Remember those days, months and years...
When I looked as if I could break down any moment,
In a pool of tears?
I could not sleep or eat?
Or release those emotions inside of me.
Nor any tears on my sleeves appeared.
A weeping was done.
Lots of it.
Although well hidden.
Struggling in darkness left me bruised.
To heal.
As I awaited alone for light.

Even my steps taken then...
Were prejudged, rejudged, misunderstood and misjudged.
Yes...
I was a mess.
A total wreck.
No one suspected what I kept protected.
I'm only now...
Able to confess it!
Address it and keep stepping...
Forward towards a brighter life.

And today?
Oh,
I know blessings have come my way.
Theres' not a church or scripture,
I have to obey!
Not to feebly portray...
Lessons learned have been lived.
I wallowed away in pigsties...
As if I was a natural pig.
With awareness...
I didn't care who though what,
About 'where' I was.

Sometimes agonies are not self inflicted.
Sometimes the giving of love allows this to happen.

Peace of mind has come.
And hear me when I say...
It aint gon' be given up anytime soon.
I've earned it.
God knows this.
From every 'pore' I've got!
God knows this!

I can understand what you are going through!
I do.
And that's all I am going to give it!
An understanding.
Mine.

However,
Sharing my past griefs and dilemmas...
With an emphasis on issues,
Will not do a thing for you.
Borrowed teardrops are not appreciated.

Pick up that up that cross.
And bear it.
Feel every despair for what it is.
Pretending makes for a bad masquerade party.
You will always be identified.
No matter how many countless masks you wear.

Can this world be a masquerade
Are you really what we see on the outside
And hidin what what you really are on the inside
Pretending that youre something youre really not
Whole world is a masquerade

Thank You God

Thank you God
For everything you do
You give me hope, faith and strength
When I read the Bible, it helps me learn about God more
I got so many opportunities and surprising moment that makes me happy
I am hard worker and something good happen at end
I know that I believe in God, even if I'm not Christian
I know I can count on Him to be there
I'm never alone
When I pray or tell God what is on my mind,
I know God will help me when God hear me
I'm so bless for people I met, family, and everything in my life
Thank you God
I'm giving Him my problems to take care of it
He is going keep it and I won't take it back
I'm not worry because He is handling it
I had first heard God from a friend
I'm happy to hear about Him and what He does
So don't break down, feel stress, and give up so soon
God is here for us and pray
He is father and we are his children
I go to church and it helps me a lot
Every day I'm bless that I'm still here today

Slightly educated

So, the World, you’ve made it,
arrived, you’re there at last;
well removed from all before,
oblivious to the past.
You’re smart, you’re cool, you’re learned;
perspectives overflow,
there’s little you can face right now
you feel that you don’t know.
Opinions on the issues,
the answers water-tight,
politics all sound and clear,
unequalled fresh insight.
Yes, you’re now a student, yes…
to ‘Unee’ you now pray,
pay homage to the lifestyle and
the rules you now obey.
Oh sure they’re rules, most definitely,
though you won’t see them so,
as you’ve become enveloped in
a long, familiar, show.
Where you just play a bit-part act,
a role played down the years,
involving such a simple script,
accompanied by the beers.
So stand a moment, stepping back,
I know it’s new to you,
recall you’re there for knowledge, sure..
there’s lots you could accrue.
And even when you graduate,
a diploma to decree,
remember that your knowledge is
but to a small degree.

I Choose To Heal

I've decided not to be reminded of my griefs.
I've learned that carrying a baggage of sorrows,
Only weighs on my back...
Unhappiness to be left to be repeatedly monitored.

Tears cried as others measured my pain,
On a scale from one to ten...
Are days I've chosen not to live.
Again!
And again.
AND...again without end.

Why should I celebrate my agony,
On a regular basis?
What does doing this for me achieve?
A hatred and bitterness I pray from me will leave?
Or a constant search to seek validation,
How miserable my life lived can be?

NO!
For others that may be so,
To acknowledge without a letting go.
But for me...
My happiness comes with the knowing,
I can forgive.
Not forgot!
My mind wont let me do it.
But make attempts to forgive I can do.

The Priceless Gift Of Motherhood

You have always been the best friend to me,
teaching and showing me what others could not see.
Blessing me with everything you do,
even when other showed me hatred with their boo.
You are the greatest gift to humanity,
and without you there will be no human community.
Your love can never be compared to none,
even in times of sadness you always bring fun.
Eachtime i think of the pains you went through for my sake,
helps to bring me bad memories that i can't take.
Especially the tears you sheard at the time of my birth,
makes me wish that you alone should be free from death.
I can't imagine the pain of carrying me for 270 days,
that is why i feel like thanking you in a million ways.

Pilgrim's Perseverance

I blamed my God, my folks, myself,
For life felt at its worst,
Such that I seemed left on the shelf,
As if my soul were cursed...
You cannot know the depths I've trawled,
The pits of deep despair,
Until the Saviour's Name I called,
As I knelt there in prayer...

There were no shining lights on high,
No angels singing near,
But then again, no need to cry,
As my soul drained of fear...
I simply stood with newborn faith,
As if a child again,
The slate wiped clean, as if to bathe
All my sins there and then...

The miracle renewed my mind,
The darkness fled away,
A destiny was there to find
Beginning now, today...
My tragedies were thus dismissed,
God's wisdom took my hand,
As if my very heart were kissed
To help me understand.

I stood up straight, made my way out,
Past demons left and right,
Past accusations, fear and doubt,
To step into the light...
Of course, my eyes could hardly see,
The contrast made me wince,
Yet thoughts of Christ and Calvary
Had freed me from my sins...

I bought a Bible, learned of Paul,
Then read the words he wrote,
I couldn't comprehend it all,
But saw he didn't gloat...
Though Holy Spirit led and blessed
With miracles galore,
He persevered to help the rest
And longed to love Christ more...

I'd wasted years, so many years,
God gave a second chance,
To let me shed some honest tears,
Before He could enhance...
The Lord rebuilt this rebel heart,
No more as cold as stone,
No more ashamed, no more apart,
No more to feel alone...

That's why I fight, armed to the teeth,
By faith in Christ, God's Son,
To end this mad world's disbelief
In all that God has done...
God's grace suffices, this I've learned,
With Churches everywhere,
I simply take from what I've earned
To give my Lord a share...

That way, His Kingdom will expand
With every passing hour
As if the fiery flames were fanned
That demonstrate His power...
God grant me strength to persevere,
To bravely battle on,
Till Christ makes all things crystal clear
When this saint's soul has gone...

Why should it matter how I feel
