z-All Things
I came upon a man
who had long strips
of human heart
and he was
sewing then back together
piece by piece.
Close by
his friend
was collecting tears in bottles
and each tear was being filtered
to be hurt-free.
Others there
were working with Betrayal Notes
and Dear John missives
re-writing them
to reduce the pain.
Self Flagellaters
and Cutters
were given new blood and
wounds sealed.
Family abusers were laid prone
in the hot sun and blood boils
were lanced to their screams.
There was howling from two-timers
and mistresses; ,
killers
and politicians.
A 50 foot cauldron
was tipped
and they were added for seasoning;
the man then turned the heat up.
The two Agonies
clutched each others throat
and squeezed.
Blame was there
Blaming all
and Masochists agreed,
taking credit for all things bad
just for the attention.
There were Fallen Preachers
and Sinning Saints
run-aways
and the lost;
the homeless
the listless
the vacant
and the dying
the misbegotten
the soulless screamers
the babies
and the children;
the mangled war heroes
the Clinging Past
the Scary Future
the Unbearable Present;
the countless hordes
all lined up for their particular treatments.
I could not believe my eyes.
I asked no one in particular
where am I and who are you?
We are Time one said
where bad things get healed.
We are Retribution and Justice
Karma and Forgiveance
Kindnesses Revisited.
We all exist on the Non-Human plane
the Hidden Unseen-
which rights all wrong things
'In Time' one man said.

A time to bury sorrow
A time for you and a time for me,
to be whatever, we choose to be;
to set our sights, to reach the peak,
to realize goals, we truly seek.
A time to dwell. on things long past,
a time to think, on things that last;
on family, friends and things that matter,
on things that endure and do not scattter.
A time to laugh and a time to weep,
a time for treasured things to keep;
a time for reflection on how we feel,
a time to mend and a time to heal.
A time to live and a time to die,
a time for joy and a time to cry;
a time to smile and a time for tears,
a time for God to calm our fears.
A time to despose of loved ones dead,
A time to get on with the day ahead;
To blot out death and face the 'morrow,
To clear the mind and bury sorrow.

Seeing Things
I find it hard to shed a tear
You brought it all on yourself my dear
Wrong, yes I may be
Dont leave a light on for me
cause I aint comin home
It hurts me baby to be alone
Yes, it hurts me baby
A hundred years will never ease
Hearing things I wont believe
I saw it with my own two eyes
All the pain that I cant hide
And this pain starts in my heart
And this love tears us apart
You wont find me bent down on my knees
Aint bendin over backwards baby
Not to please
cause Im seeing things for the first time
Im seeing things for the first time, oh yeah
Im seeing things for the first time
In my life, in my life
I used to dream
Of better days that never came
Sorry aint nothin to me
Im gone and thats the way it must be
So please Ive done my time
Lovin you is such a crime
You wont fine me down on, on my knees
Wont fine me over backwards baby
Just to please
cause Im seeing things for the first time
Im seeing things for the first time
Seeing things for the first time
Oh Im seeing things for the first time
Yeah, seeing things for the first time
Im seeing things for the first time
Yeah, Im seeing things for the first time
In my life, in my life

Something New
things are meant not to last
there is always the right time for them to break
into pieces and no matter how we piece them together
they still shatter
like telling you that they are meant to go, to be broken, to be thrown away
a lap top has a time frame of its own
the virus come in waiting and then all of its essence is gone
you weep for things?
don't. They do not weep for you. You are sad when they break? Don't
They don't feel anything at all for you.
a car for twelve years is not your car anymore
the chassis simply take in rust and some wires get meshed up
with tantrums and like nerves they too go awry and die
malfunction so to say from the language of things and tools
now, we see each other. I am human. I am not a piece, a thing.
I am not a car. I am not a lap top with a time frame
for its breaking
a time for throwing and trading-in
a time simply for replacing
Look at me. I have tears. My skin bleeds when you hurt me.
My heart beats faster when you kiss me.
As we throw away what we do not need now
After all the years of keeping, we reflect.
I have this heart that beats for you. I have time outside the frame
of utility. We grow. We commit. We savor. We are present.
For twelve years now, You will always be someone new.
Let the sun shine. Let the heart beat for a new meaning. Love.

These things say she
Who holds the gift of life
Who walks along a hard road
As time hold no means for at dusk
The word of truth takes hold
Who children shall over write one future
Children intertwine with the elements of
Past and future
Cannot control the fate they flee
One by one
Oldest to youngest
Destiny shall claim them
In the Corse of time
Past and present shall clash
Fear and lost hold new means
For these children question shall be asked
Children lost
But this prophecy, is not that of hope and love
It is that of pain
For pain is life without pain there is no mercy
Yes, these children
Yes, this prophecy is not that of hope and love
But that of the way of life
For each child that screams out in pain
Another screams out with laughter
Yes, it is cruel
For this is the way balance of time is uphold

Pain (lyrics)
Regret sits heavy in your chest until sometimes it gets so hard to breathe
Sometimes it just wont go away and you start to feel you will never be
And when you think back on those times it seems so close just beyond your reach
Until past vanishes like smoke from a cigarette in the night breeze
Please stop this pain
Hurt for so long
Pain
Hurt for so long
I've felt this way for so long
How is it that things turn out this way?
What you hold most dear has come and gone
Seems the time that everything was right
Now it just feels wrong, oh so wrong
And your still dreaming of the time
When the day will come, it was meant to be
And your still dreaming of the way
To reach that place that you've never been
Please stop this pain
Hurt for so long
Pain
Hurt for so long
I've felt this way for so long
Pain
Hurt for so long
Pain
Hurt for so long
Pain
Hurt for so long
Pain
Hurt for so long
I've felt this way for so long

Time & Tears
I didnt cry all of these tears just to have you show up here again
I didnt lie awake all these nights to have you come walking back in
I didnt change my whole life around, not to mention my dreams and my plans
To have you come back with your same ol act thinking that Ill understand
Time and tears have mended the pain
Healed all the hurt and changed everything
Time and tears Im happy to say
Time and tears have washed it away
Time and tears have washed you away
I didnt think that I would survive the day that you walked out on me
I truly was more dead than alive; and the pain, lord I couldnt believe
I asked God to please have mercy on me and to ease all the feelings I felt
Then I saw the light, now Im more than alright;
Im much better off since you left
Time and tears have mended the pain
Healed all the hurt and changed everything
Time and tears have carried me through
Time and tears got me over you
Time and tears and somebody new
Time and tears is all that it takes
To mend shattered hopes or a heart when it breaks
Time and tears have carried me through
Time and tears got me over you
Time and tears and somebody new
Time and tears, time and tears got me over you
Time and tears, got me over you

Until you heal the wounds of your past, You will continue to bleed into the future,
Until you heal the wounds of your past,
You will continue to bleed into the future,
One can own ones past, but you can heal,
Move on I was told, by a human heart, mine,
A statement I read,
'Until you heal the wounds of your past, you will continue to bleed into the future.'
Gave me the the words,
I now own my future,
My human heart told me, it is time,
I own my past,
Now the past is misplaced,
It will rear it's ugly head, from time to time,
But the future is mine to keep,
Beyond all past examples, the future is mine,
Not knowing the future is exciting,
But it's mine to dream.

Sonnet: Just Correct Yourself
Don’t blame the door for creakiness when old;
Don’t blame the oven for burnt cakes it bakes;
Don’t blame the seller of the things bought/sold;
Don’t blame the cot for squeaky noise, it makes.
Don’t blame the stars or dates or time of year;
Don’t blame the pen for writing bad verses;
Don’t blame the pedestrian, stone-deaf by ear;
Don’t blame the voters for your reverses.
For, failures could be pre-destined by God,
Or they could happen on account of us;
Our human reasoning can’t explain things odd;
Why blame the cyclist hit by our ‘spare-bus’.
Set-backs will come in all the things we do;
But they should never serve to perturb you.

Vampyres
there are things you don't know about
things that go unseen
things that chill our very soul
things that muffle our screams
there are things that hide behind us
things that feed on flesh
things that try to find you
things that don't need rest........
the night may hide
what need not be seen
forgotten by the sun
only remembered in dreams
lovely killers....
stalkers of the night
children of darkness
fearing the light.

Crooked Piece Of Time
Things got rough
Things got tough
Things got harder than hard
We were just trying to make a livin
In our back yard
We were born too late died to soon
Anxietys a terrible crime
If you dont come now dont come at all
cause its a crooked piece of time.
Its a crooked piece of time that we live in
A crooked piece of time
All in all and all in all
Its a crooked piece of time.
Yesterday morning an ill wind came
Blew your picture
Right out of the picture frame
Even blew the candle out
From underneath the flame
Yesterday morning an ill wind came.

A Piece Of You
Im just trying to live this life of mine
The more I look, the more Im blind
And all I ask for is piece of mind
And all I want is a piece of you
Well I lost my way today
Back home from work
The snow fell like dust
I felt like dirt
Happens everytime I start to search
For that long lost piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you
It seems the last time I was sure
Of anything
I sold my heart
I wore your ring
But now, the queen has lost her king
All I want is a piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you

Needing Details And Specifics
Please don't say you understand,
Because you couldn't.
And I know you don't.
Please don't say you've got my back,
When most of the time...
I don't know where you are at.
When I decided to heal and cure,
From my own hidden agonies...
Knowing they were mine alone,
It was as if folks I had not seen...
Most of my life,
Appeared from nowhere wanting to assist.
I felt something very wrong with this.
And I could not imagine how.
Or why 'now'?
I felt preyed upon by those ready to leech.
Those who saw me again healthy.
And wanted to see,
How quickly they could weaken me.
I don't have to hear people are evil.
Countless are my personal experiences.
When I decided to heal and cure,
From my own hidden agonies...
Nowhere in between my decision to do that,
And my healing process...
Were you seen.
Why didn't you return my calls?
AND you say you understand?
Please don't say you understand,
Because you couldn't.
And I know you don't.
Please don't say you've got my back,
When most of the time...
I don't know where you are at.
And please don't ask what it is you can do for me.
When the only thing I know you can do,
Since you have proven you can do this well...
You are not dependable or accountable for your actions.
And when you are available...
You have said to me you had nothing else to do!
And if I may...
I am going to 'assume' you have nothing else to do?
Well...
I have many things to do.
And one of them is not going to be accessible,
To people like you skilled in playing the role of deceiver.
I've seen that performance too much with a waste of my time.
Please don't say you understand,
Because you couldn't.
And I know you don't.
Please don't say you've got my back,
When most of the time...
I don't know where you are at.
But this is guaranteed?
I know you will not be here and around me.
And THAT I hope is understood,
Without you needing details and specifics.
Please don't say you understand,
Because you couldn't.
And I know you don't.
So never say it again.

Slow Down
Chorus:
I said slow down--
Slow down and live, my friend
Take time--take time to understand
The things--the things you hope to win
Before--before your journeys end
Slow down--slow down and try to do
The things--the things thats right for you
You know--you know
The soul--the soul
You save could be your own
Albert abernathy never spent a foolish dime
Rising at the crack of dawn and working overtime
You know, he never told me how much happiness he found
Yesterday we laid him in the finest grave in town.
Chorus:
I said slow down--
Slow down and live, my friend
Take time--take time to understand
The things--the things you hope to win
Before--before your journeys end.
Slow down--slow down and try to do
The things--the things thats right for you
You know--you know
The soul--the soul
You save could be your own.
Little sally tremble is a music city queen
You can see her picture now on every magazine
Sallys come a long way from the life she left behind
Shes had six gold records and been married seven times!
Chorus:
I said slow down--slow down and live my friend
Take time--take time to understand
The things--the things you hope to win
Before--before your journeys end
Slow down--slow down and try to do
The things--the things thats right for you
You know--you know
The soul--the soul
You save could be your own.

Dying Soldier
I taste blood.
I am dying.
I see things more clearly now.
I feel the broken bones
Within my exhausted sack of a body
And I know
I am dying.
I see the doctors come to examine me.
I know there is nothing they can do.
Too many bullet wounds.
So much blood has gone.
The nurses look at me
With pity and pain.
I cry, silently, at night
Taste the saltiness of my tears,
Hear the screams of the madmen some of us have become.
We will never be whole again.
I turn away from everything.
The drugs make me drowsy, but don't make me forget.
I'd have nightmares in my sleep.
Put me in a drug induced coma
Inside I would still weep.
I know I am dying.
My parents will be given a medal
At my funeral.
Another son of the country dies
Honorably
At battle.
I taste blood, I feel the pain
In my exhaustion I see things clearly.
I am dying.

But A Mist
Our life on earth is but a mist, no matter how long that list,
Of those things in the past, of achievements we amassed,
Or those things we want to do, before time here is through,
For we are simply a vapor here, with that end drawing near.
Years of three score and ten, a time decreed for most men,
With good health, maybe more, no man can be totally sure,
Or one could have a shorter end, to the life they have friend,
Short or long, our life will be, a small blip in light of Eternity.
All the things that we’ve done, are fading like the setting sun,
Maybe, still a memory in our mind, but, they’ll be left behind,
The distant memories in our heart, many gone, as we depart,
From this earth and the past; a time for all that shall not last.
Of the present, we don’t know, how much we have yet to go,
Or what could change friend, to alter present time we spend,
Pursuing all wants and needs, uncertain where a future leads,
And death is as sure as birth, for all one day leave this earth.
All our lists, present or past, apart from God shall never last,
But all done for Christ shall be, transferred over into Eternity,
When life’s mist is over and done; in eternity with God’s Son,
Where these mists will endure, with Jesus Christ forevermore.

A Friend And A Best Friend
Sorry for the stupid things that I have said
A best friend will always know the right things to say to you
Sorry for not listening more instead
A best friend will always listen to you
Sorry for the hurt I may have caused to your heart
A best friend will always get rid of your pain for you
Sorry for the times I had to depart
A best friend will always finish what they have started with you
Sorry for not always being tough
A best friend will always be strong for you
Sorry for not apologizing enough
A best friend will always accept an apology from you
Sorry for the times that you were ignored
A best friend will always have time for you
Sorry for not saying thank you more
A best friend will always find time to thank you for being you
Sorry for not being a better friend
A best friend will always be there for you
Sorry for all the loose ends
A best friend will always find time to fulfill these things for you

Time O' Clock
Takes your life upbeat like roller costar rides
Makes your life offbeat like waves and tides
Time gives you seasons of cheers and joyfulness
Time gives you reasons for tears and sorrowfulness
You see darkness around; time shows you the ray of hope
You see yourself break down; time helps you to cope
Brightest of days you will see; the darkest of nights you will witness
With time you will swallow failures and you will taste success
Time teaches you the principles and philosophies of life
Time teaches you to play with a toy as well as a knife
Time eases all the things and lets all the wounds heal
With time things conceal themselves, with time things reveal
As you will grow, time will unfold the colors of relations
As time will grow, you will unfurl your own perceptions
For everything that has to happen, time is pre set
Things ensue only at the set time, neither early nor late
To perceive the time game, arm poise and patience
To embark upon the mighty time, attest insistence
Time is what we all want the most
Time is what we all tend to use the worst
Time is the most incalculable thing that can ever be spent
If you lose time, you will be left, only to repent
Punctuality is the bandit of time whether pain or gain
Strike at the right time coz lost time is never found again

Catch 22 Paradox Jig Squeezes Break Up Minds
All they need is time time time to think think things over
unfortunately time in abundance does not heal all wounds...
unfortunately time does not heal heart split nasty wounds
they wanted to be left alone after their failure with an ex
then he/she met another whom he/she didn't want...
to miss a chance a change at playing raw rebound roulette?
What essential problem is barrier he/she faces is facing for so long?
He/she wants to be free yet to belong to someone in same instant?
Catch 22 paradox jigsaw squeezes his/her energy in yes no conflict?

Would u go back in time
Would you go back and relive painful times?
Would you go back when times weren't in line?
The hurt and pain of death?
The happy time when you first got your pet?
Would you go back when nothing went together,
Nothing rhymed, and nothing was forever?
Going back in time would unbury hurtful things.
Going back in time would show your success was once a dream.
Would you go back to say 'Good-bye'?
Would you go back to say 'Hi'?
Do you believe by going back things would be better?
Do you think you can go back and destroy hurtful letters?
The past should be left in the past and sometimes forgotten,
and the future may become even more shocking.
