You Can Begin to Think That Over

I don't know where you are going in such a hurry.
I've got the keys.
You can not get there without me.

Unless you now have decided you want to drive?
And as of yet,
You have not proven to accept a lesson to learn,
For your benefit.

Are you rushing to collect more conflicts?
Or you just want to sit and witness,
To say you had been part of an accepting crowd.

And I am not in that kind of a need.
Nor will I enable those of yours.
Not on my time.

So...
You can begin to think that over.
Or you can choose to remain thoughtless.

I Am The Only One With THESE Keys

The first question I would ask,
Of anyone expressing a wish to drive...
Through life without dues to pay.
With only desire in their eyes.
And a request from me to give them my keys,
Is this...
What makes anyone think I will turn over keys,
To something I have earned...
Because the doing of it I have made to look easy?

I've got to witness some sweat with labor done first.
With initiative that has been prioritized.
Life is not a cakewalk...
To choose what frosting to taste to then decide.

'You are not the only one with keys.'

That's true.
But guess what?
I am the only one with THESE keys.

It Was Never Intended

It was never intended,
For communities to build fences...
To seclude and isolate themselves.

But to a very few,
This has become a benefit...
To witness the infighting and conflicts.
As if delighted in the condoning of struggle and strife!

However...
This witnessed benefit,
Has become a saddened sickness...
That has afflicted the doers of this,
With a price ultimately they will pay.

A strength in unity was not perceived...
Even for themselves.
Not in this way that dismays.

It was never intended,
For communities to build fences...
To seclude and isolate themselves.

But to a very few,
This has become a benefit...
To witness the infighting and conflicts.

And...
The experience of remorse that decays,
Those days of brightness greed betrayed...
To lead one astray to seek a feeding,
Of another hunger one now wonders...
Could have been much more fulfilling!

New And Old

when you are new
to this world, you always make the impression
that you know how to choose

you delve on exquisite
and discriminating taste

and you always say what is in your mind
you call a spade a spade
and you prefer the diamonds
and the matters fit for the king and queen

but life is not really like that
you fall and bleed
and you find it hard to accept
these skin and bones
the cartilages and nerves that already
know what cutting and breaking mean

time teaches. time heals.
and you learn to let go

and learn to accept what comes
uninvited, the failures and
unexpected calamities

the words 'no', 'not now' 'please don't'
'why me? '

slowly they do not find relevance anymore
and maturely enough you begin

to say ' well, these things happen'
'sometimes they just come'
'inevitable'

'we just have to learn to accept'
'these are realities'

finally, you become a part of this world.
the answer has always been 'yes, and yes'

come, i am human. Come i am brave.
Come, i am giving. Come, take me. Come, i am ready.

now, you know.

Next To Collect

You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
You could be the next on the list...
To get it and quick.
You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
Tomorrow no one knows,
Just what to expect.

You may be next to collect it!
An overwhelming love received.
You may be next to collect,
A joy that never leaves.
You may be next to collect it!
A one of a kind peace...
On your mind.

You may be next to collect it!
An overwhelming love received.
You may be next to collect,
A joy that never leaves.
You may be next to collect it!
A one of a kind peace...
On your mind.

You may be next to collect,
Just accept you are blessed.

You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
You could be the next on the list...
To get it and quick.

You may be the next to collect it...
An abundance of happiness.
The next to collect.
The next to collect.

You may be the next to collect it...
An abundance of happiness.
The next to collect.
The next to collect.

You may be the next to collect it!

If You Do Not Like The Company.

You have choices, yes or no.
Choose the company or let them go.
But be aware of what they mean for you,
They play out your inner feelings, you are part of their zoo.

If you find out what goes on in their mind,
You can find it in yourself that you are similar kind.
However, you have the choice to accept & play the game,
Or stop that in yourself and they'll disappear without blame.

But, if you try to ignore them, or avoid their company,
Next time you meet a worse trade jeopardy.
They can be tied to you, who cannot be shaken,
They stay with you until your lesson taken.

So, welcome everybody who comes into your realm,
Be kind to them, listen, decide what you choose & stay calm.
Definitely tell them clearly your feelings about that,
Be polite, tell your truth, but be a diplomat.

Hurting others mean hurting yourself,
Hating others mean you hate yourself,
However, being kind & loving means you should know what,
You are the child of the Universe, you cannot do any shortcut.
Specially on the wrong way.

Make it sure

Why is it so to end it in failure?
Why no one can make it sure?
Why it should hinge only on hope?
The show can either be success or flop

It is always hoped against hope
It is considered as tough walking on rope
Hope only keeps us alive
We must nicely learn how to live

It is always better to try hard and forget
The priority must be decided and set
It is not in your hand to predict the success
Yet you are prepared to accept it and face

Life is meant to learn lesson
It has multi dimension with reasons
It depends upon and varies from person to person
That can not be dealt as do the seasons

You will have to remain firm with your commitment
The efforts must be directed towards good movement
It may yield desirable result in due course
Your invaluable contribution is taken into consideration of course

God has given us clear instinct
We have definite choice to act
It is like catching bull by horns
No alternate even if cautioned or warned

It is do or die struggle
Life is proving as mysterious and puzzle
Not all may witness the shining success
Even if they are lucky to have enough access

What's The Need To Save For A Rainy Day?

What's the need to save for a rainy day?
Or keep good dishes to look at,
And never use.
Just to look at...
And never ever use.

To collect good stuff that has never been touched?
Makes little sense when no one visits much,
To appreciate what's valued but does collect dust.
And when those gold trimmed cups begin to rust up,
Who then would wish to sip...
From a cup used that could be chipped on their visit?
I would rather lick tea from a bowl if I knew this.

Whoever got a benefit without a taking of a risk?
Whoever took a risk and not received a benefit?

Just to look at and to never use 'something'...
Like a covering of chairs to plastic wrap,
Who can sit comfortably on top of that?

To look at and to never use 'something'!
What is the risk?
Where's the benefit in this?

What's the need to save for a rainy day?
Or keep good dishes to look at...
And never be used.

Just to look at and to never use 'something'...
Like a covering of chairs to plastic wrap,
Who can sit comfortably on top of that?
Or keep good dishes never touched.
And all they do is collect dust.

What's the need to save for a rainy day?
Or keep good dishes...
To look at and never use.
What is the risk?
Where's the benefit in this?

Give Me The Keys

I can see you've got your motor running
Don't you think you're movin kinda slow
If you feel the way i feel
Let me get behind the wheel
We don't need any destination baby
Anywhere you wanna go
Give me the keys, and i'll drive you crazy
Give me the keys, i'll drive you out of your mind
Honey we don't need no registration
We don't need no license anymore
Let me in the driver's side
And we can take a ride
We don't need to ask directions baby
I know where you wanna go
Give me the keys, and i'll drive you crazy
Give me the keys, i'll drive you out of your mind
Give me the keys, and i'll drive you crazy
Give me the keys, i'll drive you out of your mind
Maybe we'll just ride into the sunset
Drive around til who knows where or when
And when it gets a little dark
We'll find a quiet place to park
And when the sun comes up in the morning baby
Do it all over again

With Conflicts Perceived To Be The Goal To Reach

To comfort with a smothering of lies,
Does one thing.
It keeps the production of deceit,
Thriving to become more respected...
With conflicts perceived to be the goal to reach.
And peace?
Well...
What about it?
It has already proven not to be marketable.
Or of benefit to those greedy.

Teacher Of Lessons

Shouldn't someone expect,
A life of regretting a planting of misdeeds.
After they have discovered,
The one person they decided to pick on...
Was not the person they thought.
But was a lover of playing cat and mouse.

And that one person they decided to pick on...
Decided not to be the turn the other cheek,
Forgiving kind.
Oh no.
This one decided it was time to teach a mind.

And had in fact been a teacher of lessons.
With a knack of customizing lesson plans.
Suitable to be understood,
As to 'who' one should have left alone.
To make it clear it is best not to judge a book,
By its cover for effective results to get.
Especially if one is not familiar with the contents.

Shouldn't someone expect,
A life of regretting...
After they have discovered,
The one person they decided to pick on...
Has long been a master of human interaction.

And...
Had in fact,
Been a teacher of lessons.
With a knack of customizing lesson plans.
Some less painful to accept when delivered direct,
Than those taught unexpectedly to leave the student...
Frrling unsure what test is coming next.

Why do some people pick those to be subjected,
They believe to them will be easy to shame...
With a branding of a quick defamation.

Hetuaght me a lesson

He said he was going to
teach me a lesson.
I needed to no some things.

The lesson was rape.
But he said it was a game.
He said I had to learn sometime.

When he'd finished.
He smiled and said.
This happens to
Stupid little girls
All the time.
I was only teaching you a lesson.

If it was a lesson to learn
It was one well tuaght.
Be weary of who you trust.

For you never can
Read people like a book.
If you could
The world would be safe.

It was a lesson hard learned.
One that still remains today.
Its a lesson that effects me still.

I only wish I could
Of turned and run.

Only when your young
Like that you dont
Really understand.
If I did
I would of ran.
A thousand miles a way.
Out of reach.
And out of harms way.

Slipping Away to Fade

Stripped quick from being significant.
A relevance is slipping away.
Upgraded is the consciousness.
And the importance of it has come to stay.

It is difficult to suppress,
Truth when truth is sought and confessed.
And pointless it is to try to hide it too...
When beliefs once known have shown new roots.
With a growing that leaves clear and fresh air to breathe.

Stripped quick from being significant.
A relevance is slipping away.
Upgraded is the consciousness.
And the importance of it has come to stay.

And we have been chosen to witness it.
And we who have come to benefit from this,
Will rise like flowers reaching up from concrete.
Becoming part of that which yesterday was not possible.
Not when solutions were ignored to correct,
Cracks appearing on city streets.

With powers unlimited and abilities unrestricted...
By useless conflicts inflicted to deceive.
With minds now uplifted no longer accepting this,
As part of life and the experience of it.

Stripped quick from being significant.
A relevance to stick,
Is slipping away.
Slipping away to fade.

The Flower and Bee

“Who are you? ” said the rose to the bee.
“What’s it to you? ” said he arrogantly.
“Well, I don’t know who the hell you are,
and why you’re stealing my special nectar.”

“Don’t you realise that I’ve come from afar
just to collect your special nectar.”
“Good manners cost nothing and that’s a fact,
and a little respect would see to that.”

“I’m in a hurry and haven’t got time for this,
I have many pick-ups that I just can’t miss;
and I take exception to being called a thief
after all said and done I bring you relief.

It’s a simple case of I help you and you help me,
an excepted procedure for the flower and bee.
“I know perfectly well the procedures Mr Bee,
all that I’m asking is for common courtesy.

You should politely ask before coming aboard,
consideration for privacy can’t be ignored.”
“I’m sincerely sorry for my thoughtless attitude,
I hope you’ll forgive me for being so rude.”

“Of course Mr Bee, now that you’ve apologised,
good manners will benefit you and your hive.”
“Then may I have your permission to carry on,
I’m busy, busy, busy, and my works never done? ”

Keys To My Heart

(richie mcdonald/kim williams/lonnie wilson)
Heres the keys to my heart
Honey drive me crazy
Take me anywhere you wanna go
Heres the keys to my heart
Honey drive me crazy
Fill it up with love and let it roll
I gotta admit its been wrecked a time or two
A little t.l.c. and itll be brand spanking new
Honey slide on in, Ill let you take it for a spin
Youll like the way it feels when you get behind the wheel
Heres the keys to my heart
Honey drive me crazy
Take me anywhere you wanna go
Heres the keys to my heart
Honey drive me crazy
Fill it up with love and let it roll
If you hear little knocking it might be skipping a beat
When its hugging those curves, it just might overheat
Its got a lifetime guarantee, a hot rod built for speed
So go ahead and let if fly, youll love the way it rides
Heres the keys to my heart
Honey drive me crazy
Take me anywhere you wanna go
Heres the keys to my heart
Honey drive me crazy
Fill it up with love and let it roll
Heres the keys to my heart
Honey drive me crazy
Fill it up with love and let it roll

Pit Stop

Enjoy whatever it is in your life,
You believe supplies a benefit.
And if during your journey,
Limitation is not addressed to arrest
The suppression of freed thought...
You let upset because it is not set free,
As is meant to be.
What fulfillment sought is this?
Especially if you insist...
Limits are welcome to sit and visit!

Can anyone explain this centered implosion wished,
To further drain one's happiness?
Lifted from the pit stop of historical myths.

'If' there is any real benefit lived by anyone...
Would it arrive to those alive,
Sitting...
To claim life is best lived,
By those who choose not to test it!
But accept it as it comes,
As if one should await for an invitation...
To re-energize,
Fill up and drive!

Take The Keys To My Heart

Ive been out on this highway of heartache
Hopin that somewhere down the line
I could find someday who
Could rev me like you do
So grab onto my wheel
And Ill be fine
Take the keys to my heart
And drive me crazy
Ive been runnin on empty way too long
Honey you got the touch
That heats my motor up
Take the keys to my heart
And drive it home
I dont know where this road is gonna lead us
But what a beautiful night for a drive
Baby put your mind at ease
Drop the top and feel the breeze
Just follow all the signs to paradise
Take the keys to my heart
And drive me crazy
Ive been runnin on empty way too long
All that work under the hood
Sure has got it runnin good
Take the keys to my heart
And drive it home
Tonight weve gonna set these wheels on fire
And find out just how far this thing will go
Honey we dont need no map
cause where we are is where its at
Take the keys to my heart
And drive it home
Baby makes my motor yearn
I love to feel that rubber burn
Take the keys to my heart
And drive it home
Drive it home

The Crowd

Words and music by roy orbison and joe melson
I go out with the crowd, I play the game
Pretending out loud but it dont seem the same
For the heart of the crowd is gone from sight
My part of the crowd is not with me tonight
I remember the prom, every dance with you
All the crazy things that we used to do
Sometimes wed wait for a chance
And then wed steal away
From the crowd and the dance to our hideaway
Aww, but youre gone and its not the same old game
I fall apart each time I hear your name
Guess Ill go along with the crowd, Ill make believe
That youll come back to me, run back to me
Hurry back to the crow-ow-ow-owd a-and me-e-e-e-e.

Lived To Witness

No longer do I awaken with questions,
To doubt yesterdays that have gone.
What benefit from this would I get,
If I allowed myself to sit...
And not appreciate each dawn,
Lived to witness that comes along.

Each moment I am given to move ahead,
I do!
And those who refuse truth to do as they choose,
Would not improve my outlook.
What will remaining fixed to reminisce prove?
I have no purpose to value or live 'today' as I exist?

No longer do I awaken with questions,
To doubt yesterdays that have gone.
What benefit from this would I get,
If I allowed myself to sit...
And not appreciate each dawn,
Lived to witness that comes along.

My purpose is to live.
Give.
And from the doing of it,
Receive blessings to me that benefit.

Life Is a Lesson

Life is a lesson.
Don't be afraid to live it!
Take what it gives...
And return to it a thankfulness.

Life is a lesson.
We all have tests to pass.
Some attempt to refuse their tasks.
And fall to to become indignant and crass.

Life is a lesson.
Learn your lessons well.
Some will choose a path to heaven!
Others will curse themselves...
Preferring to address their stressing hell!

Life is a lesson!
Do what is received as given...
And perceive with that,
You are doing you're best!
At least...
You are doing what you can and well!
