Through An Administrative Process

Stop and listen.
Learn and heal.

No one 'should' have their life,
Affected adversely...
By someone sitting behind a desk,
Making decisions as to who to destroy next.
Through an administrative process.
To affect one unsuspectong

One should first ask for a copy,
Of those records kept.
To review who has said what and why,
Before one allows oneself to get upset.
This will reveal comments intended to stay concealed.
And that person who deceives for whatever the reason.

Stop and listen.
Learn and heal.
With 'facts',
Before re-acting!
And in the presence of your lawyer.
If laws are still used to protect those with facts.

Stop Look & Listen

I was walking down the street
Just the other day
I caught a glimpse
Of life vivid reality
I saw a man on the street
Had no clothes or shoes
These are signs of the times
Thats what they say
Everybody better
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
To your heart
The prophets of the times
Are written on street car walls
Cant you see them crying
Cant you hear them call
Mother mother children still
Got to grow
Father father where do we go
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
To your heart
Space age assures us life will
Go on
And everybody trying to believe
Forget the future
Think about right now
Somehow seem to be growing
Theme
Prophets of the times
Are written on street car walls
Cant you see them crying
Cant you hear them calling
Mother mother children still have
To grow

To your heart
Space age assures us life will
Go on

Into Themselves

People into themselves,
Live lives delusioned to fantasize.
And they are distracted by facts,
With a hope one day...
A reality they wish to inflict,
Will not restrict with obstacles...
That affect their strides.

It becomes increasingly difficult,
To support and defend...
Those like them.
They are not molded with backbone,
Another could depend.

Fence sitters undecided,
With a self esteem dismissed.
Often are destructive to progress...
With a delaying of it.

And direct they are not.
Deceivers they tend to be.
With a seeking of attention...
To stop a process intended,
That will expose their activity...
Lacking in accountability!

People into themselves,
Live lives delusioned to fantasize.
And they are distracted by facts,
With a hope one day...
A reality they wish to inflict,
Will not restrict with obstacles...
That affect their strides.
Or the need they have to embellish,
From the shadows where they hide.

Strength of interest

Listen for a fun;
Listen for news;
Listen for a reason;
Listen for a probe;
Listen to a scandal;
Listen to learn.
Listen to put it in use.
All evoke interest
And its intensity is
In ascending order.
But to get a listener
Surpasses all those interests.

That story be more than it hides
Please don't let go
Can't we stay for a while?
It's just to hard to say goodbye
Listen to the rain
Aa...ah
Listen listen listen listen listen listen to the rain
Weeping
Oo...ooh oooh ooh oo...ooh
Oo...ooh oooh oh oh

I stand alone in the storm (listen listen)
Suddenly sweet words take hold
(Listen listen)
Hurry they stay for you haven't much time
Open your eyes to the love around you

Heal

[Verse 1]
Even though your near me
I need your far away
To be an ocean, to build another way
[Bridge]
I'l be broken, and i know it
But i just cant seem to find another way
[Chorus]
Though you want to though you try to
You can't stop the rain
For the first time, it's not you
Who can heal me
[Verse 2]
I need some distance
To find another road, Its not so easy
Sorrows such a heavy load.
[Bridge]
I'l be broken, and i know it
But i just cant seem to find another way
[Chorus]
Though you want to though you try to
You can't stop the rain
For the first time, it's not you
Who can heal me
[Verse 3]
Poets say, as time decays
As broken souls were meant
But June will come around again
So my sorrows gonna end
But it's not you...Heal Me
But it's not you...Heal Me
[Chorus]
[Chorus]
Though you want to (though you want to)
though you try to (though you try to)
You can't stop the rain
For the first time, it's not you
Who can heal me
Though you want to (though you want to)
though you try to (though you try to)
You can't stop the rain
For the first time, it's not you
Who can heal me
Heal Me......

Count Yourself Lucky

Every time you frown when I speak and
stop me summarily - I get angry - then
remember the formula to stop my self-
righteous indignation escalating:

Reminding myself I am guilty of doing the
same thing, I also refuse to listen when
you wax boring, we learn not to mention
things we don't want to be hurt about

I also learn to say no when you ask me
to do a thing I heartily detest - your cold
approach teaches to be happy refusing
favours when I feel quite obstinate

After exposure to your caustic refusals
to listen to me! (Can it so bad to listen
to my explanation of Silent Night and
a fiery redhead being unfaithful?

It is only pure, terrible stupidity which
prevents me from doing the same; as
well as lack of natural beauty -
count yourself lucky!)

I learn when I listen
I learn when I read
I learn from children

I learn from animals
I learn from nature
I learn how to breathe
I learn how to live
I learn how to love
I learn how to be a human being

Wobble To A Waddle

Decisions?
When making them,
Be firm.
And if you are not accustomed,
To doing this...
A familiar inconsistency,
Will someday teach you a lesson to learn.

Get off that fence as quick as you can.
Wobble to a waddle...
Until the shaking in your knees,
Free you to stand.

And in the doing of this,
You will get use to it.
With the expectation of comments made,
That something you said or did...
Chased another false friend away.

Get off that fence as quick as you can.
Wobble to a waddle...
Until the shaking in your knees,
Free you to stand.

And when you begin,
To stop seeking approval.
You will never again be afraid...
To move forward with a life,
God gave to you to be brave.

Decisions?
When making them,
Be firm.
And if you are not accustomed,
To doing this...
A familiar inconsistency,
Will someday teach you a lesson to learn.

Let Your judgement fall

Dear God, the friends I hold dear from the very begin
do not know the pain I am in,
some may see the life I am leading
as half a sin, unaware of the soul within

and no words can truly reveal
everything that I know, everything that I feel,
the curses on my integrity my name that rages me
without a way to deal with it, a way to heal

and in the half truths and lies
spread by powerful people as a slandering exercise
poison envelops me like weeds
and although my words and deeds denies

the fabricated facts and I have the power
to against the onslaught stand firm like a steel tower,
have the ability to destroy in return, to debase and to degrade
I do not from my responsibilities or the truth cower

but whom am I mere man to declare war on You,
to shatter your church, to destroy it right out of the blue
with the effects of it having world wide ramifications
even if the facts that I have are reliable and true?

As the men assaulting me, slandering me as a dignified cause
are only men and not without faults or above laws
and should be rendering nobler deeds, be following their creed
not like savage beasts have blood on their paws

l’Envoi
and now I leave them in Your hand
and I am not able to understand
how Christian people can act as this
and with the effect of deeds done I stand,

behold me and let Your judgement fall,
Your destruction fall, on one and all
that has smitten me,
every single one, either large or small.

Sand

If you can heal the symptoms
but not affect the cause
it's quite a bit like trying to heal
the gunshot wound with gauze
if you instead attempt to rest
the pistol from the hand
then I would not be able to
equate my life with sand
Flowing through the hourglass
pushing through the funnel
turn once more and racing
all your siblings for the tunnel
slide like the silicone
embrace you as you fall
then bounce around
and let your brothers
crush you to the wall
I would choose my own religion
worship my own spirit
but if he ever preached to me
I wouldn't want to hear it
I'd drop him a forgotten god
languishing in shame
and then if I hit stormy seas
I'd have myself to blame
If you can heal the symptoms,
but not affect the cause
you can't heal the symptoms

Crosseyed & Painless

Lost my shape-trying to act casual!
Cant stop-i might end up in the hospital
Im changing my shape-i feel like an accident
Theyre back!-to explain their experience
Isnt it weird/looks too obscure to me
Wasting away/and that was their policy
Im ready to leave-i push the fact in front of me
Facts lost-facts are never what they seem to be
Nothing there!-no information left of any kind
Lifting my head-looking for danger signs
There was a line/there was a formula
Sharp as a knife/facts cut a hole in us
There was a line/there was a forula
Sharp as a knife/facts cut a hole in us
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
The feeling returns/whenever we close out eyes
Lifting my head/looking around inside
The island of doubt-its like the taste of medicine
Working by hindsight-got the message from the oxygen
Making a list-find the cost of opportunity
Doing it right-facts are useless in emergencies
The feeling returns/whenever we close out eyes
Lifting my head/looking around inside.
Facts are simple and facts are straight
Facts are lazy and facts are late
Facts all come with points of view
Facts dont do what I want them to
Facts just twist the truth around
Facts are living turned inside out
Facts are getting the best of them
Facts are nothing on the face of things
Facts dont stain the furniture
Facts go out and slam the door
Facts are written all over your face
Facts continue to change their shape
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...

Stop! Look, Listen

[marvin]
You're alone all the time
Does it ever puzzle you
Have you asked why
You seem to fall in love and out again
Do you really ever love
Or just pretend, oh, baby
Why fool yourself
Don't be afraid to help yourself
It's never too late, too late to
Stop, look, yes, listen to your heart
Hear what it's sayin'
Stop, look, listen to your heart
Hear what it's sayin'
Love, oh, love, love
[diana]
Though you try, you can't hide
All the things you really feel
This time decide
That you will open up, let it in
There's no shame in sharin' love you feel within
So jump right in
Head over heels and fall right in
It's never too late, too late to
Stop, look, listen to your heart
Hear what it's sayin'
Stop, look, oh, listen to your heart
Hear what it's sayin'
Love, love, love
[both]
Darlin', darlin', stop and look
[stop right now and listen to your heart]
Oh, listen to your heart hear what it's sayin'
[can't you see that it's not too late]
Stop and look
And listen to your heart hear what it's sayin'
Stop and listen to your heart right now
[stop, look]
[listen to your heart hear what's it's sayin']
Oh, can't you see that it's not too late
[stop, look]
[listen to your heart hear what it's sayin']
Darlin', stop and look
And listen to your heart hear what it's sayin'
Stop, baby
[stop right now and listen to your heart]

To My Sons, Eddie & Edwin

You're my cute little son,
But you're always stubborn,
Fast to get anger and upset
Very small hearted person.

Why you so like that
Give me the reasons
Why? , why? , why?
Why you so disobedient person?

You all are clever
But lazy and hard headed
Sometimes, you are good
But you're very naughty boy.

Always Be a good boy
My boy, my boy,
Listen to elderly always,
Respect your parents.

Please study hard
Study smarter
Future in your hands
No one can change you
Unless yourself.

Don't play only
Remember to study things
You love and likes
Learn as much as you can.

Time is short,
Time never return,
Study when you're young
Study when you're grow up too.

Stop playing games,
Start your lessons on time
Stop fooling around,
Stop arguing with parents.

My sons, Eddie and Edwin
Always I love you all
No matter Where,
No matter When,
No matter How.
You're always my sons.

Just Be You

When one looks at history
We can either
Learn from the past
To adapt to the present
So you can
Face tomorrow's mysteries

The age old question
We all ask
Can we better ourselves?

To better oneself
You must be brave

To better oneself
You must know love

To better oneself
You must be strong

To better oneself
You must believe

To better oneself
You must learn to share

To better oneself
Just be you

After learning all
Of life's mysteries
One must discover
To be true to
Thine own self
Just be you

Jet Boy Blue

Written by dan peek and catherine peek, 1976
Found on hideaway.
Jet boy blue
You steal and you think that its right
Like a thief in the night
Ah, oh yeah
Ill tell you its true
You come around with your stories to tell
I dont hold no intrest
But I let you go
I know youve fallen under his spell
Dont let him kill you
Hell only fill you with lies
Youre a fool and you know it
Done your best not to show it
But its all over
Youre through
Jet boy blue
Hell only take you for a ride
Only cost you your pride
Jet boy blue
Stop, stop while youre still ahead
Youve got a lot to learn
Youre still so young
Listen to what your mama said
Try to tell you go to hell
Youre just a kid
Dont take no advice, you never think twice
Close the door
Jump in, dont mention what you did
Stop, stop while youre still ahead
Youve got a lot to learn
Youre still so young
Listen to what your mama said
Youre a fool and you know it
Done your best not to show it
But its all over
Youre through
Jet boy blue
Hell only take you for a ride
Only cost you your pride
Jet boy blue
Stop, stop while youre still ahead
Youve got a lot to learn
Youre still so young
Listen to what your mama said
Jet boy blue
You steal and you think that its right
Like a thief in the night
Wo, jet, jet, jet, jet boy blue
Jet boy blue
Jet boy blue
Jet boy blue
Jet boy blue
Jet boy blue
Jet boy blue
Jet boy blue ...

Insignificantly Significant

Millions of particles,
Making up my body.
Millions of bodies,
Making up a world.
Millions of worlds,
Making up a universe.
Removed from this,
I feel alone.
Yet, I am a piece of the puzzle.
A part of a bigger picture.
Insignificantly significant.
One infected cell spreading.
Affecting the body,
Eventually, killing the host.
One infected host spreading.
Eventually killing the world.
One cell at a time,
One person at a time.
But in order to heal the world,
The host must heal first.
For if an infected host can destroy,
Then a well host can build.
A body will heal,
One cell at a time.
Until it is healthy.
A world will heal,
One person at a time.
Until it is done.

Dont You Ever Learn?

Dont you ever listen?
Dont you ever learn?
The hand may find you
Its time to take a turn
You think this life is something strange
Youre ready for another change
But dont you ever learn?
Dont you ever listen?
Dont you ever learn?
The world is on fire
Your body doesnt burn
Kill yourself before receiving
Something out of all this breathing
Dont you ever learn?

Be still, but be in vigour.

Listen.
The winds of change blow at your feet.
Listen.
They call your name and feed your heart.
Listen.
They tell you what you want and more,
listen.

Just stop, and listen.
They know you,
truly,
and they are simply here to show you the way.

They know the quivering child who fears the world who resides inside your soul.
Listen.
They bring you no harm, so
listen.

Listen and just be glad.
Your angels have come to take you home.

Learn

when broken
learn
when happy
learn
when bored
learn
when you float and does not know what to do
learn just the same
when filled with idealism
learn
when fed with what you cannot swallow
learn again
when the times get rough and you want to kill yourself
learn, learn, learn
you still have many things to learn
faces of life
bodies of life
learn, learn, learn everything
do not surrender

for in truth, you do not do what you only want
you will also do what you are told to do
no questions asked
or you will be left out
or you will be not a part of the picture
this life
learn, learn, learn, always learn
do not surrender
live, learn, live, learn
you will soon do all that others will tell you
learn, learn and learn again

and sooner you will have learned everything
and then do what you want to do
with firm conviction
you know now what is right
and that is what you will do,

now without even being told
you have become yourself

but still learn, learn, and learn again
because

you might be wrong,
try thinking some more, learn
relearn, learn, learn, learn, forevermore....
