There Is a Difference
I'm glad I saw you!
Since this needs clarification.
And I'd like to set the record straight!
I did not pretend I did not know you,
When last I saw you with mutual friends.
I ignored you.
There is a difference!
And...
If you watch very closely,
I am going to apply the same technique...
In just a few seconds.
'But 'why' do you go through this process to explain? '
You're a lieing backstabbing sleazeball!
And the next time you say something about me not true...
I will be less than complimentary!
'Uh....'
Your seconds are up!

Seconds
All day
Hiding from the sun
Waiting for the golden one
Waiting for your fame
After the parade has gone
Outside was a happy place
Every face had a smile like the golden face
For a second
Your knuckles white as your fingers curl
The shot that was heard around the world
For a second
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds of your time to take his life
Seconds
Seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
For a second
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
For a second
It took seconds of your time to take his life
Seconds of your time to take his life
For a second
For a second
For a second

17
17 seconds of compassion
17 seconds of peace
17 seconds to remember love is the energy
behind which all is created
17 seconds to remember all that is good
17 seconds to forget all your hurt and pain
17 seconds of faith
17 seconds to trust you again
17 seconds of radiance
17 seconds to send a prayer up
17 seconds is all you really need

Frustrating Seconds
These seconds of time that seem so small
really are not that small at all.
They continuously add up to a minute.
Sixty seconds later and all that's within it
is larger as they pass.
And then they add up to an hour.
Now those seconds have more power.
They move along and soon there'll be
another day gone from you with me.
Seconds, minutes, hours and days
have grown so long in heartfelt ways.
They leave me wondering just how long
these drawn out seconds did me wrong?
I'd love to bundle them up real tight
and little by little squeeze them at night.
And when the dawn is here again
remember all of them and say Amen.
I do not wish my life away.
I just want those seconds to go their way.
Let them add up for another fool.
For these seconds for me are much too cruel.
I don't need seconds, minutes or hours
to remind me of eternity.
I will not count the time anymore
for all it contains is the misery
of being away from you.

Seven Seconds Away [Collaboration with Miranda Mabuto]
Slow down pretty woman,
We are almost there,
We have walked a million miles,
We cant fail a single mile away,
Open your heart
For love is approaching you
Slow down pretty lady,
We have had a million smiles,
You are almost mine,
Open your heart almost lover,
Together we will be fine
Come along my angel,
Its me and you in this world
We can never go astray
Babie nomore delay
We are just seven seconds away
Its seven seconds away,
Seven seconds away in our way,
Me and you against the world,
In seven seconds it will be us
Its now we, nomore I and you
Come along babie in seven seconds
Hold me and go away with me,
From the cruel world shall we flee,
Me and you a happy heart
Running in the fields like the flock
Be calm my love, watch the clock
Seven seconds away
Seven seconds away,
Seven seconds astray,
Babie come my way
Yes, for a perfect get away
Its only seven seconds away
Nomore wait and delay,
The dancefloor will be soon ours,
Hold my waist come lets play,
I will dry the tears you cry
We are just seven seconds away

Seconds To Fall
Well it took years to climb that hill
And now we look up to the mountains
As high as you might climb there still
Something we should not forget
It takes seconds to fall
Seconds to fall
Could happen that you can scratch the clouds
Could happen that you come tumbling down
Could be you find yourself at the top of the stairs
Could be youre just another clown
It takes seconds to fall, yeah
Seconds to fall
Seconds to fall, oh yeah
At the top of the stairs, nobody cares
What has been, or what will come
I dont want to preach, no Im not the one
But you better hear me call
It takes seconds to fall, yeah
Seconds to fall
Seconds to fall
Seconds to fall

What I learned most was how to tell a story in 15 seconds or 30 seconds or 60 seconds - to have some kind of goal of what to try to do and make it happen in that time.

Split Seconds
SPLIT SECONDS
Open your eyes
Take a look around you
You light me up
Like I'm some kind of saint
If black and white
were the only colours
if you and I
were the only ones
Trying to buy some time
I'd try to buy split seconds
Trying to buy some time
I'd try to buy split seconds
I open my eyes
and fear it 's not the last time
You set me up
like I'm some kind of fool
Trying to buy some time
I try to buy split seconds
Trying to buy some time
I try to buy
the scars to prove that
we're not the only ones
the scars to prove that
I am
that I am
Trying to buy some time
I try to buy split seconds
Trying to buy some time
I try to buy split seconds
Trying to buy some time
I try to buy split seconds
Trying to buy
Trying to buy

The difficult thing about a pop record is that you're given guidelines: it has to have 3 choruses, and then it must be between 3 minutes fifteen seconds and three minutes forty-five seconds.

Seconds Before
(SECONDS BEFORE)
somewhere in 1970 or so
I remember your smile
(secondsbefore)
telling me you 'wanted to live
as quietly as a star.'
(seconds before)
'No...not a movie star
a star above a mountain above a world star! '
(seconds before)
your hair fallen across your eyes
your hair hiding your smile

I Need A Complimentary
I need a complimentary
Just a smile would be energy
In a hard day of work
It will raise my spirit to hold on
I need a complimentary
Just a ‘thank you’ would be necessary
Though my job is small and looks unimportant
I help you in the place you can not see
I need a complimentary
Just a hug would be insurance
That what I do is worth to fight
Even I should sacrifice myself
I need a complimentary
Just a soft tap would be a relief
I need you to acknowledge me
So I could be a better me
I need a complimentary
Just a cup of tea would be enough
To quench my thirst in longing
And I don’t waste my time in waiting
I need a complimentary
Just a simple comment would be happiness
When at least you remember me
Though you don’t mean it as anything

The Wait
I stand
As the time fies by
With the ticking of the clock
Sounding large by the dock
Moments turning into seconds
And
Seconds running into
days, months, years.
Alone I wait
In this harbour
For arrival of
Only god knows
Who, what, why?
I think my heart would understand
My mind need not try.
Anxiously I watch
As each cargo is dismantled
Searching
Only god knows
Who, what, why?
I think my soul would recognize
My eyes are too shy.
Silently I witness
As each ship pulls out anchor
Slowly disappearing from eye.
And
I wait
As the time flies by
With the ticking of the clock
Sounding large by the dock
Moments turning into seconds
And
Seconds running into
days, months, years.

88 Seconds In Greensboro
88 seconds
Is all it takes
88 seconds
Dont make mistakes
Weve seen you
We can see you
In red and blue
In black and white
Under crystal skies
In full daylight
You know it
God you know it
88seconds
Is all it takes
In 88 seconds
We dont make mistakes
We know you
Oh yes we have known you
Times are changing
But not in our street
Once we played there
Like the good times
You know it
God you know it
Theyre heading for
A shallow grave
With a big black cross
By a tall white house
To a place down south
We wont forget
To be stabbed in the back
By a man they met
In 88 seconds
In greensboro
88 seconds
In greensboro
88seconds
In greensboro
Is all we take

Dejavu
when you see a face or place in your mind
and it takes you back in time.
when you feel that you've been there with
someone with whom to share
the joys and sorrows of yesteryear.
for those few seconds when life stood still
and you seemed to be climbing a hill.
just to see whats on the other side.
and what it could possibly be
that something that's attracting me.
in those few seconds you find a life gone by.
but you can't remember-no matter how you try.
then you think its just dejavu.
but! is it really true?

Every radio station in the united states is a communication to the

Jackets on the record albums have their own hidden symbols and
Messages as well as the lyrics to all the top rock songs and they all
Sing the same refrain: its fun to take a trip, put acid in your veins.
I want to reach out and touch the
I want to touch the sun
But I dont want to fly
Im gonna climb up every mountain of the moon
And find a distant ? man a-waving his spoon?

Ticking Clock....
Overwhelmed.....just need a place to sit....
the thoughts in my mind,
well....they just won't quit!
Funny how a clock can grab my attention,
you know.....
the kind with the seconds...
counting down.
As I loose my mind in thoughts of the day,
that click...the seconds....
I have to weigh...
I'm here...
I'm now...
then seconds are clicking....
So I have a thought.
Why am I wasting now?
Just how do I love this second?
I don't want to waste precious time....
the clock makes me hear my stupid whine....
Damn you ticking clock! ! !
Every Six Seconds
Every six seconds
Every six seconds
Baby I can't stop
My mind from slipping
Every Six seconds or less
Preoccupation with the opposite sex
And you're the one I blame
For making me go missing
I think of you in different ways
Fourteen thousand times a day
Victoria's Secret I've been keeping
And its getting harder all the time
I can't keep it undercover
I need your soft lips kissing mine
Chorus:
Every six seconds
My body start begging
Your sweet thing is wreckin' me
Untill you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
Another cold shower
Until you give me some (until you give me some)
I picture you
In red Mac lipstick
Smudgin' all over me
Leavin' a mark on my fantasy
Or swimming in water
Wearing nothing but moonlight
Both of us soaking wet
Splash
Halfway to the towel
That's as far as we get
Victoria's Secret I've been keeping
And its getting harder all the time
I can keep it undercover
I need your soft lips kissing mine
Chorus
Every six seconds
My body start begging
Your sweet thing is wrecking me
Until you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
another cold shower
Until you give me some
Every six seconds
My body start begging
Your sweet thing is messing me
Until you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
Girl, you've got the power
Until you give me some
Thoughts of you keeps swimming through my brain
Baby night and day and I
Cannot concentrate on anything
but this urge I have inside
Every six seconds
Every six seconds
Until you give me some
Every six seconds
Every six seconds
Until you give me some
Chorus 2x
Every six seconds

If You Don't Know What You Want
How long have you been doing this?
'What time is it? '
No,
I mean in years!
'What time is it?
Do you have a second hand,
On your watch?
Should I include those...
Seconds!
Now...
Do you want the time before,
Or after my birth? '
Why can't you ever answer my questions directly?
'I'm trying to!
Do you want a response you want to hear.
Or the one I wish to give? '
Either way I wouldn't know.
'Than why ask the question?
Don't accuse me of not being direct,
If you don't know what you want.'
Why you gotta use logic?
'As if you know the difference! '
Why do you want to insult me!
'Now you are making requests.
Like I said...
You don't know what you want! '

Take Your Hand Out Of My Pocket
(Sonny Boy Williamson)
Take your hands outta my pocket, baby
I ain't got nothin' let to loan to you
Take your hands outta my pocket
I ain't got nothin' left to loan to you
If you don't take your hand out
I'm gonna call the police on you
I got hip to your record
The first thirty-five seconds I got in town
I got hip, hip to your record
The first thirty-five seconds that I got in town
If you don't take your fingers off my wallet
I believe the Man is gonna take you down
Whoa, yeah
Play the blues, n' blow

20 Seconds of courage
20 seconds of courage is all we need to change the world. Maybe if we all had a little more courage the world would be a happier place.
20 seconds of courage is all we need to tell that someone what you feel for them
20 seconds of courage is all we need to have a happy life
20 seconds of courage is all we need to change the world.

This Calm Turmoil
so, seconds and seconds passed
in my life
although every time I want to always be beside you
see your face
shaded
always
I feel lost
I'm not on your side every
o, the turmoil of young blood
heady
segaligus disturbing
and no drug that
This calm turmo
