Such Activities
One day they are going to need,
Updated and refreshened explanations.
With a new set of excuses,
For their misguided deeds.
No one can repeatedly shot themself in the foot,
To hop around in self inflicted sorrow...
And blame others for criticizing their efforts.
Or not showing them support for consistently being,
Redundantly incompetent.
Although STUPID would be an appropriate word to use.
Loyalty begins to wear thin,
When those who follow such activities...
Are made to appear to be the bigger fools.
With the excusing of blatant ignorance,
As an element of routine.

Unexpected Is The Satisfaction That Comes
Savor a limelight achieved,
When and if these rays upon your deeds...
Should happen.
Nothing accomplished before the eyes of others,
Stay in their minds as a memory...
Longer than it does in yours.
Be grateful your activities have been acknowledged.
And when the spotlight begins to dim on your efforts,
Be the first to encourage others...
To do what it is that is loved.
Unexpected is the satisfaction that comes,
When others begin to show their appreciation...
For what your devotion, loyalty and efforts have done.

Updated and Refreshened Eulogies
What are they there,
Waiting for?
Updated and refreshened eulogies?
Those dead horses beatened,
Have turned into dust!
Although times have changed...
Their complaints have dusted.
And the staleness of trust...
Has long ago rusted!
What had been admired,
Has expired into visible jealousies.
They can not honestly believe,
What has been done religiously...
Can be revived and retrieved.
They can not believe that?
They can't!
Do they?
What are they there,
Waiting for?
Updated and refreshened eulogies?
When those made initially,
Had been carved into valued stone.
Supporting the approval,
Of those with cold shoulders.
Convinced they can survive on their own.
Why can't they move on?
And leave well enough alone!
Knowing those bonds,
That could have been mended...
Are absent of emotion.
Or anything that identifies,
A relationship to devotion.
Or even souls connected...
To mummified bones!
But the groaning of complaints,
Continue to droan with their moans.
What are they there,
Waiting for?
Updated and refreshened eulogies?
For opportunities to vent,
Why their time has been spent...
Arguing with one another,
Over what for them makes sense?
And who among them qualifies,
To adjust to new movements!
Done before no one is left,
And, hopefully, before...
All have died!

An Absent Guardian to Be Forgotten
Eventually,
Excuses made and told...
Become as dangerous as an infectious disease.
Explanations heard that occur are incurable.
And those accustomed to inflicting them,
Are contagious carriers.
For them there are no boundaries.
Or areas that are blockaded with barriers.
From lips of those who are leaders elected,
To those self righteous and elevated to heights of piousness...
Twisted are the mouths of those secretly discreet and sneaky.
And yet...
Like criminals who are subjected to the support of the weak,
They are granted a wholesome forgiveness.
Like relatives who aid and defend the actions of their imprisoned kin.
Even though...
Crimes and sins against humanity are committed.
Submitting to an integrity that has honesty with appeal,
Is as foreign as the observation of it.
Rare in sight and in action.
Delusion, deceit and the telling of blatant lies...
Have been given tremendous loyalty.
And this loyalty has distanced truth...
To become an absent guardian to be forgotten in the pursuit,
Of being held accountable for those values that have plunged...
Into an abyss!

Meltdown
And as we witness this meltdown...
A nagging blame game begins.
Like spoiled children arguing in a playground...
They jeopardize lives without end.
Incompetent loyalists of aged documents...
Those who observe shut their eyes.
But the many who can't buffer this 'noise' they hear,
Are trapped in a hole that's deepening in size!
These fools are now believed...
And the consequences no one can leave!
'Would you like an olive in your blood cocktail? '
We are sipping this heated shhhhh...mess,
In little drips!
And the excuses come to solve this are in tattered bits!
'Would you care for more madness in silk or satin underwear?
Someone is addressing this by taking orders over there!
We must have this meltdown with more flair.
Don't you agree?
That's the way it's going to be...
Unfortunately that's their policy! '

People Do Make Mistakes
Sometimes people do make mistakes.
I've made some.
And who has not made a few?
But not knowingly at the expense of others.
And those who excuse these activities done,
As errors made unconsciously...
With proclamations for a wish to be forgiven,
Need to know how it feels to receive payback.
Directed and unmistakable.
And inflicted with the ease in which they were made.
With a consciousness applied and lessons taught.
To awaken anyone daring to use these excuses in the future.

Impressions Made
If you can not be 'on' time,
Be earlier or don't show.
Having a reputation,
Of consistently being late...
Is an expression of disrespect,
That is not acceptable.
And...
Those thoughtless Impressions made,
Can stay embedded and irreplaceable.
Especially those repeated...
That step on respectful toes.
And no one should consciously wish,
To be in this position.
Or make efforts to wear a title,
That bears the word 'Careless'.

Out of the Crevices of Darkness
When a long standing joke,
Has lost its 'funny'.
And lies told are found to be untrue.
What then do those who laugh and lie,
Eventually pursue?
Some try to hide their saddened faces.
Something about liars change too.
Many try to escape from their 'efforts' made.
And those whose lives had been attempted to be ruined,
By those of these misguided deeds.
Seem to appear freer to be happy.
Knowing the seeds planted by deceivers...
Has exposed more fools than can be believed.
'They are all over the place!
From where did they come? '
When the light starts to shine...
Anything can be seen,
Coming out of the crevices of darkness.

A Thin Threading Done
Desperate measures taken,
To improve what one has neglected...
Only reflects upon one's incompetence,
One has refused to accept...
In the strictest of a private confidence.
And a downward spiral,
That begins to gather steam...
Makes the blaming and excuses done,
Show one who lacks in self esteem.
Yet if nothing at all is done,
Chaos and confusion is then welcomed.
And when a fabric once tightened,
Appearing as one cohesive scene...
Begins to unravel,
To expose a thin threading done of its seams...
Divisions created can not replace,
A complete and total reconfiguration...
Of what took years to admire,
But updated to appear as a second rated fake.

In the Spirit of Rumi-17
I said to My Beloved
Who is dearest to You, O My Beloved –
those who seek to know You
or those who seek to love You?
My Beloved said
Those who seek to know Me
must first know themself;
look deep into themselves
to know that which is not themself,
to discard that which is not themself;
then when they have found themself
so deep within themself
they shall find Me there
Those who seek to love Me
must first love themself;
look deep with love into themselves
and discard that which they love but
which is not themself;
then when they have found themself
so deep within themself
they shall find Me there
and those who truly know themself
shall love themself and Me,
shall love Me in themself;
and those who truly love themself
shall know themself and Me,
shall know Me in themself;
two paths lead all to Me:
some love knowledge,
some know love,
the treasure lies
where these paths meet
in Me

Blinded On These Misguided Missions
Some people who use the same reliable tactics,
To undermine the efforts done and made by others...
With a masking of their insecurities,
To gain an attention as their main priority...
Seem never embarrassed,
To use the accomplishments of others,
To enhance their own deeds.
Or...
Does this activity keeps them away,
From making claims of doing things to validate...
Yet difficult they find it to prove they have an expertise...
Over a period that establishes a mandate.
But quick they are to seek discrepencies,
In the proof others show publicly...
With accountability.
And...
With a getting of a doing done to have critiqued.
Although excuses and alibis made and heard...
By folks like these deep in their jealousies,
Who seek to assassinate reputations...
Is a characteristic that is guaranteed,
To produce a by-product of negativity...
Consciously achieved effectlively,
By those blinded on these misguided missions.

Out Of Routine
Out of routine, the explanations you have
You're still loathe to give them
All because you've phrased it in a way
So the explanations you have
The words don't go away
If your heart gets in the way of what you wanted
To deny everything I say is not uncommon
The only thing that's definitely forgotten
Is what you wanted
And what you really needed
But I can only try to know what I wanted
I will only try to know what I want
If I can only try to know what I wanted
How can it be gone
Out of routine but it's not as bad as you think
It's only chance you're looking for
Still in routine and the explanations you have
The ideas go between
If your heart gets in the way of what you wanted
If you reply to everything I say so it's not uncommon
The only thing that's definitely forgotten
Is what you wanted
And what you really needed
But I can only try to know what I wanted
I will only try to know what I want
If I can only try to know what I wanted
How can it be gone
And it's already gone and nothing can take it back
It's already gone and nothing can take it from being gone

I was stupid
Showing my heart
The real …
Anger for love
Concern for care
Now I conceal
Sorrow and pain
Always smiling
Dry and fake
My face
Disconnected
From my heart
As it
Suffered
With burns
And inflicted
With germs
Of intelligence.

Anger and Angst
How can the world be such a stupid place?
Why do people move at a snail's pace?
Nobody ever seems to follow the rules.
Obviously they're nothing but ignorant fools.
I produce great results yet what do I see…
Nothing but weak people criticizing me.
It's amazing and even kind of funny,
I don't see my naysayers bringing in big money.
I've got reason to be angry and frustrated.
When those losers take pride as I'm berated.
Sometimes anger is so intense I can hardly see.
I wonder if at times it starts deep inside of me.

Vituperative And Harshly Censorious
You tell others and say,
You are not impressed...
By those daily efforts of mine made.
And I say...
Where are your efforts to address?
Since you are quick to express your displeasure.
And then you wish to measure,
And evaluate time.
You want to vocalize how yours,
Is more important than mine.
You want to expose your excuses,
To reduce critique.
You want others to perceive,
Your opinions are sought.
As if this 'deed' is impressive enough to leave.
You tell others and say,
You are not impressed...
By those daily efforts of mine made.
But I am sure they've come to realize,
There is insecurity hidden,
Underneath your weak tirades tired and tried.
Expressed with intemperate, vituperative...
And harshly censorious language!
'Huh?
What did you call me?
What did you just say?
Did you call me 'stupid'? '
No!
Those affirmations I leave to you.
'Oh.
I'm glad you do.
Because those 'imaginations'...
Which they are not.
But if they were...
Would belong to me! '
Yep!
I totally agree.

The good father
This is the one who can not eat if his children do not eat
This is the who wear unexpensive clothes while his children wear expensive ones
This the one who sacrifice his problems for his children
This is the one who works every day for his children
This the one who can sleep outside the house while his children are inside
Are the children showing the appreciation to his efforts?
Are the children showing sense of appreciation about his love to them?
They show appreciation by writing poems for him
They show love by consoling him when he is in trouble
A good father should be innocent
A good father should act as a head of the family
A good father should give support to the family
The location known as Silityiwa has got such father
This father is known as Sonwabisile Lateta and he is “my” father

Could I Be Incompetent?
Could I be incompetent?
No.
But I will admit,
I can be stupid, ignorant and foolish...
When making incorrect decisions.
With a hopeful learning from them,
If I take the time to comprehend what I've done.
But incompetent?
No.
No, I am not.
And I am sure if I had been,
Someone who's opinion I accept...
And has shown to me their admiration,
Would have already brought that to my attention.

To Be Seen As Bigger Fools Viewed
For some,
Being honest is a choice they make.
Like an avoidance to come face to face,
With truth.
And when they then see,
There is no escape...
Beating around bushes,
With the use of creative excuses...
Becomes easier for them to do,
With the proving of themselves...
To be seen as bigger fools viewed.
And doing this to exaggerate,
The playing of their charades.
To further embellish,
Deceptions made!

Stupid
Honestly, I like the word
Stupid,
I like you calling me
Stupid
In all the stupid things
That you think
I do
Which I think are
Stupid too,
Stupid!
Stupid makes me feel
That I am
Non-stupid
That I am nobody
That I am not
Like you calling me
Stupid
That I am not like you
That I am not
Alone
That I have no reason
To be sad
That confusion is not
A disease
That we all belong to one
Beautiful world
Stupid!
That is enough
Heaven for me.

Well it's getting colder and you're getting distant
and I just keep thinkin
that I never meant it to be like this (to be like this)
You know what comes next (so do I)
Youre begging for a way to gracefully bow out
and say goodnight
It's worse than you think
On your way home, you should have known
you never listen to me
Im only complaining to keep myself busy, sweetie
Im only complaining to keep myself busy, sweetie
I cant say I blame you
but I wish that I could
Im sick of writing every song about you
So keep me updated, call back in a week, to check up on me
So keep me updated, call back in a week, to check up on me
So keep me updated, call back in a week, to check up on me
So keep me updated, call back in a week, to check up on me
So keep me updated, call back in a week, to check up on me
So keep me updated, call back in a week, to check up on me
