There Is A Purpose And Meaning

No one is obligated,
To shoulder another's burden.
Or protect them,
From a misinterpreted view of life.

We all are presented with challenges.
And beset with missions to accomplish.

There is a purpose and meaning,
For being who we are!
No one here has been created,
To do as they please and leave.

Our experiences should teach us that.
But many do not mature to achieve clarity.
Although seeking to be understood,
Seems to be a goal some choose...
To refuse a reality they have been specifically given!

There is a purpose and meaning,
For being who we are!
No one is obligated,
To shoulder another's burden.
Or be shown an escape route,
To glorify their pleasures!

Who is obligated?

Obligated to take care,
Obligated to spare,
Obligated to be awake,
Obligated to sacrifice,
Obligated to worry,
Obligated to keep smile,
Obligated for life,
Obligated for the name,
Obligated for giving birth,
Obligated for the initial,
Obligated with responsibilities.

What obligation do they have,
When they disown them?
What obligation do they have,
when they abandon them?
What obligation do they have,
when they torture them?
What obligation do they have,
when they walk over them?
What obligation do human have,
when they are alone?

Lean On Me

Heavy burden on your shoulder
Lean on me
Heavy burden on your shoulder
Lean on me
Heavy burden on your shoulder
Everyday just a little bit harder
Heavy burden on your shoulder
Lean on me
Down and out without hope
Lean on me
Down and out without hope
Lean on me
Down and out without hope
Im right here, Ill help you cope
Down and out without hope
Lean on me
Grab a rope and pull me in
But lean on me
Everyday, youll have a friend
But lean on me
Grab a rope, pull me in
Everyday youll have a friend
Grab a rope
In the world, ? ?
And if youre looking for a rainy day friend
Well grab a rope, pull me in
Lean on me
Heavy burden cloudy skies
Lean on me
Ill be the ? ? of weeping eyes
But lean on me
If you always feels like rain
All youve got in life is pain
Heavy burden, go away
Oh... , goodbye
Heavy burden, on you shoulder
Lean on me

Nothing We Say Or Do Goes Unheard

Pray to ask for clarity to come.
Be thankful in your doing of this,
Since nothing that we say or do...
Goes unheard to be dismissed.

Humanity is not an accident,
That has occurred upon this planet Earth.
With a purpose that has meaning...
We are here to accomplish tasks.

Some have not asked to define,
The taste of their assigned flavors.
And often have found that following,
The scent of what has been presented...
Has resulted in their resentment.

Pray to ask for clarity to come.
Be thankful in your doing of this,
Since nothing that we say or do...
Goes unheard to be dismissed.
And ignoring the seriousness of a mission,
Increases the self infliction of conflict.

Pray...
And all will be revealed.

Infestation

From birth to achieve one's purpose,
Is that what it is one's life should be?
Or are we given this experience...
To exist to witness others succeed?

Are we to take life as an expected gift?
To sit in anticipation...
As life should come to us,
To breeze through easily.

From birth to achieve one's purpose,
Like steps come in increments.
First there is a crawling done.
To stand up tall to fall.
Ignoring to stall these as minor incidents.
Is not this life to live with such a preference?

No flying from a leap...
Some believe taken in clean sweeps,
To not repeat...
Incompleted lessons.

From birth to achieve one's purpose,
In sessions God dictates.
Although some prefer to stay whining like babies.
Hoping an empathy negates their impatient wait.

And some are often praised,
When they leave implusive scars...
To leave marks condone!
By others shown...
They too were raised to be just as crazed!
With the effects of this to go unquestioned.
Since their beliefs are released...
For a complete infestation for others to reap.
As reality takes a backseat...
While continuing to be depleted.

The *Uncomplicated Beginning Song

Everything has a meaning
Life is just like this
You are either reality or dreaming
Into what you accomplish
Stars are still each faraway
From us all to know
Though sometime comes a day
When you'll be ready to go

Somewhere in the distance world
Each our dream is staying
Crossroads wending and swirled
Each our steps are laying
What comes through will open eyes
Fill them with its gist
There are worlds and other skies
Inside these Galaxies mist

Everything is worth its while
Coming around again
Having a purpose and its style
Never pointlessly or in vain

Everything has a meaning
Roads to the unknown to be known
Prospects above us are screening
Shifting away the hazy gown

Shifting away its hazy gown…

(*This lyric was simplified, in meaning and with more singable words, from a much larger poem of 640 unsingable lines…)

Chaos, Order, Chaos, Beauty And Ugliness...

beauty must a purpose
have, for instance beauty that
gives peace and
harmony to the world,

presumably this world is a world of chaos,
and chaos is wanton
and understood to be messy and
undesirable, makes the mind
to lack the necessary focus

but what is focus for? what is thinking for?
again, you return to purpose
focus must have a purpose
and thinking must have another purpose

but what is the purpose of purpose?
seems that purpose is beauty
and that purpose without beauty is not desirable,

and so on and so forth,
people get so confused, they want order as though order itself is
beauty
as though it is one purpose that we need,

the universe must have an order
a system, every planet orbiting around the sun must have
a purpose
as though they are human beings like us
as though they are us

look at this poem, read it so well,
it has no purpose but to make you think
make you doubt

that perhaps beauty to be beauty must be wanton
and chaotic, which by itself is a reality
and reality is always
beautiful,
it has always a purpose and this is what you think it to be

right now, but is this really so?

Burden Of Freedom

I stand on the stairway
My back to the dungeon
The doorway to freedom
So close to my hand
And voices behind me
So bitterly damn me
For seeking salvation
They dont understand
Chorus:
Lord, help me to shoulder
The burden of freedom
And give me the courage
To be what I can
And when I am wounded
By those who condemn me
Lord, help me forgive them
They dont understand
Their lonely frustration
Descending to laughter
Erases the footprints
I leave in the sand
But Im free to travel
Where no one can follow
In search of the kingdom
They dont understand
Chorus:
Lord, help me to shoulder
The burden of freedom
And give me the courage
To be what I can
And when I have wounded
The last one who loved me
Lord, help her forgive me
I dont understand.

Obligated to be Crazed

Obligated to be crazed!
It seems that way,
Where the people's minds are
These days.

Poisoned by foods processed and packaged.
Tainted by liquids,
Whether alcoholic or faucets tapped.
Chemicalized soft drinks and sugared cereals...
Leave our children hooked.
And parents left with empty pocketbooks.

Obligated to be crazed!
It seems that way,
Where the people's minds are
These days.

Those claiming to have faith,
Feel unsafe in their homes.
They call themselves 'christians'
But pack guns to protect themselves...
From lifestyles they have condoned!

They are the ones believing they have rights,
Of all kinds.
Even to self destruct...
In racial divisions,
They've been conditioned to keep up!

And like ducks following 'quacks'
To be led like sheep to dead ends!
These same folks provoke others in conflicts...
They inflict and then insist,
There are needs to defend.

Enlightenment for them,
Means to incite bitterness and not peace!
Blaming their standards and values have diminished.
And they would feel more secured,
By the hiring of more police on urban streets.

Obligated to be crazed!
It seems that way,
Where the people's minds are
These days.

But a self examination,
That has increased their degradation...
Is too obvious although not admitted.
That this is mindset praised.
Demented!
And obligated to be crazed.

Diminishing Of Integrity

A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
A diminishing of equality,
Now gone.
And...
A quality of life once wished,
To value and exist to admit...
Is,
A deficit of dreams,
That seem to demean...
With no purpose or meaning.

A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
A diminishing of equality,
Now gone.
With a deficit of dreams,
That seem to demean...
With no purpose or meaning.

A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
With a deficit of dreams,
That seem to demean...
With no purpose or meaning.

A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
And seems to demean,
With no purpose or meaning.

A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
With no purpose or meaning.

A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.
Now gone.
Now gone.
A diminishing of integrity,
Now gone.

What Is...?

What is the meaning of hate?
Is it the dislike of someone different than you?
Or is it the loathing of something simple like broccoli?

What is the meaning of discrimination?
Is it the hatred of someone of a different background?
The hatred of skin color;
Or is it the bitter taste of being different from everyone else?

What is the meaning of uniqueness?
Is it the purpose of being odd and unusual?
The adaptation to your own life and style;
Or is it the stereotypical clan that society has put you?

What is the meaning of life?
Is it that time keeps moving; leaving us in the dust is leaves behind?
The endless stream of consciousness that everything has;
Or is it the meaningless and indefinable thing we give every day?

What is the meaning of death?
Is it that grim reaper knocking at your door?
The inky blackness of nothing;
Or is it something that can’t be defined only experienced when it is time?
Many questions are asked everyday without even meaning to ask them.
They are hidden within the minds of those who are too afraid to speak out;
To let THEIR voices be heard.
So I ask you these questions in hope that you will ask them yourself;
To find the meaning of it for yourself and not what others say it is.

One final question is all I leave you with.
What is the meaning of everything that you thought you knew?

Burden To Carry

Every man has a burden to carry
And some seem to carry it very well
While others complain, about the burden and strain
And as their fall from grace to all they must tell.
They will blame all others for the life they live
And then brag and lie for pity and shame
They will tell themselves to halt, that it was never their fault
So they figure their loss will also be their gain.

Every man has a burden to carry
And some need to carry that burden alone
As they don't seek help, from no one but themselves
And only GOD will feel their pain or hear them moan.
The burden they have is their right of passage
As they walk through life to become a man
Every step that they take, another worry they will forsake
And truly that a vigilante only he should understand.

Every man has a burden to carry
And so many carry it with a vigor and pride
As they head down the road, with their own life's load
While keeping a happiness and love and joy deep inside.
They live the life that was presented to them
And never once do they complain or quit
They take life in it's stride, they throw their chest forward in pride
And what they lost or will loose, they will never miss.

Every man has a burden to carry
And to see it just look upon a mans face
He will either be wearing a smile, like holding a child
Or else you'll see pain and sorrow and even disgrace.
Just walk in his footsteps at least one time
Take his journey as he run's or walks or even tarries
Then you will feel the weight, that man can't escape
As every man has a burden, that he must carry.

Keep The Intent Of Your Purpose

Although there seems to be,
A slowing done of your focused flow...
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Don't let that motivation go.

Stay true to yourself,
Knowing your beliefs do not deceive.
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Do not let that purpose leave.

It is difficult enough,
To constantly be bombarded...
From those events,
That fuss things up.

It's enough to want to cuss,
Everything believed to be corrupt.
But that 'outside' stuff that is happening...
Has a meaning that should awaken all of us.

Although there seems to be,
A slowing done of your focused flow...
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Don't let that motivation go.

Stay true to yourself,
Knowing your beliefs do not deceive.
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Do not let that purpose leave.

Each day collect pieces,
Of your sanity.
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Be gentle and easily allow yourself to breathe.

Challenges That Still Exist

I evaluate the situation this way...
I do not have to defend my insights.
Especially if I am the one living my life,
As it has been lived.
And none of my experiences were given.
They have been earned.
With challenges that still exist!
And breathe freely I do...
Without being defensive about it!
Nor do I become offended by ignorance.
We all have our missions to accomplish.

Shoulder To Lean On

since we all need a shoulder to lean on
i lean on any shoulder on me
i kneel on many like me
but i see a storm over me
i feel the waves over me
the great polar winds over me
might have mistaken-ed over me
but a mystery of unbeknownst
and fantasy have purported my brains
the pain so nice to purpose my veins
to run through a blood of taste
when life odds itself from waste
the exit is to die
that is how i never ask why
because i am ready to die
when no shoulder on me
can not carry me (any further)

Lost As A Treasured Experience

If it was not meant to be taken seriously,
None of it would have been given to be taken
With a purpose to receive,
And comprehend its meaning.

Instead of comprehending the meaning of it,
It has been left to sit
As of its existence is there to provide,
One a uselessness.

And one who has decided,
That all there is to it was to use
Until the nourishment from it was exhausted.
Then an exhaustion from taking it for granted
Leaves.

If
It was not meant to be taken seriously,
What is the purpose for any of it to exist.
Just to please the existing of the unimportance,
To prioritize an increasing toleration of nonsense.

And
If nonsense continues to increase,
The purpose of witnessing any of this
Diminishes in value to be lost as a treasured experience.
Never to have been found worthy of its priceless blessing.

There Are Weights On My Shoulder

there are weights on my shoulder
and everyday they keep on a certain burden
i slouch a bit making a balance between pain
and capacity to bear this
kind of living,

time knows how to manage burdens
and weights and
pain, and so here i am before you

as you read the last line of my words
i am finally attuned
i have taken the scales of
equivocation and wandered along the spaces
of ambiguities
and ironies and paradoxes

in such a way that whatever side i take
on whatever wall i lean
on whatever river i cross
and sometime even dream of flying across the
boundaries of this human fence

i have learned the art
this trick of picking up meanings

yes, i have understood the meaning of my life
i am lifting the lightness of the weight of my being.

i have wings
without feathers.

Meaning

The meaning of life
Is truly unimportant.
Finding the answers
Will not remedy sorrows
Or relieve distress.
It will not give us insight
Or greater purpose.
If anything, that meaning
Will just make us more confused.

Note: According to Webster's Dictionary circa 2009, the meaning of life is: 'A state after birth that precedes death.'

A Point of View Expressed

Mellowed in a way no one would guess...
That stress, conflicts and disappointments met.
And beating unflavorable odds,
To squash surmounting tests.
Perhaps this is how an arrogance evolves...
To give the impression,
A point of view expressed...
Is the only one that is best!

Blessed and gifted,
With the right mix that blends...
A tempered outlook,
To defeat those challenges that begin.
With a struggle to survive,
Seemingly without end...
For them who thrive,
To keep a purpose inside alive!

Some ignore opportunities as chores,
And turn their backs away...
Instead of examining,
What is behind each door.
Frightened to respond to knocks...
And the meaning and purpose,
Goes for them once again...
Unexplored and stops.
Believing those who find their treasures...
Do it without frustrations,
And/or heartbreak to endure!
With nothing else to do,
But to review their stock!
In a contentment,
Which upon them dropped.

Not true say those...
Who have heard this before!
With bruises to show,
But choose to ignore!
