Deposits I have made,
Throughout the years...
Without expectations,
Of receiving a dividend.
Was not a reason,
Why I chose to bank my time.
There was a giving of it I needed to do.
And then one day it happened.
I became the recipient of interests,

Inside my happiness...
Inside my happiness, there is nothing but happiness for me.
Inside my happiness, the colors are so bright and vivid and I am able to see everything clearly.
Inside my happiness, there were no dark times because in my happiness the sun always shines.
Inside my happiness, there is no pain, there is no fear and there certainly is no doubt.
Inside my happiness, we all live as one and there is peace for all beings.
Inside my happiness, there is God and he has planned all of this for me.
Inside my happiness, addiction never happend.

Women's League Day Care Center
My early lessons taught,
Were delivered...
At the Women's League Day Care Center,
In Hartford, Connecticut.
I had to have been all of two,
Or maybe 3 years old...
When I first began the beginning,
Of an aware consciousness.
I though my mother was giving me away!
And I was quick to show everyone,
Within listening distance...
I didn't like it at all!
I remember Mrs. Hines!
And the wrought iron encased stairsteps,
To the dismal West Avon Street joint.
Right off of Main Street.
A stone's throw...
From Bellevue Square.
A tenement project,
I loved and hated equally.
OH!
I forgot.
This is a poem.
Not a Declaration of Independence.
Well,
Anyway...
The Women's League Daycare Center,
Was extremely significant in my growth process.
I didn't realize it,
Until I was well into my 20's...
What a gift, my sister Mimmie and I, were given.
Gee...
That was back in either 1949 or '50!
And Mim and her husband AL,
Are GRANDPARENTS.
You know...
My mother 'always' told us,
God works in mysterious ways.
And to this day,
I'd like to know...
How my niece, Shayla
And my nephew, Landry...
My sisters Tammy and Lisa,
Get to be...
So much 'older' than me?
Do we 'not' share the same genes?
OH!
This could go on and on.
I feel it!

His Light For You Will Always Shine
May the sun always brighten your path to lead your way,
let the sun warm your path to happiness and for you bring glorious days.
Never hesitate to stop and pick a flower along your way,
this to represent life to it's fullest extent.
If rain begins to puddle your path, look up to the Heavens,
if there's no sun, remember the light is still there.
The light of God's son will always shine for you,
just follow his word and on the right path you will stay
your whole life through.
Let the sun be your mirror each day, let it reflect
your beautiful memories of past days.
A blanket the sun will be for you, warming
you to your very heart, with ever ray.
In darkness, when the sun doesn't shine, God's son
will still provide a light for you. His light will always
remain in your heart, and be a guide for you through, all time,

Graduation of Christina
A sweet rose in the garden of Arts blushin'
With her colors and brush, she makes the paintings flushin'
And also in Decoratıon, she does it beyond any estimation
Tonight, everyone has to carry for her all the appreciation
in her wonderful ceremony of graduation
And you, Chrıstına, like a bright star in heaven, will be
Da Vıncı, Pıkasso and Angelo, all of them, will see

photos taken, for your lovely presence took us some beatin'

Deep Down Inside
Deep down inside hidden within
hides the pain of my soul, dark memories from back then
so fresh in my heart they seem never to leave me alone
and just when i think happiness is mine, pain reminds me its not gone
in the windows of my soul, pain sits near
leaking out every now and then in the form of a innocent tear
the pain behind the tear is far greater than the little water that slides down my face
its the origin that holds the pain, reality that fills the space
for my tears never reveal the pain in my cry
and happiness is all thats seen to the naked eye
never letting anyone truly understand the reason behind tears rain
for they always hear the story, not once seeing the pain
as if it could be understood, the reason for hearts cry
for my mind has already concluded reality as being the reason why
in all my pain and struggles ive never been able to stop time
ive only allowed pain to pile giving it permission to forever be mine
but the windows of my pain tell a truth, that even i sometimes cant see
all the pain and struggles that ive swallowed through the years has made a warrior out of me
for i am a ball of strength, only revealing a smile
and wisdom has led me to believe throughout the years its strength and not pain that has continued to pile
sometimes my wisdom and heart just dont agree
my soul has to be reminded that this is my reality
that all this pain was built from way back then
and behind hearts door, and souls window my true pain hides within

Season's Greeting
God gives us His Son
To save the world,
So that we can be saved.
God gives us His Love,
Through giving us a baby,
Called Jesus Christ.
God calls upon Mary, our Mother of God,
To bear His precious and glorious Son,
To give us meaning in life.
We celebrate Jesus Christ's birth
By giving gifts,
By renewing our belief and faith,
By celebrating Christmas.
We remember His presence,
We remember God's gift,
To share and spread His Love

We Are Here To Do and Not Leave Undone
I have soooo much to be thankful for.
So many blessings.
Heartache, pain and struggle,
Are parts of all of our lives.
If we only understood,
we (a collective 'we') ...
Are here to overcome our challenges.
And not be succumbed by them!
If we choose to win...
We must stay in it,
With an expectation we can identify
As a success achieved!
An acceptance of what 'is'...
Would keep us moving forward,
Seeking fun and happiness.
And committed to be accountable...
For all of our actions.
And being productive...
Regardless of the circumstances.
Or...
We can choose to remain seduced by fear and limitation!
If we let go and let God do His/Her or Its 'thing'
In our lives...
More wholesome ones we would live.
Without believing we have control.
And we do...
Hold onto those emotions.
To select and remove the bitter from the sweet!
For an incomplete experience!
And experiences should teach,
All those who have truthfully embraced a consciousness.
That delivers to us our observations.
We are here to do,
And not leave undone...
Any assignment God has given!

Rainbow of my Life
You put rainbow into my life
Different colors, so bright
Rainbows that full of life
That gives colors to the lonely skies
Rainbows end is a pot of gold they say
A treasure to keep as long you stay
Rainbow is like a man or a woman in our lives
It shines, gives us colors, gives us life
That would shine through the rest of our lives
But sometimes rainbows are gone
Not shining nor not giving colors in the clouds
Nor not giving life to the lonely skies
When its so hot and dry
Rainbows is like a life
Giving us water when everything is drought

Search For Happiness
Searching for happiness is an art
That you won't find lying in a cart
So if you want to take a start
Look for it inside your heart
As happiness stays in our view

Its actually a miracle that is true
And brings you joy when you're feeling blue
And happiness is like an Inverter's gate
That returns you love when you enter hate
And it is always open for those who wait

Happiness Is Not Comforts
‘Does Happiness depend upon comfort? ’
The answer is definitely a big, ‘No! ’
Happiness lies in not comforts alone!
Happiness is not a static quality of the human mind, body and soul.
All can’t remain happy all the time.
It would be foolishness to wish for a life, filled with happiness alone;
Happiness is more when woes come in-between.
Happiness is just a feeling weird!
Life could become boring and monotonous, when happiness is prolonged.
Even the pauper can be happier than the prince.
Even the beggar smiles and sleeps well, despite much strife.
Happiness is a frame of mind that’s dynamic in nature;
Happiness is a kind of mood of feeling very well;
Happiness is a state of one, when life seems worth living;
Happiness is something strange that varies with time, experience and wisdom.
Happiness is all within;
Happiness is in giving;
Happiness is in sharing;
Happiness is the ceiling, whatever you fix!
Happiness does not wholly depend on comforts;
Happiness cannot be bought by money;
Happiness is not all luxury;
Happiness is abstract to the core!
Happiness is in being child-like, though adult;
Happiness is in making and seeing the less fortunate ones, smile;
Happiness is in acting adult-like, although a child
Happiness is in giving something to someone, although you still need it.
Happiness is in sacrificing for others’ sake;
Happiness is in giving up your chance to someone, who most needs it;
Happiness is in doing acts of charity;
Happiness is when you’ve led a righteous life.
Happiness to some is in dreams alone;
Happiness to some doing risky feats;
Happiness to a few is in a sheer lazy life;
Happiness to some is in yeoman service to mankind.
Happiness is a phenomenon;
Happiness is a quirk of fate;
Happiness is quite rare and scarce at times;
Happiness to some is in living in a virtual world!
Happiness is in braving the storms of life;
Happiness is in toiling for others’ sakes;
Happiness is in sharing your talents and ken;
Happiness is in loving your poor brethren.

Paths Of Happiness
If the path is beautiful, check where it leads?
But if the destination is beautiful-
Don’t worry about the hardships, keep moving.
There is no path that leads to happiness;
But happiness itself is the only path, goes every where.
Continuous efforts- not strength or intelligence, fetches happiness.
Happiness and excuses do not work together,
If we think about excuses, forget about happiness;
And if we want happiness, forget excuses.
Money can’t buy happiness,
But it is less painful to cry in a palace, than in a hut:
So don’t insult happy moments.
Happiness is like sunlight,
It shines in the corner of the heart,
And offer every morning fresh hopes.
It is very difficult to give happiness,
But try to at least erase somebody’s sorrow,
Like a good eraser.
Whenever offered with half glass of milk,
Call it half full and not half empty,
Happiness should be enjoyed with what we have,
But not reject due to what we do not have.
Happiness without positive attitude is merely destiny,
But happiness with a positive attitude is called, achievement;
So try to be a happy achiever in life.
Soft speech, clean heart, calm eyes, strong hand, focused mind:
And firm determination, with God’s love and blessings,
Always make us a happy winner, so always be a happy winner.

The Pain Of Moving On
A tree looked up to one star and that one alone,
It didn't see any other stars but that one.
It was its bestfriend.
Its happiness.
Its everything.
The tree continued to grow taller.
Hoping, wishing that his height would bring him and the star closer.
Instead the taller the tree grew the further the star got.
The star tempted the tree on some nights, letting its star shine so bright...
so that it seemed closer.
Then it really was.
But the star just wanted to see its beautiful reflection on the tree.
Not to spend time with it.
And the tree watched.
Cried.
Hated.
As he watched the star shine for another tree and forget about him.
Wasted his time.
Cared too much.
For a star he had known all his life,
He watched put others before him.
The sadness was too much to bear.
So it wouldn't grow and was cut down
Down.
Down.
Down.
The star continued to move
Up.
Didn't even stop and think.
About what it had done.
