This Loneliness That Visits
Sometimes loneliness is a gift.
It allows our minds to reflect and drift.
To evaluate who it is we are.
What our wishes mean to us...
And the depth of our dreams,
When loneliness descends.
Our desire to be free of this 'entrapment'
Is encouraging!
Once it is realize 'why' we feel this way.
And 'what' the efforts are to deliver us,
From only seeing ourselves mirroring a sadness.
Knowing that a trust hidden,
Awaits to deliver gladness that arrives...
Eventually!
To inspire our hearts to thrive on new adventures!
This can not be who it is that we are.
A frowning face that takes a place,
Becoming too comfortable with a loneliness sitting.
It is unfamiliar,
When first viewed.
And expressed upon our faces.
Clearly not subdued.
That is why it draws all of our attention to it!
And others too.
This loneliness that visits.
Because it is allowed.
Until we walk away from it.
Freeing it from its welcome.
Leaving it as something seen...
Like a foe that pops up on the scene.
But not to be accepted with a warm embrace.
We can move away from it IF we so desire!
If we inspired a happiness within us to surface!
It can and should be replaced.
Erasing...
This loneliness,
We can dismiss.
To acquire a more sweetened taste...
From a life of bitterness,
An aloneness made can trace!

A frosty morning; daylight repeals it, and I feel loneliness
on the eve of the day.

I am not that far away from moonbeams,

Lost in a strange city, no where to turn
Far cry from the streets that I came from
It can get lonely when you're trav'ling hard
But you can even be lonely

Are You Ever Lonely?
Are you ever lonesome and don't know why?
Are you ever lonesome just like I?
A room full of people all at my side
and still the loneliness is unidentified.
Where does it come from?
Why is it here?
I thought we were only lonely
when no one is near.
I think the loneliness comes from before,
from a time in our past when we were sure
that what it is we do would never be through.
It would always be alive and part of you.
Why couldn't it stay?
Why isn't it here?
'Cause times are a changing.

Loneliness
We all feel loneliness in different ways
we could be in a crowded room
with a lot of people chatting there.
On a crowded bus journey
with voices speaking all around,
loneliness can strike anywhere. T
he feeling of being isolated
in whatever that you do.
Your hearts feels so empty,
the world is full of rain
and you wonder if you will ever be happy again.
You feel trapped in a little world of your own.
Isolation gnaws at you for all around
there is no one to talk to
and loneliness creeps into every fibre of your soul.
You want to break free of the chains,
stand up and set yourself free,
but your self-esteem stands in the way.
So you shrink down in your incarceration
and in there you stay
when loneliness takes a grip of you.

He has no woman of his own
So every night he walks alone
Although he has no place to go

Sadness To Loneliness
This is not the life I wanted for us,
Nor the pain that settles in.
Am over welled by sadness,
Cursed by loneliness.
We were the perfect peas to each others port.
The sunrise to our sunset.
You the rose of my garden, I was the root to your happiness, but
It all came stomping down like thunder rolls.
A shock wave of bitterness slap me,
With a tone I couldn't respond to.
Jealous and envy came to play but am not a player to this type of game.
Gossip in the air increase my sadness and loneliness.
We had a tree growing together now the branches is falling apart.
My days are empty
My nights are colds,
Still wondering where I went wrong with my rose.
My endevers was only tears of joy for you

Fingers Of Loneliness
The fingers of loneliness
can sometimes touch the warmest heart
making it feel isolated
when no one is around.
We stand on pinnacles of our own desire
that are often consumed by fire
leaving us scorched and lonely,
too heated to be touched.
We feel engulfed in sadness,
our shouts cannot be heard
and we wonder what we have said
when we have no angry words.
