Something Loose Needs Tightening
Either way one looks at it,
An implemention of chaos and disaster...
Warned about upon its initiation,
And by an ego ignored...
Could have been avoided.
But it wasn't.
And now those disappointed by the outcome,
Of their inabilities to listen and learn...
Are getting their lessons taught.
But still they do not comprehend,
Those observing them...
Have already determined,
Something loose needs tightening in their heads.
They perceive the world to be round,
And theirs!

Remember The Messengers
A sliding into despair can be avoided,
If one dares not to accept it.
And embrace these lessons taught.
A losing of material things,
Can be quite upsetting
When an obsession to obtain 'things',
Gets in the way of what living life means.
And that is the greatest asset
Life!
One has been given.
And many question their deserving of it.
By a showing of selfishness that has created conflict.
A sliding into despair can be avoided,
If one dares not to accept it.
And embrace these lessons taught.
~When a dooming of others is done to be welcomed...
A dooming is done to those doing their doom!
What goes around comes around.
Sometimes unregocnized.
But a doing gets done to do! ~
A sudden severing from what one possesses,
Should prove to one 'then'...
There is no control,
By those who worship and hold onto things.
With a squeezing to keep,
Tightly held in shaking hands.
When a strong wind blows and lightening strikes,
People run for cover.
With no ammunition to fight against this!
When a strong wind blows and lightening strikes,
People run for cover and discover...
Something far greater is in the midst and mixed,
To blend those divisions or get rid of all of it!
And yet there are many who perceive,
Themselves to be greater than The Almighty.
Or 'That' which is in true control.
And knows our every move made
Whether young or old,
It knows.
We are the 'creations' NOT 'thee' Creator.
A sliding into despair can be avoided,
If one dares not to accept it.
And embrace these lessons taught.
And every one of them can be observed.
Even though there will be those who make claims,
They maintain their faith and remain religiously connected.
But the losing of 'things' leaves nothing left for them to impress.
And this traumatic occurrence,
Becomes difficult to comprehend.
A world they ensured stayed isolated
Suddenly around them begins to cave in!
Especially for those who believe themselves to be chosen.
With a wondering 'why' a devastation has come to visit with them.
'I've lost 'EVERYTHING'!
Why weren't we warned about these pending tragedies? '
~Remember the messengers with those messages delivered?
And you believed them to be at your disposal,
For purposes to personally entertain.
How vain.~

Man Said No!
I wanted to build myself a boat
Everyone said that it wouldn't float
As carpentry and boating I do not know
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to plant myself a flower
I was told I couldn't without knowledge or a power
I wasn't a gardener so plants I did not grow
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to learn myself how to fly
But I was told if I did I would die
In the air to the ground I would crash below
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to cook and to become a chef
But I was told that I wasn't mature enough
If I lit a match I would cause and inferno
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to learn to play and to enjoy music
But I wasn't allowed to listen to it
I wasn't taught to sing or to play the piano
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to learn how to ski
But to my idea everyone did disagree
Everyone knew I loved the cold and the snow
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to live my life the way I should
Do what I believed and understand what I could
To my want's and idea's to all I did confess
So man he said no; but GOD he said yes.

Fall Apart
Inside a storage bin
A pad-lock keeps me in
Emotions run low
If you've come for a show
I'm from the world today
Insane as some might say
Got nothing to show
If you've come just to send me away
I wasn't asking for it
And I tried to ignore it
I've got one problem
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
I'm safe 'cause no one sees
What has become of me
Emotions run low
As my sickness just grows
They try to hold me down
When you cannot be found
Got nothing to show
If you've come just to turn off the sound
I wasn't asking for it
And I tried to ignore it
I've got one problem
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
Well I fall asleep tonight
Don't wanna lose the fight
And I wanna get it right
This time it's not for you
Well I fall asleep tonight
Don't wanna lose the fight
And I wanna get it right
This time it's just for me
Every time I hurt myself for you
It's always hit and miss to feel the mood
But the more I do for you
The less I can do for myself
And it's not so bad to be alone
When I know nothing is set in stone
But I've got one problem
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
I fall apart for you
(I'm further from the truth)
A living disaster, I die for my master
It's true (I'm stuck and can't get loose)
Another example of losing my handle on you
My handle on you....

Mask Of Fear
They say that fear is dreadful.
They say that fear destroys us.
They say that fear induces only pain.
They say that fear is horrifying.
These are what they say,
But I tell you,
All these are just the outer mask of fear.
A society is disciplined. Why?
‘cause we fear the law.
A child listens to his elders.
‘cause he fears them.
You listen to your loved ones.
But of course,
People would disagree that fear is responsible for it.
They say it’s the power of love,
They say it’s coz of our love for them.
But think!
Why should we listen to our loved ones?
Is it just coz we love them?
No. I say no,
Coz again it is out of fear that you do it,
But fear for what?
You fear that you’d make your love unhappy,
You fear that you’d lose your love.
Fear prevents chaos is a society,
If it wasn’t for our fear for the law,
Our lives would’ve been in chaos
So open your eyes,
Perceive the term fear with care,
Coz many of you’ve failed to see what is behind the mask of fear.
A mask, if taken away,
Shows that fear is a guide towards discipline and justice.

My goal was to play drums, but my father made me take piano lessons. He told me I needed to learn to read music first, so I took lessons for six years. I thank God that he made me take those lessons, because it taught me a tremendous amount.

Back and Forth...Back and Forth!
Once it is determined,
A person has a 'special' rendition of life?
You know...
Someone 'we' may believe has a party going on...
In their heads.
And it is a private party?
It is sometimes better,
To pretend we hear the melody.
Especially if a desire is shown,
To communicate with us.
From wherever they may be 'inside'.
With all of the activity no one can hear outside.
But suspects 'something inside' occupies!
Although nothing may OR may not be there at all.
And we wish not to take chances and offend?
So we begin to keep our lips closed and nod our heads.
Hoping, eventually, a toleration overcomes us.
We begin to pat our feet.
And shake our heads slowly from side to side.
With eyes fixed we do this...
Wanting not to be noticed.
Slowly we begin...
Back and forth...back and forth.
Our heads we shake!
Observing and attempting to communicate.
Back and forth...back and forth
Our heads we shake!
Observing and attempting to communicate.
Keeping up with this sustained movement.
Patting our feet and biting on a lower lip.
Agreeing...
But not understanding,
What it is we agree with.
And we ask ourselves,
'Why am I putting myself through this? '
Back and forth...back and forth,
Our heads we shake!
Observing and attempting to communicate.
Keeping up with a sustained beat.
Patting our feet and biting on a lower lip.
And we ask ourselves,
'Why am I putting myself through this? '
And miraculously,
As if that Excedrin headache suddenly goes...
We find our minds in an accepted peace.
Numbed!
Yet peaceful.
And so proud we are,
We have kept our patience!

In a Child's Voice
Listen to the voice of a child
You will hear the wisdom of the ages
A book ready to be written
Filled with many unwritten pages
Learn from their innocence
Honestly brutal but real
For they haven’t yet been tarnished
telling you exactly how they feel
So simple yet so wise they speak
feelings never compromised
For whatever words they speak to you
You should not be surprised
Listen to the voice of a child
You can always feel their pain
They will always bring you sunshine
When the world is filled with rain
Their laughter is the music
That comes straight from the heart
So learn to sing their praises
Rejoice in every part
Never let that child within
Escape or get away
For every child is a part of us
Each and every day
Listen to the voice of a child
Hear each and every word
For every question asked of you
From sublime to the absurd
There are many lessons to be taught
And dreams to be realized
We learn from each other every day
Yet we always act surprised
If we listen a little bit closer
You will hear that inner child
A lifetime of knowledge
Mostly tame but occasionally wild
In a world that’s constantly changing
You can always find a choice
In the wisdom of our childhood
You will truly find your voice

World Spinnin' Round
(pilson, hendrix)
Lately i don't hesitate to tell you how i feel
See, good times come, good time go
Gotta hold on to what is real
Everything is changing
But that's alright
Gotta take what comes like a roll on the dice
You know that it ain't easy
Live and learn one day at a time
Because..
Feels like my world is spinnin' round
Every day it changes
Feels like my whole world is spinnin' round
Round and round, round and round
Feels like my world is spinnin' round and round
Maybe i'm just looking for a way to ease my mind
Keep on searching for what it takes
Well, the lord knows what i will find
You know it ain't easy
Live and learn one day at a time
Because..
Feels like my world is spinnin' round
Every day it changes
Feels like my whole world is spinnin' round
Round and round, round and round
Feels like my world is spinnin' round
Every day it changes
Feels like my whole world is spinnin' round and round
And round
Spinnin' round
Spinnin' round
Feels like my world is spinnin' round
Every day it changes
Feels like my whole world is spinnin' round
Round and round, round and round
Feels like my world is spinnin' round
Every day it changes
Feels like my whole world is spinnin' round
Spinnin' round
You know it ain't easy
To live and learn one day at a time
You know it ain't east
To live and learn one day at a time

Kid Gloves
A world of difference
A world so out of touch
Overwhelmed by everything
But wanting more so much
Call it blind frustration
Call it blind mans bluff
Call each other names
Your voices rude,
Your voices rough
Then you learn the lesson
That its cool to be so tough
Handle with kid gloves
Handle with kid gloves
Then you learn the lessons
Taught in school wont be enough
Put on your kid gloves
Put on your kid gloves
Then you learn the lesson
That its cool to be so tough
A world of indifference
Heads and hearts too full
Careless of the consequence
Of constant push and pull
Anger got bare knuckles
Anger play the fool
Anger wear a crown of thorns
Reverse the golden rule
Then you learn the lesson
That its tough to be so cool
Handle with kid gloves
Handle with kid gloves
Then you learn the weapons
And the ways of hard-knock school
Put on your kid gloves
Put on your kid gloves
Then you learn the lesson
That its tough to be so cool

Some Impatiently Must Review Lessons
We are human.
And everyone with a taste of experience,
Wishes to have the last word.
And those who seek it,
Get it.
With a lesson for them...
Questioned whether or not,
One has been learned.
Those wanting to comprehend,
Choose to listen.
With understanding as the condition.
Acknowledging a wisdom has been achieved.
Leaving those who get their last word,
Hearing what 'they' say...
And nothing else is perceived.
Some impatiently must review lessons...
Mistakenly thought taught.

A Biblical Learning Bug
What you may ask
are my most treasured
valuable possessions?
Obtained authenticated
after an astute search
lifetime as keen collector.
Almost everything I possess
of true exceptional value was found
in proven morality contained
within passage lessons in the Bible.
Judgement was eventually affirmed
with experience own tested belief
supplemented with wide research
knowledge my own keen sustained
education instigated driven insight
to perceive to understand to know.
Motivation I know I know so little
I therefore watch listen time learn
incentive knowing that I know little
upon each unique occasion I listen.
I listen quietly and learn each
individual life lesson anew
in this way I am open to truth
other perceptions of reality
wisdom change where I may
honour gift creation each day.

I Dream of a Perfect School
I dream of much,
For my child,
They should be trained,
And not run wild.
They should learn French,
And Arabic too,
They should learn English,
It’s long overdue.
They should learn karate,
And self-defense,
Gymnastics, Soccer,
Not sit on a bench.
They should learn Art,
To sing and perform,
They should learn drama,
For this is the norm.
They should be taught,
A hobby or two,
Cooking, sewing,
Or how to cure flu.
They should learn Science,
An –ology or two,
Geology, Radiology,
Yes, any will do.
They should be taught,
All this and much more,
They should not simply,
Stare at the floor.
When asked the square root,
Of four sixty three,
Their heads should be high,
At the ripe age of three.
Rocket Science,
Math and Astronomy,
The state of the world,
It’s economy.
And, by SK,
They should know all this,
If it’s not done,
Something is amiss.
After all, am I,
Not doing my part?
I’m sending them daily,
Surely that’s a good start?
I dream of so much,
For my little one,
Now Principal, can you tell me,
When will it be done?

A Scratching Done Under The Surface
It is foolish for anyone to perceive,
And believe...
They can approach others,
With the notion they can teach lessons...
Without knowing the experience,
Or a past history just by observing one's 'cover'.
A scratching done under the surface.
Or at least some knowledge of what one knows,
Will save another from embarrassment.
And a cold shoulder one unintentionally...
Shows without a doubt,
Can and will be exposed

Lessons Of Love
(s. garrett/g. ballard)
See the children play
Listen to the things they say
One-on-one to one another
Theyre just having fun
Finding out it can be done
They dont seperate by cover
Ooh, young hearts
Facing to feel it so naturally
And the flower grows from the seed and
Chorus:
Practice makes perfect and we tryin enough
And were bound to be learning
The lessons of love
Coz were never too old and never too young
To be teaching each other the lessons of love
Got some work to do
Theres so much we can improve
Piece by piece we come together, yeah
In the neighborhood
I know we can make it good
But weve got to make it better
Oh woh oh, inside each of us has a romelody
But weve got to find our harmony
Practice makes perfect and we tryin rnough
And weve got to remember
The lessons of love
Coz were never too old and never too young
To be teaching each other the lessons of love
Bridge:
Imagine how this world could be
If all of us would live in peace
Nothing good comes easily
Together starts with you and me
Yeah, oh yeah, aha
Lessons of love
Practice makes perfect and we tryin enough
And were bound to be learning
The lessons of love
Coz were never too old and never too young
To be teaching each other
Practice makes perfect and we tryin enough
And weve got to remember
The lessons of love
Coz were never too old and never too young
To be teaching each other the lessons of love
Practice makes perfect, try it enough
(oh, never too young, aha)
And weve got to be learning
The lessons of love (lessons of love)
And were never too old and never too young
(to learn the lessons of love)
To be teaching each other
The lessons of love
Oh, never too old, to learn the lessons of love
Oh yeah, lessons of love

Perception
Trust and faith
in what I believe
comes to me
through all I perceive.
If I perceive myself
as free,
then that is what
I always will be.
If I perceive
that everything's fine,
then my perception
is a grand design
that takes me above
the chaos and fear.
It becomes nothing
to which I adhere.
If I perceive
that I'm in control,
then my perception is
a midnight's stroll
that leads me to find
great peace within.
It completes the perception
my vision lets in.

Relying on Faith
Let faith be your guide.
Many times, I’ve relied on faith
To get through the hour.
I wasn’t disappointed.
Many times, I’ve relied on faith
To get through the day.
I wasn’t disappointed.
Many times, I’ve relied on faith
To get through the year.
I wasn’t disappointed.
Take a chance.
Trust your faith,
Have 'faith' in faith,
And it will work for you.

God's White Light.
God's beautiful white light comes down on me,
Guarding from all gossip, reminding that I am always in Thee.
I am always guided for the right things to do,
That my soul knows clearly how to walk in whose shoe.
No evil can touch me from that shining white light
My lessons in life come with ease and my brain is bright
To pick up God's right wishes to follow,
Learn and teach my world to progress and not to stay hollow.
Show me my God clearly the lessons I have to learn,
That I can overcome them all with ease & everlasting life I could earn
Help me to keep that beautiful white light,
That who ever wants to destroy me would loose their right.

Lessons Taught to Learn
What is taught,
Is believed.
From birth
When received.
And when convinced,
With an affliction
That limits and restricts,
Of course
What is taught,
Will be perceived
As the existence.
To defend without question.
And not resist.
Many lessons taught to learn,
And meant to stay and stick.
To be remembered.
Never to forget.
Like adding to substract,
Our likes from dislikes to divide.

Before abstraction everything is one, but one like chaos; after abstraction everything is united again, but this union is a free binding of autonomous, self-determined beings. Out of a mob a society has developed, chaos has been transformed into a manifold world.
