To Address What Is Best For Our Children
With a beginning to address what is best for our children,
Would a complete isolation of them become protested?
Would a total masquerading to keep them unknown,
Spare them from a mediocrity condoned.
To leave them competent with a rare ability to think.
And will those preferring to raise their children alone,
On their own...
Feel the heat of rejection from those who believe,
Being idealistic is too unreal.
Although a conformity to a normalcy,
Is apparently nonexistent...
The emphasis has been on the marketing of hype.
And not truths to spoil presentations.

See The Children
(la la la la la la la...)
I stopped the car
The other day
I had to ask a little
Girl the way
I thought she'd show me
Better if she got inside
And once inside
I thought i'd taker her
For a little ride...
So i see the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time...
See the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time...
I'm a supermarket santa
Underneath the christmas tree
The little one all like to
Come and sit upon my knee
I have to hold them tightly
'cause they fall to the floor
A little concern ain't
Against the law...
So i see the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time
See the children
(something something something??) all the time
I pass by the infant school
Every single day
I push sweeties through the fence
But the kids just run way
I only want to talk with them
And join in their fun
But all the little children do
Is run run run run run run run run...
(la la la la la la, la la la la la la..etc..)
See the children
Feel the children all the time..
See the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time........

How Archaic Can They Be?
Only children not given attention,
Are out of control.
Spare the rod, spoil the child.
That's what I've always been told.
And the evidence of that,
Is not an assumption!
That's a fact.
A child undisciplined,
Will bring grief in the end.
And those doing their research through books,
Are the ones seen tearfully...
Expressing they've done what they thought it took,
To keep their children from becoming...
Liars, criminals and deceiving petty crooks.
How archaic can they be?
Wanting to whipped their children...
Into respectful human beings?
Only children not given attention,
Are out of control.
Spare the rod, spoil the child.
That's what I've always been told.
And still to this very day,
As the industry of incarceration...
Blooms to a boom without a bust,
There are those who are scholars...
Professing they know a way,
How a restoration of values and standards,
Will eliminate division and the onslaught of decay.
AND return the public's trust.
IF...
We all follow 'their' instructions,
Outlined in their bestselling books!
Instilling within us a more educated way...
To properly train our children to become,
The liars, criminals and deceiving petty crooks...
A decadent society has obviously become.
And with a price to pay.
That's the way it looks!
How archaic can they be?
Wanting to whipped their children...
Into respectful human beings?
Only children not given attention,
Are out of control.
Spare the rod, spoil the child.
That's what I've always been told.

Sonnet: Parents, Neglect Not Thy Children
Parents, tend thou to thy children with care;
Children are now more precious than before;
Like diamond brooch in necklaces, they are;
The family has become nuclear to core.
These are the days of small a family norm;
Accidents kill more than diseases can;
Pampered, unloved remain children in form;
Spare not the rod and spoil not child, O man.
What is the use of all thy hard-earned wealth?
Teach them the sense of values in their life;
Important is their body’s/ mind’s/ soul’s health;
Their problems own, they must face that are rife.
Excessive love will spoil its good purpose;
Too much of shade too makes a plant’s growth worse.

Children
Wonder, children wonder, but it seems that from an early age it is knocked out of them. Conformity overrides possibilities and even reality slowly starts to ascend in their mind as they are processed through the systems, in fact conformity becomes reality. No wonder that wonder slowly and then completely looses its place. Children's freedom to see new possibilities, to invent knew worlds, knew universes is increasingly viewed with suspicion as they age. Even more devastating to the processes of wonder, is the self righteous way we as adults invalidate children's seemingly preternatural ability to know where adults are coming from, to even punish children because they see and say that the emperor has no clothes on. Their natural ability to know others emotional states and to sense when adults are imposing their darkness upon them and others is far superior to our own in many or most ways; until we force them to see through are own adult processed perception. We would be wise to learn from them instead of trying to control them. The experience should be two ways. This is the best way to keep wonder alive while teaching children to understand them self and the world around them. This takes courage for us adults.
As we know, children do not know their place, they are adept at seeing through adult pretenses, masks, false identities, roles, games, hypocrisy, we are so busy shoving our own way of processing the world down their throats that we forget to wonder with them, to be with them. We become fearful of seeing things through their eyes, through the eyes of the child we once were. Darwin, Einstein, both were precocious, slow very slow in their maturity and unable and unwilling to conform, they such as so many other had a prolonged childhood, and a lasting child like way about them, the wondered.

Lonely Children
You go where the wind blows, leading the life you chose
Your destination remains unknown
No one to help you, nobody cares about you
Youre looking for someplace you can call home
Lonely children on the run
Lonely children need someone
Too many questions, you need to answer to them
Your information is so incomplete
You seek directions, you would be lost without them
Dont let them find you lying in the street
Lonely children on the run
Lonely children, lonely, need someone
Someone to talk to
Someone who cares
Someone who listens
Is anyone there?
They may detest you, someday they may arrest you
They stop at nothing to hold you down
You need to be free, but will they ever let you?
They wont be happy till you leave town
Lonely children on the run, run on the run
Lonely children need someone, need someone
Lonely children in the night, cant see the light
Lonely children need a guiding light, dont forget
Lonely children all alone
Lonely children have no home
Lonely children on the run
Hope someday therell be someone
Lonely, lonely children

Refusing To Instill An Obedience
A belligerent disposition,
Does not overnight occur or begin.
It has been fostered and condoned in doses.
And began as something noticed,
Regarded as cute!
Especially bestowed upon 'precious' and precocious...
Sweet and adorable manipulative children!
'You are too strict on your children.
All children that age display stubborn independence.'
~I don't consider talking back, throwing tantrums...
In a public display to get their way.
I will spoil them to a certain point.
But a listening to me will be done!
And,
They 'will' obey!
How you raise 'your' children...
Is not how mine will be raised.
In other words...
You stay out of this! ~
Refusing to instill an obedience,
That is respectfully applied...
Undenied.
Without a firm authority...
And at times felt on one's backside,
Can lead to an expensive lifelong embarrassment.
And making attempts to calm unruly kids...
Undisciplined by parents who appear in schools,
To defend what they did...
Ultimately finds someone sobbing in tears,
When a sentence to spend time behind bars...
Is given to a 'child' to sit for years in a prison.
For acts of mugging or threatening with weapons to rob!
If in fact,
Not for violent attacks that left behind someone murdered.

Children’s Day,2009
Our children are the gift from God;
You spoil the child by sparing rod;
The priceless wealth from Heav’n above,
That are being aborted now!
Children must be brought up with care;
They have the right to food and air;
Yet, freedom is seldom given;
To begging alms, some are driven!
Children need to learn and to play;
God dwells in them, some always say;
No home is complete without them;
They’re matrimony’s diadem!
How some struggle to have one child!
Yet some rear them like beasts in wild;
The future of the world depends
On healthy children’s dividends!
But why are children ignored much?
Denied are they love, human touch;
Their lives are lost in umpteen ways;
World’s children pass such sadder days!
O world, wake up from your slumber!
Children are bigger in number;
The health of nations is their health;
World’s children are the planet’s wealth!
Let’s make the world a better place;
Let children wear a smile on face;
Let parents rear them with due care;
Without good children, none can fare!

When Children Pray
Children only kneel when some incident causes great fear
Children only cry when they feel alone and threatened
Children live by a strong faith that is scare these days
Children will bare any type of pain if they feel it will ease the hate
And those times when children pray those times are when god can do nothing but, obey
Children the ask for happiness and they are the light of day
Yet we let millions of these treasures starve for attention
Children look at war but, look away
Its times like these when children prayers save the day
In this world of lost souls what more could one wish for than just pure hope
They are bright as stars that glitter
And all they shed is grace
With sticky fingers from exploring the juices mother earth bares
And their innocence laying bare
And simple truths spew from their rosy lips
Children pray but only when they can feel the end is near
And their love is a sudden rush that only causes forgiveness
Perfect smiles they wear upon their face
And children never hold any disgrace
Light shallow dreams of making the world a better place
When children kneel that is for which they will pray
Children only pray when in doubt
And their voices portray light fears
All a child wants to see is the new day break
And when that thought is threatened children kneel and pray

I See This Negligence In Children's Eyes
'Where is 'my' beginning? '
I see this negligence in children's eyes.
I see their intelligent minds ignored,
By unfocused parents...
Who believe raising their children,
Is a chore assigned.
And not blessed by The Divine,
By design and...
Who art in heaven.
'Where is 'my' beginning?
To receive the attention I am not getting.'
And I don't wonder why,
When these children grow denied...
They despise their parents!
Or 'whoever' raises this sense of hate,
Created within their minds to find and ignite.
As if to spite their births.
When I recognize what is in those eyes,
From my own experience I use to choose to deny...
I deliberately make eye contact with these children,
Who 'know'...
When someone else perceives their feelings,
And this shows.
To leave them with a quick smile.
And that attention given!

Future of the Country
Tears in the eyes,
Fear on the face,
I often see children working,
Roads being there workplace.
Unwillingly doing work,
By the fear of being scolded
Or beaten by their employers
I see children working for bread.
Messy hair, torn clothes,
Children walking bare feet
And working really hard
Not caring about the rain or heat.
Children doing all sorts of jobs
Including selling and begging.
I have also seen children
Cleaning cars for an earning.
I feel sorry for them.
I feel it is very unfair,
That people make children work
When they should take their care.
Children are delicate,
We must care for them.
For every child in the world
Is as precious as a gem.
At least thinking about the country,
We must stop child labour.
We must stop burdening the children
As they are the country's future.

Sweet Children
See a young girl so soft and blonde.
Doesnt attack me but she did once.
Intoxications in her veins.
Sweet young boy plays with her brain.
Lydiall bring to life.
What are your chance not to oblige.
Putting his hand on her thigh.
Ability has now been ripped.
Take it away, Id rather sit.
Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. remember when.
Johnnys playing fun and games, or else hes ? in the storage shed? .
Running from the light of day, or maybe lie and celebrate.
The funny circus from his head.
Follow me if you understand.
Ill trick her so shell do it.
Then Ill sing and now we run.
Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. remember when.
Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. remember when.

Children Of The Land
Written by james young
Lead vocals by james young
Children of the land
Dont wear a frown upon your face
Come on and join your hands
Were all a part of the human race
The music is here
To let you leave your fears behind
Come on along dont do me wrong
Lets see what you might find
Children of the land
Children of the land
Dont misunderstand
Were all children of the land
Dont trust anyone else
To run your life and set your goals
Youve gotta be able to live with yourself
When you are getting old
Others are getting blamed
For messing your life around
Its your own fault if you complain
For letting it get you down
Children of the land
Children of the land
Dont misunderstand
Were all children of the land
Children - come on children now
Children - yeah
Children - I said children yeah
Children - come on children now
Children - of the land
Children - of the land
Children - I said of the land

Immolated
Children of my happier prime,
When One yet lived with me, and threw
Her rainbow over life and time,
Even Hope, my bride, and mother to you!
O, nurtured in sweet pastoral air,
And fed on flowers and light and dew
Of morning meadows -spare, ah, spare
Reproach; spare, and upbraid me not
That, yielding scarce to reckless mood,
But jealous of your future lot,
I sealed you in a fate subdued.
Have I not saved you from the dread
Theft, and ignoring which need be
The triumph of the insincere
Unanimous Mediocrity?
Rest, therefore, free from all despite,
Snugged in the arms of comfortable night.

What Would The Children Think
She wakes up in the morning with the new sunrise
Looks at her husband sleeping still
Inside she cries
She makes the children breakfast
Gets them on their way
Watching them through the window
She prepares to face another day
Then her husband tells her
That he wont be home til late
Theres so much work hell have to stay behind
But she knows it isnt work thats on his mind
But still hell never leave her
Cause what would the children think
Where would the children go
What would the children do
If they knew the way it was
But theyll never learn because
What would the children think
Where would the children think
At the gate she kissed him
And watched him walk
Hoping this small charade
Will stop the neighbors talk
She turns to hide a tear
Inside her gilded cage
She cries for the love she could not hold
And lost to someone half her age
Then her pride and breakin heart
Tell her to run away
But she values what shes got a little more
Two kids, one 9 and nearly 4
And she would never leave them cause
What would the children think
Where would the children go
What would the children do
If they knew the way it was
But theyll never learn because
What would the children think
Where would the children think
What would the children think
Where would the children go
What would the children do.

Normalcy
A seemingly simple word, this normalcy,
But what it was, isn’t now and will never be.
Walks to school, unlocked doors no more.
Plane flights, trusting nights now not as before.
Normalcy, from now on, what will it decree?
Sadly our children will surely see. As for me,
Today its meaning is of little use
Since it now bespeaks of widespread abuse.

Flashmob It Is
Now they are calling,
A total acceptance of tolerated ignorance...
Condoned and allowed and collectively expressed,
With an addressing of it...
As 'Flashmobbing'.
'How chic and fashionable.'
Perhaps if they supplied the kids,
Guns and bombs and other destructive kits.
Maybe they should call this then...
A reflection of their self hatred and sensitivities,
Aimed to prove they are without identity or dignity.
With a successful escaping,
Of who they are...
From boundaries of their own inabilities...
To face the truth about themselves.
'mmm...
I can't see that on a marquee in lights.
That's too long to get out.
Plus the marketing would be too expensive.
It has no 'flavor'.
You feel me?
Let's just call it 'Flashmob' and leave it alone.
It connects and shows the best of a self degrading.
Plus...
The kids love it.
This is their way to get on TV.
It makes...
News.'
Flashmob it is.
Today's added craze!

We're All God's Children
Album: Peace In The Valley
Here comes a Baptist, here comes a Jew
There goes a Mormon and a Muslim too
I see a Buddist and a Hindu
I see a Catholic and I see you
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
You like the day, and I like the night
He's into country and he's isn't quit
There's folks on the left and the far right
But that doesn't mean that we have to fight
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
White folks, yellow folks, black and tan
On the same planet in the same plan
A feminist woman and a he man
We're all playin' the magic hand
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Oh, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all black and white
We're all precious in his sight
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we all be
One big happy family...
