And an appreciation for my life!
I can not get enough of it.
I don't want to nibble.
I am going to take a tremendous bite!

As public as they are made.

Everyday I feel blessed,

Listening To My Father's Wishes
Never will I accept or believe,
A truth that keeps fear within reach...
Is a reality I will choose to live.
To feel hunted with a haunting,
As if I am a fugitive.
Nor will I find it my duty to seek a weekly dosage...
Of a forgiveness bestowed if I followed on a path,
That releases me of guilt if I professed sins committed.
To feel free again to repeat,
The moment a new week begins.
But I do and will acknowledge,
A gift of life I have been given.
And if I live my life in the making of mistakes...
The Creator who has made it all possible,
Will know immediately how to correct my efforts.
With a direct affecting in my heart to make known,
The path that I travel is not journeyed alone!

Old Man Says Farewell Cheerfully
What is left in life to do
Except to make much
Of the moments, all of them.
Whatever has to happen
Has been done and over:
Now, is the age of retirement.
Nothing 'has' to be done,
And I accept every thing that happens,
Every comment made on me.
Try hard, not hard but try to live
My life without any tension,
Except when anger or lust takes over.

Had identified these two
As spurring him to song.
For me these two make me
Go out of myself and taste life
Whether good or bad I dont know.
So, I am in that blessed state
Where I dont want to be greedy
For anything but just live pure life.
When death comes, it can come,
There will be no fear or disappointment,
It sinks and I am ready to depart.
Had a good life, good parents,
Enjoyed my studies and subject,
Got into IAS and had good postings.
Did in some jobs what meant public good,
Like in Health stopping smoking in public places,
Or promoting gir children in India.
Best of life was to use my five senses,
And to learn to enjoy art and nature
Most important of all, to look into myself.
No moral imperative for me,
God gave and he takes it away,
Blessed like Job in the Bible.
Let me end my self not on a high
Oratorical note, but on a simple
Daily routine, of helping where I can.

This I am sure I would have gone underground,
