This Mix Of Blended Nausea
Is everything done they do prefabricated?
Or is it just those things hidden,
Under secretive cover...
That are eventually discovered by others,
To then become exposed and revealed...
For the purpose to over-hype and frighten.
Especially those locked up in their 'boxes',
With teachings to rate their favorite escapades...
By physical appearances, hair texture and skin color.
'What do you refer to?
Extraterrestials?
Religious beliefs?
The price of gas and oil?
Economics?
Utlilities?
Jobs outsourced?
Exports and/or imports?
The cost of education...
Or employment creation?
Blonds, brunettes, dreads or bald heads?
Blue, brown, hazel, green or grey eyes? '
Which ones are relative to you?
'All of them.'
Oh...
I see.
So you buy into...
Variety is the spice of life nonsense?
'I wouldn't call it nonsense.'
Really?
What would you call this mix of blended nausea?
'That's close enough.'

My Favorite Colors
Blue is my favorite color drawn from the seas and skies.
It beautifies my mother’s and two of my daughter’s eyes.
It also imbues the flag of my country where freedom is dear.
That’s why when I feel blue, I know happiness must be near.
Red is a close second and I’ll always remember why.
As a child I loved fire engines and the Monarch butterfly.
For me the lovely, regal rose created this exquisite color.
Many shades exist, but it’s hard to focus on any other.
Yellow is another color that has always caught my eye.
It explodes from the morning sun; then paints the sunset sky.
I wonder if, in fact, my favorite color might be yellow.
It reminds me of all that is good, positive and mellow.
Green, the color of life, emboldens the countryside.
Eyes of another daughter sparkle this color far and wide.
Though the color of money, it’s more important for me
That it signifies “proceed” toward opportunity.
Brown graces the eyes of my son and wonderful wife.
Before I met my partner, brown didn’t mean much in my life.
Because of her, this color is the most radiant of all.
Her big brown eyes and gentle sighs are why love came to call.

Ten Grey hairs and a silver one
I discovered my first grey hair
when I was Seventeen years old
It had to do with broken up my first relationship
I discovered my second grey hair
when I was Twenty years old
It had to do with the quarrels at home
I discovered my third grey hair
when I was Twenty-one years old
It had to do with searching for work
I discovered my fourth grey hair
when I was Twenty-three years old
It had to do with loosing my job
I discovered my fifth grey hair
when I was Twenty-five years old
It had to do with giving up my unborn child
I discovered my sixth grey hair
When I was Twenty-eight years old
It had to do with opening my pub
I discovered my seventh grey hair
When I was thirty years old
It had to do with giving birth to my daughter
I discovered my eight grey hair
When I was thirty –two years old
It had to do with the first day at the kinder garden school
I discovered my ninth grey hair
When I was thirty-four years old
It had to do with to find out that some thing was missing
I discovered my tenth grey hair
When I was thirty-five years old
It had to do with the fights between my sisters and mum
My one Silver hair I discovered lately
Has to do with you
Because I miss you so hard …

Blue
I didn't want to know
I just didn't want to know
Best to keep things in the shallow end
Cause I never quite learned how to swim
I just didn't want to know
Didn't want, didn't want,
Didn't want, didn't want
Close my eyes just to look at you
Taken by the seamless vision
I close my eyes,
Ignore the smoke,
Ignore the smoke
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a lovely color for you
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Why don't I just sit and stare at you
Because I don't want to know
I didn't want to know
I just didn't want to know
I just didn't want
Mistook the "nods" for an approval
Just ignore the smoke and smile
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a lovely color for you
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a perfect color for your eyes
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a lovely color for you,
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Why don't I just sit and stare at you
I don't want to know

Inside you see something green
My outside is unassuming and blank
It is pretty when Im secure,
but when my shelter is broken, and
I see too much light
My ugliness shows
But I know when to hide,
b/c like the hulk
I turn green when something's not the same
and I have to walk a dark hall of shame
I see her there, my art, my talent, and my life
her pretty eyes, and pale white skin
that tortures me inside
then I become a color wheel.....
and eventually you see green
then I know my insides have escaped me
but I soon have to turn into the proud brown that I am
b/c someone told me about loving myself
& strong-and-fighting brown words seek
to fight the green away
& my heart begs to be rescued from the pain
the brown words win, but green lurks to escape
when I forget about the brown, and something's not the same

Blondes Have More Fun
(rod stewart / jim cregan)
Is it a matter of opinion
Or just a contradiction
But from where I come from
All the blondes have more fun
Well just awatch them sisters on a saturday night
Peroxide causin all the fights
I took a rose in texas
She gimme plenty of practice
But I couldnt touch the surface
cos of recent facelift
She had no idea what loves about
cept the one oclock call on the casting couch
Sissy from new york
Was on the cover of new vogue
I aint supposed to be available
So completely untouchable
I got a limousine n bodyguard and chaperone
But God knows rodder just needs to ball
You can keep your black and your red heads
You can keep your brunettes too
I wanna girl thats semi intelligent
Gimme a blonde thats six feet two boy
And that aint all
I had a crush on bardot
Fell in love with monroe
Read about em in the nationals
All the juicy little scandals
But I never saw em dancin at the county hall
With the short fat guys prematurely bald
Dig this
You can keep your black and your red heads
You can keep your brunettes too
Dont wanna subservient woman
Gimme a blonde thats six feet two boy
And that aint all

Habitually Fixed
People addicted to nonsense,
Are no different than those addicted to crack.
Or any other sedation that medicates.
Dumbed down and seeking entertaining escapades.
And afraid of any thought process,
That causes comprehension.
Or communicating some of that might exist.
People addicted to nonsense,
Prefer to see a disagreement with their ideologies...
As confrontations..
With a nothingness with someone in this mindset,
That ever gets done.
Dumbed down and seeking entertaining escapades.
And afraid of any thought process,
That causes comprehension.
Or communicating some of that might exist.
This activity is representative of those who create conflicts,
To protect interests.
And those interests have been habitually fixed to delusions.
And people like this,
Stubborn and fixed...
Live assuming any progress that moves forward,
Is a conspiracy that threatens their beliefs!
And as long as they keep passing the 'pipe' around...
They will interpret the crumbling of foundations,
As a work of art!

Find It. Your Purpose
Find it.
Your purpose.
Once it has been discovered,
Do not let it be undermined.
Your purpose.
It is difficult to be oneself,
And declare oneself to 'be'.
It is much easier to locate acceptance,
When approval from others...
Does not threaten,
A routine enjoyed with unchanged beliefs.
Find it.
Your purpose.
Once it has been discovered,
Do not let it be undermined.
Your purpose.
And once it is recognized...
Be prepared to be criticized.
Be prepared to be humble too...
When a strength felt opens your eyes.
But never be apologetic,
For those steps you make.
Moving forward has been known,
To cause many heartache.
But find it,
You must...
Your purpose.
And trust that it is...
Your purpose!
And...
Once it has been discovered,
Do not let it be undermined.
Once it has been discovered,
Your purpose...
Will open and broaden your mind.
Finding one's purpose,
Does this every time!

Four Woman
My skin is black
My arms are long
My hair is woolly
My back is strong
Strong enough to take the pain
inflicted again and again
What do they call me
My name is AUNT SARAH
My name is Aunt Sarah
My skin is yellow
My hair is long
Between two worlds
I do belong
My father was rich and white
He forced my mother late one night
What do they call me
My name is SAFFRONIA
My name is Saffronia
My skin is tan
My hair is fine
My hips invite you
my mouth like wine
Whose little girl am I?
Anyone who has money to buy
What do they call me
My name is SWEET THING
My name is Sweet Thing
My skin is brown
my manner is tough
I'll kill the first mother I see
my life has been too rough
I'm awfully bitter these days
because my parents were slaves
What do they call me
My name is PEACHES

Two For The Price Of One
He had what you might call a trivial occupation
He cleaned the platforms of the local railway station
With no romance in his life
Sometimes he wished he had a wife
He read the matrimonial advertising pages
The cries for help from different people, different ages
But they had nothing to say
At least not until the day
When something special he read
This is what it said:
If you dream of the girl for you
Then call us and get two for the price of one
Were the answer if you feel blue
So call us and get two for the price of one
If you dream of the girl for you
(if you are dreaming of someone who might be right for you)
Then call us and get two for the price of one
(why dont you call us and youll get two for the price of one)
Were the answer if you feel blue
(we may be the answers to your problem, a chance with we two)
So call us and get two for the price of one
(why dont you call us and youll get two for the price of one)
He called the number and a voice said, alice whiting
The voice was husky and it sounded quite exciting
He was amazed at his luck
The purest streak of gold hed struck
He said, i read your ad, it sounded rather thrilling
I think a meeting could be mutually fulfilling
Why dont we meet for a chat
The three of us in my flat
I cant forget what I read
This is what it said:
If you dream of the girl for you
Then call us and get two for the price of one
Were the answer if you feel blue
So call us and get two for the price of one
If you dream of the girl for you
(if you are dreaming of someone who might be right for you)
Then call us and get two for the price of one
(why dont you call us and youll get two for the price of one)
Were the answer if you feel blue
(we may be the answers to your problem, a chance with we two)
So call us and get two
(why dont you call us and youll get two)
For the price of one...
She said, Im sure we must be perfect for each other
And if you doubt it youll be certain when you meet my mother

Call This Whatever You Wish
Call this anti-social.
Call it whatever you believe it is!
But I had awakened one day,
Knowing I was through with nonsense.
And those who participated...
In the distribution of foolishness.
While the quality of life...
And the standards of it diminished.
As those immature around me age,
Condoning it as if it should exist!
Call it whatever you will.
Call this whatever you wish.
Call me anti-social, please!
If a clue I leave...
Says anything about my involvement.
And my need to protect my peace and happiness!

Meaning Of The Rainbow
The rainbow
Red because the blood I see because of you.
Purple from my heart
Orange your favorite color
Green the color of your eyes
Yellow the color of your hair
Blue the color I feel every night
This is the color of my rainbow
The meaning of the rainbow
You use to point at them
And this is what it reminds me of now
when I see the rainbow
I cut when I see red
I let you bruised my heart so my heart is purple
When I see orange I feel hatred
I think green and I want to puke on you
I see blue and start to cry
I see yellow and think about you
So I restart with red over and over again

Zones Of Physicality
Some stay stuck,
To evaluate the color of things.
Whether it is skin.
Hair and texture...
Or eyes restricted,
To perceive color in limits.
With an etching to be framed.
Most minds accepting these pre-conditions...
Never step out of that box,
That locks them into zones of physicality.
Keeping with them a dysfunction of insecurities,
Hopefully to be prayed away.
Whenever 'that' insight should come,
To undo perceptions to them that have been done.

Bible Burning II
'I'm sick and tired of this nonsense'.
'What do you mean 'nonsense. Those are perfectly good bibles. They cost alot'.
(I must admit this last point was speculation on my part)
'That's what I mean'.
'Wait. Have you no faith. Have you no respect for the price of things'? Do you think those are Qu'rans?
'Ha! What is faith'?
'Ah', I said, scratching my head, 'faith is the belief in things unseen. Hey, watch that match'!
'Pernicious, pernicious influence', he insisted, in a way that convinced me I was not going to change his mind.
'Pernicious influence, my......foot. Every word of that book is inspired. Especially Deuteronomy. So put that in your pipe and....
Only too late I realized this was the wrong expression-
'....smoke it'.
'Ah'g'wan', he exclaimed. 'F-ing Republican'.
This was too much.

Not how you would be thought of, your color
Being grey, silky, like a second skin, your hair
Flecked with it. Now, hearing your way of saying
Iridescent while I read your poem, three years
After your death, I am compelled to check
You out in Ovid, Lamprière, Bulfin, then
A book of flowers, where I discover you
On marshy ground, not grey exactly—in fact
A pretty blue-grey, a quiet type, with a green cowl
To shelter the thoughtful inclined head.
Not at all the bright-winged messenger
Who’d drown the world if Juno put you up to it,
But a quiet sylph, who could color her message
With a sly tilt of the head, those grey eyes steady,
Lips pursed, making a pretence of kissing.
You could supply so many ambiguities—
Gradations and streaks and tones of grey and blue—
That for twenty years I saw your story told
Where the sky lay on the wintry hills, weighed down
With tears Mnemosyne allows for you:
Flower, messenger, poet.

I Think Im Going Bald
Words and music by geddy lee, alex lifeson, and neil peart
I looked in the mirror today
My eyes just didnt seem so bright
Ive lost a few more hairs
I think Im going bald
I think Im going bald!
Seems like only yesterday
We would sit and talk of dreams all night
Dreams of youth
And simple truths
Now were so involved
So involved with life
Walk down vanity fair
Memory lane everywhere
Wall street shuffles there
Dressed in flowing hair
The wire!
Once we loved the flowers
Now we ask the price of the land
Once we would take water
But now it must be wine
Now weve been
And now weve seen what price, peace of mind
Take a piece of my mind
My life is slipping away
Im aging every day
But even when Im grey
Ill still be grey my way

Whose design is this?
How, if food is without spice?
How, if life goes without spice?
Spice is variety.
Variety is option for change.
The left out one is cursed
And the one acquired is blessed.
The user is ever jubilant.

Rainbow
I live at one of those Grey Clouds
Not really know that I am lifeless
I heard people talking about rainbow,
They’d met each other, always in a happy occasion
I wish I met the rainbow myself
Then perhaps I would know,
What the people say is not true
That there is no thing such rainbow,
That could make people’s eyes glittering
In Blue color of the sky
In Green color of the valley
In Red color of the blood
In Yellow color of the sun
I am belongs to the Grey Clouds
I Love Grey, as it is all the color I have in life
Then one day, at the ticking time of my ordinary Grey-day
I see something really bright,
With the scent of a precious flower I’d lost in the mist
For a moment I’m overwhelmed
Then I took a step further…
Away from something so beautiful, that wasn’t Grey
But the figure reveal and I stranded there
I Never learn that there are many color one’s could posses
Day goes by,
The Grey Cloud is the latest place I’d like to be
It was the rainbow…
Holding me and warm me
With a lot of bunch of dream in my empty mind
Dream I never knew
Dream I never dare to explore
The forbidden dream for my Grey outfit
I’m content with joys,
The first time I ever feel grand to face my life
My heart reflecting the color of rainbow
Blue for the peace soul
Green for the new beginning
Red for the faith
Yellow for a bright hope
Not very long
The thunder strikes,
The lightning burned my rainbow
All was Grey again
The rainbow gone away
Prefer to have a quite-smooth journey with all its color
While the thunder sent me here
Back to the Grey Clouds
