Thigh Ignition
Ms Grimslee?
Have you had too much to drink?
When I said I enjoy the fresh approach,
You use to deliver realism to your artwork.
I meant that.
Did you misunderstand me?
I said, 'I enjoy sniffing your paintings! '
Not your 'panties'.
Is this the private viewing you wanted to show me?
Would you put them back on.
Let's join the others where your paintings are on exhibit!
~Forgive me!
Will you please keep this between us!
This is most embarrassing.~
I am still interested in purchasing, 'Thigh Ignition'
What scent is that did you use?
It reminds me of tuna!

This' Is 'Their' Relationship
Tormented!
And they sit with the scent of it.
Hoping what has been done and meant...
Will not segment their love.
Yet exposed in episodes.
Although unhinged and emotionally glued.
They have a togetherness,
Outsiders viewing it...
Believe their 'tightness'
Is becoming unscrewed.
Is it?
These two know what they enjoy and do!
Yet 'this' is 'their' relationship.
And dysfunctional lovers though they be...
They are the two involved in it.
Busted and bruised...
In a viciousness for them is bliss!
Is it pathetic?
Is it?
These two know what they enjoy and do!
And better qualified,
To know whether or not...
If their feelings are true.

Something Wonderful And Beautiful
:
:
A poem about the wildlife artist, Stephen Gayford
The artist stood with brush in hand
And prayed God would be kind
Enough to help him understand
The secrets he could find...
Then he began to paint away,
Each layer gently laid,
All expertise, all skills in play,
So he could pass the grade...
To pass the grade and then excel,
Until no more to do
And only then, bid it farewell,
When it was sold to you...
You thought it something wonderful
And beautiful to buy,
Majestic and adorable
And pleasing to the eye...
The artist smiled with heartfelt joy
While holding back his tears,
His expertise you could employ,
Financing all his years...
Success began with you, my friend,
We each owe you a debt,
Because you helped to start a trend
That no-one could forget...
From that day on, the artist stood
With paintings left and right,
To be the best, not just the good,
To reach the highest height...
Perfecting here, perfecting there,
Enhancing light and shade,
So paintings looked beyond compare
Thanks to the prayers he prayed...

I don't very much enjoy looking at paintings in general. I know too much about them. I take them apart.

You were told how much space so it was a matter of whether you could send in two paintings or three paintings, you know, pending where the show was being held. You did submit work to be accepted. Once you were accepted that was it. You did your own selection of what went in.

I also paint and enjoy acrylic medium; some of my close friends have paintings I did for them.
Gayford Gallery
A poem about the wildlife artist, Stephen Gayford
Imagine God gave you a gift with which to bless us all
And simply let your life to drift so that you might stand tall...
And in the years that followed on, your blessings blossomed well,
Such that your doubts were truly gone, what stories you could tell...
Just think of those who stand and paint, made famous over time,
Such that their art is not just quaint, but thought of as sublime...
With auctions here and auctions there and exhibitions, too...
And compliments beyond compare because of what they do...
Each dedicated artist knows the sacrifices made
And though each legend grows and grows, it's just that each obeyed...
Their destiny is in their hands, their paintings on our walls,
Their galleries across the lands wherever greatness calls...
Perhaps a hundred hours done for each and every week,
Preserving still a sense of fun in artwork that's unique...
With family values well expressed in lions, tigers, bears,
Our Stephen Gayford does his best, remembered in our prayers...

I will always find even the worst paintings that attempt some kind of representation better than the best invented paintings.
Up until 35 I had a slightly skewed world view. I honestly believed everybody in the world wanted to make abstract paintings, and people only became lawyers and doctors and brokers and things because they couldn't make abstract paintings.

I have no ideas about what the paintings imply about the world. I don't think that's a painter's business. He just paints paintings without a conscious reason.

I'm not a lyric writer to make statements. What I enjoy doing is making paintings with lyrics, creating colorful images. I think that's more what entertainment and music should be.

Picasso's Last Words (Drink To Me)
The Grand Old Painter Died Last Night
His Paintings On The Wall
Before He Went He Bade Us Well
And Said Goodnight To Us All.
Drink To Me, Drink To My Health
You Know I Can't Drink Any More
Drink To Me, Drink To My Health
You Know I Can't Drink Any More
3 O'clock In The Morning
I'm Getting Ready For Bed
It Came Without A Warning
But I'll Be Waiting For You Baby
I'll Be Waiting For You There
So Drink To Me Drink To My Health
You Know I Can't Drink Any More
Drink To Me Drink To My Health
You Know I Can't Drink Any More
Jet... Drink To Me
Drink To Me... Ho Hey Ho

Unconditional and Uninhibited Love
What are you doing?
When I invited you out for dinner...
I did not expect this at all.
'You were the one to ask if I was uninhibited! '
I meant in private.
When we are alone!
Hurry up!
Get dressed.
This is embarrassing.
You are an exhibitionist.
'What difference does that make?
I told you I enjoy eating in the nude!
So you want me to take the tassels off my breasts too?
I thought you said you wanted to see me dance? '
Hurry up and get dressed.
This whole thing has been a misunderstanding.
Your ad said 'Unconditional and Uninhibited Love'.
'And...
What is your point?
I'm the one embarrassed.
I should have questioned you 'before' accepting your invitation.
You're the one who lied when you said I should be myself!
Didn't I tell you,
My honesty was rare?
That I kept nothing covered?
I was as naked to the truth as I can be? '
Yeah...
But,
People lie!
And this is 'too' much honesty.
I'm not ready for it.
Hurry...
Get dressed.

My Life as Simulacra
Xerox your paintings,
Deposit them in a screen.
Avoid the decay
Of natural processes—
Disintegration.
Preserve your thoughts in this way:
As a copy of
Expression. If that seems cold,
Burn the real paintings for warmth.

Maybe I am looking at Eve
Two paintings
look back at me:
The one girl is shy
and stripped to her middle
with auburn hair
covering a breast
and the other
hanging round and firm
tipped by
a pink brown nipple.
The big eyes of the other
are greener than grass
and laurel is wreathed
through her auburn hair
hanging in strings
of a fairy like girl
whose complexion
glows pink and alive
and she’s dressed
in big green leaves
holding some purple lavender
in a unseen hand
and I like to think
that both paintings
shows the same girl
and maybe
I am looking at Eve.

Rules
Follow
The rules that were meant to be followed
Don't pick up a pencil and put it back down
Don't leave a piece of paper blank for long
Don't look out the window and just wish
Do whatever you're wishing
Follow
The rules that were meant to be followed
Don't use your friends for anything but friendship
Don't turn your back and just let the boat tip
Don't imitate what others are doing
Do whatever you would do
Follow
The rules that were meant to be followed
Shape your life in your own kind of art
Whether it be paintings, sculptures, or music
You are yourself, not someone else
Be yourself
To Enjoy Life
Our life has many windows of joy,
The joke is serious and to enjoy.
Our existence is special and fully exposed
To other elements, so as to enjoy.
The living individual that aspires to Job,
Is the very sentence of our writing to enjoy.
How does the sprightliness of a lifestyle
Turn into something not to enjoy.
Really merry people are mostly proof of laughter
Being the source of help always to enjoy.
There is a safe place for all,
Everywhere you must even think to enjoy.

Expression hidden Lady
On my walk, down the way, one day,
By chance I met you in the way,
The one, to hold me in your sway,
Who by I was blinded to stay.
I wanted to convey my thought.
I dared not, as I intended.
What I said is not what I’d meant.
What I meant wasn’t understood.
In the course, you somehow understood
Why I was behind you all the way.
My moves you virtually elbowed
But granted audience at ease.
Sculptures and portraits I enjoy.
Likewise your visions I enjoy.
You are like statues, mute and silent.
Unlike them, you have a soul. Enough.
