You Can Not Have It Both Ways

You can not have it both ways.
You can not market decadence.
And then preach about its ill affects.
Especially when you have enjoyed it the best!

You can not sit in judgement to condemn.
When every rule and law that is made...
You are the first to be found breaking them!

You can not profess what should be right for others...
When you do what you please,
Wherever you wish to express your druthers.

And you are certainly no example,
To a way of life you defend.
When standards you believe should be followed...
You can not uphold yourself.
If you begged, steal or borrowed.
Without becoming offensive about your whims.

And deceit and stealing...
Are not unfamiliar to you!
In fact...
Did you not teach how,
To succeed using that?
Aren't you the one to climb to heights...
By keeping others back?

Would you like to redo,
Your own tainted tracks?

Effective Etiquette

Representing a decadence this is...
Represents its existence,
As it is and this is clear.

To uphold values and standards,
Many rush to come to defend...
Is hypocritical in presentation.
When a marketing of decadence,
Does not offend.

Until...
One elected,
To sit in a prestigious position...
Lies and denies a taste for lust.
With an innocence trusted,
Adored by those upper crust.

But...
That trust becomes busted.
And pretentiousness kept,
Becomes betrayed.

And those who know...
Their values and standards,
Meet an acquired effective etiquette...
Are seen to be embarrassed,
By a smearing done to their politcal correctness!

Oh...
What a feeble web they live to weave.

How Did These Realities Begin

It has become for them easy,
To finger point, backstab, ridicule and blame.
With a dumping done of a nonsense,
To defame and shame...
Those who make attempts to correct,
The havoc of the ones who have chosen excuses...
To defend.

Relieving themselves of accountability.
And a history of backing themselves up against a wall.

But how can they explain,
An extravagant taste to market and promote decadence...
As a way of life advertised and enforced.
And a cause and reason.
For their failures they now wish to divorce.

And every bit of this has been a conscious effort to implement,
As standards they value with a pride they prize.
If not...
How did these realities begin,
For them to deny their existence.
As they stood on the backs,
Of those they held to suppress and attack to climb to heights.
To achieve the pinnacle...
Of accusations?

Uncomprehending the Healing Aspects of Listening

Starting all over again to make things better,
Will do...
What?
Make things better?
And for who?
The very same people who allowed destruction?
Those responsible for the creation of conflict?

People refuse to identify themselves,
As the culprits!
Or deny they hand picked their own enemies.
To refer to them as terrorists.

Who began the outsourcing of jobs?
To send them away,
At the expense of cheaper labor.
Whose products were deemed inferior made?
So other products would be savored.
Who began the marketing of decadence?
To find money easier to be had and spent!
Who stood by to watch unruly children?
As disrespect was ushered in...
With a greeding of deceit,
Making a mockery of discipline!

And the rise of racism is on their own land.
The affects of this,
They themselves began.

What is it they wish to do?
Make things better?
And for who?

Aren't these the same people who made it clear...
Their way of life was much endeared.
Aren't these the same people,
Who had values and standards...
Better than those they now say they fear?

What is it they wish to do?
Make things better?
And for who?

A self examination has of yet for them to begin.
This should be prioritized as a revelation for them.
But they remain in denial.
Uncomprehending the healing aspects of listening.

A mindset rehabilitated,
Is what people need.
A mindset rehabilitated,
Is what people need.
A mindset rehabilitated,
Is what people need.

Song: On Borrowed Time

We're all living on borrowed time,
Near the brooding sea and brine.
And we grow our primate's spine,
In every clime.

Since we crawled out from 'neath the grime,
And evolved to a species – prime.
We've been living on borrowed time,
On borrowed time.

On borrowed time. We feed and dine.
On borrowed time. In swill like swine.
On borrowed time. We sup our wine.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

On borrowed time. In slow decline.
On borrowed time. No season shines.
On borrowed time. No reason rhymes.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

We're all living on borrowed time,
Acting out our roles in mime,
As if you cannot tell that I'm confused.
We're all living on borrowed time,
And we're captured hook and line.
Enraptured lives entwine as minds unloose.

On borrowed time, by frantic chime,
Of doomsday clocks and scam sub-prime.
On borrowed time, we count the dime.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

From that day of Eve's droll crime,
When dull Adam su*ked the lime,
We've been living on borrowed time,
On borrowed time.

On borrowed time. By dread defined.
On borrowed time. Knee-deep in slime.
On borrowed time. We moan and whine.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

On borrowed time. To heights sublime.
On borrowed time. Statistics climb.
On borrowed time. Who reads the signs?
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

It Is Enjoyed

Just because some things are made to look easy,
Doesn't mean they are.
Because someone enjoys what they do...
Does not mean it is easy for them.
It is enjoyed...
And that is the difference.

There are those who do things and complain.
It may be something simple.
But still their attitudes remain the same.

And there are those who profess to 'like' something...
But the want someone to show them how it is done.
In fact...
If they can find someone to do it for them,
The need for work has been overcomed.

And yet there are those who do things just for a dollar.
That is all they do things for!
And the more money they make...
The more they profess a thing they do is enjoyed!

Golden Rule?

The golden rule?
Those who hold and control the gold...
Will rule.
Those who disbelieve,
And are knee deep in fantasy?
May not wish to think of themselves as fools.
But...
Show me the beef!
No!
Nevermind...
That's tainted.
Show me the way to relief!
And in doing so you will bring me peace.
At least that will not be leased.
Yet!
But those who have found happiness with less...
Will also find themselves free of regret!
And did not do to others,
What others have done without any druthers!

Meaningless At Best

What you once valued...
With standards you elected to perfect,
Have found themselves insignificant.
And meaningless at best.
There is a consciousness descending,
Rapidly.
And creating an upheaveling of affects.
Yes they are physical.
Yes they are mental.
And behind these times are going to leave you.
If you are not loosening your grip,
On being set...
In your ways.

What you once valued...
With standards you elected to perfect,
Have found themselves insignificant.
And meaningless at best.
There is a consciousness descending,
Rapidly.
And creating an upheaveling of affects.
To struggle against the cosmicness of it,
Will only produce...
More of your foolishness.
Since this has nothing to do with
The emptiness of ritualistic symbolic routines.

In An Utter Panic

Frantic.
In an utter panic.
So confused they are,
By their own policies.
They are now on the attack,
Of those who uphold them.

Believing those of other ethnocentricities,
Aren't as competent to follow through on policy.
The same standards and qualities...
They have long forgotten and do not recognize.
Since their philosophies,
Have become more attached to distractions.
And these distractions,
Have become their satisfactions.

Frantic.
In an utter panic.
So confused they are,
By their own policies.
They are now on the attack,
Of those who uphold them.

And proving themselves to be as blind as bats!
They've succeeded in eroding their own values...
That now have dimmed in broad daylight.
They fight to create their own demise!
With a wish for darkness,
To assist in keeping 'truth' out of their sight.

Frantic.
In an utter panic.
So confused they are,
By their own policies.
They are now on the attack,
Of those who uphold them.

Super Hypocriticalistic

It seems super hypocriticalistic,
That a society actively promoting decadence...
In full televised indecency,
Could express a published public appall...
By those whose very valued standards,
Market this with an eye on ratings...
And dollars made!

And to censor the ones,
To label them as misfits and mavericks...
In opposition to it,
Is a bit puzzling...
For those attempting to find,
That path where those straight and narrow walk.
And what traveling circus,
Are they considered The Main Attraction?

Is this a conflict of interests?
No.
Not necessarily.
But 'insane'...
With a capitalistic YES!
Is...
The reflection given that 'is' unavoidable.

Delusions Of Grandeur

You don't care about nothing
So you don't care about love
If you want me to come back
You'd better change
You'd better give up talking about money
Begin thinking of love
If you want me to come back
You'd better change
You'd better change for the better
It cost more than dollars and cents
Take it from me there's - got to be
An end to this decadence
This decadence
You don't care about people
So you don't care about pain
If you want me to come back
You'd better change
You'd better change for the better
Start using some common sense
Take it from me there's - got to be
An end to this decadence
For decadence - is fatal
It's the beginning of the end
In self-defense
I cannot recommend
This decadence
You don't care about real life
You're too distant and strange
If you want me to come back
You'd better change for the better
It may be rather intense
Stop this caprice, you've got to cease
This fin-de-siecle pretence
For decadence - is fatal
It's the beginning of the end
In consequence
I cannot recommend
This decadence
This decadence
This decadence
This decadence

Because of Their Standards, Values and Interests

You see them?
They are the ones...
The very same people,
Who declared themselves victims...
Of enemies.
And those enemies obstructed,
Their progress and efforts made.
With frustrations that prevented...
Benefits they struggled to get,
For all of the people they represented.

They were supported.
And believed.

You see them?
They are the same folks,
Who knowingly backed themselves into a hole.
With the selling of false goods.
To reveal themselves less than angels.
And adorned with tainted halos.

And in disbelief...
They were comforted by those unconscious.
Who further supported them.
Even stronger.

You see them?
They are the ones,
Who declared they had enemies.
Backed themselves into hole.
Exposed themselves as less than angels.
Fed their greed exclusively.
And in discreet secretly...
Deceived.

And now with heads bowed,
They make public appearances to profess...
Unity is needed and must be addressed.
Since those enemies declared they claimed,
Are preparing to make announcements...
That financial arrangements,
With loans made that must be paid.
Has extended the patience of their 'enemies'.
And those 'enemies' could care less,
What charades played in masquerade...
Is in need of more time,
For a promised kept silence...
To ease unwarranted stress.

Because of their standards, values and interests,
Those less than honest...
Are about to lose even their decadence.
And they are hoping their 'enemies'
Show them more respect...
Than they have shown.
A marketing of decadence...
They confess is a creation they own.
With no discipline to invest,
In the correction of this themselves!

Prude and Quite Priggish

To an obnoxious degree,
They point out irritations and observances
To what they find offensive.
Those who qualify themselves,
The 'Censors' of what is wrong or right.
As they delight in prude and quite priggish behavior.
Immaculate births did not welcome these jerks.
Morons of societies bleeding from the darkened shadows
Of their sluttish whims.
And they have the nerve to elect...
What is good for them,
And their ill bred disrespecting lawless children!
Prude and quite priggish these snobs of moltened characters.
Sliding they do in cesspools oiled by their soiled deeds!
Making attempts to hold onto standards...
And values they flaunt but themselves disbelieve.
Although they wish to restrict those who do not uphold them!
And such nonsense is pomped with medieval circumstance!

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXXV: Rules part 2

What’s the rule, when money could buy
What’s the rule, when power is absolute
What’s the rule, when feeling involved
What’s the rule, when pride is important
What’s the rule, when look affects
What’s the rule, when victory is a must
What’s the rule, when worlds are vain
What’s the rule, people don’t change
What’s the rule, when good is not always right
What’s the rule, freedom is misunderstood
What’s the rule, anger conquers
What’s the rule, past neglected
What’s the rule, crime that committed

Daring To Be Self Righteous

Wouldn't it be great,
If our moods and values...
Had standards that were consistent?
And we weren't judging the depth taken,
Of someone's moral fiber dipped in decadence.
From a point of view that criticizes,
While we live our own hypocritical lives...
Daring to be self righteous,
As we all continue to patronize the height of sleaze.
And doing our best to climb that ladder with ease.
With a feeling to be entitled.

Wouldn't it be great,
If our moods and values...
Had standards that were consistent?
Although when publicized publicly...
There is a need instantly to defend a discipline,
That does not exist.
And when someone admits to us what we can kiss,
Immediately we become appalled.
With a wish to censor the innocence of 'children'...
Who are directly marketed to be as filthy as possible,
With the consent of all claiming to be 'trendy' and progressive.

Wouldn't it be great,
If our moods and values...
Had standards that were consistent?
And there was a benefit to our pretentions,
That were not so obviously seen cracking at the seams.
And our motives were not so obviously confused,
With a making of sense that today is nonexistent.

Consequences Are Blindly Disregarded

Certain 'standards' lived!
To breathe and have a life all their own.
And finding themselves more celebrated,
From origins lifted yet denied fixed in myths.
Like the covers of books representing more to some...
Than introductions that describe content.

Even today,
Where is truth not debated?
Lies are created and worshipped.
And adored without exploration.

And an ease to deceive is received!
Often bitterly.
With apologies squeezed from behind tight lips.
Societies accept this...
'Forgive me for I have sin nonsense.'
An appropriate exchange,
For doing something.
And being totally conscious of the activity.
But hoping someone is weak enough,
To pray a punishment does not smother them in guilt...
IF they do not forgive with a forgetting done!

People believe what they are taught to believe.
Whether fact or contrived fiction.

Not too many seek to experience reality.
The kind that comes from a life lived,
In the pursuit of one's understanding of it.

Most of us are chased away from truth,
To seek protection in churches.
To free us from temptation and solicitous whims.
Sins and the high cost of entertaining them.
And labels are given to those who oppose decadence.

Enabling the 'bah' keeping of sleeping sheep!
And tongues of the ones who remain outspoken,
Shunned.
To be known to everyone as 'freaks'.
Misfits of a conformistic society.

Although the wicked have lead those astray...
Everyday since creation!
There is a loyalty obtained they gain.
And...
They can do it suited in smiles.
Wide and plastic in delivered falsity!
Oh,
And much believed.
As they are followed like pipers down paths,
Of deceit and sorrow.
Daily as if a habit has been permanently attached.

And consequences are blindly disregarded!

Decadent Trends

To intellectualize a decadence meant to market,
With an enforcement of its acceptance...
Says a lot about those who value their way of life,
And self righteous standards that are on a fast decline.

Yet those who are restrictive in mindsets limited,
With an infliction of their policies of censorship that exist...
Seem less serious than foolish.
Since they are the very ones advocating decadent trends.

You Know the Ones

Aren't you tired of the folks who pass judgement?
You know the ones...
Quick to tell you how you should live
Always taking handouts from those they take for granted,
Criticizing the people who take their time to give.

Aren't you sick of those who waste your time to gossip?
You know the ones,
Glued to phones like weapons,
To add fresh lies to what they've heard!
They are nowhere to be found,
To assist 'you' when you need 'them',
But first to arrive to offer a discouraging word.

Aren't you fed up with their lack of time to listen?
Don't you wish they would grow and want to learn?
Even though they blame others for their troubling lives,
They will never feel ashamed,
To express their own limits of concern!
A repeated lesson you have learned?

You know the ones...
With their heads turned!

Heartbreak that can not escape the aching.
Let it go!
