Stony Silence
In this cacophony which is modernity
individuality is the first casualty
where single soul's are rendered soundless
where those who shout the loudest
get attention, even though albeit
so much of suckcess is undeserved;
where pandering to sensationalism
to sell things to the silenced hordes
who sit couch-ward
yearning that they too can grab a megaphone
and yell, I am alive; I count;
but counting these days is being on television
being noticed
if not they all settle
for face book
and twittering
at least this is being known to those close to them each telling the other
they matter
but the aching gnarl
persists among us mass media-ed
'how can my scribblings on the graffiti wall
be noticed among the millions of scratchings there?
Yet taking me down and back to the small town
seems to be accepting defeat
and being rendered tiny small.'
Millions of the young are all taught they each and every one
can be president
yet we all know that isn't true;
millions of the young are told
that each and every one
can and will be rich,
yet we all know that isn't true;
as millions of the young are told
that through the competition sieve
the last to stand will be crowned champion
but champion of what
if all around
are defeated and resentful
labeled less than champion
and maybe even less that human.
Such societies have no sanity or sane premise
and soon face the upheaval
of the many who shout in unison
'I am somebody
I matter.
I am somebody
I matter.'
And then in the face of this
failed modernity
offers to them only Stony Silence.

There Have Been Millions And Millions Of Years
THERE HAVE BEEN MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF YEARS
There have been millions and millions of years
And there will be millions and millions more
And I have had only less than seventy-
There is so much to see and be and know
I could understand far more than I do now
I have so much beauty and hope and love in me
Why do I have to die?
It does not seem fair or wise
So much waste and loss in my dying
Worlds in me that will never be known.

That Millions Do Live In Poverty
That millions do live in poverty should never be seen as okay
The gap between the haves and the have nots keeps getting bigger by the day
Everyone should have the chance to live happy a home to live in and enough for to eat
There never should be slums and ghettos and never a poverty street,
That millions are born to live in poverty and to end their hard lives in despair
Only tells us if there's a god that god favours the wealthy and that god is not very fair
To leave millions homeless and dying of malnutrition the people condemned to die poor and young
In the refugee camps of the World live the displaced, the poor and unsung,
In the age of celebrity worship the poor in millions multiply
Why millions are destined to be poor don't ask me I wouldn't know why
Even in the World's wealthiest Countries poor people are no longer rare
And millions and millions of have nots in the bigger World out there
And millions are dying of hunger and millions are doing it tough
And millions are displaced and homeless and as refugees living it rough.

Millions of water drops
drops of water
millions of drops
Falling down the rocks
Millions of water drops
Glittering in the sun
Shining like pearls
Millions of water drops
Ending as a river
Finding way to ocean
Millions of water drops
Creating childrens happiness
Laughter and joyfullness
Millions of water drops
Soon will tide reach
White long shores
Millions of water drops
Animating Waves
into forming caves
Millions of water drops
splittering from above
till reaching top of the hill
Millions of water drops
Without them no sound
No whispers of the living
Millions of water drops
Watch the clearness
From crest to earth
Millions of water drops
For tribe’s best
Beware of waste
Millions of water drops
Treasured should they be
As belonging to all humanity

Where Spring, the lord of the seasons
Where Spring, the lord of the seasons, reigneth,
there the Unstruck Music sounds of itself,
There the streams of light flow in all directions;
Few are the men who can cross to that shore!
There, where millions of Krishnas stand with hands folded,
Where millions of Vishnus bow their heads,
Where millions of Brahmas are reading the Vedas,
Where millions of Shivas are lost in contemplation,
Where millions of Indras dwell in the sky,
Where the demi-gods and the munis are unnumbered,
Where millions of Saraswatis, Goddess of Music, play on the veena
There is my Lord self-revealed:
and the scent of sandal and flowers dwells in those deeps.
He Miss The Old Town
He miss the old town by the ocean and he misses the smell of the sea
And in his moments of nostalgia in fancy he hear and see
The silver gulls above the wide beach in small flocks they call as they fly
And the soft pipings of the sooty oystercatchers echo in the clear morning sky.
He was a young man of the sixties and young men they age and grow old
All year round he rode the big surf waves in a wet suit to keep out the cold
Till he wandered far from the ocean fell in love, married and settled down
An ageing dad with teenage daughters he lives in a big inland Town.
He is out of practice for surfing and he lives far from the ocean shore
A champion young surfer of the sixties perhaps he will surf never more
You can take the man from the ocean but the ocean does not leave the man
Though far from the roar of the surf waves he well may live out his time span.
He miss the old town by the ocean though he now might feel a stranger there
A champion young surfer of the late sixties till lust for wander it took him to elsehwere
in his imaginings he rides the big waves and on his face the ocean spray
And at heart he is a coastal person though from there he lives far away.

United We Stand
Do you want to change yourself,
But your shyness is a wall
'Cause you don't' really feel bad
But also not good at all
Are you still waiting
For the big crack?
Did they rip you off?
Do you want your money back?
You have so many dreams
But your thoughts are an abyss
And you think you are the only one
Who feels like this
You are not alone
You are Not alone
We are with you
And we stand like a stone
You are not alone
You are Not alone
We are millions
And we are your backbone
Don't you think sometimes
What would be if?
Do you want to throw your your life
Down the highest cliff?
You think the others are happy
Cause you never see them cry
And that they threw you out of the paradise
And you don't get why
Do you want to show us
What's all in you?
Do you want to be perfect?
Do you want to be happy, too?
You are not alone
You are Not alone
We are with you
And we stand like a stone
You are not alone
And soon you will see
We are millions
And we allow you to be...
...Or not to be
Is the question that is the key
And the fear to loose the game
Is the nightmare that chases us all since 2000 BC
Would you like to be good looking?
Would you like to be rich?
But you need to do something for it
'Cause Life is a bitch
We don't want to wait any longer
And we are so sick of disgust
So where are all the nice thing
That the advertisements have promised
Ever single one of us
You are not alone
You are Not alone
We are with you
and we stand like a stone
You are not alone
You are Not alone
We are millions
and we are your backbone
You are not alone
United we stand
You can try to stop us
But You can't
You are not alone
United we stand
and there will be death
everywhere we went

We Are Not Actors!
when millions of our ancestors died for the truth,
when millions of them never acted in their life,
when millions of us work hard with our only face,
who told that world is full actors and actresses?
memorized scripts are repeated,
repeated verses can be recorded and edited,
The director vision is visualized,
Rehearsal can make the scenes perfect.
we live a scene only once in real life,
no directors, editors and the script writer,
we live our life with emotions and blunders,
we feel every moment that is not felt by the actors,
who told that world is the stage and we are the actors?

Believer
Life is what you make it
At least that's what they say
Well, I think I'm going to make it
Fulfill my dreams one day
I feel this fire growing
Deep inside of me
I'm so inspired knowing
That it's my destiny
I breathe like a champion
I dream I'm a champion
I think I'm a champion
That's led to be
My will's getting stronger
I can't wait any longer
I'm singing a song
That's inside of me
Cause I'm a believer
I know that I can't fake it
No matter what they say
Cause I'm a believer
The future is now
And it starts today
Everyday I'm waiting
Trying to find the patience
So close I can taste it
But sometimes it's so hard
But I'm gonna keep on pushin'
And I'm gonna to keep on fightin'
And I'm gonna to keep on tryin'
Because I've come too far
I breathe like a champion
I dream I'm a champion
I see I'm a champion
It's meant to be
My will's getting stonger
I can't wait any longer
I'm singing a song
That's inside of me
Cause I'm a believer
I know that I can make it
No matter what they say
I'm a believer
The future is now
It starts today
Believer, oh
The future is now
It starts today

Don't Shout when You Wipe Out
To those misguided,
And surfing to ride...
On the crest of waves,
Behind those who champion...
The act as a challenge,
And not a followed task.
Don't shout when you wipe out!
Screaming for the attention you seek.
If the water is too deep...
And you wish to touch the sand,
By using your own abilities.
It will be your own feet,
Upon which you will eventually stand...
To explain why you surf,
When you are not yet deserving...
To qualify yourself as a champion!

In Every Way!
how many people are blind?
how many people are deaf?
how many by choice?
perhaps you still have jobs,
homes, food to eat, medical care.
perhaps you have investments,
a way to retire....
perhaps your family is happy,
and well taken care of...
i hope so for you!
millions of people hurting,
millions in need...
millions of children hungry,
millions who cant get an education.
millions enslaved by poverty,
millions left alone....
people with faces and names.
all of these are normal people.
whatever their language, their religion,
their sexual orientation.
all of these are people just like you.
and many of these have families,
just like you!
is it their fault they're victims?
perhaps they've worked their whole lives.
male, female, young, old.....
all people,
with mothers and fathers....
all people....
and no, America is not free.
the news we watch is tainted.
the truth is hidden from us.
killing people around the world
does not make us free....
books are being banned and burned,
prejudice and discrimination are rampant.
we have forgotten we are responsible for each other,
we have forgotten we are all immigrants here.
there are no illegal people,
all people are just people.
freedom demands equality,
in every way!

Shout It Out
(words & music by giant - baum - kaye)
Everybody listen to me
Put a smile on your face
Theres no reason to be gloomy
This worlds a wonderful place
So when I say again happy
Shout it out
Yeh, get happy now shout it out
Well there is no doubt youve a lot to shout about
Give a yell life is swell shout it out
Hey there little girl dont be sad
Theres such good times to be had
Count your blessings one by one
Lifes a ball, after all have some fun
I said cmon get happy, shout it out
Yeh, get happy now shout it out
Well there is no doubt youve a lot to shout about
Give a yell life is swell shout it out
Now theres good feeling you can taste
While theres music lifes no waste
While theres great things happening
Theres no end to the joy life can bring
I said cmon get happy, shout it out
Yeh, get happy now shout it out
Well there is no doubt youve a lot to shout about
Give a yell life is swell shout it out
As long as theres somebody you can love
As long as bright stars shine above
Youve got no reason to be blue
Think what it means when all your dreams come true
I said cmon get happy, shout it out
Yeh, get happy now shout it out
Well there is no doubt youve a lot to shout about
Give a yell life is swell shout it out
I said now there is no doubt youve a lot to shout about
Give a yell life is swell shout it out

Imagine
(spoken) oohh yeah...dark child...shola ama
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me
sometimes i find myself locked in two
secret thoughts hoping they'd come true
sometimes at night i'd feel you lying next to me baby
but these are things that i could never tell you
i can't imagine what you would do
after all you are so far away from me...from me
sometimes it feels just like a fantasy
and i don't know what to do
coz it's always been like a dream to me
to find a love to true
but i know it's only make believe
when i'm picturing me and you
oh one day i know that you'll be
the one that makes my dreams come true
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me
there's a feeling so deep inside
telling me we are meant to me
praying that some day you will come for me...for me
but til then i'm just daydreaming
thinking about the way things could be
but it don't matter
coz you're still so far from me...baby
sometimes it feels just like a fantasy
and i don't know what to do
coz it's always been like a dream to me
to find a love to true
but i know it's only make believe
when i'm picturing me and you
oh one day i know that you'll be
the one that makes my dreams come true
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me
how can you..be so far from me
how can i...be loving you endlessly
how can we...be so far out of reach
just not the way the way i hoped it would be
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me

Do Something!
Buddu Ramdas sings
The only holy book that can take
one to safe end is his own life
book!
Keep it always Holy
God is the greatest liar,
Uses millions tongues to lie in
million ways, He thinks in million ways using
millions of brains, God advises in millions of ways
using millions of mouths! God plays millions of games in
millions of ways using millions of
toy players, Buddu Ramdas, stop thinking, you are just that
puppet on chain,
Chained by destiny and made to
play by unknown hands!
Either let this Egoless hollow
shell,
Sail on the sea at Gods will
'I am on this shore,
My friend is on the other,
Wind favourably blows cool and
gentle,
Open the sail and reach the
friend!
Or find the way out,
The root of all
Is based in you. Explore the base To reach the
essence There is that short tunnel,
Light the torch of knowledge,
Drink the wine of love,
Eat the bread of concentration,
Blast that stony door of
ignorance, Move on to reach the other
shore, Be not busy in picking stones and
pebbles,
Or that shells, World is that biggest lie of the
greatest liar,
Go out of lies of MAYA, Let all see
how zero can cross the infinite
ocean to shine,
shining one,
one with infinite,

The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens.

A Tiny Spec
I look around at the world
and get frightened when I realise
I am but a tiny spec.
I am a mere mortal
in a world filled with millions
and millions more
each trying to stand above the rest
and have their name remembered
long after they have gone
for the great things they have done.
I look again at myself
and feel somewhat sad
for I doubt if I’ll be remembered
for anything good or bad.

Young Man's Town
You wake up one morning and it's passed you by.
You don't know when and you don't know why.
You feel like an old memory hangin' round.
And man, you've gotta face it, it's a young man's town.
You knew this day was comin' all along.
So why bitch and moan and say they done you wrong?
Just teach 'em what you know an' pass it on down,
'Cause man, you gotta face it, it's a young man's town.
Chorus:
It's a young man's town,
Full of young man's dreams.
And all God's children
Gotta learn to spread their wings.
Sometimes you gotta stand back,
And watch 'em burn it to the ground,
Even though you built it,
It's a young man's town.
You always seem to be the last to know.
Man, that's just the way that the story goes.
There's nothin' you can do when the fields have turned brown.
Man, you gotta face it, it's a young man's town.
Chorus:
It's a young man's town,
Full of young man's dreams.
And all God's children
Gotta learn to spread their wings.
Sometimes you gotta stand back,
And watch 'em burn it to the ground,
Even though you built it,
It's a young man's town.
Sometimes you gotta stand back,
And watch 'em burn it to the ground.
Even though you built it,
It's a young man's town...
