Your Expectations
Once words leave from my mouth to be said,
They are not rehearsed to fit snuggly...
To take into consideration your preferred wishes.
In a way that is expressed to address,
Your expectations.
No! That is not what I do.
I am too honest with myself.
If you choose to confuse my words as something else,
Communicating with me is not your desire.
Not if you want to comprehend my feelings,
To mean something else you wish to approve.
I will not manipulate my words in premeditation,
To please what you want from me to hear.
I do not live to feed the keeping of your delusions.

Say The Words
Every light shines on you tonight
Making a fool out of me
Why wont this love leave me alone
All of the people in this smoky room
Crowded with faces I know
I feel them watching me watch you
Chorus
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words so I can leave its over
Your eyes are deeper
They are worthy of many words
But none I can conjure up will do for you
I shouldnt see you
cause I know my own motivation
Its taking too long for this love
To leave me alone
Chorus
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words so I can leave its over
Bridge
Oh love you worry me
When you say youll wait forever
I have another life
We just cannot be together
Chorus
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words say them for me
I need to hear you say its over
Say the words
Say the words
Say the words so I can leave its over

Words Sometimes Take On A Own Meaning
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
and sometimes they are sharp and painful
as if there is much more to words
as if a kind of secret knowledge hides in them
that are sometimes something moving.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
but somehow words can at times miss things
and are sometimes dependent on feelings
as if there is much more to words
when through it all love brings a kind of bonding
and so you and I are attractive to each other.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
and daily a bond develops between us,
while you become more considerable to me,
as if there is much more to words
you constantly live in my thoughts,
while love becomes real through words.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
as if there is much more to words…

I Know Your Heart…
From your poetry
I know your heart
Words that heal or
Tear things apart
Words from fear
Uncertainty, doubt
Poetic words that
Unite, block out
Words of love,
Reverence, hope
Tiny words or
Large in scope
Words wisely chosen
Words that cause pain
And damaged feelings
Over and over again
Next time your mouth opens
Check heart before you speak
For things always go better
When one withholds critique

The Human Mouth
The human mouth is great,
When sacred be the words,
That issue forth from heart,
To change a man’s sad fate!
But, none really know,
What uncouth words come out;
Unpredictable’s the mouth,
Of evil men/ women.
The scene determines words!
And words can do magic;
The face may lag behind,
The uttered words, sometimes.
Yet, words may do damage,
That ne’er can be undone;
Then, seal your lips and see,
Much harm can elude us!

Words
Words on this paper
Words in my head
Words while I'm texting
Computing
Unsaid
Words between people
Words on the phone
Words upon words
Even when I'm alone
Words from the Bible
I question
Don't mesh
Words from pornography
Making them flesh
Words with flat letters
Written in black
Good words and bad words
You cannot take back
Words that are shallow
Words that are deep
When they're too many
They put me to sleep
Words that I'm writing
And rhyming you read
Whatever I'm saying
There's prolly no need
Words from the alphabet
Words that can't be
When you are blind
And it's Braile that you see
Words that are worthless
And said on the fly
My words or your words
Are most likely lies
Words in a sentence
Wise words or fair
The only words earnest
Are those said in prayer

If I Dont Tell You Now
Ooh ooh oh yeah
I kept it inside for the longest time and I cant keep keeping it
All this love thats inside of my heart
Maybe its safer not to say that I care
Maybe this road wont lead me anywhere
But if I dont tell you now (if I dont tell you now)
I may never get the chance again (I may never get the chance again)
To tell you that I need you, tell you what Im feeling
If I keep these feelings in
And if I dont say the words (if I dont say the words)
How will you hear whats inside my heart
How will you know then
If I dont tell you now
Ohhh
Id do anything to be in your dreams and I cant stand standing by
With this dream thats inside my heart(heart)
Maybe Im only gonna make a mistake
And theres a chance maybe my heart will break
But if I dont tell you now (if I dont tell you now)
I may never get the chance again (I may never get the chance again)
To tell you that I need you, tell you what Im feeling
If I keep these feelings in
And if I dont say the words (if I dont say the words)
How will you hear whats inside my heart
How will you know then
If I dont tell you now
Ooooooh
How will you know youre inside my soul
Oh its driving me crazy
Cause you dont see, youre the world to me
Im so afraid to see
The way that I feel for you
If I dont tell you now (if I dont tell you now)
I may never get the chance again (I may never get the chance again)
To tell you that I need you, tell you what Im feeling
If I keep these feelings in
And if I dont say the words (if I dont say the words)
How will you hear whats inside my heart
How will you know then
If I dont tell you now
Ohhhh ohhhh
If I dont tell you now

Words.... (Poetry Itself)
words do not heal the broken hearted,
words do not end wars.
words do not change the face of indifference,
words do not impress god!
words do not feed the hungry,
nor set the captives free.
words do not give shelter to the homeless,
or hope to those ridden with despair.
words do not stop discrimination,
words do not bring justice.
words do not bring forgiveness,
nor do they bring understanding...
words do not fill the empty,
nor erase the scars of love...
words do not define dialogue!
it is only then,
the hands and feet of the human heart...
and poetry itself is nothing more,
than the action of involved compassion!

Close To Word
Come close to words
And be honest.
Words take you
To the place you deserved.
Words changed everything
For you
And your are the words
And words are your wards.

Words
we open the doors to worlds unknown
when we sit and read.
words help us to travel
this earth far and wide
even makes us soar high into the sky.
words can tell us of the past
the present, and even the future.
if we only look
inside a book.
words to make a contract
words to make a vow
all these words
we can use right now.
words tell your feelings, your thoughts, desires, passions
likes, dislikes, fears, joys
but most of all, love can express the love you have within.
for a mother, father, sister, brother
for a man or a woman.
your chest becomes overwhelmed
with the feeling that you have inside.
a love that you can not hide.
a love so strong that it consumes your soul
a beautiful wonder to behold.
for it rises higher than the highest mountain
and deeper than the deepest sea.
when you say those special words
'you belong to me'.
words sharpen the mind to all that is done
like the rising of the sun.
if we could not see or hear words,
it would be like living in darkness.
and never learning to appreciate
what we was given.
so these words i write today
expresses what i want to say.
without words we could not live
and that my friend
would be a down right sin.

Fool Me Not
All those honeyed words I hear
make me cringe as you
whisper them in my ear.
For the words I believe
are not sincere,
these honeyed words that I hear.
They're too sweet to depend upon.
I hear them. I react
and then you're gone.
'Woman', I say to myself
'Take heed.
Those words really
are not what you need.'
Fool me not. Fool me not.
Take your words and leave.
Fool me not. Fool me not.
As the honey drips, I grieve.

Finding words
Finding words
~
My heart was talking awkward
Perhaps I did not say
That I had thought to have said
Words so often I claim to understand
Often leave me at a loss
That I could not find the right words to say
Leave me replaying our conversation
I sear I said you were beautiful
And maybe how I wanted to be with you
Could I have said that with any clarity
That you understood fully my heart
Would I now be questioning my words
I am unable to say except in truth
Those are the words I wish to say
My feelings towards you
Though my heart rambles awkward
Saying plenty without saying much
Perhaps I never actually say
That I have thought to say

Let's Live! Let's Love!
Let's live, let's love and even wonder!
Let's cry, let's laugh and trust!
Let's hope for the best and even blunder,
Forgive, believe and do be just!
Let's just admire fields, the sky and dew!
And if it's hard do not give up but fight!
Go ahead, tomorrow you'll all renew,
Without fright as truth is always right.
Let's be honest when communicating,
Honest in words, actions and deeds!
Let's firmly believe, without doubting,
To live a real life and not in dreams.
Let's be honest when you are mistaken,
Honest with jealousy, cheats and lies!
Let's live, let's love and dream when awake,
Spread wings when your soul flies!

Last Words
Words that stick in our minds
we all wonder what the last ones will be
romantic to a lover final goodbye
a fighter gasping to fight till the end
a loner uttering a change to late
a prisoner express his hatred past
words that touch, some that hurt
but to some we don't hear their words
instead we see the tears and anguish in their eyes
there were some great lives, some bad ones
the ones that are missed are lost souls
flowing in time for us to catch and hear
their last words
it's hard to remember those anguish words
tears and cries hide those words
remember those words bad or good
it's the last time you'll hear their voice
last words to live by, cherish life

This May Be Painful For You To Hear
I know this may be painful for you to hear.
But there are very few people,
With wishes and desires to comprehend your needs.
You may not believe that.
But at least take it into consideration,
Others you observe and see...
Can be counted on as not having you even as a thought,
In their minds at all.
And if you choose to put this to a test...
Go to any shopping mall, grocery store
Or sit among others in a concert!
Witness the atmosphere.
See who is digesting it.
They are there to receive what they came to get.
Do it and then to leave.
And some may or may not...
Glance at the receipt.
Here is a suggestion:
Spend a few weeks alone.
Just you and 'life'.
From that you will gain a better perspective.

Keep The Radio On
Can you relate to what it says
The lyrics are straight from the heart
The soul is expressed in the lyrics
The virtues and vices are released
Chorus:
Keep the radio on,
This song means so much to me
Keep the radio on,
The words live right through me
The lyrics are comforting
Like I expressed them my self
Keep the radio on, the song speaks for itself.
Why cant you relate
To my way of thinking
Why dont you understand
All the things I am feeling
I am not a stranger to opinions
In fact I have my own
I am no stranger to delusions
Although you live through mine
Repeat chorus
Keep the radio on
Keep the radio on
The words have their meaning
Keep the radio on
Cant you feel what they are saying
Keep the radio on
Repeat chorus

The Things You Say
Words
Said in a careless huff as you walked away
Hurt
Words
Said in a whispered excited voice
Caused electricity in me
Words
Said in a caring loving way
Were a balm for the wound in me
Words
Said in an angry menacing way
Felt like daggers thrown at me
Words
Said like sugary sweet morning due
Caused my knees to go weak
Words
Words, Words, Words..
Your words have so much power over me
Words
Said like a magic spell
Have enchanted me
Words
You throw around those words so carelessly
Do you know
Words
How they have been affecting and inflicting me..

The Value Of Words
Words what value words
when spoken in haste
what is their worth
words spat in spite
or an envious game
false words meaningless
what value words
a trusting word
honest and open speaks
volumes when listen to
without agenda given
with care and thought
placed into its being
what becomes its worth
words in variety
of context and meaning
fill blank spaces
where sometimes silence
is a more welcome sound
where nothing is better said
words have a value
consider their worth
