GOD The Farmer
(4/14/12)
We live to love - we love to live
There is so much we have to give.
For every seed that GOD has planted
Another life has been granted.
Every seed on this earth
Will create a brand new birth.
He is the farmer - the giver of life
The crops he plants will suffice.
He planted the stars that shine at night
Gave us the sun - hot and bright.
He gave us water to quench our thirst
And gave us this water to cleanse the earth.
He planted seeds of knowledge in our brains
So if we had to - we could make the change.
He planted the seeds in the female wombs
So that life would not end to soon.
These are some of the things this farmer has given
He has made this life worth living.

The Seeds Of War
When the seeds of war are sown,
hardly is it ever known
who has planted it
and what for?
Was it about
blood and gore?
When the seeds of war take root
it's hidden reasons make us mute.
Why was it planted
and by whom?
Was its purpose
doom and gloom?
When the seeds of war are grown
never is it ever shown
how it is planted
in men's mind?
How it's made them
all so blind.
When the seeds of war do thrive
many will not be alive.
They'll be planted
in false graves.
These seeds propel
how the world behaves.

The Planted Seed
you cried because i said that i was leaving
you cried because you knew your heart was deceiving.
you took my love for granted
and in my heart, a seed you had planted.
that seed that you planted
made my love truly grow
but there was something that you did'nt know
that i had a free will, the same as you
and i knew just what to do.
i gathered my strength which
i had tucked inside
a strength which i knew to hide.
i broke those chains with which
you had me bound.
and turned my life completely around
the seed that you planted
had strengthened me,
to a point that i could see
that life with you would be misery.
so i leave you with a smile on my face
i walk away with dignity and grace.

I planted the seed in you and,
You failed to water it;
So, how can you hear the cry in me?
I planted the seed in your garden and,
You failed to water it;
So, how can you know the pain in me?
My life through the thickest fog,
And i am now around with the ruling elite;
For my DNA and my RNA are in you.
Bedroom blues,
And of the love that goes around your valley;
For you will see me agin when the right time comes.

The Lord's Harvest of Plenty
What a truly awesome thought indeed,
That throughout your day you live among seed.
Not the seeds that one would find in the ground,
These are not seen, but in the heart they are found.
These seeds are planted by the children of God,
As they simply follow the path The Savior has trod.
Your life as a Christian is not merely good deeds,
As your faithful witness could plant one of these seeds.
Or your life may be busy with a seed you don't know,
And your faithful witness is helping that little seed grow.
Planting and watering, as a Christian, is all we afford,
While all of the growth of that seed comes from the Lord.
After a little growth it is no longer a seed,
But a new vibrant Christian prepared for a deed.
The deed that has been prepared, I'm sure that you know,
Is to plant some new seed and to help water and help grow.
Once they have grown, they are cut with God's sickle of love,
And taken by The Lord to their Father's Home up above.
Whether the numbers are few or they are many,
You can be part of The Lord's Harvest of Plenty.

A Mothers Love
Never be judgmental
Never be full of greed
Always be humble
Always remember those in need
Give of yourself without expectations
Never do for others for self-gratification
Always be true to yourself and others
You will see life in beautiful colors
Life is a gift....never to be taken for granted
Seeds of life we all have planted
Of all the gifts we were given
The gift of Love is the greatest
Love is free
Love is to be given unconditionally
You have already planted your seeds
I watch as you blossom and bloom everyday
I love you more than words can say
Each of you are special in your own way
Never be judgmental
Never be full of greed
Always be humble
Always remember others in need

I Planted A Seed
I Planted A Seed
Written by: Wilfred Mellers, Monday, April 26,2010 @ 1: 22 AM
I planted seeds and watched them grow
Each day I fertilized, pesticide, and watered the seeds
Weeds couldn’t strangle my seeds I made sure
They flourished in fertile soil gaining strength by the day
I tended my garden daily without fail
At night I made sure comforted they were
Kept them safe from the elements to flourish
Strong they grew so proud I was of my seedlings
Exquisite blossoms grew from the seeds I sow
Blessed was I my garden full of life and magnificence
Gracious flowers from seeds bloomed respectfully there
Rare colors of light bloom in my plot
Flourished flowers came and went in seasons due
Now fully mature they need tending no more
Their colors now turn a pale winter blue
Scornful now my flowers turn a shadowy brown
Fields I no longer tend dry from disuse
Efforts made gallantly on unappreciative ears they are falling
Ostracized be by flowers lacking in devotion
Buds turned left the farmer to burn in summers heat
One seedling still cares and is always there
Never far fledged the one daffodil looms
In shadows bloomed now to a spectacular delight
In sorrowed fields once a daffodil is now in full bloom
In loving care suffered they not from abandonment
Tender the care giving for the farmer was driven
Success was a must for crooked the journey was laid
Apples of my eyes for I planted seeds and watch them grow

The Weed
There was an old woman
that planted a garden.
And in the garden
there grew a weed.
The weed grew next to
a beautiful flower.
The flower had grown
from a tiny seed.
The weed was strong
and would not bend.
The wind did blow
and it did send
the seeds from the flower
into the air.
They circled around
and landed where
the weed was growing
next to the flower.
Soon the weed was
surrounded by flowers.
It loved where it was
and looked by the hours
at all of the beautiful
colorful flowers.
The old woman who planted
the garden one day
decided that she would
make a bouquet.
She went to the garden
to cut the flowers.
But when she got there
down came the showers.
The raindrops that fell
made the weed shine
which made the old woman
change her mind.
She left them alone
in her garden and knew
that the weed belonged
with the flowers that grew.
She'd planted the flowers.
God planted the weed.
The garden was perfect.
No bouquet did she need.

United We Rise
Old man cried- let’s go fetch some water
grab a pail in each hand and let’s go.
Very far, to the pond in the holler,
then we’ll quench our thirst with that water!
Everyone today has forgotten
what it’s like to haul water in a pail.
Every farmer now has a pride,
that he has a watery pool, as well.
Oh City Riders! -You must have a green lawn
to keep it looking really good!
The water you waste on that green grass
could be used by the farmer to grow food.
Don’t waste all of that precious water.
We have worked too hard to harness here.
We can’t live without that precious water
let’s be thankful that it is so near.
Don’t be taking the water from the farmer
without it his crops will never grow.
All of life depends upon the water
Don’t take it for granted anymore.
You live on our labour on land,
Can’t you spare your comfort
With a pure and just thought
That’ll yield a greenery band.
The committee today we did shape
And resolved not to be parted with,
The little drops of water that came
From the earth beneath.
United we rise, Divided we fall,
Water- must we conserve
Before it is let go diverge
Lest anything may befall.
We vowed to rotation of crop
Mother earth can sleep quite,
And remain fertile and sharp
Keeping the rest happy and delight.
Revolutions after Revolutions
White, Blue and Green,
The Rainbow we started
Has garlanded all that’ll ever shine.

Seeds of Love
What seeds have I planted?
Sorrows have I watered?
What horrible things did I
Call to my mind and to my life
To the life of those around me
Because I did not understand
The destructive power of
Lack of self love.
It took many life events
Many generations
To create what we
Experience today.
And what if all the
Bad seeds
Negative thoughts
Sad feelings
Got washed away with love.
What if we all carried
The crosses of past generations
With our love and God's love.
How much better the future would be.
When we love ourselves
and all those around us.

The Task
all my life i searched for my true love
god chose you.
he knew that it would not take long
for our love to grow strong.
he knew that just like a fish needs water
and a flower needs rain.
you would be here to take away my pain.
he knew that you would melt my heart
and give love a brand new start.
so he gathered the stars from the skies
the brightness of a full moon.
the beauty of a cloudless sky
to love from here until i die.
and to complete his beautiful task
he showed us that a love could last.
by taking bits of your heart and not letting it tear apart.
but spread those bits far and wide
so that it could live until the end of time
he knew once the seed was planted
true love would be granted.

Life passes through, not being born.
The flowers think they gave birth to seeds,
The shoots, they gave birth to the flowers,
And the plants, they gave birth to the shoots,
So do the seeds they gave birth to plants.
You think you gave birth to the child.
None thinks they are only entrances
For the life force that passes through.
A life is not born, it passes through.

You Are The Mother Beneath Our Wings Dedicated to my mother who thought she had nothing to give-but gave the wisest things!
You are the mother beneath our wings, born into poverty brought us the
wealth of many kings, When you art young and don't have anything, you rely on
your Mother to give you everything, For a poor mother who had nothing you gave the
wisest things, You are the Mother beneath our wings.
Being poor was a rich experience for us and heartbreaking for you
You planted many seeds and nourished your ten kids needs
You gave us the wealth of may kings-coming from poverty taught us many things
The way you loved your life, being the kissin' bandit's wife
We were dirt poor, but it wasn't all bad
If material wealth as all we had-We wouldn't appreciate life and be thankful for what
we have. What you gave was unique, prized above material things
To each child special gifts you did bring
We were never too poor to give something-when you think you can't give nothing
You van give the wisest things-The love you gave will be treasured more than anything
When the trumpet blows and you rise up to meet your king
REMEMBER the lilies blooming in spring and that you gave your best in EVERYTHING!

A Modern Day Miracle
Where could you find an example
of true faith in the twentieth century?
‘Faith Like Potatoes’ to plant
in El Nino, in drought, in dust
a never grown before potato crop?
Angus Buchan, a farmer, in Durban
South Africa declared before 35,000
“To hell with El Nino! We are going
to plant this year! And we are going
to plant potatoes.” Fool or Man of Faith?
The Wisdom Of The Modern World
Scientists warned farmers not to plant!
“Do not plant this season unless
you have irrigation.” Angus had none!
Planting planting potatoes in dust
would be a massive massive risk!
It would require a miracle!
Did Angus expect a miracle?
Or was he an experienced potato farmer?
Angus was a maize and cattle farmer!
He had never grown potatoes!
No farmer could grow potatoes in drought!
Not in drought without irrigation!
But all farmers and men of faith
know a crop, a harvest is grown,
from a seed, a seed of planted faith.
Angus prayed and prayed
during the planting and he knew;
in his heart that the Lord;
wanted him to plant potatoes.
Angus expected a modern day miracle from God!
God has complained men lack faith!
To dream their dreams large enough!
Angus planted potatoes in dust on his farm in drought!
Without irrigation without water on his farm in faith!
Angus hired two extra farms, planted potatoes in their dust!
If the potato crop failed, Angus would loose everything!
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not yet seen.” Hebrews 11: 1.
Potatoes grow under the ground
and are not seen until the harvest!
Angus planted in faith; reaped a miracle of faith!
“because the righteous one will live by reason of faith.” Galatians 3: 11.
“The condition for a miracle is difficulty,
however the condition for a great miracle
is not difficulty, but impossibility.” Angus Buchan
“Seek and you shall find knock
and the door shall be opened to you.”

Labor For Eternity
How can you my friend not afford, to spend your time for The Lord?
He carves a niche for you and me, a niche secure through eternity.
You may have a niche on this earth, but does it have eternal worth?
Will all of your labor be in vain, when you reach that eternal plane?
When you help your fellow man, are you building on rock or sand?
The Rock you know is Jesus Christ, the sure foundation of New Life.
As the sands shift and change, only life in Christ remains the same.
As you live you can understand, life on earth is much like the sand.
What’s here today is gone tomorrow, causing many pain and sorrow.
Earthly endeavors are fleeting friend, as earthly ways come to an end.
Fix your eyes upon Christ my friend, and your time you’ll wisely spend.
By God time for all has been cast, only what’s done for Christ will last.
Together labor for Christ our Lord, and you will see an eternal reward.
As this earth is purged with fire, your reward is preserved much higher.
Build your future upon The Rock, and you shall receive eternal stock.
Stock with an eternal dividend, which found in Christ, shall never end.
You can help God sow some seed, just simply follow The Spirit’s lead.
Until all the seed planted is grown, water the seeds others have sown.
Serve The Lord bearing His Name, in the end you won’t be ashamed.
But, well done you will hear Him say, as you’re rewarded on that day.

I Planted A Hand
I planted a hand
And there came up a palm,
I planted a heart
And there came up balm.
Then I planted a wish,
But there sprang a thorn,
While heaven frowned with thunder
And earth sighed forlorn.

My Garden
I tilled my garden until my back did hurt
Then I planted the seeds into the earth
I covered them with the sweet, sweet dirt
Excitedly I will wait for their summer birth.
I will watch and feed them every single day
Row upon row as they are laid
I will protect them by keeping predators away
And I will remove the weeds that has strayed.
I will visit my plant's every morning when I awake
And I will stay with them till the time is late
Not any of my plant's could I ever forsake
They are part of me and they are my fate.
I gave them my sweat and I gave them life
Daily I will check their growth and enjoy their sight
They relieve my tension and help with my strife
When my day is done, to them I will say goodnight.

Dreams of Green, Can only keep Your Dreams Green!
Life is in seeds, who can say
plants are not intelligent,
They use many ways,
They use many animals and
birds,
Even water and air for their propagation,
Sensing the availability of
agency,
they dream and tune themselves,
Plan strategy to make use of
birds beasts and man.... They sow the seeds of dream in
the eyes of farmer,
They fill his eyes with dream of
every possible comforts,
Calling him to sow and nurture
them! Seeds carry dreams of plants
and carry dreams for farmer,
In his dream green waves sing a
song,
Dancing with nature's song,
In the golden crop farmer dreams of his golden dreams,
His breath, his love, his dreams
feed millions of stomach,
So that they are free to dream in
this dream world!
Just look at farmer's dreams, They never get wet,
They never get dry,
His evergreen dreams sustain the
world,
Never his dreams and the dreams
of plant allow dreams in you dry!

Higher Ground
This day you can have abundant life, through The Lord Jesus Christ,
As many men today have found, their feet planted on higher ground.
High above this earth that we trod, planted by the very Hand of God,
The ground, on which we stand, is the Eternal Rock, the Son of Man.
Guided with loving staff and rod, up to the Lord God’s heavenly sod.
Friend it was God who loved us first, and gave to us a second birth.
When found upon a fallen earth, God placed upon us special worth.
Living an abundant life of joy within, as Christ lifts us above old sin.
Christ will dwell in us down here, and in our heart He’s always near.
By His Grace God guides our steps, high above the valley’s depths.
A full earthly life is one thing friend, but how and where does it end?
Just Who or what sustains your life, if it’s not The Lord Jesus Christ?
And should you have a time of grief, where do you friend find relief?
For a sure place, there’s only one, that is God’s Only Begotten Son.
A stable land both now and when, the present one comes to an end.
Christ is the only stable ground, where a lasting peace can be found.
And it is not an earthly peace, and coming from God it will not cease.
All this is held together by The One, we all know as God’s Own Son.
And heights which we can ascend, in Christ Jesus will have no end,
While Eternal Life is our reward, for standing high in Christ our Lord.
