Voices Growing and Getting Closer
Those today who speak selfishly,
About their issues...
Are further away in pointless distance.
Their words are like mold,
On stale bread.
And the air of freshness from their lips...
Are no longer expected.
Since whatever is heard,
Continues to be nonsense.
Outdated and outdone is their purpose.
And people like this,
Have happily diminished.
Voices growing and getting closer...
Rejoice in a collective effectiveness.

So Much Can Be Accomplished
Substance with content,
To affect with effectiveness...
Is the foundation of meaning.
With a purpose to communicate comprehension.
That's all an open dialogue should be.
And if a listening is done with a priority,
So much can be accomplished...
With an exchange of appreciated awareness!
However...
A stubbornness may have content,
But the affect of it loses its effectiveness,
When a kept patience...
Can no longer be expected to remain justified.

Regurgitating
People are often offended,
By a truth directly spoken.
And often people incriminate,
Those who speak their own minds.
Those with some integrity and also honest,
Without regurgitating what to them has been heard...
Or suggested when hypnotized by fresh gossip splurged,
To affect with purpose and intended to have an effectiveness!

Weep In a Flowerless Place
I walk on the rubble
Hard city concrete
Amid spaced-apart
Solitary trees
In the sad, grey afternoon
Autumn rain,
My shoes are weary and worn
Going down the ancient avenues
Where I paced myself
Broken-hearted a hundred times before.
I’m hungry for love and hope,
But live on the pointless stale bread
Of defeated, lingering memories
And impossible dreams that resurface
With cackling voices of mockery.
If my special friend could find me today,
She would weep in a flowerless place
For what has become of me.

Lost As A Treasured Experience
If it was not meant to be taken seriously,
None of it would have been given to be taken
With a purpose to receive,
And comprehend its meaning.
Instead of comprehending the meaning of it,
It has been left to sit
As of its existence is there to provide,
One a uselessness.
And one who has decided,
That all there is to it was to use
Until the nourishment from it was exhausted.
Then an exhaustion from taking it for granted
Leaves.
If
It was not meant to be taken seriously,
What is the purpose for any of it to exist.
Just to please the existing of the unimportance,
To prioritize an increasing toleration of nonsense.
And
If nonsense continues to increase,
The purpose of witnessing any of this
Diminishes in value to be lost as a treasured experience.
Never to have been found worthy of its priceless blessing.

Some People Listen Some People Don't
You judge me before my words can come out
You can’t even look my way
And you leave me with no doubt
You won’t listen to a word I say
And I will never be heard by you
No matter what it is that I do
Some people listen some people don’t
Some people listen some people won’t
You shut me up before I can speak
You shut me up so you can keep me weak
Now I breaking all your rules
That you have made just for me
To keep me away from my history
From my strength and my dignity
Some people listen some people don’t
Some people listen some people won’t
You don’t know how many times I have prayed
That you would hear the words that I have to say
Now get out of the way
Because we no longer have to stay in this prison of the mind
Because we find you guilty of the ultimate crime
Now get out of the way
So that they can hear what I have to say
And begin to make their plans for escape today
Even though you made me a thug,
It is out of love that I put my message out
Find your voice in school and follow the Golden Rule
And shout it out, with out a doubt
That you will be heard, until you are heard
Right down to the very last word
Some people listen some people don’t
Some people listen some people won’t

Serve Fresh Bread Daily (1)
Anointed has a priest to be
Through holy oil the truth to see
Secrets of God they understand
Revealed to them in Jesus’ hand
But some still try to preach of sin
Without God’s Holy Ghost within
Using sweet words none to offend
They’ll only speak of God as friend
A God who’s heart’s so full of peace
His grace and love will never cease
They’ll take great care to choose each word
An angry God is seldom heard
With such stale bread they’ll feed God’s church
No wonder sheep through hunger search
For pastures green, by Jesus led
To a priest not spiritually dead
No priest should preach to fill their purse
Otherwise they’ll reap God’s curse Eze.34: 2
If Christ The Lord we’ll truly please
We’ll seek His face upon our knees
No child of God is mocked for long
Eating stale bread, washed down with song
The Lord sees well His children’s plight
From these shepherds, they’ll take their flight
So priest of God be not deceived
Speak the truth so God’s not grieved
Give through His Son your spiritual best
Then stand aside; He’ll do the rest
When called, you’ll know these words are true
That God awaits much fruit from you –Jn.15: 2
So from the flock that none should fall
Let’s make The Lord our one and all…PTO…

Those Doors Of Those Candy Stores Are Closed
Gone to distance are those days,
Allowed for some people...
To insult the ones,
Of charitable ways.
Gone also...
Is that catering done,
To those with childishness displayed...
With a thoughtlessness exposed,
Publicly in front of everyone.
And packed and gone,
Are roommates who debate...
Their selfishness in stale relationships.
Those who have arrived,
To prize their maturity...
Are not putting up,
With any of this nonsense.
Because,
Number one...
No one has to.
Not me or those selected few who choose.
And...
Number two?
That will be done in the bathroom.
Not all over the place.
Or,
Accepted to be thrown in one's face!
Today?
Not too many people are tolerating,
'Stuff'...
That comes to deliberately,
Stink up...
Their choice to live quiet and peaceful lives.
Gone to distance,
Are those days...
Allowed for some people,
To insult the ones...
Of charitable ways!
Those doors of those candy stores are closed.

With A Standard Sold As Solid Gold
There is more nonsense being rejected today,
Than any other time in people's lives.
And this is the very same nonsense once protected,
To defend...
When it was regarded as a valued commodity 'then'.
With a standard sold as solid gold to hold as it glistened.
But today...
A three dollar bill if found and freshly printed by a circus clown,
Under a tent and on the ground with its image on it...
Would be treasured as having more meaning and purpose,
By those unaware where they are!

Basically Into Themselves
People feel and see,
What directly affects.
If it is not prioritized...
They do not get upset.
When winds change,
And blame is claimed...
Those once unconcerned,
Seek attention on them aimed.
An effectiveness is expected then.
When folks feel inconvenienced,
And their whims become threatened.
But prior to that no complaints are heard.
People are basically into themselves...
Until their own footsteps,
Have been blocked or blurred.
In a collective unity,
People find no comfort in that reality.
That sensibility,
Disturbs their 'selfish' and isolated normalcy!
People feel and see,
What directly affects.
If it is not prioritized...
They do not get upset.
However...
When winds change,
And blame is claimed...
Those once unconcerned,
Seek attention upon them aimed.

The Banshee's Wail
Today, I listened to the banshee's wail
Some believe that to be an old wives' tale
Today, I heard the ringing of the death knell
Dry your tears and say your fond farewell
Today, I grew weak and expired
Another soul, the Grim Reaper acquired
Today, I drew my last breath and died
Burying your face in your hands, you cried
Today, I quietly passed away
Leaving something I failed to say
Today, I met my untimely demise
We didn't get to say our final goodbyes
Today, I silently gave up the ghost
No longer tied to life's whipping post
Today, I came to my life's end
It's a tough thing to comprehend
Today, I went to the hereafter
Think of me only with laughter
Today, I died due to the fall of man
The good Lord has a master plan
Today, I was committed to my simple grave
Rejoice, oh rejoice! Only Jesus can save

Paddington Ear
alone
i made
a call
home
far away
from platform
one
& found
upon
my phone
a family
(half
asleep)
in bed
one half
my wife
one half
my son
& spoke
to both
a wife
i once
(or twice)
had listened
to
(or more)
a son
i heard
now speak
who wouldn’t
speak before
today it was
the first time
that my son
would speak
today
the first time
i would hear
him speak
today
i heard
my son
speak
today
i heard
my son.

Tales Of A Wayside Inn : Part 2. Interlude IV.
When the long murmur of applause
That greeted the Musician's lay
Had slowly buzzed itself away,
And the long talk of Spectre Ships
That followed died upon their lips
And came unto a natural pause,
'These tales you tell are one and all
Of the Old World,' the Poet said,
'Flowers gathered from a crumbling wall,
Dead leaves that rustle as they fall;
Let me present you in their stead
Something of our New England earth,
A tale which, though of no great worth,
Has still this merit, that it yields
A certain freshness of the fields,
A sweetness as of home-made bread.'
The Student answered: 'Be discreet;
For if the flour be fresh and sound,
And if the bread be light and sweet,
Who careth in what mill 't was ground,
Or of what oven felt the heat,
Unless, as old Cervantes said,
You are looking after better bread
Than any that is made of wheat?
You know that people nowadays
To what is old give little praise;
All must be new in prose and verse:
They want hot bread, or something worse,
Fresh every morning, and half baked;
The wholesome bread of yesterday,
Too stale for them, is thrown away,
Nor is their thirst with water slaked.
As oft we see the sky in May
Threaten to rain, and yet not rain,
The Poet's face, before so gay,
Was clouded with a look of pain,
But suddenly brightened up again;
And without further let or stay
He told his tale of yesterday.

Others May Mistake A Duck
I remember being defined,
By...
How I spoke with a wish to be understood.
Pronunciating words with a clarity.
And spoken in the way they were spelled,
As they were meant to be.
I was not the one to accept mediocrity.
I remember being judge by the way I looked.
Where I lived and the interest in others I took.
And what I had to present and didn't.
I was 'out-of-it' to many.
And this was said to me as if to restrict.
I remember putting a stamp on my identity.
And the acceptance of this,
Had been rejected by others who could not then see.
In fact...others would approach me,
As if I had commited treason.
Or had an incurable disease.
People can be cruel when making their assessments.
As if those selected needed to be taught a few lessons.
Today with integrity and my identity intact,
I do not declare my 'Blackness'.
I've always been proud of that.
What is obvious to me needs no announcing of fact.
Or do I oppose those with a host of opinions,
To appear more bold to the ones opposing my goals.
Finished or not they will never be diminished.
I have learned not to pay naysayers any attention.
Or give them time to stretch the limits of their minds.
If others may mistake a duck in wasted debates,
To argue what they see is a parakeet...
Or something else to be caged.
They will have those same issues forever on display.
Regardless how outdated their manifestations,
With them stay.

Within the True Oneness of God, The Almighty!
These truths we behold,
To be self-evident!
On this day...
January 20th 2009,
We have become further enriched,
By an enlightenment...
In which,
A lifting of a broading ray of light...
Appears to those enclosed in shadows,
To unveil a revealing advancement of change!
These truths we behold,
To be self-evident!
The power of ideals,
Has been unlocked...
From a concealment.
Blocked,
It would seem...
By those denying dreams!
And all of those interests...
That had been kept segmented,
In divisions.
Are now professed,
Can no longer be confined to suppress.
By those who sought to keep themselves...
Separate and above the rest!
A collective mindset comes to rejoice!
For the purpose to unite everyone on Earth...
In one voice.
Heard!
To delight within...
The true Oneness of God, The Almighty!

Droning On
Some exist to live...
Within a repeated tiredness.
A routine assured to deliver sameness.
And living each day to address the same issues.
As if nothing on Earth is subjected for change.
Some exist to share conversations,
As if lifted from a script...
With very poor direction!
They, of course
Prefer to remain in leading roles.
And the listener is expected,
To react with excited anticipation!
Knowing what is heard...
Again will put them to sleep!
And awakened by a poke,
To joke...
How thought provoking the exchange.
And meditating on a response...
Was what had taken place.
Although a deep nod...
Is written all over one's face!
And that still leaves no hint,
For one who continues to speak.
Even snoring doesn't keep them,
From droning on!
No matter 'if' the nodding 'is' intended!

Words To Me Mean
words are just word that mean nothing at all as my heart turns cold i can no longer say i care at all to you that may be wrong but to me words are just words that mean nothing at all but to others they are so much more they are words of felling words of hate and joy and worst of all words of hurt but words are just words i could care less at all with words of love, joy, and laughter you can no longer get me down words are just words that no longer hurt at all so no longer let them take charge words are just words of many words of few may cause trouble or cause joy my heart turns cold at the sight of your hate and rejoice with joy at the sight of happiness so you see words are just words that i can no longer take at all

Accept For Those Who They Owe
In a world getting more socially global,
They find their values and standards
Over rated and outdated.
Their isolationistic point of view,
No longer supports their dependency on exports.
And no where is anyone importing their arrogance.
Today more people view them,
With pity than with praise.
Like a child once tolerated...
But time has aged those days.
Even slowly they can not be awakened...
From a deep induced sleep.
To see themselves.
In every aspect of their daily lives...
They are delusional and entertain fantasies.
And those who speak of truth and reality...
Are slandered and despised.
Their way of life does not exist anymore.
Not to those with opened wide eyes.
And they can not see themselves as powerless to this.
They can not see themselves,
No longer number one.
No longer the one kept loved and special...
OR prioritized,
On anyone's list.
Accept for those who they owe!

People Have Done This To Themselves
I miss sincerity.
And my friends and family members,
That shared theirs with me...
Who have moved on to other 'realms'.
I miss sincerity.
Too many today are so dishonest.
When someone opens their mouth,
My first reaction is to disbelieve.
People have done this to themselves.
Not to treasure one's integrity,
Is a sign an identity is lost.
And nothing is valued but delusion.
People have done this to themselves.
To express disrespect and receive it,
As if expected...
Is a quality of life lived not uplifted but diminished.
I miss sincerity.
And my friends and family members,
That shared theirs with me...
Who have moved on to other 'realms' of 'this' experience.
I miss sincerity.
Too many today are so dishonest.
When someone opens their mouth,
My first reaction is to disbelieve,
Not one word but every word said.
People have done this to themselves.
To express disrespect and receive it,
As if expected...
Is a quality of life lived not uplifted but diminished.
