To Protect 'Your' Interests
My fellow Americans.
And those of preferred hyphenations.
Listen up!
This is your commander speaking.
It has been brought to my attention,
Many of you have become disgruntled.
Upset!
By the direction I have chosen,
To stir this vessel of imperfection.
However...
This needs clarity.
And many of you have been begging for just that!
As a reminder to those of selective memories.
Not too long ago,
There were those who had jumped ship.
Remember they selfishly pocketed?
With blatant greed and thoughtlessness.
To leave you shocked and dismissed.
Remember it!
Now they secretly wish to return,
As if I am not the one...
Who desires to protect 'your' interests.
You know what a bull does,
When it squats?
Keep that image!
And forget it not!
Remember it.
And don't let your memories stop!
The many of you wishing to review,
Your heartfelt empathies?
Have only one choice.
Accept the truth!
Since it is too late for your to leave.
Snap out of it!
You have no idea,
How tough it has been...
To keep your ridiculous delusions afloat!
On a boat I'm guiding through these stormy seas,
Just on faith and principle.

For Get Her
forget her name
forget her face
forget her kiss
her warm embrace
forget the love that you once knew
remember she has someone new
forget her when they played your song
remember when you cried all night long
forget how close you once were
remember she has chosen him
forget how you memorized her walk
forget the way she used to talk
remember she has gone away
forget her laugh forget her grin
forget the dimples on her chin
remember the way you held her tight
remember shes with him tonight
forget the time that went so fast
forget the love that moved, its past
forget she said she'd leave you never
remember she's gone forever

Please Remember
Time, sometimes the time just slips away
And your left with yesterday
Left with the memories
I, Ill always think of you and smile
And be happy for the time
I had you with me
Though we go our seperate ways
I wont forget so dont forget
The memories we made
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
Please remember, our time together
The time was yours and mine
While we were wild and free
Please remember, please remember me
Goodbye, theres just no sadder word to say
And its sad to walk away
With just the memories
Whos to know what might have been
Well leave behind a life and time
Well never know again
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
And remember, please remember me
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
Please remember, our time together
The time was yours and mine
While we were wild and free
Then remember, please remember me
And how we laugh and how we smile
And how this world was yours and mine
And how a dream was out of reach
I stood by you, you stood by me
We took each day and made it shine
We wrote our names across the sky
We ride so fast, we ride so free
I had you and you had me
Please remember, please remember

Forget his name,
Forget his Face,
Forget his kiss
His warm embrace
Forget the love you once knew
Remember he has someone new
Forget him when they played your song

Memories
Memories of good times
Memories of bad times
Memories of our love
So many memories
Memories of us crying
Memories of us laughing
Memories of our commitment
So many memories
Memories of us hugging
Memories of us kissing
Memories of those late nights
So many memories
Memories of how we met
Memories of how you left
Memories of what you said
So many memories
Why did you leave me
with so many memories
Did you ever realize
that my memories are yours
Everything we did together
stays within our memories
I remember getting hurt
Do you hurt too
Let's make a new memory
that we can both share
Let's love again
in our memories

This Spiraling Cliff
mmm
The subject matter and the topic,
You have chosen to discuss
Is most interesting.
You hint,
That a boat floating
Once with an incompetent commander,
Unaware of it floating towards the edge
Of a waterfall cascading at unquestionable speed.
And had been warned of this danger
Should 'not' be the one found at fault.
Because the waterfall at the time of his leadership
Was not as close as it is today?
And the new commander recently taking helm
Who dares to turn the ship away,
From this spiraling cliff
With reason to believe all aboard,
Face eminent and devastating danger?
Because he represents a vision
That has not been collectively decided,
By those wishing to continue sailing
With scheduled social events to attend?
And
Everyone aboard,
Now hears the thunderous roar of this waterfall?
But pretend the evidence of it does not exist?
I'd like to make this suggestion strongly recommended.
And this is hypothetically speaking,
Of course.
'Of course.'
If everyone 'now' hears,
The thunderous roar of this waterfall...
Wouldn't it be to the best of everyone's interest,
IF they paid attention?
And gave the new commander their support?
'In response to your hypothetical suggested recommendation,
To my 'hypothetical' inquisitive mention of this
Of course.
Giving the new commander that much authority,
Would reveal delusions all aboard 'this' ship
I mean 'the' ship,
Wish to keep to themselves without the embarrassment,
Of admitting
They have standards and values,
They would rather keep to impress others who 'may'
Look upon them with less respect!
And,
They would rather try to convince others,
The new commander has weaknesses
Than to confess an apparent ignorance exposed.
And their severe incompetence to address,
Is a confession.
WHO and WHAT are they trying to protect?
'An 'image' of greatness!
Hypothetically speaking,
Of course.'
Sure.
And hypothetically speaking
Where would the lifejackets be stored,
Aboard 'that' fated ship?
'I have no idea.
I am going back to the upper deck,
To attend tonight's activities.'

Actually I Have Nothing To Say To You
so we meet again and you are seated
next to me
by chance our eyes meet and we remember the times
when once we were together
we were not lovers
we may think we were friends we ate together till the night comes
we drank on the same glass
of wine when our heads began to fly bubbles in the air
you ask me if i remember
how can i forget? it is you and it is always me still
by chance we meet again and
our eyes meet like the headlights
of two cars colliding one dark night
i still remember
there is nothing that hurts that always last
i still remember and i know you also remember
the screeching on the streets and the marks of shocked tires
we do not like to remember that which hurt us both
you have nothing to say and actually to be honest and
blatant about this meeting by chance
i have nothing to say but i could have told you i want simply to forget
you but i can't
forget you and erase you
you always leave this mark that i cannot just hate and believe
that you do not exist at all

I Remember You
I remember you
I remember me
I remember
I remember how things used to be
I remember every word that you said
I remember, how could I forget
I remember, I remember you
(I remember, I remember)
I remember you
I remember your old address
And I remember
How could I forget
I remember thinking how my luck changed
I remember being so amazed
I remember, I remember you
(I remember, I remember)
I remember, I remember you
(I remember, I remember)
I remember you
I remember me
I remember
The way things used to be
I remember how it was that we met
I remember, I will never forget
I remember, I remember you
(I remember, I remember)
I remember, I remember you
(I remember, I remember)
I remember, I remember you
(I remember, I remember)
I remember, I remember you
(I remember, I remember)
I remember, I remember you

i remember your voice

i remember your care

Remember Me
“Remember Me”
When the winter comes
And you feel life’s coldness
Just remember me.
Retain our memories
And sit by your diaries
Sure you’ll find me.
Remember me
When the rain rolls
Down the cloud’s cheek
Like when my tears burnt
My heart so deep.
Remember me
When the sun waves goodbye
And goes searching for a mountain
To sleep behind.
Remember when you forced me to leave
When you made me hide behind grief.
And sure in your diaries you’ll find me.
Remember me
When the rose smiles to the dew
When my heart to yours flew.
Remember when you see our dreams come true
With ones except me and you.
And sure in your diaries you’ll find me.
Remember me
When the baby bird calls the dawn
Fearing darkness,
Wishing light to go on.
Remember my heart calling your love to go on.
Remember me.

Eraser
I want the memory erased
Of all that we used to be
I dont ever want to remember
That saddend side of me.
I never would have wanted to forget
All the love that we shared,
All the memories that we made,
All the times that we cared...
But the memory I remember most
Is the one where you leave
Turning your back on me, and on us
It's the only memory I can see
I can remember all the way back
To when our love amounted to so much
No matter how much I loved you...
It never seemed to be enough.
No time to reconsider
Giving me another second chance
No faith in our love and compassion
No hope for our romance.
You made your choice
And let all we had go.
That's why I want to erase your memory...
And forget all that I know.

Anger and Anguish
You leave these memories you don't need,
To fade away.
Who wants to remember...
People so driven with their no hiding hate.
Who wants to remember...
When truth became for us outdated.
And deceit became the bait,
That was related and we ate it.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...
Anger and anguish.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...
Anger and anguish.
You leave these memories you don't need,
To fade away.
Who wants to remember...
People so driven with their no hiding hate.
Who wants to remember...
When truth became for us outdated.
And deceit became the bait,
That was related and we ate it.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...
Anger and anguish.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...
Anger and anguish.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...
Anger and anguish.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...
Anger and anguish.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...
People in anguish and bitter.
Who wants to remember...
Anger and anguish.
Who wants to remember...
This.
Who wants to remember...

Who wants to remember...
