You Were Right. I Now Take My Flight! C-YA!

My purpose is not to focus on,
What isn't.
For a minimizing of that which is in my life,
That 'is'.

Why should I continue,
To maximize the obvious.
When reactions have been unanimous,
That part of their lives they have chosen not to fix.

Arguments have been presented.
Claims of blame have defamed and shamed.
Those who have had no discipline within them,
Now voice their self righteousness!
As if they have spent a life committed,
Uplifting the minds of those dimwitted.

A rehabilitation done behind bars...
Does not a perfected society make.
Especially if those have sacrificed their lives,
Time and minds...
To have been demeaned by those,
Who have now found GOD.
After spending years wearing,
Government issued prison clothes!

'THIS 'fix' you believe should be turned around quick,
Has been a result of your involvement that created it! '

My purpose is not to focus on,
What isn't.
For a minimizing of that which is in my life,
That 'is'.
I've earned my peace of mind.
And any happiness I have found in it.

Your fear of accountability,
Has been your gift given...
To those you now want to ridicule and preach!
And I remember you telling me,
My methods were out of touch.

You were right.
I now take my flight!
C-YA!

Chaos, Order, Chaos, Beauty And Ugliness...

beauty must a purpose
have, for instance beauty that
gives peace and
harmony to the world,

presumably this world is a world of chaos,
and chaos is wanton
and understood to be messy and
undesirable, makes the mind
to lack the necessary focus

but what is focus for? what is thinking for?
again, you return to purpose
focus must have a purpose
and thinking must have another purpose

but what is the purpose of purpose?
seems that purpose is beauty
and that purpose without beauty is not desirable,

and so on and so forth,
people get so confused, they want order as though order itself is
beauty
as though it is one purpose that we need,

the universe must have an order
a system, every planet orbiting around the sun must have
a purpose
as though they are human beings like us
as though they are us

look at this poem, read it so well,
it has no purpose but to make you think
make you doubt

that perhaps beauty to be beauty must be wanton
and chaotic, which by itself is a reality
and reality is always
beautiful,
it has always a purpose and this is what you think it to be

right now, but is this really so?

Days Whittled Away

Small becomes big, while huge is little, this as we mentally whittle,
Sorting many things in our mind, looking forward and also behind;
Pondering things, near and far, not content with things as they are,
Thinking beyond the here and now, we can slide into why and how.

Looking beyond all that we can see, thinking about what could be,
With our mind, overriding our heart, our flesh begins doing its part,
As temptations comes into play, trying to direct these feet of clay,
To stray from God’s said purpose, all provided by The Lord Jesus.

Some things in life may seem small, but, perception is not over all,
As personal wants cloud the view, of this life given to me and you;
While in our minds we may scheme; what we usually call our dream,
Almost appearing to be discontent, with the purpose, we were sent.

We then proceed, to whittle away, at that purpose, from day to day,
When we start wrestling in our mind, with daily issues of every kind,
As our eyes are taken off The Lord, His purpose, for us, is ignored.
Clouding, all that matters, in this life, as we stray from Jesus Christ.

But, God’s purpose doesn’t change, for our Lord remains the same,
Working through the life of everyone, who’s been called by His Son,
And so daily our focus needs to be, on Christ and things of Eternity,
As we live here, one day at a time, through a power which is sublime.

Set Into Motion

Methods of discrediting,
For the purpose to diminish one's influence...
Aren't methods easily detected,
But nonetheless applied as reminders.

I remember the first time I was told I was a 'minority'.
And I guess I reacted as if unaffected.
Because it seemed as if it became someone's duty,
To imply my life was restricted to limitations.

And when I scoffed at this...
That's when insults and blatant disrespect began.
Everyone I knew got into the act!

People taught their children to be disgusting.
Even thinking them cute when they began to cuss.
And...
I prepared myself for little Johnnie to say something to me.
Something derogatory.
'please don't let that little boy be that crazy.
Please Father God,
Remove images I should not have out of my mind.'

Visions of sitting in prison...
Locked behind bars for the rest of my life,
Kept me from smacking the hell out of Johnnie.

When it becamed noticeable I was being provoked...
I took deep breaths.
Or choked from smoking too many cigarettes.
Something to maintain a self control.
Or disguised as one.

Gender benders became the rage.
And if someone was not weird or strange...
Lesbian or homosexual,
By Sunset?
It was a bet to be won they were going to be pegged,
As 'something' or someone freaky.
And the following day,
Confirmations were all over the place.
Of course. I exaggerate.
But that's the way it seemed.

And folks wonder why today is so crazed.
I don't!
This was set into motion!

Now people today who thought
Having 'things' would give them reason for living...
Look like zombies that should be leashed.
Or at least caged.

Life from them has been sucked by mortgage payments.
Credit cards and bad credit scores.
And they are nothing but whores...
Of a disposable culture!
To allow oneself to become like this,
Without charging a fee?
To me is despicable.
And you can call me anything you want.
Not a dread on my head will be cut.

Methods of discrediting,
For the purpose to diminish one's influence...
Aren't methods easily detected,
But nonetheless applied as reminders.

And you know what?
I am glad I have been reminded,
Of my 'insignificance'.
Since I am 'thrilled' I had nothing to do with this mess!

And my mind has been protected from trying to help.
I used to be one of those 'unity' for all people.
With a sacrificial understanding.
Until I awakened and found my peace of mind.

And I would not hesitate to kill,
If that was threatened to be taken away.
And I thank God that is 'almost' impossible!
I say 'almost' because these days I love to tease.
And some folks at the edge of jumping off the ledge...
Would not understand I am only having fun,
When I suggest to them to jump!
People have a tendency not to keep their focus.

God is good.
AND...
All the time!
But...
One has to 'live' to know that!

Ahhhmen?
Ahhhmen.

The Power to Touch Lives

Do you
have
the power
to
touch lives?

Are you defeated
in
every second
of
every hour?

Is your heart withholding the keys
to put many out of their miseries?

Were you created to make somebody see
what their purpose in life is suppose to be?

Were you put down here to be of some help
to uplift when others can't do it for themselves?

Have you answered your calling,
which was to keep others from falling?

Do you have any power?

Is your power distorted in some way?

Are you destroying souls
by
what you do
and
what you say?

Is the power
of
Life and Death
within
your tongue?

Then tell me
why do you choose
to
use it like
a gun?

Do you have the power
to
enlighten others,
who just might
be
a sister or a brother
of
another color?

Were you
created
to be
a blessing?

So until this time,
you would've
still been
guessing

Please let me know
when you will believe,
that
you have the power,
to help those in need

You have the power
to encourage
someone to succeed

So Yes,
You have,
the
'Power to Touch Lives'
If I've said it once,
now
I've said it twice

Crystal Ball

a crystal ball in your hand
foretelling my mood

stop it
the paranoia is a lamp in your mind

it is daytime
stop it

see the sun
feel the warmth

do not make predictions
reality is here

see the world for yourself
do not look at me

feel the grass
not my skin

touch the wind
not my words

fly like a bird yourself
do not think that i have wings

stop talking much
every syllable becomes a bar of your prison wall

try the silence
like licking vanilla ice cream

set me free
for i am free

live your life
do not be crippled by my own biography

write the words for your life
do not see my notes

be brave

Don't Only Focus On The Money

When you go for the money,
You'll be selling your soul.
And when one goes for just the money,
The heart turns cold.
So don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.

Bling is nice but there's more to life.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Open your mind with bright wide eyes,
To take a ride that will excite you.
With a view to greater heights.
So...
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.

When you go for the money,
You'll be selling your soul.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.

Don't let your heart grow old and cold.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
So...
Don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
So...
Don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.

Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
So you just don't focus on the money,
Don't.
So you just don't focus on the money,
Don't.
No don't you focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.

'I feel funny when I don't have any money.'

Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't you only focus on the money,
Don't.

Don't keep your focus on the fact that you always stay broke.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't only focus on the money,
Don't.
Don't stay focused on the money,
Don't!
Don't keep your focus on the fact that you always stay broke.
Don't focus on the money,
Don't.

My Conscious Stays On Automatic

Sometimes I wish I could revisit my intentions.
And do a focus on my purpose,
With a prioritizing of my needs.

My conscious stays on automatic.
With a feeling to complete.
Even though I love to play...
I have a discipline to keep.

And to those who don't know what this means...
I can only say my mind is locked in a routine.

Everyday I must be challenged as a treat for me.
Everyday I must be doing something to succeed.
I'm not the kind to sit around and watch TV.
Or one to socialize in cliques to fit in those scenes.
I like to validate my life to prove meaning.
And doing those things for me that happiness brings.

Sometimes I wish I could revisit my intentions.
And do a focus on my purpose,
With a prioritizing of my needs.
But,
Everyday I must be challenged as a treat for me.
But,
Everyday I must be doing something to succeed.
I'm not the kind to sit around and watch TV.
Or one to socialize in cliques to fit in those scenes.
I like to validate my life to prove meaning.

Minds Deluded With Excuses Are Not Included

One almost has to be a self hypnotist,
To remain focus and not force...
A creativity to flow and exist.

Discipline is part of it and has to be desired.
One without a love for what it is they do,
Will not be motivated, achieve or inspire.
Since the combination of these three,
Has nothing to do with procrastination.

And many who are turned off by work,
But wish for 'perks' to be delivered to their lives...
Are not suitable to produce,
And expect to waste time.
Minds deluded with excuses are not included.
This kind of seduction for them,
Has not been prioritized.
Or on an agenda they ensure thrives and keeps alive.

In Spaces Limited

So many are stuck in times,
Within locked minds fearing change.
Or the process that takes them...
Away to new places.
And experiences unexplained.

In spaces limited a rotation continues.
A rotation accepted with the sameness of it!

Like a rusting with dust given permission to oxidize...
Bright eyes dull,
Minimizing active lives.

Although a freedom is there to breathe and do it deeply...
Many prefer their familiar ruts.
With others who have given up.
To share and say what they would do...
If God would bless them with a stroke of good luck.

In spaces limited a rotation continues.
A rotation accepted with the sameness of it!

So many are stuck in times,
Within locked minds fearing change.
Or the process that takes them...

Without A Prior Menu Used

Only those who make up their minds,
To do something concrete...
That validates their time.
Do this with such fixed focus,
And grow!

Often a connection between loyalty,
With discipline, determination and dedication...
Mixed,
Produces evidence of success from it.

However,
Few can continue...
Without a prior menu used.
They look to be rewarded,
With a discounted way of pursuing life.

'What comes with 'that',
If I should order 'this'? '

And it would seem for the one who dreams...
An achieved reality is reached!
A happiness stirs and occurs inside.
And it does...
But,
So long has the road been journeyed!

There is one thing left,
That has not been satisfactorily addressed.
And that is...
The sacrifice and loneliness invested.
What fills that hole?

No tangible 'perks' observed can undo,
Words heard of discouragement...
'LAZY'
'DELUDED'...
An d,
Lives with 'mama' and will never amount to nothing!

And still those vicious lips remain on city streets.
Living with their 'mamas' and doing nothing to achieve.
And they call 'themselves' men!

Like They See It Done In The Movies

I was in and out of the military,
By the age of 21.
Living co-independently with responsibilites...
As a married man with a wife expecting our son.

Today I have little patience,
With men and women both who whine.
About living lives they wished they had.
But accepting routines to live,
Everyday...
In their minds.

And I have no tolerance for those who make claims...
About what they do and how they do it.
While expressing a self centered sadness,
To hold others to blame for their restricted ambitions.
And listening to them...
You will hear them threaten to run away.
And make childish proclamations.

And there are still those...
Who will convince others they have been on their own.
All their lives!
But they have never spent time by themselves.
Nor could they walk on their paths alone.
They have never done it.
But quick to demand from others they do!
Like they see it done in the movies.
Without the added moans and groans.

In The Spending Of Their Time

People who do not appreciate,
Their blessed lives.
Or those equally blessed,
God places into their lives.

Hopefully,
They will come to eventually realize...
There is an ungrateful self-centeredness,
In the spending of their time.
Hopefully,
They will come to realize...
There is an ungrateful self-centeredness,
In their blinded minds.

No one can be all-knowing,
If one has never been alone.
Or have been on their own...
To know the true meaning of self-evaluation.
Or value emotional devastation.
If one has not,
Opened up that lock.

If no one takes the time to stop,
To take 'inventory' of their stock...
That seems for them to never come,
With a dropping of a blocking...
That stuns and shocks.
They will never know,
How this affects and hurts one so!

Those me-me, I-I activities...
Isolates the mind.
Sickens the body.
And darkens a lost soul.

People who do not appreciate,
Their blessed lives.
Or those equally blessed,
God places into their lives...
Hopefully,
They will come to eventually realize...
There is an ungrateful self-centeredness,
In the spending of their time.
There is an ungrateful self-centeredness,
In their blinded minds.

And...
In time,
When they are left confined...
Behind.
With no one concerned...
What it is in their lives,
Or on their minds.
They will come to learn to yearn!
In the spending of,
Their time.

Initiated to Protect Their Diminshing Freedoms

Too few too long,
Have not been listened to.
Those few so strong and brave,
Have sacrificed their lives..
And unafraid to raise their voices,
High.
Are not on these scenes,
To be demeaned anymore.

Too many convinced,
Their way of life defended...
To them had made sense.
With an allowing to leave them,
To be indifferent.
And all today who now can see,
Have come to realize...
Their priorities lived have been deceived.

Too few too long,
Have not been listened to.
Those few so strong and brave,
Have sacrificed their lives..
And unafraid to raise their voices,
High.
Are not on these scenes,
To be demeaned anymore.

And now today no one can escape,
What has been valued...
Has been reappraised.
With a wish for comprehension,
And a spreading of empathy will come their way...
As more and more on warring shores,
Find themselves caught up...
To free their minds,
From a raging craze that with them stays.
Initiated to protect their diminshing freedoms.

Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a pastime paradise
Theyve been wasting most their time
Glorifying days long gone behind
Theyve been wasting most their days
In remembrance of ignorance oldest praise
Tell me who of them will come to be
How many of them are you and me
Dissipation
Race relations
Consolation
Segregation
Dispensation

Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a future paradise
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a future paradise

When the savior of love will come to stay
Tell me who of them will come to be
How many of them are you and me

In Celebration Of A Holiday

Yes I am a veteran,
Of a life given that is well experienced.
And on Memorial Day,
I think of my parents, grandparents...
And lives of my ancestors also veterans,
Of living lives in the doing for others.

My mind on this day,
Is not only on those who sacrificed their lives...
Wearing a uniform to serve time in the military.
I think of those who have sacrificed their lives,
For beliefs kept many today take for granted...
Just to eat and drink in celebration of a holiday.
Only to be glad to spend time away,
From a regular routine.

Yes I am a veteran,
Of a life given that is well experienced.
And on Memorial Day,
I think of my parents, grandparents...
And lives of my ancestors also veterans,
Of living lives in the doing for others.
And the doing for others many who have passed on,
And done...
Should on this day be always remembered.

And as far as wars, destruction and the loss of life goes?
There is nothing about the act of it that is worthy of celebration.
However...
The showing of an appreciation is a more honorable expression,
Than the rushing to feed one's greed as a priority...
To prove a loyalty in the doing of it!

With Perfect Relation

Life indeed is with purpose
Dog's life you think and suppose
What does it do? Eats only and barks
Yet the name attached with loyalty and sparks

Life can't be part time
It has purpose sometimes
Prove true to your conscious
Work steady but continuous

Life has mission
It may have many things for admission
For true confession
Yet it can not be called profession

Life is not practiced
It is promised
With noble act
The basic need in fact

It is gift from almighty
Let us make it as beauty
Beauty with difference
To live with in its presence

It can never be burden
As it may have many angles in shapes even
Sad, happiness and separation
To be enjoyed with perfect relation

Glittering Prize

Shine on, shine the light on me,
In all of my life so that much more I see
In the light of his love
In the light of reflection
Oh what a world
Or sometimes oh so it seems
Eyes in the skies
In that silver gift friendship
A glittering prize
Is it the prize of lost loves
They can remember quiet sides of midnight
They can remember the attraction of fame
Like a glittering prize
I saw up on a clear day
First taking hearts
Then our last breath away
Always came a time - time was on our side
We were spending time - we were staring out
Catch me in a dream - captured all in heart
We were spending time - we were staring out
Could there ever be - ever more than one
Its called an act of love
Can you you never stop?
Shine on, shine the light on me,
In all of my life
So much more I see
Like a glittering prize
I saw you up on a clear day
First taking heart then our last breath away
Only on a clear day coming into our lives
See it in the eye - satellite skies
We were spending time - we were staring out
Take in, take in more - the endless breath away
We were spending time - we were staring out
Could there ever be - ever more than one
Its called an act of love
Can you you never stop?
Always on a clear day
Crashing into our lives
Is it the price of love
Like a glittering prize
Always on a clear day
Crashing into our lives
With your love
Only on a clear day

In The Will of God

We are part of God’s Sovereign Plan; every saved and willing man,
To reach the heart of every nation, with God’s Hope and Salvation.
Even when we don’t understand, the ways of God’s Guiding Hand,
Through the darkest of the night, we are used as His guiding light.
God’s guiding light to the world, with a message of Hope to herald,

The Lord wills in our life my friend, what shall bring His perfect end,
God guides us safely place to place, with His Mercy and His Grace.
Sustained for the Purpose of God, wherever God’s will has us trod.
As forgiven sinners to proclaim, His Salvation in our Savior’s Name,
As men begin to view our life, He turns their hearts to Jesus Christ.

By Christ Jesus, we are set apart, used by The Holy Spirit to impart,
The Gospel Message to everyone, drawing men to God’s Own Son,
Through our new life devoted to, The Lord who died for me and you.
The plan that God has for us, begins when in Him we place our trust,
Which all began way back in time; as an eternal part of God’s design.

As we live our lives in God’s Truth, we become for God, living proof,
That He who died and rose again, lives in the heart of believing men.
Moving sinners just like you and me, to focus their minds on eternity,
As the larger point of God’s plan, is Eternal Life for every single man,
To be redeemed by Christ our Lord, and to live with God forevermore.

Those Slow To Learn Their Lessons

So many years have passed.
And so many have lived their lives,
Being led down the wrong paths...
To one day discover,
As if the clouds have been removed...
From clearing eyes and minds,
To realize those tasks and evil misdeeds...
Done to others in times left behind,
Should have never by them...
The focus of their attention given.
But...
It was.

And those who had been picked,
For those misdeeds done determined...
To have been fit and appropriate,
Might have also awakened with a change of mind.

Perhaps for them they were willing once 'then' to forgive,
But today they may be more convinced...
That those slow to learn their lessons as quick,
Are deserving of repeated teachings...
Until such doing has become satisfying to please.
And those messages they attempted to deliver,
Are guaranteed to have been received.

'I don't understand why I am the one,
Treated in such an offensive manner.'

~Don't worry about it.
You're not the only one who suffers,
From a selective memory.
All you have to do is connect the dots.
What have you done,
That you wish had been forgotten? ~

'I don't remember.'

~Apparently someone you afflicted does.
And has chosen this moment to test.
Until your mind connects.~
