These Days're Fast in Their Passing
These days are fast in their passing!
And unforgiving.
Time spent in scheduling events,
To decide which ones...
Should be given more attention,
Is something done that has had its welcome.
But today,
Winds come to blow...
Do not slow to bestow,
Consideration given.
These days are fast in their passing!
And unforgiving.
Finding time to procrastinate,
Is like hoping what is felt...
Is not an Earthquake that shakes.
Or a tornado that doesn't sweep,
Everything away...
With a flash before surprised eyes.
These days are fast in their passing!
And unforgiving.
And if one is not proactive...
Any delayed action at all,
May be cause for one's quick demise.
These days are fast in their passing!
And unforgiving.
Satisfying those with their eyes open.
And not those with their eyes half closed.
If one needs to ask just how fast...
These days already here to experience and live,
Have begun to slip from their grasp!
With a speed that has blurred their vision.

The Passing Time
Ah, passing time you don't need any reason to change the black to white
You always run so fast during our happy days like a while
And When we are sad and alone you humble there years
Every minute passes by longer than years
The people those we love soon they disappear
Those who were lovers yesterday today become strangers
Ah, passing time how brutal you are to swift away our delightful years

Rock n Roll Star
Live my life in the city
Theres no easy way out
The days moving just too fast for me
Need some time in the sunshine
Gotta slow it right down
The days moving just too fast for me
I live my life for the stars that shine
People say its just a waste of time
When they said I should feed my head
That to me was just a day in bed
Ill take my car and drive real far
To where theyre not concerned about the way we are
Cos in my mind my dreams are real
Are you concerned about the way I feel
Tonight Im a rock n roll star
Live my life in the city
Theres no easy way out
The days moving just too fast for me
Need some time in the sunshine
Gotta slow it right down
The days moving just too fast for me
Tonight Im a rock n roll star

Because Of You
As I gaze adoringly into your eyes, my heart, melodious with jubilation:
I hold your hand, witness your grace-and it leaps with exaltation!
Forever in your debt for the gift you did bequeath,
Ne'er wane in your belief of such, I do beseech!
Your emenence ever growing, with the passing of days,
Though your beauty and charm, all the while-ever stays!
Each day spent, more alluring than was the last-
Until next I behold your visage, I keep memories fast!
Separated are we now by many miles-
Though responsible are you for each of my smiles!
Look forward do I, to days spent together:
When there begins our forever!
Days ever more replete with love so true-
My heart doth swell...because of you!

Crime of Life
Life seems but a memory of years
Gone by too fast.
Before we can live the present,
The future is the past.
Tomorrow is yesterday;
An instant is today.
The present is just a pause
Along past's fleeting way.
Seconds tick, days go by
And years bow out of sight.
Time speeds on as days are born;
Then devoured by each night.
Mankind's curse is overlooked
By Old Father Time, who steals
Our precious gift
With life's most hideous crime.
This crime of life is in its passing;
The days, the years that fleet by.
Almost before a chance to live,
It seems we're given a chance to die.

Time Of My Life
Sometimes I'm just thinking,
that I got the best time of my life
I've been with my girl for seven years now
and I got the sweetest dog that,
trust me forever
After school I took my chances,
continued to do the things I love
And now I find that I was right,
I'm 26 now still I
do what I want to,
And the days are passing by,
and now I realize that I've got the time of my life
Time of my life
and the days are passing by...
Now I sit here thinking,
about the best time of my life.
so many years I've been with my band now
and four of my best friends they still
trust me forever
And still the days are passing by
now I realize, still I've got the time of my life
Time of my life
and the days are passing by... etc.

As I grow
I am really optimistic and very bold
It doesn’t upset me even if I grow old
I knew it well the utility of gold
What price it will fetch when sold?
I preserved the youth for coming days
It was only possible for future days
The days were passing off like river flow
It couldn’t be stopped even if I wanted not to grow
It is natural process and may take its own course
I need not worry about it of course
It may have its ups and down
I shall not dream of wearing the crown
I may venture into open sky
There is no question of asking why
It may not be good attempt or worth try
You should go for it and not feel shy
There may be some unreasonable way out
Short cuts in life and running about
Never feel sorry for what you are so sure
Keep well informed within and assure
All days are golden and very bright
There has to be no suspicion to fight
They must be corrected for its righteous direction
You have then no remorse for any action
When you sit back and think of the past
The memorable moments must emerge and last
You should have least worry for doubts to cast
As the days have moved like light and very fast
It may still be like fraction of seconds
The list of foes may be more than friends
You still survived the onslaught of time
You did excellent job without committing any crime

Sonnet: The Early Summer
The Summer has begun earlier, this year,
The Sun is scorching already in March;
A few who lived in plenty, live in fear,
Their clothes are stiffer with excess of starch.
Few trees who seemed as Evergreen, are dry,
God makes some stubbled plants to reappear;
A few who enjoyed life, now seem to cry;
Their end is imminent and surely near.
Few trunks that people cut so oft are green,
And growing fast, so luxuriant in ways;
And things are changing fast, so too the Dean,
More truths are coming out with passing days.
The righteous few will rule the place again;
Despite the heat, God gives showers of Rain.

Oh, Life! ! !
Oh life how wild you are and unfair
The days are chasing days
Like the drops of rain are my pain
They slip so fast to chase another pain
And days become year to chase another year
They soon will become long painful years
Where the time will fade so fast
The life cant wait for the pain to end
And there all my pain will find an end

We Live So Fast
Please dont ask me to stay
Im leaving this town
Dont worry now
Believe me as I believe that
Luck is on my side
The future is mine
If I can find
A way through these strange days of my life
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen
The streets deserted and cold
Theyre not paved with gold
But I dont care
For those who think young will still survive
Making their move
Hoping to prove
That they can face
This big city, small world, big time
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen
But now I know their ways
I found my place
Saw their true face
Theres nothing to stay for so Ill go
Ill pick up the phone
Still searching for home
We life so fast
Alone but not lonely I move on
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen

Time Of Our Lives
At our lives, we are only given one small crack;
Sometimes, we all wish we could turn time back.
Life is not something for which we can rehearse;
We can't fast forward it; can't put it into reverse.
Each day is a blank canvas, ready for us to paint;
Memories of some days are vivid; some seem feint.
It is up to each of us to choose how we fill our days;
There are so many options: so many different ways.
There are times when we all wish our lives away,
Especially when looking forward to a special day.
The days in-between, we wish just would not exist,
But, from our lives, those days would be sorely missed.
Some moments, we wish wouldn't fade into the past;
We wish we could pin them down, and hold them fast.
Those moments, we wish we could capture in a jam jar,
So that we can recall just how special to us they really are.
There are moments when we wish time would disappear:
It may be a single minute, an hour, a day, or an entire year.
When we are children, the days seem to just last and last,
But, as we grow older, they all seem to fly by really fast.
Whether it's a really special day, or just mundane;
Whether it's a really sunny day, or pouring of rain,
Every day holds the same amount of value or worth:
Each and every day is a blessing for us on our Earth.

Cynical Days
Another years gone by,
The worlds grown older,
Sometimes I heave a sigh,
People grow colder.
Every day I do my best to show,
I can make it in this world I know,
But all the bad thoughts that people bring,
My faith in human natures
Getting pretty thin.
Help me get through these cynical days.
Help me get through my cynical ways.
You say its just a passing phase,
Youve got to help me get through, these cynical days.
Another see through scheme,
People are shallow.
The dark nights closing in,
My dark thoughts follow.
I try and make my world a better place,
(my efforts seem in vain),
But Im competing in a human race,
(falling deeper down the drain),
That value things that just dont count,
Makes me wonder what its all about.
Help me get through these cynical days.
Help me get through my cynical ways.
You say its just a passing phase,
Youve got to help me get through these cynical days.
Yeah, you say its just a passing phase,
Youve got to help me get through these cynical days.
Yeah, you say its just a passing phase,
Youve got to help me get through these cynical days.
Yeah, you say its just a passing phase,
Youve got to help me get through these cynical days.
Cynical days.
Cynical days.

Motivational Cry Of Those Idealistic
Those procrastination days,
Many saved to use later...
Are out of date.
And time wasted will not be replaced.
The sitting on actions to do,
But left undone...
Should be discarded.
Opportunities for them will not come.
That 'It's-Never-Too-Late' myth once wished,
As the motivational cry of those idealistic...
Can with certainty be dismissed.
These days passing fast for many will be missed.
Anyone questioning the revamping of their existence,
Send them to the Lost and...
Well,
Realistically...
Their loss is their loss and will not be found!

Players
The summer leaves in autumn fall
covering grass and garden walls.
A passing page on life’s stage
soon forgotten as the next season calls,
a circling unforgiving tide
that carries with it our passing lives.
Players are we upon the stage
of life’s ever turning page.
We live today and pray for tomorrow
that we may again grace the stage
of its next passing page.
And so life goes on
from birth and beyond
as players on the stage of life.

Time Re Written
Time goes fast
Time goes slow
Time sees love ones pass
Time sees the living grow
Time finds it hard to forget
Time can store up treasures and sorrows, and very hard to let go...
Time rushes fast
Time stops and starts
Time is shown by nights turn into days
Time makes all the seasons change
Time is going slowly at times but
Time can race you across the line
Time awaits for you to have peace but
Time can also hide sadness deep
Time is sometimes patient
Time can be kind
Time often cruel and
Time can be so so unkind
Time is a second
Time is minute, hour, even days and months
Time is not possible for us to keep
But right now...I wish time will not pass me by
Nor it slip back into yesterday day...
For i have much to look forward
In Time...and much more afar
I am certain now that
Time is a precious thing and will bring along amazing things...
Time...more time...and much much time
And somehow i feel a bit lost at this...
Time
Perhaps only when the dark night comes at long last
I will stop thinking about
Time
For time will no longer matter then
And only then... until then
Each second, Every minute...Even hour and all these Endless days
Bientôt mon chéri, venez à moi

Nowhere Fast
We're always on the run these days
We hardly have the time to say
What matters most of all
Ya you've always been the only one
The only one to make me run
Anytime you call
Let's not talk about the future
Let's not talk about the days gone past
All this time - we've been runnin' round in circles
I can feel a change a comin'
And I know we're gonna make it last
From now on - we'll be goin' somewhere slowly
Instead of going nowhere fast
When everything has come and gone
We'll look back on this road we're on
And see how far we've come (ya we've come a long way)
Faster than the days go by
I know we're gonna make them last
Instead of goin' nowhere fast

Morning, noon and nighttime
A baby crawling
A man surging to sex and moaning to his ecstasies
He is strong
He conquers
He forgets
Where he comes from where he is going
Why he is here
Time. Morning, noon, and nighttime
The seasons that it owns: spring, summer, autumn and winter
The rainy days, the sunny days, colder, warmer,
Freezing and melting,
Sunsets and sunrises
Sensations of time passing, how quick, how fickle
A click and there I am now fifty years old
A swinging of the cradle and how many swings were there
That I remember
And now I am seventy years old
How quick
How short
Time runs so fast, we always talk about the time that ran so fast
We haggle
Time is too short for what I am for where I am going and
For why I am here
It was something thrown and it does not return
Like a word that once was said
You were strong and so arrogant and so unkind
Now you are begging
Kneeling,
Bowing
Kissing time’s feet
Rises so humbly with the help of a cane
Trembling
For mercy
Compassion
There must be a way to an extension for some
Things to be finished for a mission to be accomplished
For such real reason why I am here
Why
I
Am
Here?
Time knows no regret Time does not explain
Alas!
A beggar does not choose and time is his most cruel master.
He does not even hand in some crumbs and
No drops of water
Time is silent and so secretive and it even
Wouldn’t have a word to say it remains unseen.
Alas!

Fast Train
Written by: myles goodwyn
I read the colors this mornin
I read the colors today
About a man who left from nowhere to be someone
And every day he has to pay in every way
I met a man from new york city
He spoke of things Ive yet to find
A good man driven from his homeland
Tryin to find some piece of mind
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train
Its a fast train

It Doesn't Seem It But Believe
It doesn't seem it but believe,
The time has flown so fast.
It doesn't seem it but believe,
The time has flown so fast.
One minute we are wiping a nose.
And the next second...
It seems,
We're now all old.
It doesn't seem that the time has flown away so fast.
It doesn't seem it but believe the time has flown so fast.
It doesn't seem it but believe the time has flown so fast.
Was it yesterday we said hello,
To the one we wanted to do that...good rock and roll.
It doesn't seem that the time has flown away so fast.
It doesn't seem it,
But believe...
The time has flown so fast.
It doesn't seem it,
But believe...
Some thoughts we have we should let pass.
You cain't change a game played when it's over.
Nor can you redefine a lover who has gone to another.
Yes as cruel as it can be,
To see a time we lived to see flee fast.
From a rocking seat!
Yes as cruel as it can be,
To see a time we lived to see flee fast.
It doesn't seem it but believe it that the time has flown so fast
From a rocking seat!
You cain't change a game played when it's over.
Nor can you redefine a lover who has gone to another.
It doesn't seem that the time has flown away so fast.
From a rocking seat!
It doesn't seem that the time has flown away so fast.
It doesn't seem it,
But believe...
The time has flown so fast.
From a rocking seat!
It doesn't seem it,
But believe...
Some thoughts we should have let go pass.
From a rocking seat!
And there we sit by a window looking older.
With plans to feed a cat,
At the back door.
Who meows for leftovers.
It doesn't seem that the time has flown away so fast.

Hold Fast To The Right
Come and sit by the side of your mother my boy
You have only a moment I know
And stay while I give you this parting advice
It is all that I have to bestow
Hold fast to the right hold fast to the right
Wherever your footsteps may roam
Oh for sake not the the way of salvation my boy
That you've learned from your mother at home
In your satchel you'll find there's a Bible my boy
It's the book of all others the best
It will teach you to live and prepare you to die
And will take to the gates of the blest
Hold fast to the right hold fast to the right...

Hold fast to the right hold fast to the right...
Oh hold fast to the right

Tripping...
you go places
riding on a bus
transferring to a boat
sitting for a moment
on a port
seeing people disembarking
on a plank of wood
outside a launch
you see children lifted by their fathers
mothers with umbrella
sunny days
a line of green trees along the
seemingly endless road
more days to
circumnavigate an island
of white sands
night when you are alone with
everyone
staying for a while
checking their bags and
clothes
days are going fast
passing you by
on wish not to hold on any hour
you flow
like a river, yes always like a river
not a part of you wishing a clog
a barrier
you are like a rubber stretched
nothing snaps
