That Key in My Door for You Will Never Fit
Someone gave you a key,
And you believe it fits this lock?
What else were you told?
That you can come and go...
And take from my backyard,
What you choose to then leave?
Your approach is very bold.
But I'm not hooked on watching TV.
So,
You might as well add me to your enemy list.
There is a limit to your opportunities.
And that key in my door,
For you will never fit.
However,
Let me point out this...
You see those people,
Hanging around over there in the streets?
The ones moaning about their entitlements?
And the diminishing of empathy,
They get from others concerning their needs.
Try that key business on them.
Trust me.
From them you can take away everything.
Just tell them what you want them to believe.

On The Other Side Of The Door
If it takes one key,
To open one door...
With opportunities awaiting,
On the other side of it.
WHY would anyone choose to sit,
Ignoring what has been given...
Because they have decided,
If what is on the other side...
Would be something,
They would choose to like.
And...this is BEFORE,
Any approach was made...
By them towards the door.
If it takes one key,
To open one door...
With opportunities awaiting,
On the other side of it.
And one does not take advantage of this,
But wishes to be given clues and hints?
That key...
That opens that one door,
With opportunities awaiting?
Has been given to someone...
Looking for their ship to sail in.
Even if that ship was on the other side of the door.
'Captain?
We are still awaiting for the arrival of your chosen passenger.
Perhaps there has been a misunderstanding? '
~Do not worry about it.
We will cater to the ones who did use their keys.
We are not here to convince.
Just service.~

Warriors Of The Wasteland (Attack Full Mix)
Watching the wildlife on my way home
the state of Rome
People gliding on the floor
pleased with life not needing more.
Sunset on the river
people go home in the rain
Familar faces on the train
running scared and staying sane.
If you live by the sword
well
that's your own reward
So don't walk with me
watching the wildlife.
The beast within you eats your heart out
get free from hate and get in love.
Boys in the backyard
the girls are hanging out the lines
Washing day
wosh your troubles away
it's a game we hove to play.
Ghosts are chasing your round
things that happen in the past
Don't make that mistake again
the svn beats down the streets of passion.
If you live by the sword
well
that's your own reward
. . .
Your own worst enemy
get free from hate and get in love.
Watching the wildlife
we all live in a dreamin' home
you watch TV and drive a car
we go outside
but not too far.
Watching the wildlife
we walk the water like a sun.
Living cvts yau like a knife
living here watching the wildlife.
living here watching the wildlife.

Clean Up Your Own Backyard
(words & music by b. strange - s. davis)
Back porch preacher preaching at me
Acting like he wrote the golden rules
Shaking his fist and speeching at me
Shouting from his soap box like a fool
Come sunday morning hes lying in bed
With his eye all red, with the wine in his head
Wishing he was dead when he oughta be
Heading for sunday school
Clean up your own backyard
Oh dont you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine
Drugstore cowboy criticizing
Acting like hes better than you and me
Standing on the sidewalk supervising
Telling everybody how they ought to be
Come closing time most every night
He locks up tight and out go the lights
And he ducks out of sight and he cheats on his wife
With his employee
Clean up your own backyard
Oh dont you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine
Armchair quarterbacks always moanin
Second guessing people all day long
Pushing, fooling and hanging on in
Always messing where they dont belong
When you get right down to the nitty-gritty
Isnt it a pity that in this big city
Not a one alittle bitty manll admit
He could have been a little bit wrong
Clean up your own backyard
Oh dont you hand me, dont you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine

To Manage Handled Scandals
Some handle scandals,
Like they've had them before!
As if to manage handled scandals.
I wont leave my house,
Until I check the back door.
And blow out all the candles,
To lock up safe and to feel secured.
I like a romantic atmosphere.
But with someone that's free of scandal.
A sip of wine with candlelight appearing near.
On a one on one...
That's all I can handle.
Discussing private business,
In the midst of close friends...
Invites the whispering of lips,
Or two.
If any two wish happiness,
They should...
Keep other people distant.
Since people have a tendency to snoop,
And move...
Scandalized unproven scoop,
As they choose.
People have a tendency to snoop,
And move...
Scandalized unproven scoop,
As they choose.
Discussing private business in a group,
Is old news.
But no one wishing happiness,
Should invite gossip.
Since...
People have a tendency to snoop,
And move...
Scandalized unproven scoop,
As they choose.

Backyard Brawl
Got a cut on my thigh, got a nail in my eye
And I'm bleedin' all over the wall
Got a barbed wire bat and a dude on the mat
Ain't getting up soon at all
Got a head full of rage and a belly full of hate
I'm the neighborhood legend that just can't wait
For the backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Don't matter who you are, don't matter what color
Brown or white'll do
But if you're yellow you'll be covered in red
A whole lotta black and blue
Jump off the trailer in a pile full o' guys
Scratching and kicking and pulverized
For the backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Only got six teeth but three of those
Are sharp enough to bite off your nose
At the backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl
Another backyard brawl
Backyard brawl

Love your enemies!
Should an enemy be in the friend's list?
Should an enemy be in the ban's list?
When the enemy is in the friend's list,
Either the enemy is dubious or a friend,
When the friend is in the Ban's list,
Either the friend is dubious or a foe,
When that famous enemy of someone,
Was listed in the friend's list of the same,
How many of you shocked and never asked?
As a vocal person, I never raise my voice against abuse,
As I am still confused with the traits of the artists,
Who are good at acting as predators and victims.

Vanilla Sex
Dont ever take away from me my pornography
We obviously dont agree on whats obscene
I have the right to choose what i
Want to see and read
Dont try to take away from me
My tight to privacy what i
Do is no one business but me
So stay in your missionary position
I hope that you got bored to death
Theres no way Im going thru life
Having vanilla sex
The governments trying to get in
Your bedroom you better lock you
Door and close you shades because
There could be someone watching you today
Why do you try to make things illegal
Why do we have to be 21
Are you afraid that people are having
Too much fun
Why do you care what I do in my bedroom
Why do you want to know how I screw
It seems to me youve got nothing better
To do.

Belittling Is On The List
Inappropriate business...
Conducted to disrupt in destructive ways,
Maybe thought to be fun...
For those beginning conflicts done.
Arguments and tantrums do not end.
And the ones igniting them,
Do it...
To offend.
Belittling is at the top of their list.
Belitting others they can't resist.
Belitting is treated as if a gift.
Belittling to do is their wish.
There are people who live to breathe,
To belittle others into fits.
There are people who love to leave...
Others belittled then split.
Inappropriate business...
Conducted to disrupt in destructive ways,
Maybe thought to be fun...
For those beginning conflicts done.
There are people who live to breathe,
To belittle others into fits.
There are people who love to leave...
Others belittled then split.
Belittling is at the top of their list.
Belitting others they can't resist.
Belitting is treated as if a gift.
Belittling to do is their wish.
There are people who love to pick,
Others to belittle then split.
There are people who love to pick,
Others to belittle then split...
With belittling on the list!
Belittling is at the top of their list.
Belitting others they can't resist.
Belitting is treated as if a gift.

In Those Old Days
You may be tough.
But your approach to solicit,
My empathy and pity...
Could have been easier to get,
Without your demanding it.
But I do understand,
The competition you're up against.
And if I may make a suggestion...
You should put that gun away.
Since my first reaction,
Is not empathy with pity for you at all.
'It isn't real.'
Which?
The gun?
Your wish for empathy and pity?
Or my fear?
'Why can't you just co-operate,
And give me what I want? '
Trust me.
I'm going to give you exactly what you need.
Now that I know that gun isn't real.
'The gun IS real.
My need for empathy and pity isn't.
Thank you.
All I wanted was a decent conversation.
You were the only one I spotted,
Not texting or using a cellphone.
You have no idea how difficult it is for me,
To communicate like I did in the old days.'
So you are using a gun to do it?
'Hey...
What can I say.
I'm open for your suggestions.'
Good.
Give me the gun.
And I'll show you what I would have done.
'What are you going to do? '
Communicate my feelings,
Like I use to do in those old days.
And trust me...
You will know immediately,
Just what my feelings are.

Diminishing In Support And Interest
The business of greed,
Has disguised the starting of wars...
As missions to save humanity.
Such conflicts of hunger and homelessness exist,
Without threats associated to the terrorists.
And exposes those deeds achieved by the hypocrites...
That leaves the business of greed,
A clarifying representation of those using deceit.
With increased opportunities to feed their evils.
And advocating the belief a victory sought...
Will bring a people collectively to their feet to cheer.
Although these acts are diminishing in support and interest.

0978..... Belief Vs Trust
Belief is Doubtful, Trust is Certain
Belief is from Mind, Trust is from Heart
Belief is Lip Service; Trust is Heart Felt
Believe many; Trust only a Few
Believing is Easy, Trusting is Hard
Belief scores 50%, Trust scores 100%
Belief is Ordinary; Trust is Extra-ordinary
Belief is Start point; Trust is End Point
Belief is Limited; Trust is infinite
Belief is Shaking Hands, Trust is Embracing
Belief keeps Control; Trust gives up control
Belief is jumping opportunities; Trust is staying
Belief is not Time Tested; Trust passes Tough Times
Belief is Partial; Trust is Complete
Believe in Thoughts; Trust your Intuition
Belief in God is Attempting; Trust in God is Surrender
Belief is Important; Trust is Essential
Belief is Plastic Rose; Trust is Real Rose

Living With The Enemy
I gave you all that you wanted
and still you come back for more
You say that you're brokenhearted
but then you walk out the door
Maybe it is time for us to say goodbye
Where are the tears you never cried?
Hey baby what you got on your mind
are you looking for some sympathy?
I can tell you if it's a truth or a lie
'Cos it's just like living,
living with the enemy
You got me going in circles,
I'm slowly loosing my head
What did I do to deserve this,
you make me wish I was dead
Tell me I'm wrong and I'll be on my way
See you around another day
Hey baby what you doin' tonite?
Are you giving me the perfect dream
I'm so tired and I don't wanna fight
'Cos it's just like living,
living with the enemy, enemy
Living with the enemy, living with the enemy, enemy
Living with the enemy,enemy
Living with the enemy, living with the enemy, enemy

Street Sweepers
There is nothing more disrespecting,
Than to hear others disrespect themselves.
With a diminishing of an environment,
That is claimed to be degrading in standards...
And values.
And those with those points of view,
Are the one's disconnecting their attitudes...
With excuses,
As the cause of their wiltering quality of life.
But you can not tell them that.
You will be told,
To mind your own business.
Even though they are putting theirs all in the streets.
The street sweepers can not keep up to clean.
There is filth everywhere the eyes and ears behold.

Even Though Some Do Not Show They Have a Clue
I do not have to respect you.
I choose to do so.
I choose to be respectful,
Even though some do not show...
They have a clue to what that means.
There has been a breakdown of concern,
Others display for one another.
There is a total lack of empathy,
In many environments where people bleed.
And are homeless and go hungry.
I do not have to respect you.
I choose to do so.
I choose to be respectful,
Even though some do not show...
They have a clue to what that means.
And it is difficult to sympathize,
With those who have 'had' now 'have' not' in their lives.
Those who made it a point to criticize and devalue,
Others they despised.
And now they cry their own tears they can not hide.
I do not have to respect you.
I choose to do so.
I choose to be respectful,
Even though some do not show...
They have a clue to what that means.

Mike Leigh encourages you to choose a person that you know to base your character on. You write a whole list of people that you know and you go through that list in great depth with him. And then he chooses one of those people from your list.

New Opportunities
I answered an advert for new opportunities
and received an admittance to this venue,
but I was lost in this room of strangers
and wondered what I was expected to do.
A young man came over and said mingle,
opportunities were plentiful and new,
put yourself about and meet the people
who were waiting to meet and help you.
I spoke to several extraordinary young people,
but they spoke as if they were old.
I was asked my opinions on life transference,
and whether I thought it would effect the soul.
I was offered a well paid job as a collector
and I would be trained on what to do.
Apparently it was nothing to do with selling,
but a client list should be established from new.
I was led into a room and made comfortable,
and told to sit, wait, and relax.
An attractive woman entered by another door,
extremely sexy and dressed in black.
She told me to stand tall like a mountain
while she examined the cut of my jib.
She felt the firmness in my arms, chest and butt,
and asked me if I’d really like to live.
She took time to straighten my shirt collar
then sniffed and bit my neck.
I’m now a full fledged member of her team,
who will forever be in her dept.

When I Speak To The Flowers
When I speak to the flowers in my backyard
When I speak to the flowers in my backyard
When I speak to the flowers in my backyard
They tell me to leave you, leave you behind
They tell my to leave you, just get you out of my mind.
They tell me to leave you, leave you behind
Ow, forget all the good times, that are making me blind.
I know you run around and youll never settle down
And I should quit while Im still on top
But when you hold me baby in your lovin arms
I could love you forever baby, but
When I speak to the flowers in my backyard
When I speak to the flowers in my backyard
When I speak to the flowers in my backyard
They tell me to leave you, leave you behind
They tell my to leave you, just get you out of my mind.

Thank You For That Good Advice
At one time,
Your back had been pressed against the wall.
Now you have managed,
To lock your head between the apex...
Where two walls meet.
And I remember suggesting,
You go outside to sit on top of the roof.
To get a clearer view.
Hoping you would listen.
But this you did not do.
Yesterday I might have been that fool for you.
Yesterday I was there,
Jeopardizing my own sanity to pull you through.
With no gratitude or regard for me did you prove.
And today you say you have always respected me?
Where was I when this was done?
Was this something I should have known...
Or something you said to another one?
And you are counting on me not to have a good memory?
Unfortunately I do.
And that is why you alone will address,
Your head pressed between an apex...
All by yourself.
When you told me to leave you alone...
My steps did just that,
When I left to accept you were right!
It is best to stay out of other people's business.
And I only returned to thank you for that good advice.
And...
Don't worry.
I will close the door behind me,
When I leave.
See how much I've learned from you?

Too Much Monkey Business
Salesman talking to me tried to run me up a creek
Says you can buy it, go on try it, you can pay me next week
Uh-uh, too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in
Oh-ho-ho
Blonde haired, good lookin tryin to get me hooked
Wants me to marry, settle down and get a home and and write a book
Uh-uh, too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in

Pay phone, somethin wrong, dial gone,
Well me ought to sue the operator for tellin me a tale
Uh-uh, too much monkey business, too much monkey business
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in

Been to vietnam, been a fightin in the war
Army bar, army chow, army clothes, army car

Wipe the windo, check the tires, check the oil, dollar gas
