Shown On Faces Of Regret
To champion another's success,
Is an investment made...
That guarantees the spreading,
Of a happiness everyone gets.
And this is a lesson,
Expressed by an economic mess...
Even those who chose to separate themselves,
Learn too late...
As shown on faces of regret!

A Lesson Learned Along The Way
love vs happiness
they aren't the same
but its not one or the other
there is an order to things
ive loved and let that be my only source of happiness
held on to that rope so long my hands are just calluses
love cant be everything
it will be the end of you
first you must be happy alone
in the life God has given you
This is the hardest lesson
I have had to learn
'All in'..a poor investment
Heartbreak..the love fool's return
Your love is not your life
that is a young man's game
love vs. happiness
they arent the same
Pick Up The Pieces of The Mess That's Made
Pick up the pieces of the mess that's made.
Make sure no remnants get,
To be left kept as toxins.
Pick up the pieces of the mess that's made.
And don't have one regret,
This challenge you have met!
Pick up the pieces of the mess that's made.
Make sure no remnants get,
To be left kept as toxins.
Pick up the pieces of the mess that's made.
And don't have one regret,
You've met the challenge that's been swept.
Don't let this creep into your sleep.
As if a daydreamed lover,
Is a desire you wish to meet.
Get up and beat this need fatiguing.
If you want a peace of mind...
Don't become weakened by routines,
You know should be left behind.
No need to keep this stored and neat,
As if this is sublime.
Make sure no remnants get,
To be left kept as toxins.
Make sure no remnants get,
To be left kept as toxins.
Pick up the pieces of the mess that's made.
And don't have one regret,
This challenge you have met!

Knowing I Can Not Accept Less
When I approached...
I could not keep,
My sincerety from reeking.
I sought to seek your closeness.
Concerns I expressed,
With a heartfelt depthness.
Yet,
This became a sign for you...
To undo my goodwill.
And attempts to bring you joy.
I came to offer myself.
Hoping for a future,
The two of us could build together.
But you chose to see this,
From a limited perspective.
And from that mindset,
I have elected to disconnect.
If you are prepared,
To disrespect a sharing of my happiness...
What from you would come next?
Shallow comments made...
About whose life lived is best?
After taking the time to neglect my own steps,
Why should I linger in regret...
Knowing I can not accept less,
Than what is expected from you!
More abuse to confuse the issue?
I think not!
And in review of what has been done.
Giving in a way to you I pursued...
That has been thorough and thoughtlessly crude.
With a mindlessness shown to shun?
Why should I wish,
For a mending of this distance?
Needing not for me to miss.

A Father's Lament
I was never one for my kids to look up to
That's a stone cold fact that I'll always regret
I was never the best dad, for them to hold on to
I was there and I provided, I cared…and yet
I didn't give enough love, I wasn't tender enough
I was too much a disciplinarian, too quick to berate
I wanted to teach them to be righteous and tough
I realize my mistake, now that it's much… much too late
Too late to do the proper things…,
to say the words I wished I'd said
Too late to cherish them over, and above all other things
Too late to tuck them snugly in bed
To hold them tightly, to kiss them goodnight
Too late to see the happiness on their faces
Too late for me to set things right…
Too late to tie their tiny shoelaces
Too late to savor them clinging tightly to me
In fright at the monsters on 'Lost In Space'
Too late to wonder at their amazing resilience
As I looked down upon their angelic sleeping faces
They are blessed with selective memories that…
Remember only the good and not the bad
Thank God for the knowing that they remember me kindly
But no matter their memories…I'll always feel sad
For I look at old photos of them
And my old heart slowly breaks
At all the things I should have done back then
And of all my past mistakes
Now it's too late to tell them Of Fairies and moonbeams…
and sparkling stardust and of Angel wings
I was never one for my kids to look up to…
I can only grow old and… never forget
That I never did enough of these fatherly things
And I'll forever be one to look back and regret

Soul Mistake
Promises are carved out of lust
With a fire in the heart
That burns with no regret
I vow to play the part
In this a meeting of the soul
My feelings are unknown
I learn with no regret
Im getting what I get
Feel some pain though Im miles away
And ring to let you know
Are you seeing someone
Id better let you go
She said this was a lesson in love
She said this was a love to end all loves
This soul never listens to me
This soul has a lot to learn
Honesty eludes one and all
Like some gypsys search for gold
Hes dreaming all the time
But the gold is hard to find
Made a mistake with myself
My lover couldnt lie
She told me of the things
That made her cry inside
Having the dreams of some gypsy

Thrilled To Be So Blessed
She only expressed interest,
In her own progress.
Even though married...
In a one-sided partnership,
Often beset with obstacles to test.
She could not accept,
Her husband's wish for economic success.
Instead,
She took it upon herself with friends...
To belittle his independence,
With a disrespect she sought to get.
She became quite successful.
And he did too.
Although he did not receive,
The support she knew.
And after years of reflection,
He has no regrets.
With hopes she has found happiness...
Since he is awakened with identity.
And thrilled to be so blessed.

It's Never Late
It’s never late to dream,
to find in life a gleam,
to break a thread of insult
and hope for a good result.
It’s never late to forgive,
in happiness to believe,
to kill the seed of sadness
for better life and gladness.
It’s never late to return,
a new lesson to learn,
to fall in love again
and dance under the rain.
It’s never late to live,
a new aim to achieve,
a new life to begin
and always try to win.
It’s only late at night
when with a sleep you can’t fight.

Today I Care
At one time I cared less,
About your thoughts.
And how they were expressed.
I was too busy collecting 'things'
Believing they would bring me a happiness.
At one time I perceived,
My needs were different than yours.
I thought of life as a contest...
And doing whatever I could to win,
Regardless of any suffering you did...
Behind 'your' closed doors.
That was a problem 'you' had,
I chose to ignore.
At one time I thought myself better than most,
If I had a college degree.
Afterall, so many didn't!
And I was getting 'mine'...
With very-little-sleep,
Indeed.
Any sacrifice committed I did,
Was done then for selfish reasons.
There was something I wanted to prove.
And selecting those I wished to please.
That is what I then did do!
I had corrupted thoughts.
Brought about by ego.
I had corrupted thoughts.
That would glorify my name.
And I was not above shame!
I had corrupted thoughts.
Not criminal but close.
I had corrupted thoughts I chose...
To drive a nice car and wear fine clothes.
Petty I know.
But I needed then to boast!
At one time I cared less,
About your thoughts.
And how they were expressed.
I was too busy collecting 'things'
Believing they would bring me a happiness.
At one time I perceived,
My needs were different than yours.
I thought of life as a contest...
And doing whatever I could to win,
Regardless of any suffering you did...
Behind 'your' closed doors.
But today I care about you more than ever.
Feeling us connected...
In a 'together' seperateness.
Today I care about you more than ever.
Both of us have been blessed,
Not to live it to impress.
But to be grateful for life as it is!
And that should be expressed.
To leave God to do the rest,
At His best!
At one time I cared less,
About your thoughts.
Your needs and your feelings.
Until I awakened to realize...
They were my own!
And 'that' God has shown.

Always A Champion
I was born into a whole wide world
With feeble limbs and simple mind
At entrance, I could feel the heat
Suggesting another world different from where I was
Opening my eyes, I could see the faces of warriors
With hands to battle though with smiling faces
I could feel a great burden on me
I knew it was time to face my destiny
It kept ringing on my mind you are a champion, born to win
With my guardians, I began to learn
Took a step, one after the other
When I fell, I rose to walk, limp or do both
Muttered what I have to say hoping to communicate
I began to advance in height and knowledge
With great sensitivity to my environment
I felt love and hatred, brutality and friendship
I heard lies and deception, sincerity and truth
I saw light and darkness, day and night
I learnt the right from wrong but found it difficult to do the right
Because the system was stuffed with evil
Since the nature could not accommodate vacuum
I chose the right because I knew my destiny
I chose to profess the truth despite the challenges faced
The opposition was great that I had to remind myself of my destiny
Born to war, destiny to conquer and win
Always a champion stamped from above

Haunted By Their Memory
Why with all the faces that we knew,
does a few seem to fill our thoughts
and haunt us sometimes for days.
The problem with these faces
they are of friends who faded away
and will not be seen again.
Is this our memory telling us
we should have been closer then
and not let their friendship drift away?
That we should have kept in touch more.
Spoke more on the telephone,
and wrote a letter or two,
maybe even visited from time to time.
Now we are haunted by their faces
for things we should have done, but never did.
Is this our punishment for not making the time
to keep in touch with them
that their faces haunt us.
Punishing us on a daily basis
knowing its too late now,
as they are no longer with us.
Could it be they are there as a lesson to learn?
That when something rare comes into our lives
we should embrace it strongly and not turn it away
for it will never come back.
Once it has gone from us
all we will be left with is faces
and haunted by their memory.

Civil Unrest
The next steps...
Will it be civil unrest?
As the reality of their ancestry...
Brings out the beast in them.
And at its evil best!
As history repeats...
How empires are defeated!
For centuries they chose to feed on lies.
Using the threat of enemies,
As an excuse to express an inferiority...
That kept them in chaos,
Tantrums and childish fits!
And around the world,
Despised by the growth of it!
Criticizing their tactics,
Now are their allies...
Who have grown tired of their tricks.
And those who would not believe,
The depth of their deceit...
Sit seething,
Huffing and puffing...
In deep breaths breathing.
Seeing themselves as pawns,
And baited victims,
Of an economic mess...
No one is willing to fix!
Or express one regret.
Not in the support,
Of the continuance...
Of such disasterous conflicts,
Their ignorance permitted...
An elected leadership to exist!
And this depression,
Will be their last and final lesson.
With all suffering a mental suppression.
That promises to craze them into raging bits!

Could you read me another fairytale?

Hetuaght me a lesson
He said he was going to
teach me a lesson.
I needed to no some things.
The lesson was rape.
But he said it was a game.
He said I had to learn sometime.
When he'd finished.
He smiled and said.
This happens to
Stupid little girls
All the time.
I was only teaching you a lesson.
If it was a lesson to learn
It was one well tuaght.
Be weary of who you trust.
For you never can
Read people like a book.
If you could
The world would be safe.
It was a lesson hard learned.
One that still remains today.
Its a lesson that effects me still.
I only wish I could
Of turned and run.
Only when your young
Like that you dont
Really understand.
If I did
I would of ran.
A thousand miles a way.
Out of reach.
And out of harms way.

Friendship.
Some people have many friends around,
Some have only one best to count,
But there are many who would like to find one,
Searching, but never finding what would count as fun.
Some people gets a dog, a cat or other companion,
Because many feels life is lonely, they need a connection.
However, the meaning of friendship is another life lesson,
When we have to learn something from each other to summon.
When we learned the lesson what we should,
The friendship stops some way as it could.
We separate, one dies or moves away,
That is the order of life every day.
But there are those who are friends to the world,
They found happiness within themselves as their life whirl.
They have no need for bossing or serving anyone
Or someone to entertain them,
They are the child of the Universe, they have no more problem.

Hey, Mr. Dj, I Thought You Said We Had A Deal
I could never sleep my way to the top
'cause my alarm clock always wakes me right up
And since my options had been whittled away
I struck a bargain with my radio dj
I said i'd like this song to be number one
He said "i'd really really like to help you my son"
And then i knew that i would have him to thank
Because he asked me how much i had in the bank
He said to think long term investment and
That all the others had forgiven themselves
He said the net reward would justify
The colossal mess they'd made of their lives
He said the record wouldn't have to be hot
And no one ever seemed to care if it's not
It would depend on something else that i've got
And that the other ones who'd given it a shot
Had seen a modest sum grow geometrically
And then they had forgiven themselves
Because the net reward had justified
The colossal mess they'd made of their lives*
Hey mr. dj, i thought you said we had a deal
I thought you said, "you scratch my back and i'll scratch your record"
And i thought you said we had a deal
Well, i told you about the world (its address)
I wonder when they're gonna clean up the mess
You know the rabid child is still tuning in
Chess piece face's patience must be wearing thin
Because they haven't played this song on the air
Not that anyone but me even cared
And the disk jockey has moved out of town
The district courthouse says he's nowhere to be found
He said to think long term investment and
That all the others had forgiven themselves
He said the net reward would justify
The colossal mess they'd made of their lives
Hey mr. dj, i thought you said we had a deal
I thought you said, "you scratch my back and i'll scratch your record"
And i thought you said we had a deal

Neglect Does Not Encourage Nourishment
What gives you the right to expect respect,
When none from you has been shown or given.
There is a give and take one most learn to tolerate.
Neglect does not encourage nourishment,
For any champion seeking to bloom.
What are you here to offer?

Life – A Melodrama Of Labour
The melodrama of labour,
The menace of failure
The determination to achieve,
To make one believe
That success can be near,
Turns down the failure-fear
And a step you advance, success seems to cling
Give more thrust and advance, And you find yourself in success ring.
Success succumbs to the brave,
Cowards fear success break
Paradoxically the want is universal
Made by planned series of rehearsals.
How many can cut the joy of enjoying?
Or learn enjoying in the work?
How many can realize the joy is work?
And learn working without end?
Complacence succumbs to success,
But significant is its degree
So calls for success after success,
Ongoing till breath can be!
Falls to be without distress,
And success to be without rest
Just as Nature weaves the flowers,
Without heed to the whither-showers.
Success is all pervasive,
Success: light or massive
Success is sugar of life,
The sprout of Success is bright.
No onset, No end,
Success has in its blend
Image of one’s deity
And gratefulness for complacence.
This is the tale of life,
This is the consent of joy & spice
From a success in having breaths
To an all successful life!

The Best Of Images That Represent
Expensive is the ongoing investment made,
In ignorance.
No longer is it cost effective,
Deciding who sees and who stays blind.
Or the act to praise some with an uplifting done,
While leaving others behind.
Who made the decision,
To choose those to represent high ideals?
Who made the decision,
Selected standards and values...
Would be the best etiquette?
Who decided to mess up everything like this?
And who self righteous,
Will ever admit...
Something has gone terribly wrong,
In their insistence persisted...
Of this permitted existence.
Expensive is the ongoing investment made,
In ignorance.
No longer is it cost effective,
Deciding who sees and who stays blind.
Or the act to praise some with an uplifting done,
While leaving others behind.
Who made the decision,
To choose those to represent high ideals?
Who made the decision,
Selected standards and values...
Would be the best etiquette?
Who decided to mess up everything like this?
And please,
Don't let it be...
The act of illegal aliens.
Or those homeless and hungry,
Pleading on their knees.
Wishing to give the best of images that represent,
The quality of life and those highlights of a great society.
