What Has Been Denied

One of the main reasons,
People don't know who they are...
Or can respect others to accept,
Is their approach to life.
And a valued place on false pretensions.

People have been made to believe,
And are convinced...
That reality is to be pretended,
And the more pretentious they are...
The more they reflect a 'version' of reality.
Blindly accepted.

And...
Those who are themselves,
And have lived reality...
From an experiencing of it,
Are perceived as being phony.
Although everything they have done...
Is based upon truth as it is,
And have attempted to deliver it.
But are criticized for being nonconformists.

One of the main reasons,
People don't know who they are...
Or can respect others to accept,
Is their approach to life.

One is taught how to live,
And how to act.
What beliefs to accept,
From those created...
And followed 'faithfully'.

And those who live not accepting,
Those beliefs to follow 'faithfully'...
Seem to live freer lives,
Without having lies to follow.

'Why is there so much conflict in the world.
Why are so many people unhappy? '

That's a good question.
And they are the ones who follow,
Taught beliefs.
Without seeking to live life,
To discover it on their own.
They follow and protest yet accept.

'But,
How can you say that? '

I've learned to stand back,
And observe that which has been denied.
My eyes have been open most of my life,
To see things as they are.
Not what I wish them to be.
With eyes open wide.

And apparently my 'version' has offered me,
A more peaceful co-existence.
And that for me is not phony at all.
I only have one face that I've shown.
Have you ever seen me wearing a mask?
To appease others doing it?

'No.'

You should take yours off.
You'll see exactly what I mean.
When you begin to experience life,
So many become offended.

Empty Promised Land

The clock is ticking on the wall the world is spinning
while the billions work to justify their lives.
They search for meaning in their useless sense of breeding
in their quest for recognition when they die.
Because ego won't permit belief in our mortality
so we manufactured our delusioned lie.
We believe with much conviction in our useless superstition
that our lives are bigger than life.
The man on TV preaches his beliefs to me
and says that I am doomed because I don't think like him.
He asks for contributions for his sermons convolutions,
in return is absolution for your sins.
I watch in disbelief as people try and shed their grief
because they can't accept the things that they've become.
They blindly patronize a dogmatic pack of lies
that tell them Jesus is their chosen one.
Strictly designed for the weak of mind,
not just the working man's opiate anymore.
Paralyzed minds all seeking the sublime
with all doubt ruled out by their faith in the divine.
All of them seeking that same righteous reward.
Weak of mind and born to follow,
do not question the beliefs you swallow.
Eternal life for your belief in man,
welcome to the empty promised land.
Don't think, don't breathe, don't live, just believe.
With no question just devotion lifeless life living in transit

Preferred Distractions

If you have recently discovered,
You have become one of many people...
Who have awakened to ask,
'What is going on? '
And you are dismayed and distraught by it?
Why concern yourself with the facts of life now?

Crawl back into your shell.
Denial hasn't kept you from redecorating.
And those in denial always find a way,
To address their beliefs to keep themselves...
In preferred distractions to attract whatever it is,
They stubbornly keep intact as a reality kept protected.

And who has the right to say,
A reality that affects the lives of everyone...
Is a reality everyone 'should' accept and MUST face?

It's My Life

Refrain:
It's my life
I stand it all alone
Accept my way of living
I live it on my own
It's my life
I try to be so free
'cause freedom is the promise
Of my destiny
It's my life
Oho ohoho
I'm never gonna give it up
Oho ohoho
I never ever lose my aim
Oho ohoho
I'm never gonna give it up
Accept my way of living
It's my life
1.
I am dreaming in the sunshine
I dream of all the people I talked to in my lifetime
Different cultures, different nations
Happy people, lucky people feeling my vibrations
They just told me all the reasons
I have to find my own way, don't change it like the season
It's my life, I live it on my own
Welcome to dangerzone
2.
Like my mother is holding my hand
Whenever I'm alone, music is my best friend
You're my passion, we're together
Music is my life I wanna live with you forever
There's no limit, celebration
Everybody come and dance, feel the fascination
Like a Rolling Stone into the microphone
I live it on my own

Core and Center of Most Complaints

So many people have tortured themselves,
With beliefs they should not be happy.
With mindsets that have been dictated to accept,
To do for others first...
Before doing first for self.

'Oh it is selfish to think of oneself.'
I once was told.
As I sought happiness to be given to me.
While determining who I should accept it from?
With a list of preferences as to how it should be received.

Oh I was messed up mentally as a child.
I took things to mean what they were literally.
Like 'God don't like ugly'.
I later learned this was a figure of speech.
And I use to think people I thought physically ugly...
Had absolutely no chance to impress God.

I was a child.
And folks were seeking everything possible,
To keep my curiousities controlled.
And...
I wasn't having none of it!

So many people have tortured themselves,
With beliefs they should not be happy.
With mindsets that have been dictated to accept,
To do for others first...
Before doing first for self.

This is what living life has taught me...
If there is no happiness within the self?
Don't expect it from someone else.
And...
If you have insecurities and low self esteem?
Do not accuse someone else,
Of not understanding you and treating you mean.

Those elements have been implanted in your mind.
If you aren't spending the time to undo this crime?
Don't attempt to blame someone else,
Because you have been left willfully victimized.
And tied by circumstances to visualize a lack of dollars.
The core and center of most complaints!

Baffled

There are those living
Who actually are convinced
They have power to enforce their beliefs
On other people to accept without objection

And these very same people
Regardless of the kind of enforcement they use
Are baffled that the cost of their attempts
Have their creditors making suggestions
As to what they should sell
To pay off their debts
Created to enforce others
To accept in a bowing done
How a way life lived
In in the best of their interests

Making not a bit of sense
Even to those debating themselves
In campaigns
Over realities they can no longer afford
To have others believe anymore

The same people live...the same people die

The same people live, the same people die,
the same people laugh, the same people cry,
as they push on through, life's open door,
the old and the young, the rich and the poor.

The same people love, the same people hate,
the skeptics of heaven, the mockers of fate,
some use the gun, some just don't choose,
the proud and the vain, they win and they lose.

Death takes them all, the end's all the same,
no one can help us, cause no one's to blame,
When the door shuts and the bright lights go dim,
We all follow the same path and we all go to Him.

The same people live, the same people die,
Some still find wealth, while others get by,
the weak and the strong, the slow and the fast,
alone on life's journey, they all stumble past.

It's been this way, since the beginning of time,
To live...it's a joy, to die...it's a crime,
and still, we question and still, we ask why?
The same people live...the same people die.

The Light of Life

We come to live.
Not to follow as shadows.
We come to reflect...
The best of efforts.
To glow in the giving of respect.

We are here to influence this experience.
In support of others.
Not to distort their paths.
Or bestow upon their journeys...
Obstacles we inject!

We need not wish,
For these acts to be done.
To selfishly benefit!
When eventually...
There is none!

We are individually energized.
All of us are,
By the rays from the Sun.
To appreciate everyone's gifts given!
Not try to take away.
But share, grow and obey.
That which within us is divinely sent.
Minds to adventure.
Not to despise and hide in devilment.
To deceive to end in shadows...
Alone to grieve.

We come to live.
Not to follow as shadows.
We come to reflect...
The best of efforts.
In deeds that are sewn,
To produce an increased 'betterment'.
Making this known as it is shown.

Not to suffer from our deceits.
In belief there comes a gain maintained.
When tears from our eyes produce nothing,
But rain.
And overflowing suffering sustained!

We come to live.
Not to follow as shadows.
To discover too late...
When our 'lights' are turned out,
That darkness awaits our fate.
And that experience...
Is seldom in need of replication!

Dedicated darkness,
Has its own agenda!
And only then do we seem to get the message.
Taught in a silence.
Yet 'missed' when given the light of life!
That should excell in the dedication of growth!

But greed has fed us into blindness!
Behind which we...
Allow ourselves to follow!

The Times We Now Live That Takes Away Breaths

In the disarray of these days we now face,
I keep my concentration focused upon my deeds.
And less upon comments made by others,
About me...
My deeds.
And what beliefs about me they whisper,
To others giving them time to listen.

I could only wish people like that...
A less traumatic awakening.
Since I seek the company,
Of those few who are awake.

To mature AND awaken to accept,
The times we now live that takes away breaths...
In a neck breaking speed,
Is here.
And so blessed is the feeling,
To have one's peace of mind intact!
That's a fact!

And 'that' takes a long time in development.
It comes with experiencing life and not rehearsing it...
As some would think.
Or kept practiced as if to impress.
As some still do!

Life is much too precious to accept foolishness.
And that is...
But just one of the many of the many many lessons...
I have had to learn.

Those 'New To Discover Life' People

Often I am amused by those...
'New To Discover Life' people.
Either they have been rehabiliated in prision.
Or a brick wall they have run into most of their lives,
Suddenly provided them with insight.

Reconditioned to mingle about,
In today's dysfunctional society...
Has instilled within their minds certain beliefs,
That everyone they pass along city streets...
Needs someone who has been recently 'released',
To provide them with guidance and moral comfort.

Often I am amused by those...
'New To Discover Life' people.
Either they have been rehabiliated in prison.
Or a brick wall they have run into most of their lives,
Suddenly provided them with insight.

And those who face and battle their struggles,
On a daily basis...
Without sitting in a cell or running into bricks,
Have been deluded by their lives lived in reality.
And they sit with wishes wanting to hear...
Fables from an ex-con,
Who made choices to live life quick.
And still seeks to live as easy as possible.

Why? (Death part: 1)

Why do people fear me?
Why do the long for the day I appear to them to never come?
Why can't they look at me like a friend, not a foe?
Why do kids think of me and cry?
I am only the next chapter.

Why do people in church pray I shall never come?
Why do they look to god and ask 'what have I done'?
Why do they look above and think 'why must I leave? '?
Why do they want to have eternity?
I would give them just that.

Why can't they look at me and smile?
Why can't they stand side by side with me as friends?
Why can't we all stay together as family?
Why can't we live as one?
That's what we are we live together side by side.

Why can't they know who I am before they hide from my path?
Why can't they look in my eyes and know the truth of me?
Why can't they give me a chance before hiding in my shadows?
Why don't they give me what I deserve, what I need?
For I am just like you. I feel, I want, I need.

Why can't we all live together as a whole?
Why can't we welcome each other into our homes?
Why can't they accept when they have to follow me?
Why can't they follow with pride, with joy?
For I am only leading them to god.

Why do people fear me?
Why do the long for the day I apear to them to never come?
Why can't they look at me like a friend, not a foe?
Why do kids think of me and cry?
I do not want this, I want peace and joy.

Why don't they ask what I want?
Why don't they hear what my needs are?
Why won't they listen?
Why won't they trust me, and love me?
Why? ........Why? ........Why?

Tell All The People

Tell all the people that you see
Follow me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Set them free
Follow me down
You tell them they dont have to run
Were gonna pick up everyone
Come out and take me by my hand
Gonna bury all our troubles in the sand, oh yeah
Cant you see the wonder at your feet
Your lifes complete
Follow me down
Cant you see me growing, get your guns
The time has come
To follow me down
Follow me across the sea
Where milky babies seem to be
Molded, flowing revelry
With the one that set them free
Tell all the people that you see
Its just me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Follow me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Well be free
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Its just me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Follow me
Follow me down
Follow me down
You got to follow me down
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Well be free
Follow me down
Tell all the people you see
Follow me
You got to follow me down

I do not accept any absolute formulas for living. No preconceived code can see ahead to everything that can happen in a man's life. As we live, we grow and our beliefs change. They must change. So I think we should live with this constant discovery. We should be open to this adventure in heightened awareness of living. We should stake our whole existence on our willingness to explore and experience.

Every Day People

Sometimes I'm right then I can be wrong
My own beliefs are in my songs
A butcher, a banker, Jack Irons on drums
Makes no difference what group I'm in
I am everyday people
Then it's the blue ones who can't accept
The green ones for living with
The black ones tryin' to be a skinny one
Different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby dooby
Ooh sha sha
We gotta live together
I am no better and neither are you
We're all the same whatever we do
You love me you hate me
You know me and then
Still can't figure out the scene I'm in
I am everyday people
Then it's the new man
That doesn't like the short man
For being such a rich one
That will not help the poor one
Different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on scooby dooby dooby
Ooh sha sha
We got to live together
There is a yellow one that won't
Accept the black one
That won't accept the red one
That won't accept the white one
Different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and
Scooby dooby dooby
Ooh sha sha

Why do people behave in the ways, they do? (A prose poem)

I cannot understand
why most people behave
in the ways they do at present?
I certainly cannot accept
their logic, reasons, excuses
for doing so, all the time!

But I know that all can
well, certainly behave better,
and still derive pleasure
in life on earth, nevertheless:
Yet, keeping God’s tenets
flawlessly, at the same time.

For,
Words, both good and bad
come out of the same heart
of man by similar efforts;
Deeds, both good and evil
need the same energy and plan
for their execution.

So,
Why can’t people speak and do
the better things in life,
in better ways,
as per their conscience,
even if they cannot
believe in God
or in a superior power
that made us all?

The result is that
one can live naturally,
by free will and yet,
serve the unknown
Lord of the mighty universe,
whether you accept
the truth or not.

Stop Your Peeping Through Those Keyholes

Stop that peeping through those keyholes.
Open the windows and doors you've closed.
And take advantage of the time,
Bestowed upon you...
To stretch your mind.
Do this...
And you are certain to grow.

Stop your peeping through those keyholes.
Get fresh air and let yourself be exposed.
To all that is offered,
Beyond suspicions you guess..
And from rumors heard with gossip proposed.

Follow you must...
Each rising Sun.
From dawn 'til noon...
Until the dusk of twilight,
Invites nightfall that comes.

Stop that peeping through those keyholes.

Don't welcome your troubles,
To undo a happiness...
To chase away on the run.

Stop that peeping just to peek.
Stop that peeping just to peek.
Stop your peeping through those keyholes.

Stop that...
Peepng through those keyholes.
Open your windows and doors shut closed.
Stop that...
Peepng through those keyholes.
And take advantage of a life unlived.
One you have yet to accept.
Or come to know.

Stop your peeping through those keyholes.
And live a life to live to be bold.
Stop your,
Peeping through those keyholes.
And live a life to live that is proudly told.

Stop that peeping just to peek.
Stop that peeping just to peek.
Stop that peeping before you're too old.

Stop that,
Peeping through those keyholes.
And live a life to live to be bold.
Stop your,
Peeping through those keyholes.
And live a life to live that is proudly told.
Live a life to live that is proudly told.
And live a life before you're too old.

Stop that,
Peeping through those keyholes.
And live a life to live to be bold.
Stop your,
Peeping through those keyholes.
And live a life to live that is proudly told.

The court of gentlemen

Some people had forgotten their dreams
Buried it into oblivion deep within
Some people killed their lives
Keep it silence let their wisdom fly
Some people live life’s a destiny
Build name and ride in fame
with obscurity in them’
Some people let go of their spirit of vitality
And chose to live life of’ miserably;

How many of these people cannot find
The reason of loving without leaving
their self-dying
And what else they can do
so much for cry and end up to sigh,
How many of these people who watch the sky
but cannot find nor see the heavens
And what else they can pray
knee after knee on plea but only to die,
How many of these people live justly
but cannot find life’s beauty only cruelty
And what else they can hope for
after the long day of labor for prosperity

Some people will ask the same question
But cannot find the same answer
Some people will not bother for this inquiry
But cannot put aside the pain of reality
Some people may find time and reflect ‘bout it
But still cannot grasp what life has to say

Obstacles Arrive

Adapt.
Accept facts.
Avoid traps of beliefs...
That a picking which is liked from life,
And as perceived...
Is okay to leave behind,
All that is disliked on a path one finds.

Obstacles arrive not as ornaments to wear.
To one day disappear as if,
Not a one had ever been there.

Adapt.
Accept facts.
Avoid traps of beliefs...
That a picking which is liked from life,
As perceived...
Is okay to leave behind,
All that is disliked on a path one finds.

This that is here,
Has been labelled a tree.
See it?
That which is above us,
Has been called a sky!
Can you see it?
Those who stare over there back at us,
Are referred to as people!
You can wave...
It's okay!

And you...
Believe this or not,
Are one of them.
So am I.

Like a you.
Like a me.
Like a we...
Are all a part of a 'they' and a 'them'.
And for all of us...
Obstacles arrive!

Offended And Upset

People have become too complacent.
With a caring not to listen.
Or a caring done to comprehend!
Believing a sleepwalk exercised...
Through rituals and symbolic traditions,
Would appease the majestic mentalities...
That brought them to experience,
Lives they live here on Earth.

A respect not shown,
Is awakening those with a selfish consciousness.
The disrespect shown to one another...
Has more than just neighbors complaining,
About this thoughtlessness.

Guess what else,
Has been offended and upset?
With no patience left...
For anyone to get their act together!

If anyone has not yet accepted,
The depth of their connected realities...
Soon will discover their beliefs to be dispensible.
Since we have been the welcomed guests!
Not the 'creators' of what we believe,
Can be easily deceived.

WE are not the creators of what we see,
That has allowed us to leech...
Maniputively!

Some People

Some people seem to have it all
Some people always have to crawl
Some people pay to be abused
Some people end up destitute
Some people search their souls for truth
Some people try to be of use
Some people pray before they kill
Some people kill just for the thrill
Some people follow one mans vision, some others die on television
Some people build their homes on sand, some people live in garbage cans
Some people think that live is dear, some people hope the end is near
Some people fight for right to life, some people hate to stay alive
Some people dream of life on mars, some people end their life in cars
Some people throw their lives away, some others go on holidays
Some people live and love in vain, some people dont and go insane
Some people always need to win, some other people love to sin
Some people breaking all their vows, some people slashing sacred cows
Some people like to worship stars, some people think the worlds a farce
Some people try to make ends meet, some others end up kissing feet
Some people find their holy grail, some other people go to hell
Some people never catch their breath, some people drink themselves to death
Some people seem to have it all, some people always have to crawl
Some people pay to be abused, some people end up destitute
Some people search their souls for truth
