That's the only place to take it.
To the limits as it is pushed.
Having that adrenaline,
Under that skin tight and tensed.
With each muscle prepared...
To sit balanced and dared!
As if you've been fenced...
To be forced to make decisions,
Now it is time to convince!

You wish your life fulfilled.

With a boost that goosebumps
To thrill at will.

Not many are willing to live!
They rather discuss who is negative.
And who is undetected but still positive!

Where the air is fresh and sweet.

There is no chemical to use,
To make one feel more complete.
Take your life and make a clean sweep!
Now...
Take that mess you've got to the edge!
Let it dropp and as you watch it...
Make your own pledge,
You will stop the nonsense fed!
And employ your joy...

Everybody is a victim of society
Comedy, tragedy, vaudeville and variety
Pantomime players in the grand tradition
Winners and losers till the intermission

But I think our weird relationship

Precipice
We stand near a precipice
not sure what to do.
Life had given us some hard knocks.
Do we carry on or let go?
Our mind swings like a pendulum
tearing us one-way and then another.
An uneasy choice has to be made
as our footing gets closer to the edge.
There is no hand to hold us back,
no future to pursue,
just an endless treadmill in a long empty life.
We look back for a moment
at what others have done and achieved.
Then we look at ourselves,
and the nothing that is our life.
We step closer to the edge
to the place where there is no coming back
and our miseries will end,
but our mind is filled with doubt
and filling us with questions
before that final step.
Enough to make us hesitate
and step back from the edge.

Down in the water
By the edge of the river
where I ponder my life
just how did I get to this

sweeps away what’s left to the abyss
