To Move And Choose This Choice
The decision to leave,
That which has entrapped...
Is heartfelt.
A wounding is done because of that.
A painful admission,
To escape from a comfortable position...
That remains the same unchanged,
And does not feed a mind seeking to expand.
Desiring to breathe fresh air not there...
Begins a choking on a hold enforced.
With a command the mind demands,
To move and choose this choice.
One has to abruptly exit.
Without a necessity one believes,
To address with messages.
Or...
Betray the 'self' to suffocate from inactive wishes.
No matter how severe the price to be paid.
And choosing this price to pay...
Is not inducive to a life one wants to live effectively.
Regardless how barren the path one begins to walk,
Alone.

Choosing To Walk On The Right Path
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Is going to have its obstacles.
Temptations will be there to tease,
With attempts to weaken.
And faces familiar...
Will appear to critique.
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Isn't an easy decision one makes.
It takes one to break away,
From barriers attached...
That are difficult to unlatch.
Yet...
Can be done to escape those traps.
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Is going to have its obstacles.
And some days will seem impossible.
But that path chosen,
By the one who knows it is correct...
Will never bring to one regret.
If a faith kept is strong.
And an accepting felt within belongs.
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Will prove there to be nothing to fear.
Doubts disappear!
And those things wrong that prick like thorns,
From this right path...
Eventually,
Will be gone!

Dieing Is Not An Option
Dieing is not an option,
When one is upset with life.
I like to think of it as a request,
One makes...
When a darkness begins,
To shield one from the light!
We all are born receiving gifts,
To experience our lives as we choose...
And like.
Some refuse to believe they have chosen,
To follow another on a path.
Instead of selecting,
A happiness grabbed for them that will last.
And that is not easy when variety,
Appears to confuse the mind of some.
Especially when discipline and devotion,
Seem to compete with those who have more fun.
But...
Dieing is not an option,
When one is upset with life.
I like to think of it as a request,
One makes...
When a darkness begins,
To shield one from the light!
Desiring with wishes!
Assisted by dreams one wants fulfilled,
Keeps one motivated to achieve and accomplish.
Experiencing the adventure...
Of acquiring skills.
And doing what one likes...
Is a thrill no one consciously,
Wants to see end or kill!
Dieing is not an option,
When one is upset with life.
I like to think of it as a request,
One makes...
When a darkness begins,
To shield one from the light!
'Excuse me,
I know you have decided...
To take your own life.
However...
Do you mind,
Taking it eleswhere?
And away from my sight?
Over there feel free to complain.
And do as much of it as you like!
But doing it around me,
You see...
For that I have no appetite.'

The Price You Pay
(bruce springsteen)
You make up your mind, you choose the chance you take
You ride to where the highway ends and the desert breaks
Out on through an open road you ride until the day
You learn to sleep at night with the price you pay
Now with their hands held high, they reached out for the open skies
And then with their last breath
They built the roads they would ride to their deaths
Driving on through the night unable to break away
>from the restless pull of the price you pay
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay
Now theyve come so far and theyve waited so long
Just to end up caught in a dream where everything goes wrong
Where the dark of night holds back the light of the day
And you gotta stand and fight for the price you pay
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay
Little girl down on the strand
With that pretty little baby in your hands
Do you remember the story of the promised land
How he crossed the desert sands
And could not enter the chosen land
On the banks of the river he stayed
To face the price you pay
So let the games start
You better run you little wild heart
You can run through all the nights and all the days
But just across the county line
A stranger passin through put up a sign
That counts so many fallen away
To the price you pay,
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay

As If My Breath Is On Your Neck
Take your time to find my mind.
It is where it has always been.
Here.
With relevance,
You have yet to discover.
And when you do uncover this...
It will still be as fresh!
As fresh to you,
As if we are viewing the developments...
Unfolding.
And you find I can still hold onto your attention,
As if my breath is on your neck.
And yet...
Your dissecting of what has been left,
So long ago...
Remains with you,
Of current interest.
Interesting,
At best.
But not enough to leave me curious.
Take your time to find my mind.
It is where it has always been.
Here.
With relevance,
You have yet to discover.
And when you do...
It will still be as fresh!
As fresh to you,
As if we are viewing the developments...
Unfolding.
And you are holding on in a disbelief.
At my command.
Remember this...
You can not discover,
What another knew existed.
You may try to recover...
From the 'how' what you now know,
Had been already known!
Not only by me but many.
Before you came along...
To find your thoughts had been wrong!
And how I knew.
And you,
Had to pay a price...
To find this out.

I Paid The Price
See notes below
Well Im sick and tired
Of your alibis,
And your indiscreet lies
Just wont get you by,
Over and over and over and over again.
And your family,
Your forced superiority,
Your azure delusions of grandeur,
Are gonna cut you free,
Over and over and over and over again.
Youre as cold as ice.
Ahh, youre not miss nice,
And I paid the price.
Ahh, you can count me out.
Oh, without a doubt,
I paid the price.
And up and down, round, round you go,
But you know one monkey
Dont stop no show.
Its plain to see
Youre in need of help,
But I just cant go on
And whip myself
Over and over and over, over again.
Ahh, you can count me out.
Ahh, without a doubt,
You know, I paid the price.
Ahh, youre not miss nice.
Youre as cold as ice,
And I paid the price.
Yes I did.
You know I did.
And I just wanna know
Whos your sponsor.
I just wanna know, oh,
I just a-wanna know, oh,
I just a-wanna know, oh,
Whos your angel.
{backup singers} [i paid the price.]
Sing the song.
[i paid the price.]
[i paid the price.]
[i paid the price.]
And dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
And dont discriminate your sponsor.
[i paid the price.]
And be good to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Hey, hey!!
[i paid the price.]
Dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
And dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Dont discriminate your sponsor.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Uhh, be good!
[i paid the price.]
Be good to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
I tried for to blow it. (? ? )
[i paid the price.]
I tried for to blow it (? ? ), one more time.
[i paid the price.]
I tried for to blow it (? ? ), one more time.

And youre not miss nice,
And Ive definitely
Paid the price.

I'll Follow My Secret Heart
Don't be afraid I'll betray you
And destroy all the plans you have made
But even your schemes must
Make room for my dreams
So when all I owe you is pain
I'll still have something of my own
A little prize that's mine alone
I'll follow my secret heart
My whole life through
I'll keep all my dreams apart
Till one comes true
No matter what price is paid
What stars may fade above
I'll follow my secret heart
Till I find love
No matter what price is paid
What price is paid
I'll follow my secret heart
Till I find love

Hold Your Position (Stones)
Now here comes the great musical thing called "hold your position"
Rasta, them style ya a just levelment Uncle seen
Hold me position, Just a hold me position
I ya, hold me position, just a hold me position
Go on, hold me position, just a hold me position
Just like Jesus Christ in the valley of decision
Devil come along and tru to deceive man through him
Got him plan from the older one
Him had to hold him position, had to hold him position yeh
Hold him position, had to hold him position
Well rhythm like this makes me and me daughter
Go down at the dance, bubble on the corner
When the rhythm is sweet, we a go hold tighter
Rub-adub like this makes you go one
So you hold your position
Say you hold you position aya
Hold your position, say hold your position
Things and time was a getting slow let off the rhythm
Let the good time roll
Don't bother go a slow and stay a back row
I man come to make the rhythm
Just a rock and flow, because me hold me position
Just a hold me position
Special request to 39 Acker Tree, Frontline, everyman on Kime
UB40 say come and rhyme
Yes, Daddy Stone, me in the dance hall style
So we really come to make it versatile
Because one of a kind we come to blow your mind
So you should hold you position
Yes, hold your position, aya
Hold your position, hold your position
Hold Your Position (cont'd) Stones
Skank steady, Skank Steady
I tell you rock the rhythm
You should skank down steady
You know you say, it heavier than lead
Kinda tougher than tough
You know that Jah, Jah covers
Since he stands over us
So hold your position
Hold your position
Move to the east, and you could a move to the west
Lyrics like this Jab know never go jest
Say chunk ice water say right to your chest
Intercity, outer city everywhere the best you better
Hold you position, just hold your position
Hold you position, say hold your position
Well rhythm like this is really so hot
Let off the vilse because a legal shot
Because we hold our position
Yes, we hold our position aya
Hold our position yes, hold our position
Hold on tight never let go
Tee, ta, tee, say them all in a row
Donkey want water, you should hold him
Joe hold on tight and never let go
Hold your position, just hold your position
Hold your position a ya, just hold your position
Wah dat, hold your position
I say hold your position settle hold your position John
Hold you position Aunty, hold your position
Say hold your position go on
Hold your position, tell them rhythm so crucial
Rhythm so nice like sugar, like a spice
Cause when we a come a dance give you rough, nough, choice
A youth like me should a drive Rolls Royce
Sugar my tea baby, you're irie thought the two of us
Will go to bed cosy
Just a hold me position, hold me position

For Human Greed
We may as well try to find another Planet to live on
Since people they cannot live on the Moon
And Mother Earth the Planet that sustains us
We in our fits of madness choose to ruin.
And perhaps there's not another Planet out there
For human beings to live on and destroy
'Twould seem indeed that the price of human progress
Comes at a cost and the cost seems far too high.
Each day more creatures of extinction endangered
When the land they live on we choose to invade
And extinction sad to say it is forever
For human greed the price has to be paid.
We are paving the way to our own extinction
Where humans live pollution becomes rife
The World will not end with the death of the last human
And Nature will do nicely without human life.
We had better find another Planet to live on
Or become extinct as a species that's our choice
As we are making the Planet we live on for us quite unlivable
For human greed that seems too high a price.

A New Believer
A new Believer within God's hand by God's Grace becomes a new man.
Although your flesh still remains, your inner heart is not the same.
As The Spirit takes up residence, God in your life takes preeminence.
Your heart now becomes incensed by your former life of decadence.
Your desires are no longer the same since The Lord has made a change,
A change by The Grace of God to leave the old path you once had trod.
Saved from your former life of sin, now Christ richly dwells within.
Now that you have died to sin, a new life in Christ Jesus now begins.
Purchased with a special price, The Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
Your life isn't yours anymore, for now you belong to Christ The Lord.
Old ways that taunt your mind need to be dropped and left far behind,
As The Holy Spirit living inside uses God's Word to renew your mind.
When your flesh begins to be weak God is the one you need to seek.
For this battle you feel inside could be that eternal enemy of pride,
And filled with Christ's meekness, God is displayed in our weakness.
God's Grace is sufficient for you and His Grace will see you through.
We died to sin once and for all and we're under Grace not under law,
Sin in us is rendered powerless so we can be tools of Righteousness.
If we are crucified with Jesus we no longer live but He lives in us.
We must offer ourselves as a sacrifice pleasing God and Jesus Christ.
(Copyright ©04/2004)
Stewards of Christ
True stewards for Jesus Christ, must become for God a sacrifice,
Offered up as a living sacrifice, to Jesus who paid sin’s full price,
When as an atonement, God sent Him, to the Cross for all our sin,
And true stewardship, for The Lord, begins in a heart transformed.
This begins with real recognition, by the believer of all of their sin,
Using God’s Word as their Guide, to expose sins we tend to hide,
And those sins, that we recognize, in our hearts, we must despise,
And to God so faithful and just, when we confess, He forgives us.
Repentance also plays a part, when we make changes in our heart,
To turn our life away from sin, applying those changes from within,
Turning us, from wrong to right, moving from the darkness to light,
A choice to make our walk in life, most acceptable to Jesus Christ.
Replacement now comes into view, for us to walk a life brand new,
Replacing those old habits for, those that are pleasing to our Lord,
And as in Christ Jesus we abide, our life becomes more sanctified,
Set apart by Christ to do His will, as God’s plan, Christ does fulfill.
Now a renewing of heart and mind, needs to take place at this time,
As The Word of God dwells richly in, all of those who come to Him,
And as His Word begins to dwell, old sin in us The Spirit shall quell,
As He fills our heart and mind, transformation by God is intertwined.
That’s how The Lord God above, fills faithful believers with His love,
So while upon earth he may be, mindful of God’s purpose eternally,
In making one’s life suitable for, the stewardship of Christ our Lord,
As we faithfully serve Eternal God, as stewards on this earthly sod.

To Be As It Is to Please Those Who Enjoy That
It is what it is!
No matter if one's perception,
Does not reflect
What another should accept.
One who finds comfort...
Whether in chaos or conflict that sits.
If it is what it is,
And those have no problem with it...
Have ceased their explorations.
They express no desire,
To make something else from them...
And for them alone not to fit!
Then one who sees this activity differently,
Has a choice to leave it alone and split.
And in the leaving one discovers,
A peace of mind one takes away...
From that which isn't!
Since others see not.
And that which has been declared as 'is'
Finds its own purpose.
And 'is' to be left alone to be just that!
What it is.
Nothing more will it choose to be.
And choosing to see what is for what it isn't...
Provides no progess at all!
Not for the one seeking fresh...
Instead of familiar stale air which is kept,
As it is left!
To be as it is.
To please those who enjoy that!
Whatever that may be.
That which 'is' that leaves them pleased.

Fixed Like This
Assessing itself to have no outlet,
A mind tired with its allotment...
Begins to burn out.
Choosing to regurgitate a repeated point of view.
And feeling stuck without adventuring...
Beyond the familiarity of daily complaints.
Is a mind fixed like this within a self centeredness.
With wishes for nothing else to do.
Assessing itself to have no outlet,
A mind tired with its allotment...
Begins to burn out.
And very little can be said,
To those with minds encased within thick heads.
And making attempts to convince with opinion,
Eventually will be observed to make no difference.
Determined is this kind of mind to find negativity.

Their Blooming Goes Unaffected
One choosing to retreat from the blossoming of life...
Smothers the development.
And ruins the bloom to gloom!
Often this decay is seen,
And ignored with an acceptance...
Of an expected withering needing to feed.
Like the choking done by the growth of weeds.
And yet this tolerance allowed,
Spreads this seed upon those who follow.
Believing this existence...
Is not an affliction that addicts.
As those decaying prey upon the many who pay...
For their illnesses gone untreated.
On streets,
Where some pass with wishes...
They could sweep and 'delete' these scenes away.
At the expense of indifference...
Shown by those with beliefs,
Their blooming goes unaffected.
And they make choices to leave.
While glancing in disgust!
And observing it as if...
They will remain untouched!
As some choose to cloak these disturbing views,
By shouldering the burden of it.
In subdued submission.
To lock themselves behind walls that box.
Grateful for the safe admission.
To breathe easy and free...
Nurturing themselves,
As if to protect in a flower pot!
Surrounded by a safety net.
And out of harms' way.

Bright Sunny Day
If you wake up in the morning light
Something doesn't seem
or know is right
Lay back and let your feeling show
Come on and let the people know
Oh, that's the price that you pay
Oh, that's the price that you pay.
Just ?? money
Your baby ??
??
Now come on boys,??
Oh, that's the price that you pay
Oh, that's the price that you pay.
Oh, that's the price that you pay
Oh, that's the price that you pay.
Bad news is just an excuse
Get down and
let yourself keep loose
Go on and live for tomorrow
So much spent today in sorrow
Oh, that's the price that you pay
Oh, that's the price that you pay.

Do Not Interrupt My Choice
I do have a choice,
And I make my own decisions.
Do NOT give me 'voice'.
When, in fact...
You're in a position to listen.
And...
If employed,
In a customer service position...
As a 'sales technician',
Like it or not...
Respect my choice.
Do not debate with me,
To stir up conflict...
With my decision.
When I'm given 'voice'...
And I know that voice to be,
Coming from one to indicate superior authority...
Over me!
As if what I decide for my life is not best.
Because I reveal I live on a budget...
And that is confessed how fixed it is.
Do NOT act as if,
I am not aware of it!
By treating me on the telephone,
Where I live is inferior.
And my mind is in a non-thinking zone!
I do have a choice,
And I make my own decisions.
Do NOT give me 'voice'.
When, in fact...
You are in a position to listen.
And...
Do not give me dial tone either.
Because my decision affects your commission.
I am not responsible for your economic condition.
Especially if I can barely satisfy my own!
Do not interrupt my choice,
By disconnecting your voice.

Midwinter Spring
Cloudless sky big and blue,
pale yellow sun warms clear air.
Now comes a new day;
a new season begins,
where winter has been.
Where sorrow has been
a tiny huge shift toward healing,
toward hope.
A new season begins
where winter has been.
Fragile warmth touches chill soil,
tender shoots push toward the surface
seeking nourishing rays.
A new season begins
where winter has been.
A heart slowly opens in tentative inches,
pain still fresh and loud within;
blue sky reaches down.
A new season begins
where winter has been.
The chatter of baby birds
rises on fresh air,
touches the ear, turns the mind.
The heart hears a tiny huge voice consoling.
A new season begins
where winter has been.

Will You Get Outta Here Tryin' to 'Spook' Somebody
Here...
Take this.
It will feed you!
'LOL...
Look, Mac
The joke is on you.
If you don't give us what we want,
Millions will suffer.'
This has usages you will not believe.
'Seriously,
What do you want?
Some change or something.
I think I've got a dollar.
You want it so you can leave me alone! ? '
This bone is so magical,
It will make you belive it's meat.
Thick and juicy when that need begins to creep.
'Here...
Take this two dollars and split.
With that 'wannabee' Edgar Allan Poe' skit!
You don't know how funny you is, du ya?
LOL...
I hope ya'll ain't out here in numbers! '
Perhaps!
And your number just came in.
Put this in water and let it boil hot!
Grab that pot before it cools.
And dropp some salt and pepper,
Ifyagotit in that pot.
And spices and herbs.
Add a vegetable or two.
You'll be amazed what the mind...
In your future can do!
If you let it!
'Man, don't step no closer,
Or I'll have to 'pop' ya!
I don't know who sent you here,
On an aggravation mission.
But I will be fine.
My employer has informed me!
And all of us here today...
Our loyalty and devotion
Will always keep us in good standing!
He has ensure our rights are upheld.
Along with our investments.'
Here. Here...
I am proud you are filled with pride.
However,
Keeping one's dignity is not for the upcoming scenes.
That movie is no longer in play mode!
Think of it,
Think of it as a gift!
A gift towards 'strengthening' your investments.
Also...
Think of it as a tool.
Or a weapon to diffuse confusion.
You'll find it has many usages.
Keep it!
It's yours to do as you wish.
Or...
Wish you had it if you dismiss it!
'Man,
Will you get outta here tryin' to 'spook' somebody,
Dayum! '
And that's a very weak 'Vincent Price' imitation! '
Vincent Price?
You remember Vincent Price?
Then you 'should' have 'some' insight!
If you remember...
Vincent Price!
Vincent Price?
Vincent Price?
You can remember 'thee' Vincent Price?
Then you 'should' have 'some' insight!
If you can remember 'thee' Vincent Price....
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaah.

The Price
There's a price for everything.
And everything has a price.
The cost may be higher.
It is never precise.
A second of pleasure.
For a lifetime of guilt.
Destroying the house,
Of love that God built.
Innocent victims,
Are killed by the blast.
Others they are maimed,
The scars forever they last.
We walk through that door,
Our morals astray,
Not knowing the price,
That will have to be paid.
There is one thing in common.
It's what we all share.
Three nine inch nails,
And the flesh that they teared.
Silent love.
Screaming so loud.
He paid the price.
His father so proud.
The plan was complete
He said, “It is done”
I have paid for your sins
Each and every one.
To accept my free gift.
There's something I ask.
It's a couple requests,
They are simple tasks.
To just love your neighbor,
Like you love yourself.
Put yourself behind others.
Put your pride on the shelf.
When you do something wrong,
You can call on my name.
I'll show you My mercy,
And remove your shame.
My death was the price.
The price that was due.
I paid it in full.
I did it for you.

The Opposite Begins
When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
That one agitated,
Finds an exit and splits.
People known to create conflict,
Seek an attention they don't get...
Until,
The opposite begins.
Opposition steps in.
They pretend a trust to believe,
To have others perceive but...
The opposite begins,
For them.
Wake up and take notice,
That the opposite begins for them.
Those who charade innocence.
The opposite begins for them.
Those masking evil intent.
The opposite begins for them.
When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
Well,
The opposite begins.
The opposite begins.
And...
That one agitated,
Finds an exit and splits.
But then,
The opposite begins.
The opposite begins.
That one who's had it,
Splits and runs into love...
To know the opposite begins,
When someone genuine comes in...
To view.
When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
Well,
The opposite begins.
The opposite begins.
And...
That one who's had it,
Splits and runs into love...
To know the opposite begins,
When someone genuine comes in...
To view.
They want it quick.
And...
When one has had it,
With a havoc that misfits...
To then see someone who genuinely fits,
Well...
The opposite begins pursued.
Oh yes it does.
An opposite begins pursued.
