our angels of kindness from above.
They give us more than anyone else
Preaching the importance of love.
Moms are certainly God's gift to Earth
So if you still have one, let it be known.
