Suspicions In The Way
Weren't we once in love?
Or was that just another game to play?
Weren't we once there for one another?
Or was that just for public display?
Questions unanswered.
Time lost and investments hindered.
Broken and mended,
With emotions on the fence.
I was never in love like that.
Nor have I ever,
Been that way since.
Weren't we once in love?
Questions unanswered.
Or was that just another game to play?
Questions unanswered.
Weren't we once there for one another?
Questions unanswered.
Or was that just for public display?
Questions unanswered,
And...
Suspicions,
In the way!
Can't get off the fence,
With suspicions in the way.
Can't get off the fence,
With suspicions in the way.
Can't get off the fence,
With suspicions in the way.

Before the beginning
Why does the human race exist?
Unanswered questions will persist.
Philosophers and scientists
All try to penetrate the mists.
It seems as if each answer found,
leads to a question more profound.
It often seems the evidence
flies in the face of common sense.
Some premises I accept as true
may seem quite different to you.
The things we know or think we know.
Frequently prove to be not so.
It all depends how we perceive
the so called facts which we believe.
Is there a God it would seem so.
I can believe but do not know.
We cannot prove it either way
and so unanswered questions stay.
Unanswered now as they have done
since mans history was begun.
Although we ask we get no reply
Is God still there or did he die?

Over Her
You know I been trying to figure out
Just what's going on
Am I over her?
I been doing a lot of thinking lately
Am I over her?
And I'm really missing you
It's been 3 months, 3 hours, 3 days
Since the last time I seen your pretty face
My decision to bring this to an end
And I'm caught up in reminscing
Having faithful visions of long walks, long talks
Play fights, late nights
It's been on my mind since Valentine's
Cause I had your heart and I let it slide
I ask myself time and time again (again I'm trying to comprehend that)
Unanswered questions still (things to be are meant to end)
Am I over her? (am I over her?)
Am I over her?
Am I over her?
Tell me am I really over my my love (am I over her?)
I can't think straight
Cause I'm too busy thinking of her
Am I really over my love?
I was going through some things that I couldn't explain
Now my situation's taking a big change
They say the grass is greener on the other side of town
Now I'm kinda wishing you would come back around
Is she sad or is she mad?
Does she have a new man, does she have it like that?
It's been so long, thought I would've moved on
Could've been strong and picked up the telephone
I ask myself time and time again (again I'm trying to comprehend that)
Unanswered questions still (things to be are meant to end)
Am I over her? (am I over her?)
Am I over her?
Am I over her?
Tell me am I really over my my love (am I over her?)
I can't think straight
Cause I'm too busy thinking of her
Am I really over my love?
It's water under the bridge
But I can't seem to forget
All the plans we made, all the time we spent
Makes me reminisce
I still see your face
All this love I can't replace
Am I over (am I over)
Am I over her? (her now)
Am I over her?
Am I over her? (am I)
Am I over her? (am I over)
Tell me am I really over my my love (my love my love)
I can't think straight (my love)
Cause I'm too busy thinking of her (never gonna be over her)
Am I really over my love? (never gonna be)
No
Am I over her?
No not over her no
Ohhhhhh
Am I over her?
Am I over her? (over her)
Am I over her?
Am I over her?
Tell me am I really over my my love (am I over her, am I over her?)
I can't think straight (I'm not over her)
Cause I'm too busy thinking of her
Am I really over my love? (ahh oooh)
I'm not over my my my love
I'm not over my my my love
I'm not over my my my love (oh no no)
I'm not over my my my love
Am I over her? (I'm not over my my my love)
Am I over her? (I'm not over my my my love)
Am I over her? (I'm not over my love my love, she's my love, she's my)
Tell me am I really over my my love (she's my everything)
I can't think straight (she's my everything, my everything)
Cause I'm too busy thinking of her
Am I really over my love?
Not over not over my love
Not over not over my love
I'm not over not over my love
Am I over her?
Not over not over my love..

So when I read this story, it unlocked a volcano of unanswered questions, because the questions had never been asked. It was an opportunity to come to terms with the lot of repressed history - and history of repression.

Unbearable
Life sometimes seems unbearable
No relief in site
No matter how you try to forget someone
They are always there inside of you
Stuck there in some corner
Hidden so there is nothing you can do
Just when you think you have forgtten
The thought of them begins anew
Bringing back unanswered questions
Was it the right thing did I do
Or should have I waited
To see what you were going to do
Then these questions that haunt me
Would be answers that is very true

Leave Me to Sit With Suspicions
Leave me to sit with suspicions.
Then say I do not trust.
Leave me to feel uncomfortable,
When questions I ask,
You care not to discuss.
Leave to understand,
I comprehend when I don't.
Take for granted I will do what you wish,
To do the opposite.
Knowing this I should do.
And what it is you wish,
I wont.
Leave me to sit with suspicions?
This you do as if okay.
Don't be surprised upon your return...
I request you to go away!

Why? When?, and How?
Day passes
Night sets in
Questions remain
Questions
Why? when?
And
How?
Rule the mind
Night darkens
Eyes close
Reopen
In the morning
Why? when?
And
How?
Reappear
Remain unanswered
Throughout the day
Only hope keeps
Life moving

Oh Universe
Oh universe
so many questions yet unanswered
so many roads yet to take,
but all no mistake.
i will travel through light and dark
to find the path i must embark
i manifest my dreams with the tools i have
i create my destiny for destiny's sake
for my eyes not seen it all
but my soul will know
what road to take and where to go
one door will open
yet another close
i will see beauty in a single rose
her colors will tell me how i will feel
and one day all the questions i have,
will be revealed.

Ten Story Love Song
When your heart is black and broken
And you need a helping hand
When you're so much in love
You don't know just how much you can stand
when your questions go unanswered
And the silence is killing you
Take my hand baby I'm your man
I got loving enough for two
Ten storey love song
I built this thing for you
Who can take you higher than twin peak mountain blue?
Oh well

I Should Be Mad
Here I am with my pen and paper
Trying to figure you out as if you're some kind of cypher
Unresponsive messages, ignored and unanswered phone calls (lost track of how many)
When you did, you gave me a silent answer
Yet you say I'm the only one that matter
Yeah you're right I'm only matter just there occupying space
"Picture of me and you what it was, what it is"
I am faded image that seems so out of place.
Unanswered phone calls ignored messages...
"What is this? " Love? Or revenge? or punishment?
You treat as if I'm a child…
And I just want to nurture you as if you were mine
I don't want to play a love game, play a love game
Do you want love or I should I accept that feelings between us aren't the same?
You are my bed of roses
Heaven only knows…this
All that you are isn't mere
And don't think for a second my feelings for you are insincere
I tried to be your Superhero but you were my "Kryptonite".
I still believe that you are my dark knight
Love makes my chest hurts I think I'm going to be sick
Give me your heart because yours will be a perfect fit
I should be mad at what you've put me through
But how can I when I wasn't given the opportunity to.

Always Asking Questions
We all want peace we dont want misery
So many of us wont let us be these things
But we only are confused
We feel stronger as we grow older
But still we feel bemused
Always asking questions
Were always asking questions
And the temptation is to just step back
Well we give what we lack
We will always be asking questions
Why rich?
Why poor?
Always asking questions
Were always asking questions
Why this?
Why that?
Were always asking questions
Why this?
Why that?
Always asking
Dont stop asking
Dont stop asking questions
Always asking questions
In answer to this question is just shut up
You dont know
I dont know
Nobody knows
This is an answer to every question
This is a place to begin
Always asking questions
Always asking questions
Why this?
Why that?
Why this?
Why that?
Always asking questions
(why this why that? )
Always asking questions
(why this why that? )
Always asking questions
(why this why that? )

Unanswered Prayers
Just the other night a hometown football game
My wife and I ran into my old high school flame
And as I introduced them the past came back to me
And I couldnt help but think of the way things used to be.
She was the one that Id wanted for all times
And each night Id spend prayin that God would make her mine
And if hed only grant me this wish I wished back then
Id never ask for anything again.
(chorus)
Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when youre talkin to the man upstairs
That just because he doesnt answer doesnt mean he dont care
Some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.
She wasnt quite the angel that I remembered in my dreams
And I could tell that time had changed me
Inn her eyes too it seemed
We tried to talk about the old days
There wasnt much we could recall
I guess the lord knows what hes doin after all.
And as she walked away and I looked at my wife
And then and there I thankedd the good lord
For the gifts in my life.
*chorus*
Some of gods greatest gifts are all too often unanswered...
Some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

To Feel The Nectar Of A Sweet Cherry Tree
My thoughts are projected to an ancestral space,
In my whole being is an unanswered questions torment,
And from this slough of a life without direction,
To feel the nectar of a sweet cherry tree,
Its all the peace this spring could ever give me.

The Prisoner
the afternoon
sun shines upon
a row of
iron bars
the temperature
has subsided
heads of unknown
men begin to
appear
like shadows of
mushrooms
upon the dark
mouths of caves
they are some
of the questions
still unanswered
by the
claim that there
is justice
in humanity.

Letting me go
Letting me go
You trembled
I hardly see you
Then and there
The questions I
Asked you
Remain unanswered.
I wanted to go
With you so far
And you were not
There to go
I'm not the person
To remain quite
And you levied on me
Different taxes
That I'm not ready
To pay and you
Say stay.
I went
And you could not
make me detained.

Peace Brother Peace
a gentle breeze blows ocean side
the easter lilies usher in the spring
and there you are with your guitar
won*t you play a song for me
cat sang about a peace train and
john imagined the world living
together in harmony but oh how now
world peace seems a far gone thing
there are so many questions
unanswered so it seems to me
while i remember days gone by
when we sang songs of love and peace

The Questions You Ask
the questions you ask
are subject to their suspicions
of who and what you are
the answers you give?
they simply
junk as an immaterial
irrelevant and impertinent
to what they already
believe in.
tell them: fine!

How Many Times Have You Asked Yourself
Finally...
You reach home.
Believing you are sheltered.
And will get deserving rest!
Then suddenly the phone rings.
To leave you wondering,
If the caller is someone you should address.
And with unanswered questions,
You unleash from your mind...
What should be done next!
You want to know...
How many times,
Have you...
Asked yourself,
How many times...
You've asked yourself,
How could you find...
Yourself in the middle of somebody else's mess!
How many times,
Have you...
Asked yourself,
How many times...
You've asked yourself,
How could you find...
Yourself in the middle of somebody else's mess!
When you have issues you have not yet to address.
How many times,
Have you...
Asked yourself,
How many times...
You've asked yourself,
How could you find...
Yourself in the middle of somebody else's mess!
Relax?
You can't!
A tension is enhanced.
The phone keeps ringing to erase the chance.
And...
How many times,
Have you...
Asked yourself,
How many times...
You've asked yourself,
How could you find...
Yourself in the middle of somebody else's mess!
When you have issues you have not yet to address.
And that somebody wants to disturb your rest.
And with unanswered questions,
You unleash from your mind...
What should be done next!
You want to know...
How many times,
Have you...
Asked yourself,
How many times...
You've asked yourself,
How could you find...
Yourself in the middle of somebody else's mess!
When you have issues you have not yet to address.
And that somebody wants to disturb your rest.
How many times,
Have you asked yourself...
How many times,
You've asked yourself....
How many times have you done this and did nothing else?
To be there to please somebody else...
And not yourself!

Razors Edge
Never callin, unanswered letters,
How you been, feelin better?
Never lookin, but youre hearin,
Never speakin, but youre feeling
All the silence, and its wounding,
Youre not healing, just concealing
Play the game, play the game
Chorus:
Oh brother to brother, all the blood runs red
Dont roll over, dont play dead
Were all livin on the razors edge
Oh brother to brother, all the blood runs ruby red
Were all victims of the razors edge
All the rules dont mean a thing,
Theyre wasting time,
The memries sting
Keep your image, plant that smile,
Answer questions, dont let on
Make up stories all put on,
Thats your life, oh,
Your life is gone
(chorus)
You see youre losing, yet you still try
The game just awatches your life go by
Youre playin well,
Youre playin - why?
Oh, play the game
You see youre losing, yet you still try
The game just awatches your life go by
Youre playin well,
Oh youre playin the game
(chorus)

Experience As It Exists
Between and betwixt,
Or just bothered...
By the complexity of it.
This life we live,
To experience as it exists...
As a blessing given to gift.
And the 'why' asked from heard lips,
Has more questions to add...
Going unanswered to satisfy,
Those of hungry curiosities.
To perplex even more,
A mind seeking to respond.

Thoughts Of You
Sitting on the brow of the hill
looking at the city below
with its lights shining,
jewels upon a crown.
I sit and think
of the pinnacles I have reached
and my thoughts always pull me back
into thoughts of you.
You were the crowning glory
no jewels or money could buy.
The pinnacle I reached
that was so close to heaven
that it only seemed an arms length away.
Life was so good to me
until that fateful day
you said you were going out,
but never came back again.
Now I am only left with
thoughts that linger on,
questions lay unanswered
of where you have gone.
There is no warmth here anymore,
only in thoughts of you.
You inherit everything I see
and I ask the same questions
repeatedly every night
where are you
and when are you coming home.
Am I only to live my life
forever in thoughts of you?
