The ten commandments of communication

Verify your ideas before clarification, as to whether the contents of your
communication will really serve the purpose of your communication. Consult others, where appropriate, the communication plan. This will help you decide the audience-based right content, flow, duration and location.

Make clear to the audience the true purpose of communication. Make it known to the audience as to what you want them to do after receiving the inputs from you. It can be just an act, can be an attitudinal change, can be drawing a strategy or plan of action.

Ensure you are in the right set of environment for the communication.
Communication is not effected just by words and gestures, but also by the quality of place where you communicate.

Take into confidence your audience. Encourage them to come out with their experience in the subject of communication. Accordingly polish your ways.

Be sure where to emphasize and where to dilute. Check yourself the
overtones and emphasis on messages conveyed, as audience may not notice.

Avoid being theoretical all through. Give practical examples. Enthuse
audience to come out with problems, connected with the subject and offer, if possible, practical solutions.

Follow up with what you communicate. Ensure audience is with you through the entire communication. Give no impression that you are evaluating their ability to absorb.

Demonstrate that you practice what you preach. Your past experiences may come handy.

Communicate for tomorrow, based on previous learning, enabling the audience visualize new horizons on the subject of communication.

Last, but not the least, seek not to be understood, but to understand. Be a good listener too.

Your conversation...
It's all over the place.

'I'm glad you noticed that.
Because I am responding to you.
I pride myself on listening.
And delivering immediate feedback.

So...
If you have noticed 'my' conversation,
Has been all over the place...
Not making sense OR contact?
Listen to yourself sometimes.
You will find your communication skills,
Way off track.'

So what are you saying?
I don't pay attention?

If you think my conversation is scattered,
And it is just the two of us 'in' one conversation...
And I am responding to 'you'?
You figure that one out by yourself.
Because it is obvious to me,

Should They Be Forgiven

Misunderstandings happen.
But should they be forgiven,
When these scenes are repeated?
With a familiar argument...
Starting again to make even less sense.

Misunderstandings happen.
But should they be forgiven,
When scenes like these are repeated?
To hear the same voice say,
'Let's end this!
And from each other,
Just walk away.'

Some aren't the ones,
Who have a problem with that!
The ones in denial,
Are the ones who keep looking back.
Trying to prove an innocence.
When together time spent,
Neither had been on the same track.

And often having 'chemistry'
Prevents off track distractions.

And it is difficult to say,
To someone once loved...
'Go away.'
But someone should do it.
If misunderstandings continue not to improve,
The communication in a relationship...
That's needing one less fool.

Someone should 'get it' and move on with life quick.
Instead of refusing not to do this,
But stay to annoy until a bitterness gets thick!
With attempts to try enforcing a mending of a split.
And the air reeks of no apparent healing being done,
To avoid any of it.
As those who listen to the same pleas again,
Wish for an immediate bout of amnesia to set in.
Or a door to bolt and cement.

A day without charm

I plead for it and say sorry
It is causing me worry
I couldn't say hello in hurry
Does that look so funny?

Now a day it is loosing its charm
To say 'sorry' is doing less good and more harm
The relation gets strained and doesn't remain warm
You can't embrace your friend in arm

To say “sorry” is fashion of the day
It is easy for person to get out of way
What does it cost for saying fed words?
No one may draw weapons like swords

It is quite amusing and creating uneasiness
It lacks truthfulness and frankness
No one is going to hang you for incidence
Try to avoid it as easy reference

Regret it even if you are late
Admit the mistake and never hate
It is bound to happen with any one
Who are we to commit on every one?

Say it with regret and express sorrow
It will definitely be good for tomorrow
No matter in which manner you express?
It may try to lessen out your stress

This is open courtesy
It doesn’t involve any money
It is pure and simple gesture
We are making it doubly sure

The opponent may get infuriated
The atmosphere may stand vitiated
Some steps will have to be initiated
The balance will be maintained and stand co-related

Let us get straight on the subject
If apology is offered then not to reject
It may amount to be greatness on our part
Well it is nice gesture with very good start

Miracles Can Happen

Keep it simple.
Avoid being stupid,
If...
This is a possibility.
And keep this in mind...
Miracles can happen any time.
Remain faithful.
And welcome the presence of humility.
Some of you will find this to be a stretch.
Especially when so many,
Seem to possess an abundance of ignorance.

However...
And keep this in mind...

A dime spent,

You could have saved...
To collect and value,
The current Age of Worthlessness.

The subject on this love is an object,
And the object is very sound and beautiful;

The Guy Swings a Decent Golf Club

Hey...
The guy swings a decent golf club.
No one can argue about that.
He has had extramarital sex.
The only ones who seem angered...
And upset by it are the women.
As if women were not involved...
And didn't consent to it.

I wouldn't say the men are ecstatic!
But he has added another dimension,
To a sport thought to be for the squeaky clean.

And as for your previous statement...
'When in Rome? '
I'd recommend you leave that alone.
And be thankful his mindset isn't.

He's clearly into hitting little balls...
And obviously has an eye for attractive women.
Those other guys have exposed their drives....
As if boys were toys to be played and preyed.

The Right Girl For Me

I'm looking for a girl who's right for me,
One who knows how to talk intelligently,
She'll laugh at all my jokes,
And ignore the other blokes,
And find that I am just her cup of tea.

The task is not so easy, I have found,
There aren't that many 'right' ones still around,
But if they're out there somewhere,
And if any of them might care,
To find me, then I won't be going to ground.

My charisma can be in itself impressive,
My conversation I know is quite expressive,
I am kind in word and deed,
And I think you will concede,
That I wouldn't be someone who'd be repressive.

I can say that I'm a very balanced chap,
Who, when the going's tough would never flap,
But I'm really keen to find,
A lady of like mind,
Who in fact could quite ideally fill the gap.

So I'm hoping that this lady turns up soon,
Perhaps it could be this very afternoon,
I would greet her with a smile,
Which would certainly beguile,
