When We Dance
When we dance
I take your hand
and dizzy you round-
your eyes flash by-
each twirl a twinkle light,
now here
then round
and twinkle again.
When we dance
my hand settles round
the neck's nape
and gentle falls
to your shoulder blades
meandering then
to the magic
spot
in the small of your back,
where time stops
from that simple touch
and your twirl
ends
when your bosom breasts
make their touch;
my chest
heaves
like an ocean wave
which first retreats
then comes crashing back
upon your soft shore.
You breathe
lifting me it seems
with the shear
heat
your breathing brings.
When we dance
there is
too, too
much
to miss;
we do
it over
and over
again.
My leg
entwines
yours
for luck.

Sweethearts Dance
(doug gill)
Sweethearts dance, thats what we do
The two heart two-step baby, thats me and you
Sweethearts dance round and round
Make out in the corner
Lovers quarrel, sweethearts dance
Sometimes babe I hate you cause my loves so strong
And then you make me feel so right
I think it must be wrong
You move me, you move me
This love dont make no sense
We make each other crazy baby
And dance the sweethearts dance
Sweethearts dance, thats what we do
The two heart two-step baby, thats me and you
Sweethearts dance round and round
Make out in the corner
Lovers quarrel, sweethearts dance
Love sets us in motion and gets down around our feet
Were living to the rhythm of our hearts together beating
I love you, I love you, let me whisper in your ear
Let me kiss you on the shoulder honey
Let me hold you near
Sweethearts dance, thats what we do
The two heart two-step baby, thats me and you
Sweethearts dance round and round
Make out in the corner
Lovers quarrel, sweethearts dance
Got your hand in my back pocket
Got your eyes all off in space
How bout we just get out of here
And find a quiet place
Sweethearts dance, thats what we do
The two heart two-step baby, thats me and you
Sweethearts dance round and round
Make out in the corner
Lovers quarrel, sweethearts dance
Make each other crazy
Dance the sweethearts dance

Embraced
My eyes devoured her
took her hungrily;
she watched;
watching me wanting her
in that instant where
time dances slowly,
where breathing
rises like an ocean wave
and then comes
crashing
upon the Soul's Shore;
jets of emotional eddies
swirling.
Her chest fills with air;
her breasts
reach out, expanding
toward me
where my eyes
meet hers;
two surges merge;
her breasts
meet my chest
mingling
long repressed
Furtive Desire
and Urgent Opportunity.
I move beside her
but still within vision.
She stands stock still
her profile in my eyes
rises and falls
on an ocean of Flailing Anticipation;
lunging, cresting
and finally crashing
on that quivering shore
where the Soul's Soul lives;
for we are beyond Soul itself
to the Spiritual.
She invited my look
drinking in my steady gaze;
still as a twilight's
summer stars.
I moved again
outside her vision
behind her,
her back a creamy canvass
awaiting the artists brush-
my finger-tip-
on skin blushed;
with butterfly warm breaths-
lips- settling on her neck
pulsating
volcano-hot.
My Heart-
first a suitor-
is now a slave;
backhand tracing
across spaghetti strap
lined shoulders;
she
moves backward
against my bare chest
nestling there
for the Soul-Fit;
reaching back
we finger-tip to finger-tip
touch the touch which satisfies,
All Longing.
With one hand
behind and below
she makes contact
with my Sincerity
and I am hers forever.
We move in this dance
in this
our first
full-throated
embrace;
transformed.
All gravity evaporates
in the melting light
and joined
we surge
into the Intimacy
Transfixed.

Dance Naked
I want you to dance naked
So I can see you
Id like to get to know you
You dont have to act naughty
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
I want you to dance naked
I promise I wont touch you
I promise to tell no one, no
I want you to dance naked
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
Spin it round and round
I want you to dance naked
If you like ill join you
I want to enjoy your body
I want to hear all your secrets
I want to know if you like me
As much as I like you
I want you to dance naked
But only if you want to
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
Spin it round and round
I want you to dance naked
So I can see you
Id like to get to know you
But only if you want to
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
Spin it round and round
Spin it round and round and round
I want you to dance naked

Let’s Dance
Let me take you by the hand
And lead you to the dance floor
Once more
Let’s embrace to the rhythm
Sway to the melody
And let the music set us free
Set us free
Let me take you by the hand
And spin you round and round
Let’s get lost in the mystery of the sound
So let’s dance
If we ever get the chance
Let’s dance
Whatever the circumstance
Let’s dance
It’s the formula for romance
Let’s dance
So take my hand and get up on your feet
Wrap your arms around me and feel the heat
Our hearts are pounding to the loud drum beat
Let’s make this night of love complete
So let’s dance
If we ever get the chance
Let’s dance
Whatever the circumstance
Let’s dance
It’s the formula to romance
Let’s dance

Leather and Silk
It was a dance
at least I think it was
the silk scarf
drawn across her face
til only her eyes were revealed
having in them that playful gleam
only love play brings.
She took the scarf
allowing it to play
across her hips
which moved unseen behind the silk
making the scarf move
buffed by unseen promises..
It slithered up between her breasts
languishing upon her shoulders bare
then suddenly twirling
about her head
her laughing
a crystal laugh
spinning
round
wrapping her self in the silken wave
a twirling dervish
of light and perfume.
I rise
my back straight
fixing her gaze
advancing
hypnotized by her eyes
fixing me
capturing me
inside her now close breath
exhaling;
scarf thin is the space
between
and we both breathe shared air
inhale and exhaled waves
mutually taken in;
we both now light of head
with heat
and intoxicating oxygens
diving deep with
lung cavities
where they dance and swirl
exhale
and set themselves to receive
new incoming
exhilarations.
The eyes now closed
the scarf comes up again
circling my neck;
she taking both ends
drawing me close
eyes never leaving mine
frozen time
her body
was now my body
and I hers.
We two
now at short scarf length
twirl
my belt
now in play
encircling her neck;
my leather;
her silk;
joined
as our hearts play.

Ballet Lovers
Baby my
Baby. my arms
reach out to you
and enfold;
Baby I
sink into those hesitant eyes;
Baby I
feel you close
as music allows
hand in the small of your back
dizzy twirl
and then return close
short breath taken
eyes twinkle.
Baby I
feel
your thigh
rise up mine
the rustle
of your Tutu
offers too
it's caress.
Baby I
move
in dream time
and I
feel your body
offering
subtle
as your smile;
your leg
brushes up
seeking.
Baby I
move away
but too befeft
come back again
lonely like it was an eon;
and your thigh rises
having its own mind
and I complement swollen.
Baby I
dance with you
and all
flies away
as you
brush sideways
against me
exercising hidden lovers tricks
on the dance floor
and then for the lift;
I put my hand
just inside your throbbing thigh
and you rise
angel-like
on high
to fly
landing just so
deep inside my heart.

Dance dance dance
Dance in the moon light with,
All the stars in sight
Dance to the smiles
Dance in the shadows my love
Dance dance dance.
You may think I'm crazy
I'd dance in the moonlight
I'll dance when I want to
Please let me dance
Dance dance dance
Dancer take my hand to your,
Hand
I need to dance
Close your blue eyes,
Hold me in your arms and,
Dance dance dance.

After six hours of school I've had enough for the day
I hit the radio dial and turn it up all the way
I gotta dance (dance dance dance now the beat's really hot) right on the spot
(Dance dance dance right there on the spot)
The beat's really hot
(Dance dance dance now the beat's really hot)
Dance (dance) dance (dance) dance (dance) yeah!
When I feel put down I try to shake it off quick
With my guy by my side the radio does the trick
I wanna dance (dance dance dance now the beat's really hot) right on the spot
(Dance dance dance right there on the spot)
The beat's really hot
(Dance dance dance now the beat's really hot)
Dance (dance) dance (dance) dance (dance) yeah!
At a weekend dance we like to show up late
I play it cool when it's slow and jump it when it's fast
I gotta dance (dance dance dance now the beat's really hot) right on the spot
(Dance dance dance right there on the spot)
The beat's really hot
(Dance dance dance now the beat's really hot)
Dance (dance) dance (dance) dance (dance) yeah!

I Just Wanna Dance With You
I don't want to be the kind to hesitate
Be too shy
Wait too late
I don't care what they say other lovers do
I just wanna dance with you
I got a feeling that you have a heart like mine
So let it show
Let it shine
If we have a chance to make one heart of two
Then I just wanna dance with you
I wanna dance with you
Twirl you all around the floor
That's what they intended dancing for
I just wanna dance with you
I wanna dance with you
Hold you in my arms once more
That's what they invented dancing for
I just wanna dance with you
I caught you lookin' at me
When I looked at you
Yes I did
Ain't that true
You won't get embarrassed by the things I do
I just wanna dance with you
Oh the boys are playing softly
And the girls are too
So am I and so are you
If this was a movie we'd be right on cue
I just wanna dance with you
I wanna dance with you
Twirl you all around the floor
That's what they intended dancing for
I just wanna dance with you
I wanna dance with you
Hold you in my arms once more
That's what they invented dancing for
I just wanna dance with you
(break)
I wanna dance with you
Twirl you all around the floor

Dance Into My Life
Dance into my life, only for a while
Whirl me round and round
Dance me like an angel child
Hes passing through my world
He doesnt even know
Times not on my side
No word or goodbye, Ill go
So dance on, right now I want to dance on
Until the moments over
And Ill be going home
(Ill be going home)
Just dance on, right now
I want to dance on
I cant let him notice the tears in my eyes
In my eyes, in my eyes
Dance into my life
Hold the moment fast
Make believe in us
Nothing real in life can last dance within my life
Dance me to the door
I cant see the time, but the time has come for sure
So dance on, right now I want to dance on
Until the moments over
And Ill be going home
(Ill be going home)
Just dance on, right now
I want to dance on
I cant let him notice the tears in my eyes
In my eyes, in my eyes
Dance with me, dance with me
Wont you dance with me
Dance with me, dance with me
Wont you dance with me
So dance on, right now
I want to dance on
Until the moments over
And Ill be going home
(Ill be going home)

As I Dance
As i dance the world in nothing but
a burr of color
when i dance i'm in total bliss
while i dance my mind only thinks of you
when we dance i feel the warmth feel my heart
butterflies dance in my stomach as we dance
twirl around and round but when
we stop the feeling don't
as i look at your face everyday
i see the world as a blur of color
and you are my bliss
i want to dance with you the rest
of my life

Twinkle
Twinkle twinkle little star
How did you ever get so far
From where I thought that you would be?
Shining with joy, ever so brilliantly
Don’t ever fall from grace
Because I would only wish you back
Right back to your rightful place
Twinkle twinkle little star
I most certainly know who you are
And just who you might be
But for now I admire how you shine so brightly
Because I cannot touch you
For it is just not the time
So I reach out instead in this childish rhyme
Twinkle twinkle, my shooting star
Sear me with your heat, leave a scar
So that if you should disappear
I would always remember that I once had you here
In the palm of my hand
But your warmth is too much to bear
That’s why its from afar I stand
Twinkle twinkle my little star
Esta estrella que no deseo apagar
Because you must shine in spite of yourself
Vibrantly shimmering despite what’s left
No matter if this star I ever attain
I will forever cherish its presence
Because from it something I gained
Twinkle twinkle my precious star
I’m so glad I know just who you are
Up above my world so high
More beautiful than a diamond caught in the sky
Twinkle twinkle little star
Oh how I love just who you are

Everybody Dance (The Dance Of The Dead)
As the sun sinks upon the horizon,
As the dark night creeps in,
The dead dance.
On the streets they roam,
Silent,
Alone.
Everybody dances,
The saints and the sinners,
Everybody dances,
To the sound of the rhythm,
Everybody dances,
The dance of the dead.
The dance of the dead goes on,
And on,
Never stops,
Never slows,
Time does not matter to the dead.
Everybody dances,
The poor and the rich,
Everybody dances,
To the cries to the babies,
Everybody dances,
The dance of the dead.
As your time goes up,
The dead dance into your room,
Filled with silent movements,
They twirl with grace,
And style
And ease.
They reach out their hands,
And you take it,
And join the dance of the dead.
Everybody dance,
The young and the old,
Everybody dance,
The music is playing,
Everybody dance,
To the dance of the dead.
C’mon,
Everybody dance,
Soldiers and lovers,
Oh,
Everybody dance,
To sound they cry,
So,
Everybody dance,
To the dance of the dead,
The dance of the dead.
Oh,
Everybody dances,
Because the dance never stops.

Twinkle Toes
Written by roy orbison/bill dees
Hey boys, gather round boys, the money's right
Go down to low town for me tonight
Walk onto forty four and knockon that big black door
Lay some money on that man
And get the very best table you can
Well, there's a soul band's wailing behind the beat,
And they cook when the blue lights spin.
There's a go-go girl yeah,
She works it out,now.
Look when you walk in,
Yeah, yeah, yeah,yeah.everybody knows
To see her dance,now,my twinkletoes.
Well the people put my good baby down
Cos she comes from across the track
But twinkle toes and i got a good thing
And we don't look back
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
That's twinkle toes
Ah yeah my baby
My twinkle toes
Twinkle toes is dancing 'cos she's lonely
The world may take me very far away
Twinkle toes, she knows i love her only
But give her lovely times some lovely day
Hey-hey-hey, hey-hey-hey
Tell twinkle toes that i love her
But i've got a train that just won't wait
Tell twinkle toes i'm dreaming of her
I've tried to get by but it's too late, too late
Well i'm gone now boys and do have a good time
But don't forget me
If she thought i left without goodbye
I'd die in misery
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
She's twinkle toes
Tell her i love her
My twinkle toes
Yeah, twinkle toes,
Dance on and on girl.
I got...
You know i want you
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Well twinkletoes you know i love you
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Baby doll yeah, keep on dancing
Yeah, yeah, yeah,yeah
My twinkle toes...

Age Of Consent
I want to meet you at that restaurant
The one you love its got a pretty front
What a front
The girls are holding hands
Its a treat to indulge
Or we can sit awhile and look around
Look around, round round
Look around, round round
This is the age of consent
You dont have to be coy
This is your own pleasure bent
We are here to enjoy everything
Everything that the traffic allows
We touch each other then we sip the wine
We smile and nod together, this is fine, its so fine
Come on in the waters fine
We can jump right in
Or we can look around and bide our time
Look around, round round
Look around, round round
This is the age of consent
But you dont need to shout
This is your own pleasure bent
We are here to enjoy everything
Im not holding you back heavens sake
Have you got to jump out of the cake
I dont want your endeavours to fail
But that pouch has got a sting in the tail
Sting in the tail
This little place has got me in a trance
Were getting closer but its just a dance, just a dance
The band wont make a sound
We can warm it up
Or we can hold it back and look around
Look around, round round
Look around, round round
This is the age of consent
But you dont need to shout
This is your own pleasure bent
We are here to enjoy everything
Everything can be yours, but dont shout....

Twist
Ice and a twist
And a cigarette
Starts a night I won't forget
Drinks and a dance and a word or two
Share the time with someone new
Twist
Twist
You're locked in your land
On a private jet
The devil is at work out there
Tell me the time
On the altitude
I'm racing now I'm in the mood
You're the kind that's always
Gotta round the red lights
Too much is not enough for you
You bet your life on strangle
Lend them maybe black jack
I'm playing my cards so are you through?
Just wanna dance all night
I'm feeling all right
The music's out of sight
If you tell me what you like
Just wanna dance all night
And touch your body right
The music's out of sight
And we can bump into the light
Dice and a dessert is where we are
Babies could make you a star
Hope and despair
Come back each tear
Elvis is in town all year
You're the kind that's always
Gotta round the red lights (Oh yeah)
Too much is not enough for you
You bet your life on strangle
Lend them maybe black jack
I'm playing my cards so are you through?
Just wanna dance all night
I'm feeling all right
The music's out of sight
If you tell me what you like
Just wanna dance all night
And touch your body right
The music's out of sight
And we can bump into the light
Just wanna dance all night with you
The music's out of sight that's true
Just wanna dance all night with you
The music's out of sight that's true
Just wanna dance all night
(Just wanna dance all night with you)
I'm feeling all right
The music's out of sight
If you tell me what you like
Just wanna dance all night
(Just wanna dance all night with you)
And touch your body right
The music's out of sight
And we can bump into the light
Twist
Just wanna dance all night
Just wanna dance all night
(Do you wanna twist)
Just wanna dance all night with you
The music's out of sight that's true

Just wanna dance all night with you
The music's out of sight that's true

All She Wants To Do Is Dance
Theyre pickin up the prisoners and puttin
em in the pen
And all she wants to do is dance, dance
Rebels been rebels since I dont know when
And all she wants to do is dance
Molotov cocktail-the local drink
And all she wants to do is dance, dance
They mix em up right in the kitchen sink
And all she wants to do is dance
Crazy people walkin round
With blood in their eyes
And all she wants to do is dance, dance
Wild-eyed pistol wavers
Who aint afraid to die
And all she wants to do is-
And all she wants to do is dance
And make romance
She cant feel the heat comin off the street
She wants to party
She wants to get down
And all she wants to do is-
And all she wants to do is dance
Well, the government bugged the mens
Room in the local disco lounge
And all she wants to do is dance, dance
To keep the boys from sellin
All the weapons they could scrounge
And all she wants to do is dance
But that dont keep the boys
From makin a buck or two
And all she wants to do is dance, dance
They still can sell the army
All the drugs that they can do
And all she wants to do is-
And all she wants to do is dance
And make romance
Well, we barely made the airport
For the last plane out
As we taxied down the runway
I could hear the people shout
They said, dont come back here yankee!
But if I ever do-
Ill bring more money
cause all she wants to do is dance
And make romance
Never mind the hear comin off the street
She wants to party
She wants to get down
All she wants to do is-
All she wants to do is dance
All she wants to do is dance
And make romance
All she wants to do is dance
