So fast and quick...
These moments of time bestowed,
Upon us to live.
Coming to briefly with us sit.
This fragile and priceless,
Treasured jewel.
They barely seem with us to stay,
Family and friends and those sharing.
Before twinkling like flashes,
Of lightening bolts that dance,
To open wide startled eyes.
As if to strike excitement wished not to end,
And then this movement stops abruptly.
As if on a mission to dash to places far away.
To say for some who appreciate this,
With a gratefulness that must be expressed...
On a daily basis as if to confess,
What was done to enjoy and also experience...
Was finally accepted to be loved.

They've Got All Of That In Abundance
Every opportunity they have EVER had,
Has walked amongst them.
Staring them in the face.
Following them home and knocked on their doors.
Offered them a smile and a quick hello.
Sat and stood near them wherever they went.
Or decided not to go to come back,
Had been at their fingertips or within reach.
And even tried to leave them messages,
By telephone.
But...
They did not or could not recognize,
What they had before them on a daily basis...
Right before their eyes,
As opportunities.
Or dreams to them sent.
They saw the experience of it all...
As reasons to complain, blame and find fault.
And the only thing they sought with a seeking to wish...
Is the creating of their own dilemmas and conflicts,
Ignorance, self defeating, deceit, cheating and lies.
And they've got all of that in abundance.
And none of this is in disguise as dreams they wished,
That for them have come true.
And if these 'dreams' were not indeed from them wished,
Why do they for them exist?

Every one of us has moments,
treasured moments to call our own.
They come when we’re not looking,
and linger with us a lifetime.
They bring happiness
that we can look back on,
through our growing years.
No one can steal them from us,
nor taint them in anyway.
They are our treasured moments,
that linger with us,
even when we pray.
They are little time capsules
that hold our world together,
when we are feeling down.
They are the joys we reached,

Save Somebody To Save Yourself.
Crying out, to not be just snuffed out. A pledge from the forgotten son. Truth in so many words can be won. A drive to make you live long enough to see your success. I'm not just trying to impress, but to make you see your work is not in vain. I'm come full on, guns blazing. Ready for everything and anything. A mission to the impossible dream so it seems. But I'm still here, so have no fear. A hero in the making as your hearts already breaking. Staving off the vultures who are waiting for death like its accommodation. No appreciation. Paying just for the ground in which you lay. Please enjoy your stay. Mass of friends and family beneath your feet. What a treat. But eh come on now it is what it is. Forget and forgive, live and let live. So i just dive in where i can, cause it makes feel like a better man. I've been falling in this quick sand and needed a hand. So now its time to embrace other end. So let me be your hero. Let me bring you above the clouds. Hold your head up without doubt. Yeah thats what im all about. Fates have sewn to a world so unknown. Together is definitely better then living for forever. Heart ache comes and goes just like snow. Sometimes just need to be a hero to save yourself. Life is A Dance In The Rain
It's raining, it's quiet, only i can hear the rain,
Freshness of air is invading my breath,
The echo of drops falling, the purity of the sky,
It's giving me peace and relieves my pain.
Sky get open and crying,
Its tears are falling down to us,
To caress our faces with its drops,
To embrace our hearts with the mistery of life.
I want to embrace the rain,
And feel the drops falling on my face,
I want the rain to wash away my sorrows,
And let my fears run away.

Eyes Wide Open
Your eyes are wide open, but yet you don’t see
All the love I have inside of me.
Eyes wide open, but you don’t look around
You don’t open your ears, you don’t hear a sound.
Eyes wide open but the beauties that surround you
Do not seem to exist.
Is it that your eyes on you are playing tricks?
Eyes wide open and yet you have a blank stare.
Have you closed off your mind?
Or you just don’t care.
What can I do to remove that haze
So that on my face you can gaze.

Call For The Next Dance
(for Harry)
How we used to dance together.
The dinner table would be set
With its lyrical sparkle of low light,
the candle would bid us:
Dance!
With mine, your body would move
in all directions,
weaving a poetry of motion
creating – unconsciously-
beautiful memories
that we would summon
with a smile,
not sorrow
when we could not dance
together anymore
Ah, how we loved to dance
In the morning
At noon
In the evening
How we loved to dance
When eternity was ours
in our moments of solitude together
or with a coterie of friends
or even total strangers,
we would dance
You would dance with a swarm of
lithe bodies or stiff ones
As long as I was there
I would watch as your feet pirouetted
as if controlled by some spirit of their own
You loved to dance
And before the next ball
I was snatched as I was about to hurl myself
to your waiting arms
after we were apart for a few days
the few that seemed frustratingly infinite
But the train came too fast, stopped long
(or short) enough to load me and absconded
before I could beg for a chance to say
to you
Goodbye
in the fashion we were accustomed
I wish we could have gone to the
Last Dance
which you skipped
because I could no longer go with you

Lately, I would silently feel you
intuitively hankering for a dance

My Times
There were many times... and
I lived there...
There were many times, that I could not believe...
That such violence... and such abuse's... ever exisited...
But never-the-less... they were my times...
There were many...many times... And I lived them all
So this is my time of acknowledgement
And yes there were many times...
That, I wished those other times...had never exisited
And there were many times...that experience would whisper
and shout...
That the time would come...that these things would be
witnessed
And so this is one of those times...
I tell my family that I do not enjoy...
The times of these denile arguments...
Nor the time nor the necessity...of this conflict...
That those time's had created...
Yet that was the times...in which I lived...
And that I was raised for...
OH... I do not fight that it existed
Nor do I fight that time...
But today I can honestly say
That those times, awakend with-in me away...
That those times prepared me for a way to resist it...
To change it...
To survive it...
To abandon it...
And so here today I take time...
To ponder... to give thanks...
For such a magnificent gift... a majestic blessing like this...
Could never have been had..
Had I not lived in those times....

Poetry should take you to places far beyond what your eyes can see

All you have to do is think and feel

Young Hopeful
There comes a time when tigers sense
A pattern in their lives,
Of being born, of making friends
And adulthood arrives.
From that day on, life's journey turns
To take on one more quest...
When everything inside them yearns
To always do their best.
The playful games seem foolish now...
They feel so out of touch...
To them, they bid a final bow,
Though they were loved so much.
It's time to stand, eyes open wide.
It's time to learn to track.
It's time to hunt at father's side.
