The Choice Would Seem to Be Easy

As the Sun rises on the horizon,
To lift new beginnings...
And clearing paths walked,
Along a journey stalked by distractions.
Will visions accept a guide assigned to lead them?
One they were not told or prepared...
Would appear before them,
With darken skin and kinky hair?

One who did not smile...
But offered a truth they had not heard in a while.
Or would they turn their backs,
And declare a wish for darkness?
To immerse themselves in further attacks.
Since they had grown accustomed...
To those who tormented them,
With such acts.
And sought for them prolonged despair.

The choice would seem to be easy...
However,
An experience in gloom...
Some considered more appropriate.
Than following someone,
Who promises a dawn...
Clearly showing proof,
They should move forward.
Move on!
But some will choose to sit in dismay...
Since the appearance of 'light'
Affects their lack of having insight!

Only If God Says Yes

Choices that we make in life
May take us far
Chances that we take tonight
May lead us into darken places
But at the end of Godly choices
Are higher dreams
But in the game of chance
Theres only a guilty wave or stream
Sometimes I don't know which road I should take
Sometimes I don't know which move I should make
But it's only if God says yes
I'll make my move
And it's only if God says yes
Then I will choose
For it's only if God would just
Bow his head
Then I will do it
Thats what I will do
I started down the right road
Only to end up wrong
The endless journey carried me so far away
From my home and family
But I'm learning I was never meant to go alone
Neither was it meant for me to go on my own no
Sometimes I don't know which road I should take
Sometimes I don't know which move I should make
I'll never go on my own
I'll never go all alone
Sometimes I don't know which road I should take
Sometimes I don't know which move I should make
But it's only if God says yes
I'll make my move
For it's only if God says yes
Then I will choose
For it's only if God would just answer me
And it's only if God would just hear my plead
And it's only if God would just bow his head
Then I will do it
That's what I will do
That's what I will do

All If Not Most Of Their Lives

As long as it is perceived,
There is an advantage had...
By keeping the facts from being known,
And people kept away from truth to be shown...
There will always be martyrs to come and go,
To fight against those...
Defending to protect a worshipping of deceptions.

And difficult it is to do this when that struggle is against...
The ones conditioned to accept lies told to them,
All if not most of their lives!
Since a sleeping in a deep darkness slept,
Where they find comfort that will benefit and prevent...
Any appearance of light that has an appetite to destroy,
Insight to brighten and widen their visions.

Today's the Day

Perhaps today's the day that I break free
Free from the hustle that comes each day
Free from distractions that lead me astray
Perhaps I can be what I'm made to be

Perhaps today's the day I'll choose to move
Move beyond the past into tomorrow
Move with purpose in the way I should go
Perhaps I'll believe I've nothing to prove

Perhaps today's the day I'll find my peace
Peace like a stream flowing fresh to my soul
Peace that brings new meaning and makes me whole
Perhaps that assurance will never cease

Perhaps today's the day I'll hear Your voice
So clearly that my heart will have no choice

If today's the day I'm finally free
May I be free to run and tell the world
With Your banner of love proudly unfurled
For today's the day You have set me free

If today's the day I finally move
May I move boldly toward holy life
Allowing You to guide me through the strife
As I dance for joy for You've made me move

And, if today's the day I find Your peace
May I promote that peace to all I meet
Living in peace and loving those I greet
As I gratefully give others Your peace

If today's the day I will hear Your voice
May I know it and may my heart rejoice

The Path of Hope

The Path of Hope
The Path of Life is layed before you
Life is like a novel…It has elements
It has Characters
It has Settings
It has a Plot
It has Ideals and Morals
Like Friendship and Love
Like Faith and Sacrifice
Like Fate and Destiny
Like Hope and Despair
There are Paths…Paths of your destiny
The Path of Good or The Path of Evil
The Path of Darkness or The Path of Light
The Path of Hope or The Path of Despair
Only you can choose your path
But chose wisely…For you can’t turn back time
You must follow your heart…For it will guide you
Never give up on your dreams
Always Believe…Trust your heart
Don’t let the bad people get you down
Just Believe,
Trust your Heart,
Have Faith in your Dreams,
Have Hope in the Despair,
Follow the Light in the Darkness
Find the Euphoria in the Sorrows,
Trust your Friends,
Follow the Stars…They will Guide you
May the Stars be a Light for you when all other Lights go out
Life is like a Novel…

Fresh Crop From a Premium Stock

Viciously they fight themselves.
As if these attacks,
Will bring back a lack of integrity.
Or erase the affects of their greed.
Again and again...
Truth exposes their misdeeds.
And again and again,
They attempt to hide their sins!
But for how long can this go on...
When the light of honesty,
Brightly exposes the darkness...
That is being lifted away from them.
Showing none familiar or experienced,
To keep this effect dimmed!
Catastrophic is their drop.
A consciousness of this wont stop!
A fresh crop from a premium stock,
Is being harvested!

Even If He Feels It

Wise is the man who stumbles...
Gets up.
And continues to move forward.
Many would rather sit,
And relive the experience,
Of it.
To discuss the affects.

A man who stumbles,
Will not allow himself to be broken.
Even IF he feels it.
He may even show it hurts.
However,
When he begins to believe he is...
He will spend the rest of his life,
A broken man.
With only sadness to offer!
And memories of failure to share.
Recalling a stumbling fall,
Over and over.

Wise is the man who stumbles...
Gets up.
And continues to move forward.
Many would rather sit,
And relive the experience,
Of it.
To discuss the affects.

Seeking pity!
Or something to numb,
The effects of regret!

They Have Become Disenchanted

All the policies enforced and claimed...
That maintains their virtues,
Have not sustained a confidence remaining.
And creaks from cracks long aging,
With substandard production...
Aided by a need to revamp,
The signs of false staging.
Has come to weaken the appearance...
Of a rallied support that dwindles.

Leaving many horrified,
With the realization...
How unqualified the foundation.
And those who represent,
A pretense with their consent.

They had visions to be lead away from darkness.
Yet depended too much on image.
Although that was highly given...
They have become disenchanted,
By the lack of insight shown!

And those dismissed observing this slide...
Knew from the beginning,
A common sense had not yet been displayed.
They knew insight was not the light carried.
Not through this dimming of a light that decreases.

After all...
It does not take too much to masquerade.
Or keep a charade dressed to impress.
Especially when a night for attending
An opera has been planned...
And one who leads their procession,
Comes prepared to rope bulls,
As if at a rodeo.
And having to be explained the difference.
But that does not stop the command,
With a demand...
To have all present change,
Into cowboy outfits.

Can't Go On

How can it be easy to forget you when I think about you all the time
I never know how I miss you when I never had you, well nevermind
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on
It'd be cool if we never met, if we never locked eyes
Then I'd feel so happy, not knowing you're so fine
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on
I get so nuts when I'm around you there's nothing I can say
I wish you'd get outta my head, I think about you every day
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on without...
ROCK!
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on, can't move on, without... you

Journey Is One

JOURNEY IS ONE

Leaning on each other by choice
Holy books of all faiths showing harmony
Echoing their sentiments in universal voice
Baring out truth of one testimony

Journey is one paths are different
Message of every passage is same
Look beyond the messengers being tolerant
For all religions in divine’s name

Towering to skies in same horizon
Holy symbols of all beliefs joining hands
Showing the strength of one vision
Writing one scripture making a stand

Journey is one when it’s all done
Destination is same in everyone’s heart
Like the course of sun and moon
On any given day from the very start

Playing together in world of laughter
Children of all disciples sharing same love
Reaching out to friends and strangers
In the spirit of one God above

Journey is one for each and everyone
How they travel may be different
Some are straight some are ups and downs
Still it is the same after life is burnt

It Implies Not Looking Back

What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.

So many have been comforted,
By schedules made and keeping set dates.
With a scratching off from a menu decided,
To replace or hesitate to eventually procrastinate.

What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.

Even Mother Nature comes to assist with this movement.
With a shifting of Earth and turbulent winds.
Spinning storms called hurricanes,
From the shores of Africa that begin...
In vast waters referred to as the Atlantic Ocean.
And still there are those demanding entitlements,
With preferences prayed in a daily devotion.
As if they have rights to insist a life liked to live.

What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.
But...
Unfortunate are those who believe,
A moving back in time...
Is a choice to make as to who will lead,
Them away from truth...
To produce more delusions and fantasies!

What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.
And leaving behind many detached,
Who will never become attached to reality.

Moving forward is the change everyone will believe in,
Whether to embrace, accept or not.
We live to experience, grow to then distance,
From aged beliefs to advance to other adventures.
With a wisdom kept to keep to be reminisced but not lived,
Repeatedly to comfort our insecurities.

'I hate change.'

Me too.
I wish I had more dollars.

Stages~

Stages
Many are the stages from the cradle to the grave -
Diversities in journey to each of us God gave.
Within each stage of journey lies paths that one can choose-
Depending on the chosen path, we either gain or lose.
Confusion and perplexity may sometimes come our way-
Despondency and sadness may sometimes waste our day.
Among each stage of journey, there's One we cannot see-
Our guide and our companion near He'll always be.
Giving rest when we are weary, giving joy when we are sad,
Comforting and consoling, each broken heart made glad.
Along this present journey looms chance for eternal wealth-
Along this present journey is choice of immortal health.
Deceptions and distractions along this journey lie-
Illusions of elation, beckon you and I.
Depending on the choice one makes determines what will be-
In the stage that's soon to follow, for all eternity...........
The times when I think about, ending my own life
My mind wonders back to the days, of daddy and mama, his wife
How hard it was for them, raising us six kids on what
I really want to see them again-if I do it, I will not
So in this stage of my journey, today I am still here
But everyday I wonder, Would anyone really care
If tomorrow they should wake up, to find that I am dead
Then they would realize, it was not just words I had said
I know my life is a journey and this path is mine to choose
But I feel I've lost everything, what else have I got to lose.......

Aint 'Bout to Give It Up No Time Soon

What do you want?
An experience to please,
In an escaping escapade?

Do you wish someone to comfort you...
As you go through a period of boredom,
In a relationship.
No longer blistering with excitement?

What are your needs?
And please don't say a lack of affection!
I've gone through that before myself.
Only to discover my own selfishness.

How do I survive without companionship?
That's easy!
I listen to people like you...
Prepared to cheat on their spouses.
And when I return home...
I am glad I don't have to confess,
To a place I am blessed to declare all mine!
And I can walk around naked if I so choose.
Feeling thankful and suspicion free.

And if 'anyone' wants to deal with me...?
Believe me it will be on my terms.
This happiness I've earned!
And I aint 'bout to give it up...
No time soon.

So...
What expectation are you anticipating?
Daily discreeted meets?
Or a fling or two during the week?
I don't accept sleepovers.
I'm reserving that...
For someone who comes along.
And unexpectedly can curl my toes.

However...
You wouldn't know that.
Especially if you sought a donation.
And I was in the mood to provide a charity visit.

Their Closest Relatives

People hypnotized and transfixed,
Have grown more accustomed
To their movie productions.
And those creative emotional TV shows.

So accustomed to myths,
People are.
And the praying to what is believed,
To what has been embedded
In their minds,
Exists.

People do not wish to be told,
About the thought process of Nature.
And how that goes.
Or about Earth and Mother Nature.
The relationship between them.
How that works and what they know.

People wish and desire to accept,
They are more powerful
Than that which 'allowed' them life,
And gave to them breath.
People reject with a dismissing of this,
That which gifted them and permitted their lives.

People have grown more accustomed,
To their movie productions.
And those creative emotional TV shows.
Yet,
Give zero respect to their closest relatives.
The Sun, The Moon
And how together,
They affect their lives lived here on Earth.

People have chosen to become accustomed,
To ignoring as if they do not hear or listen.
Or are aware of them with comprehension.

People choose not to accept this as is.
People choose to believe from that which exist,
They are not born from it.
People choose for themselves to believe,
For them
There is no connection to perceive.
Even though what is they can not conceive,
Flows through their veins and bleeds!

The Journey without shortcuts

The Journey traveled without shortcuts,
is a journey worth taking.
For there are no shortcuts,
to any place worth going.

The destination does not matter,
but the Journey to it does.
For at the destination,
you will not learn anything.

You will not accomplish much either.
On the Journey to it, however,
you learn many things,
and accomplish much.

On the Journey,
you learn. You learn that,
'We are not human beings on a spiritual journey,
but spiritual beings on a human journey.' (-my good friend Joe)

So travel hard,
and travel well.
Choose your companions wisely,
and leave everything behind.

Never look back,
always move forward.
For 'Yesterday is history,
and history is miles away.' (-Matthew West)

But never forget anything either,
learn all that you can,
and treasure the good times.
Then this Journey will be like no other.

This is the Journey,
of life.
Our life here on Earth,
so don't take shortcuts.

This Journey won't be easy,
but you have a guide.
The guide will never leave your side,
and he will carry you through the rough terrain.

He loves you more than you will ever know,
and he gave you this Journey,
so travel it while holding his hand.
You are not alone.

So again,
never look back,
but don't forget either,
and don't stop.

Don't take any shortcuts,
run the whole race.
You are not alone
on this Journey,
the Journey of life.

He Chooses to Move Towards Daylight

They have come together,
To collectively agree...
He lacks experience.
And he is not qualified to lead.
And perhaps they are right.
Since he chooses to move towards daylight.
And those in opposition...
Are accustomed to a darkness,
To enhance a deepened isolation!
And to exist to feed conflict...
Is all that they have known.

Accustomed To Opposition

I've grown accustomed to opposition.
As well as foolish maneuvers.
And those who object to those positions I have taken.

Nor will I apologize with regrets for those forward steps,
I chose to make that tested my faith.
And admit I do,
To the making of mistakes!

But obstacles and the fear of them,
I could not allow to slow my pace.
And those who choose to procrastinate,
With a hesitating done?
Well...
I perceive as being committed to wasting time.
And time as we live it as lived is not guaranteed to anyone,
To just sit back to see it come to leave.

I've grown accustomed to opposition.
But you know what?
I am here to participate and experience my life.
What others choose with a priority to do with their own,
I refuse to let their choices made get in my way.
I am not prone to the seeking of acceptance.

Mother Africa

Move, move, move!
Academic and academicians;
Where are you to move Mother Africa forward?
Think, think, think!
Illitrates and literates;
Where are you to double up the pace?
Look at the mother hen and think twice;
It shelters its chicken in times of danger! !
Where are you to move things forward?
Where are you to move Africa forward?
Where are the prophets?
Where are you to move things upfront?
Yes, the better ones have come and gone.
They came telling us the truth;
But, what do we see nowadays?
Now, where lise the future of Mother Africa? ! !
Look at the mother hen and think twice.
Mother Africa, move forward;
Move upfront to put the world in shape.
Academic and academicians,
Illitrates and literates,
Think big for Mother Africa! !
Move Africa into a better position on this globe.

Move Me

(stewart, brock, davis, stocker, savigar)
Its obvious darlin
Youve become allergic to me
Are my trousers to wide
Do I drink and get mean
Is my demeanor that embarrassing
Are my jokes obsolete
Or is it my sweat thats no longer sweet
I work hard in the factory
To keep you in luxury
To which youve grown accustomed and you love
Lately you dont light my fuse
Is my fan belt coming loose
Punch me in the Bible baby please
Move me, move me, move me when Im home
Why dont you move me, move me
Move me when Im home
Sometimes baby I awake in the night
I reach out to touch you
But Im scared you might bite
A little emotion wouldnt be out of place
Wake up and love me put a smile on my face
Otis redding said it best try a little tenderness
Aretha wanted more respect
Give me just a little touch
That aint really asking much
Your dog gets more attention than I do
Move me, move me, move me when Im home
Come on and move me, move me, move me when Im home
Sometimes I wonder if youll miss me at all
Emotionally independent, as hard as a wall
Youre so wrapped up in your own little world
Your old time religion is your lunch with the girls
When Im standing next to you even in a crowd
I might as well be on another planet
Tell me what Ive done to you to justify this ridicule
If its over why dont we forget it
Move me, soothe me, move me, rock me
Move me when Im home
Why dont you move me, love me, move me, rock me
Move me when Im home
Why dont you rock me, move me, love me, soothe me
Move me when Im home
Why dont you rock me, rock me, move me, soothe me
Soothe me when Im home

That's life

Although it took me many years.
I did discover finally
that all my hopes and all my fears
combined together made me, me.

I am the man I am today
because of life experience
There really is no other way you
have to learn in self defence.

You must accept that life’s unfair.
All are not gifted equally
you can observe this everywhere.
But only if you choose to see.

We recognise reluctantly
although we pay lip service to
the idea of equality
It is not and cannot be true.

Fate deals the cards you have to play.
You have no choice but do your best
to move forward- day by day.
To prove your better than the rest.

You grasp each opportunity
To put your talents to good use
but some lack your ability.
What fate decrees they can’t refuse.

All are not gifted equally.
You can’t deny that this is true
if you look at it honestly
and that is all I ask from you.
