How soon those eyes of yours
stretch across
to grab me by the soul
and squeeze
til heart drops drip
drip drip
and my knees
clank away
shaking.
Each time I say
I will not
let
these feelings sway.
My common sense
turns away
abandoning me;
my helpless self,
my angry self
my begrudging self
all line up inside me
and caterwaul;
leaving me exposed
to fiery rising Excitements Touch
poising above my soul straining
against Respondment's call
but l am losing the will-
my soul fluid
dripping away.

Where is the key you have
which unlocks my door?
Where is the silent heart-switch
which clicks
turning on my heart?
Where is that definition of love
that here fits?
This is a core mystery
I share with you
even when I don't want to:
even when I want to hide or run.
When my tent flap is closed
it opens
by my own hand,
against my will
and I am always surprised
wondering what part of my brain
worked that hand
despite the other No part of my brain.

streaming

Raindrops
The drip, drip, drip of the rain
against my window pane
quiets the stormy rages
that invade my brain.
The methodical tapping of wetness
slowly flushes away
all accumulated sadness
on a dark and dreary day.
Welcomed by creatures of the outside world
unaware of the constant drip,
they find the watery pools that collect
and drink or take a dip.
The clouds have opened. They're not aware
of the rain's effect on me.
'Tis not important to them at all.
That's something that I see.
But I, seeing the dripping rain
against my window pane
must give up sadness while it falls,
for it will not remain.
The sun will burst forth once again
and lighten the sky and my heart.

will be a memory that will depart.

tears roll down my face

that's all I hear as the tears fall
in the dark
I sit alone as blood runs down my arm
and mixes with my tears

my knife is a deadly scarlet

Fluid Emotions
emotions you must realize are fluid

sometimes blocked and
dammed and you see
a jail, a cell, a wall, an island without a bridge
a sea without a boat
a rainy day without any rainbow,
you are fluid, you must realize that too,

grenade.
