Just an Organ
It has been stated that the heart is just in organ.
But if it was just in organ why when a person falls in love they can feel that emotion in their heart.
If it was just an organ why when love is lost does the sadness that one feels seem to shatter the heart?
If the heart is just an organ why when a child wins a prize does a parent feel pride in their heart?
The heart is much more than just in organ it is the house of our emotions.
From the emotion of love, and sadness to the pride that swells in each of us.
The heart is not just an organ.

Violet The Organ Grinder
Chorus:
I am violet the organ grinder
And I grind all the live long day
I live for the organ, that I am grinding
Ill die, but I wont go away
I am violet the organ grinder
And I grind all the live long day
I live for the organ, that I am grinding
Ill die, but I wont go away
Ooh, wait a minute, I think u better trip on this
Ooh, wait a minute, I think u better trip on this
I was on my way to another room
When an image of u sweetly
Appeared in the mirror
Perhaps u recall
U and I were neatly
In the middle of a crystal ball
That now serves as a reminder
On the wall of u and I the organ grinder
In the greatest concert of them all
I am violet the organ grinder {chorus in the background}
And I grind all the live long day
I live for the organ, that I am grinding
Ill die, but I wont go away
Did u know that I still have your stockings?
I keep em in a drawer next to your brazier
Come hither, my sweet, lend me your attention,
Come hither lend my your ear
I do believe that my piano was stolen
I do believe that u want me near
Well I can deal with a sucker
If hes in your mouth,
But I cant deal with insincere
Im the one that lives in your heart
U love me, no matter what u say
Swear you dont miss the organ grinder
Grinding on you every day
I am violet the organ grinder (I am violet the organ grinder)
And I grind all the live long day (and I grind all the live long day)
(check this out)
Ooh, wait a minute, I think u better trip on this
I took all the pictures you gave me,
And I placed them right under my bed
And I pumped and I pumped
til the gasm much as jumped
From my feet to the top of my head, oh boy!
Im violet the organ grinder {chorus in the background}
And I grind all the live long day
I live for the organ, that I am grinding
Ill die, but I will not go away
Ooh, wait a minute, I think u better trip on this
Like a puppy, I licked your devotion
From your neck from your eyes from your ears
When you cry, I became your emotion,
And if u ever cry like that again
Ill be here
cause Im violet the organ grinder {chorus in the background}
And I grind all the live long day
I live for the organ, that Im grinding
Ill die, but I wont go away
Not even...
[peace to the mutha]
(who turned the mother out)
[peace to the mutha]
(who turned the mother out)
I am violet the organ grinder
And I grind all the live long day
I live for the organ, that I am grinding
Ill die, but I wont go away

A lot of places we go, when they see the organ coming in, they're expecting rock and roll, but after they hear us play they like it. To me, guitar cuts through-it carries more than organ. But organ has got more guts.

I played the organ when I went to military school, when I was 10. They had a huge organ, the second-largest pipe organ in New York State. I loved all the buttons and the gadgets. I've always been a gadget man.

Me & My Broken Heart
Writer - hank williams
(f) we were waiting at the (c) church,
We watched and saw the wedding (g7) start,
As the (f) organ played, we (c) stood there and prayed,
Just (g7) me and my broken (c) heart.
Oh, (g7) cant you see what you have (c) done, (c7)
To (f) me, oh foolish foolish (c) pride, (c7)
(f) you brought tears and sorrow (c) to,

(f) standin by anothers (c) side,

Belief of the Heart
The belief of the heart is extreme,
Inside one finds a mine of gold and silver;
The interior of your organ called the heart
Has a number of rooms to fill;
They are belief and reason,
Belief and reason are always in command
Just as the police ascertain your heart
And learn of the heat that your nature brings.
Hearts do ascertain themselves,
For they speak to yourself alone,
For they speak to the ways of your own,
Intrepid are the slight beats of some,
Intrepid are the mannerisms becoming.
You need a sound knowledge of this mighty organ
To believe in yourself, as much as nature allows.

By the degree of charm her countenance foretold
By the degree of charm her countenance foretold
The temperature of beauty, her womanly pride
As graceful as simple and as touching as cold
She seduced mine heart and my soul did abide
Her taste for passion, her loving tender caress
Which her essence withdrew and her heart absorb
Stealing my soul and my poetic finesse
Her sense organ attracted like a gravitating orb
My heart to her heart did my love bequeath
All my talent and genius on her beautiful beauty sweet
Perfectly blended with her sincere soul underneath
Where true love unites and true love meet
But no love for me, and all love to she
She did steal my love, my poetry, my heart sincerely

Music
Down the quiet eve,
Thro' my window with the sunset
Pipes to me a distant organ
Foolish ditties;
And, as when you change
Pictures in a magic lantern,
Books, beds, bottles, floor, and ceiling
Fade and vanish,
And I'm well once more . . .
August flares adust and torrid,
But my heart is full of April
Sap and sweetness.
In the quiet eve
I am loitering, longing, dreaming . . .
Dreaming, and a distant organ
Pipes me ditties.
I can see the shop,
I can smell the sprinkled pavement,
Where she serves-her chestnut chignon
Thrills my senses!
O, the sight and scent,
Wistful eve and perfumed pavement!
In the distance pipes an organ . . .
The sensation
Comes to me anew,
And my spirit for a moment
Thro' the music breathes the blessed
Airs of London.

My Loves
My heart loves me only,
Just keep ache in this special place.
No roses for me now,
Since the hearing is right.
Love forgotten, the massive organ
Is uniting us to a world of love or hate.
Shadows are heard, shining they are,
Like a black bee, only once we see.
Remember me when I laugh,
I am in a suffering too great.
This heart that is hidden
Designs my love of the world.

The Least That I Could Do?
What is love?
Do you know?
I would give you.
The blood of my blood.
The heart of my heart.
If I could physically die for you.
To make your life more peaceful.
I would do even that for you.
I would I could
so easily. So its so
easily to donate
an organ to you.
It’s the least that I could do.

Song In Spite Of Myself
Never love with all your heart,
It only ends in aching;
And bit by bit to the smallest part
That organ will be breaking.
Never love with all your mind,
It only ends in fretting;
In musing on sweet joys behind,
too poignant for forgetting.
Never love with all your soul,
for such there is no ending;
though a mind that frets may find control,
and a shattered heart find mending.
Give but a grain of the heart's rich seed,
Confine some undercover,
And when love goes, bid him God-speed,
and find another lover.

Shiela
When I played my penny whistle on the braes above Lochgyle
The heather bloomed about us, and we heard the peewit call;
As you bent above your knitting something fey was in your smile,
And fine and soft and slow the rain made silver on your shawl.
Your cheeks were pink like painted cheeks, your eyes a pansy blue . . .
My heart was in my playing, but my music was for you.
And now I play he organ in this lordly London town;
I play the lovely organ with a thousand folks in view.
They're wearing silk and satin, but I see a woolen gown,
And my heart's not in my music, for I'm thinking, lass, of you;
When you listened to a barefoot boy, who piped of ancient pain,
And your ragged shawl was pearly in the sweet, shy rain.
I'll play them mighty music - O I'll make them stamp and cheer;
I'll give the best that's in me, but I'll give it all for you.
I'll put my whole heart in it, for I feel that you are near,
Not yonder, sleeping always, where the peat is white with dew.
But I'll never live the rapture of the shepherd boy the while
I trilled for you my whistle on the braes above Lochgyle.

Just like me
im sitting here writing this crying
my soul inside me is dying
why oh why is it dying
i just felt sad all of a sudden
what is wrong with me i didnt feel this way earlier
this moring i was fine i felt the joy
but i sapose that now im a child without a toy
i dont know what brought it on tell me god why?
what is happening to me i feel alone
my heart isnt a organ it is a stone
it isnt envy or guilt or even love
no love that is a strange thing isnt it you can lose it so easy
but it wasnt any of those things at all
i just feel alone like i no longer have a home
each morning i feel like i slept on a floor
and each day i look up i am alone so i have to moan
im mean i think all of this is because of love
i mean have you ever been in love cause well i am
for you have you had a turtle dove
i bet for you it turned out good
then have our hearts broken
by the ones we love
so i wrote this because of my love this is a token
you can use this wisely and shape your life around it
and all though i told you your heart is still as cold as snow
for me you dont want to know
so i will search for someone else
someone else who is like my self

Cold is The Heart
Cold is the heart of the man who lets no one into his life.
Cold is the heart of the woman who has lost her love.
Cold is the heart of the girl who is better than everyone around her.
Cold is the heart of the man who fights only for himself.
Cold is the heart of the Teenager who needs and wants no one in his life.
Cold is the heart of the cocky young man.
Cold is the heart of the Criminal who is not forgiven for what he has done.
Cold is the heart of the Widow who is left alone in this world.
Cold is the heart of the woman angry at love.
Cold is the heart of the angry young man.
Cold is the heart of the one who does not laugh, and will not smile.
Cold is the heart of the woman who feels no love, and feels no pain.
Cold is the heart of the Businessman who claws his way to the top.
Cold is the heart of the child who feels left out while the others play.
Cold is the heart of the man who denies his emotions freedom.
Coldness in the heart is an absence of love.
It is the feeling of Loneliness,
The presence of Anger,
The lack of Respect,
And the loss of emotion.
It is found in the joyless,
In the emotionless,
And in the inhospitable.
It is a trait of the passionless,
Of the unconcerned,
Of the unsympathetic,
And in those who deny the truth.
But through love any heart can be warmed.

I am only responsible for my own heart, you offered yours up for the smashing, my darling. Only a fool would give out such a vital organ.
The Bells Of St. Marys
Writers: leo sayer & david courtney
He used to play mouth organ
In a folk club they called the lady jane
All the sounds as his friends and he would holler
Songs of love and songs of pain
There wasn't much that he could use his time for
So he used to practice everyday
And play the mouth organ the blues and hard luck
Someday soon i'm gonna break away
He used to listen to the bells of st marys
As they would echo through those early days
And sometimes even now he thinks that he still hears them
Although they're but a thousand miles away
And so he came into this crazy business
And do you know the stars all fell his way
And he became another rock and roll troubador
And threw the mouth organ far away
And so he listens to the bells of st marys
And so their echo haunts him every day
So clear that he could reach out and touch them
Although they're but a thousand miles away
Although they're but a thousand miles away

Singing
Of speckled eggs the birdie sings
And nests among the trees;
The sailor sings of ropes and things
In ships upon the seas.
The children sing in far Japan,
The children sing in Spain;
The organ with the organ man
Is singing in the rain.

Pleasant Heart
Hearts are a pleasure to behold,
The pumping of blood is enjoyed
By those with the life of this world,
A world so marked with peace.
May hearts proclaim their boldness,
Hearts speak inside the mind
And the soul lets go, letting
The heart be in its own cycle.
Shaking my heart, the frail body
Remarks on the fineness of this life;
It is the organ of life, and love,
And we secretly adore through the heart.

A fly in the ointment
She holds a toffee apple like a child
And he plays the mouth-organ mild.
They pass the time in the messy world
And they go on a ride in merry-go-round.
Though it’s bitter; Life is a carnival for them
And they make fun of showing realism.
Someone laughs at them who believes nihilism.
Sun & moon rise and set but never met in the sky of individualism.
He is alone like a featherless bird and very unhappy today
As it seems she flew to another cage secretly.
Now he feels the weight of life like mercury
And the mouth-organ plays the song of melancholy.
