Twos and Threes
Relationships live or die
from the Threes and Twos;
You and I
may love our best;
your needs
my needs
may meld or clash;
but as long as we're
the Twos
we will fail;
and the relationship
will delve down the deeps.
Yours vs. Mine
Right vs. Wrong
Your Family,
My Family,
Your View
My View,
Your Needs,
My Needs:
stuck in the Twos.
The Three is You and I
and understanding that
there is another person
in the relationship;
The US.
Then we see
that sometimes we have to
value US
more than
than You and Me.
What shall prevail:
the irritation over
the tooth paste tube,
the unmade bed
the chores or we Three?
Is Happiness
the sacrifice
for Three
we learn to make?
Yes it is.
The Three
you me and the kids
Us and our family
not versus,
but additions to
the love
we want to add to our lives.
The Three comprehends
that all belong in this tapestry.
No outsiders here.
No insiders either.
Nations too,
practice Two:
Us vs. Them
Good vs Bad
Foreigners vs Us
God with Us and
not with Them.
Civilizations thrive or die
by the Threes and Twos.
So do We.
So practice
Three
not Two;
You might
be
happier.
But then again
that is just my view.

Twos Up
(three is company)
Last stand
Down to my last dime
Havent got the sense to leave
The dealers cutting fine
Last draw
Back against the wall
Depending where the money is
Is where Im gonna fall
Ace high
Hide your poker eyes
I didnt want to laugh too much
When I picked up the prize
Lady luck
Standing at my side
Ill leave with more than I brought in
And I get her in my life
Get her in my life
Chorus:
I go, you go, she go, we go
Twos up, its a twos up
Give me head, give me tails
Give me doubled up and coming doubled over on the rails
Give me twos up, its what I want
High up
When youre looking down
Then you see two animals
Just fooling you around
Stray dogs
Gonna take them in
I dont know what your names are
But youre gonna break them in
All day
Its difficult to say
Who is doing what to whom
Whos out of the play
I love
The way you slide and slip
Love the way you girls work out
And make the partnership
Make that partnership
Chorus
(gotta give me double or quits)
Twos up, twos up
Like your partnership
Like the way you slip
There aint nothing like a twos up
Thats the way it is, twos up
Its what I want to hear
Give me head, give me tails
Give me doubled up and coming over on the rails

Get Off Of My Cloud
(mick jagger and keith richards)
I live in an apartment on the ninety-ninth floor of my block
And I sit at home looking out the window
Imagining the world has stopped
Then in flies a guy whos all dressed up like a union jack
And says, Ive won five pounds if I have his kind of detergent pack
I say, hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Dont hang around cause twos a crowd
On my cloud baby
The telephone is ringing,
I say, hi, its me. who is it there on the line?
A voice says, hi, hello, how are you?
Well, I guess Im doin fine
He says, its three a.m., theres too much noise
Dont you people ever wanna go to bed?
Just cause you feel so good, do you have
To drive me out of my head?
I say, hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Dont hang around cause twos a crowd
On my cloud baby
I was sick and tired, fed up with this,
And decided to take a drive downtown
It was so very quiet and peaceful
There was nobody, not a soul around
I laid myself out, I was so tired and I started to dream
In the morning the parking tickets were just like
A flag stuck on my window screen
I say, hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Dont hang around cause twos a crowd
On my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Hey! you! get off of my cloud
Dont hang around cause twos a crowd

The Might, Not The Just, Rules
Five is bigger than three or two.
Two threes or three twos exceed five.
The weak grow mighty by joining
And overthrow the mighty one.

Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, but only one mother in the whole world.

Writers: leo sayer & david courtney
Used to see him hanging around everywhere
In a world of his own
See him hanging round street corners
Where we would meet
He was a lonely kid
Now they tell us that hes moved on
Aint been seen for so long dont know where hes gone...
Its been so long, but Im on the road and
Though it aint been easy
At least I made it on my own
My tongues been tied for far too long
And now youre gonna hear me
At least I know where I belong...
S.o.l.o. Im on the road
S.o.l.o. Im on my own
Ysee everybodys got someone
To lay their troubled lives upon
Im really glad Ive only got my own...
Once upon a time, well I had lots of friends
I moved freely through their lives
But twos a couple and, well threes a crowd
I was just left out
Hanging around
Ive had as much now as I can take
There aint no need to stay...
S.o.l.o. Im on the road
S.o.l.o. Im all alone
And everybody smiles
As I go walking by
But I m really glad Ive only got my own...

Family I love
love my family with my hold heart.
My love is Joy to love my family
Family is sad and happy and love.
Family is fun and painful and pretty.
My family is like all families we have
love and we have happiness and tears
I love my hold family
My family is like angels who fly in sky
I am grateful that I have family that loves
me.
My family are kind and nice and fun to be
around
My family is painful like all familys are and
heart breaking and Evil sometimes
My family is heart breaking and deadly like
everyone else
Hey I can't stop loving my family not matter what
it coats in the family.
Way my family is just makes me want have family
with someone be as good as they are.
But God know I love my family
and our love is great to have in life
and even know they leave he world they still
a live in my hearts.

The Sun Has Long Been Set
The sun has long been set,
The stars are out by twos and threes,
The little birds are piping yet
Among the bushes and the trees;
There's a cuckoo, and one or two thrushes,
And a far-off wind that rushes,
And a sound of water that gushes,
And the cuckoo's sovereign cry
Fills all the hollow of the sky.
Who would go `parading'
In London, `and masquerading',
On such a night of June
With that beautiful soft half-moon,
And all these innocent blisses?
On such a night as this is!

Six o'clock in Princes Street
In twos and threes, they have not far to roam,
Crowds that thread eastward, gay of eyes;
Those seek no further than their quiet home,
Wives, walking westward, slow and wise.
Neither should I go fooling over clouds,
Following gleams unsafe, untrue,
And tiring after beauty through star-crowds,
Dared I go side by side with you;
Or be you in the gutter where you stand,
Pale rain-flawed phantom of the place,
With news of all the nations in your hand,
And all their sorrows in your face.

The Messerschmitt Twins
My mind is made up, Im changing faster
Your mind is made up, avoiding worries
My old image is set to fade away
Forget the talking
Forget the actions
And quiet voices and all that happened
In just one of hour
You could knock me down
The twos are one now
And ones are fuller
No longer giving
No longer taking
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
And when youre asking
You sound like telling
Despite the questions
Youre not receiving
I cant explain
Why you disappear
Your mind is made up
The time is taken
You reach decisions
We cant avoid them
Theres no success
No matter what we do
The twos are one now
And ones are fuller
No longer giving
No longer taking
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
These ways are tried

How the Land was Won
The future was dark and the past was dead
As they gazed on the sea once more –
But a nation was born when the immigrants said
"Good-bye!" as they stepped ashore!
In their loneliness they were parted thus
Because of the work to do,
A wild wide land to be won for us
By hearts and hands so few.
The darkest land 'neath a blue sky's dome,
And the widest waste on earth;
The strangest scenes and the least like home
In the lands of our fathers' birth;
The loneliest land in the wide world then,
And away on the furthest seas,
A land most barren of life for men –
And they won it by twos and threes!
With God, or a dog, to watch, they slept
By the camp-fires' ghastly glow,
Where the scrubs were dark as the blacks that crept
With "nulla" and spear held low;
Death was hidden amongst the trees,
And bare on the glaring sand
They fought and perished by twos and threes –
And that's how they won the land!
It was two that failed by the dry creek bed,
While one reeled on alone –
The dust of Australia's greatest dead
With the dust of the desert blown!
Gaunt cheek-bones cracking the parchment skin
That scorched in the blazing sun,
Black lips that broke in a ghastly grin –
And that's how the land was won!
Starvation and toil on the tracks they went,
And death by the lonely way;
The childbirth under the tilt or tent,
The childbirth under the dray!
The childbirth out in the desolate hut
With a half-wild gin for nurse –
That's how the first were born to bear
The brunt of the first man's curse!
They toiled and they fought through the shame of it –
Through wilderness, flood, and drought;
They worked, in the struggles of early days,
Their sons' salvation out.
The white girl-wife in the hut alone,
The men on the boundless run,
The miseries suffered, unvoiced, unknown –
And that's how the land was won.
No armchair rest for the old folk then –
But, ruined by blight and drought,
They blazed the tracks to the camps again
In the big scrubs further out.
The worn haft, wet with a father's sweat,
Gripped hard by the eldest son,
The boy's back formed to the hump of toil –
And that's how the land was won!
And beyond Up Country, beyond Out Back,
And the rainless belt, they ride,
The currency lad and the ne'er-do-well
And the black sheep, side by side;
In wheeling horizons of endless haze
That disk through the Great North-west,
They ride for ever by twos and by threes –
And that's how they win the rest.

just how right I am
I just can’t understand
how it is that
the world can’t understand
how right I am
and how wrong it is
OK, we’ll excuse the world, for the moment,
since it is far removed from my person
and my mind
so it can’t really be expected to understand my
unfailing rightness:
just how right I am and how just I am;
but the family, my family –
no, not the family of man
but the damned family of mine, my blood and bones and skin –
I can’t understand for the world of me
why my own family
that eats at the table with me
can’t understand
how right I am
and wrong they are…
just how right I am
and how just I am…
Look, I can understand about the world
but I just can’t understand
how the family….
I mean, this is where the family is important
for if the family can give me
just a little support –
just a teeny-weeny bit – I mean how much
does it take
for the family to see
how right I am
and how wrong the family is.
Is that really asking for too much?
You see, I’m sure you can see,
if only the family could agree
the world itself would see
how right I am…
But what is to be done?
prophets are never accepted
in their own home
and so in their own family too…
and so perhaps the truth lies in this cliché…
still, if one looks at it clearly,
I just can’t understand
how it is that
the world, which includes that silly family of mine,
can’t understand
how right I am
and how wrong it is

x Relationships x
They come and go
But your family are always their
You know you can turn to them whenever you want
Relationships don’t last forever
But parents and family will protect you forever
They will respect you no matter what happens
Relationships are nothing
Compared to your friends and family
Or your loved ones
Relationship cause arguments
But your family will be there
To comfort you

What Love Mean To Me
When you are in love you have to put hundred percent into relationship
When you say I love you should mean it and not joke about it, it's not funny
What love mean to me
Are feelings you felt for the first time with that person
You should cherish that person good because
They going be gone out your life without you even realizing it
If you lost that chances
You got to learn to work to it out and figure out on your own
Do what the other person wants to
Try new things and take risk with one you love
You got to learn trust the other person
Being with someone you been waiting for is so magical and beautiful
Don't let that person slip away
You might not get that second chance
Try to do something nice or romantic for that person
What love mean to me
Is enjoying life and share happiness with your love one
We all will get in argument with each other
Then we start thinking about our exes or just go somewhere to think
At end it be fine or not depends on situation went on
You shouldn't let that get in the way of having each other
You should make compromise with your love one
You guys will work something out as along as you guys meet in middle it be good
One day you guys want to get marry and start a family or just have each other
Chemistry and sparks will last forever
If you go back to memory land and found out
Why you guys fall in love in first place and
Just want each other forever and always
If you learn from mistakes
Life won't be difficult
You need just learn to open your ears and eyes
You should never lie in relationship then it's not really one
Love should be on top of your properties
Don't let friends and work stop you from being with that person
No matter how hard things get
You guys can overcome it together
What love mean to me

Why Can't We Be A Family
why can't family be family again
we used to always be friends
we used to huddle together
whenever we got scared
we felt the warmth in one anothers arms
because we knew the love was there
we used to build forts out of whatever we had in our rooms
and wage sars
throwing pillows, books, and brooms
we used to have mini mosh pits
with just the four of us
we headbanged and pushed
we screamed and pretended to cuss
we used to protect eachother
we used to defend one another
we used to stand together like brothers and sister
when mom punished us we would all resist her
we used to be a family
a family that would always care
we used to be a family with more happiness than despair
we used to be a family that never hogged food or air
we used to be a family that told eachother we were there
we used to be a family
a family that sat down toghether and ate
we used to be a family full of our own ideas that we create
we used to be a family that got along without debate
we used to be a family with more love than hate
so why can't family be family again
and remember why those times were so good
why can't family be family again
and treat eachother the way we should
why can't family be family again
and throw the hate away
why can't family be family again
and invite the love to stay

Couplings
All life seems a coupling
two by twos
from Noah's ark
to romancing;
triangles we understand
can intrude-
break couples apart
who reconcile
in the long while;
or not.
But in growing up
all this can be confusing.
How to raise a family
if the married two
cannot handle child
who makes three and a triangle real?
And we know some people cannot
handle triangles;
in three
someone is always left out
since most can only handle two;
three ends in jealousy.
So lonely is one
of the three
bound to be?
Mostly.

I Love My Family So Much
To be apart of a family like mine
is so divine
where love is shown
hurt is shared
our love for each other is never impaired
we talk
we laugh
we cry
but we are a family
and we do it all together
for as a family we do it all as one
for we are family
a family full of strength
a family full of love
a family no one can touch
that's why I love my family so much
my family is my life and always will be forever
