Shifting Winds
Too beautiful to fall,
Fail or stumble.
These steadfast priorities...
Are undergoing drastic change.
For those accustomed to strutting tall.
As if life for them,
Should remain staying the same.
Afterall...
That's how it has been,
For those consumed with assumptions.
From Sunrise and Sunset...
As each day for them begins,
And ends.
Humility with humor,
Saves those from embarrassment.
Especially when today's foundations,
Once considered stable...
Expose a rusting of steel.
With signs of crumbling cement.
Ushering in new 'dents' never before seen in them.
Many are observed scrambling around,
Trying to make sense of the senselessness found.
Only to find themselves attempting to regain composure.
After they have discovered a miscalculation,
Of shifting winds that bring them to lay in poses shown.
That bowls them over...
Flat on their backs upon cracks on the ground!
This for them a fresh experience now known!
With a hope they can retrieve,
A helping hand...
To assist them with a lift to get them off their knees.
And no one there recognizes,
The dizzying bob in their obvious weave.

To Trip and Stumble
It matters not to me,
Where you believe I come from.
Or where my next steps are placed,
On a path I take...
Through a host of judgements passed,
To trip and stumble to the ground...
With only my pride and integrity to grasp.
I am the first one to admit,
I have no wish to be perfect.
Or rush to conceal mistakes I have made.
My faith is much too strong,
Than anyone's critique focused on my wrongs.
As I am observed standing tall once again,
After experiencing scraped knees to expose I can grin.

He saw me in the storm
Lord have you seen my tears?
Can't you see I'm drowning in my fears?
I try to run but there's no where left to hide
I fall to my knees because I'm dying here inside
I lift my eyes and there's darkness all around
I try to get up but I fall back to the ground
I try to scream but I cannot make a sound
I'm lost and alone and I never shall be found
Reach down and touch me Lord wont you please?
For if you don't I'll die here on my knees
My heart is broken and has spilled out all my love
My only hope is a touch from up above
The darkness Lord has consumed my very soul
To survive one more night is my only goal
Hope has abandoned me and left me high and dry
And with this last breath I lift my voice and cry
Oh Lord Jesus wont you hear this plea
I'm bound and chained and longing to be free
This one last breath is all I have to give
Save my soul from death so that I once more may live
Listen child I have heard your plea's
I see you dying there down upon you knees
I see your broken heart the pieces on the ground
I see that storm that is raging all around
I speak to that storm and it shall be stilled
I will replace that broken heart and it shall be filled
Take my hand and get up from off you knees
Look around and see that I have stilled the sea's
Walk with Me and know you're not alone
Let us dwell together here before my holy throne
Let my peace replace all of your fears
For my love for you has wiped away all the tears

I Will Not Change
Golly gee, what's become of me?
Have I lost my sense of humor?
Have I become a doom and gloomer?
Maybe this is just a stage
that I am passing through right now.
I will get out of this somehow.
I must not allow events of today
to come and change who I am
and to become just like them.
I will scatter myself to the winds
and find a beautiful place
and change the look upon my face.
I'll search for the smile that was mine,
and keep it my intent
to keep myself content.

My Senseless Advice To Those Disappointed In Love
When a requited love becomes refuted,
the cuties fall in agony deep;
from which to raise them is very difficult.
Some lose their life-breath with no love to die.
Some enter fire by cursing those behind their end.
What a pity! They fail to taste the experience
of finding mirth in gloom in this life.
A flashflood of sorrow devastates gentle hearts.
New blossoms burst in every Spring.
Fresh waters flood the rivers and make them again hale.
The waves which have no strength to hit the shore
regain energy and repeated efforts make and embrace.
Life once gone is gone for ever;
But love flowers again and again and it dies never.
Attempting suicide is the arms of the cowards.
Living till the end, crossing all the hurdles bring heartfelt rewards.
Why not refurbish and renovate your hearts with a fresh love?
Many -a-dog roam around with lolling tongues.
Choose the good dog, of course a pet dog to be with you ever.
But don't seek love after love for making a hatrick or a ton.
Limit it two times and live with it till the last knell.
Love isn't costly British brandy or Scotch Whisky;
a readily available cheap arrack and toddy.
But the problem is you've to find quality drinks.
Your mesmerizing glance is the philtre;
by which catch him and imprison him in your heart.
Don't open your secrets or else the bee will be off.
Someone with a loving heart will knock at the doors.
Till then wait with hope to make a comeback.

The Slipping of Meet Notes
Accustomed to lies.
What does the truth really mean?
Accustomed to lies laying low on the scene!
Accustomed to tell them...
And protect when told.
Accustomed to lies,
Whether fresh released or old held on hold!
Accustomed to lies...
Without a bat of an eyelash moving!
Accustomed to lies.
Dishonesty is accepted and shown.
At the work place
Where the slipping of meet notes,
Does not provoke disdain.
Accustomed to lies...
And that's how our lives remain!
In heated sex away from home!
Regardless of who spies on another,
Both buffer their suffering by what's condoned.
Accustomed to lies...
And what is taught is always known!
Accustomed to lies.
Accustomed to holding on to them,
Until time flys!

Falling Away With You
I can't remember when it was good
moments of happiness elude
maybe I just misunderstood
all of the love we left behind
watching our flash backs intertwine
memories I will never find
so i'll love whatever you become
forget the reckless things we've done
I think our lives have just begun
I think our lives have just begun
and I'll feel my world crumbling
I'll feel my life crumbling
I'll feel my soul crumbling away
falling away
falling away with you
staying awake to chase a dream
tasting the air you're breathing in
I hope I won't forgot a thing
I wish to hold you close and pray
watching our fantasies decay
nothing will ever stay the same
and all of the love we threw away
and all of the hopes we've cherished fade
making the same mistakes again
making the same mistakes again
and I'll feel my world crumbling
I'll feel my life crumbling
I'll feel my soul crumbling away
and falling away
falling away with you
all of the love we left behind
watching our flash backs intertwine
memories I will never find
memories I will never find

Position
I can’t move away from my stated position
Though it may be temporary or period of transition
There may arise many more questions
Not to discuss at all or make any mention
How to cope and face the challenges?
How to stand fast and simply manage?
It is no easy task and considered state of art
One may be facing dark but tries to look smart
It is the way to lessen the worry
Nothing can be solved out of hurry
Sometimes you may feel only sorry
Burden and frustration only to carry
Everybody is facing delicate situation in life
Hasty action needed when situation is not rife
All calculations may prove wrong and invite trouble
Calm water may be disturbed with lot of bubbles
Weak may develop cold feet and loose the patience
Winning game may go out of hand in presence
Nothing could be done to retrieve the position
Only strong will power may needed for imposition
What else can be done to avert the show down?
Why can’t we present the smiling face devoid of frown?
It is good to be in complete control of mind
We may be able to think fresh and able to find
Life is full of ups and downs with no solution in sight
Some may go wrong even if seemed very right
We may loose hope and think of bad consequence
Drawing some conclusions with right inferences
It is state of mind that makes us to feel bad or good
Only alert mind can take you out of the wood
How to over come out of it is anybody’s guess
One must be ready with open mind to confess
You may emerge strong as ever before
You will realize what you were trying for?
It will give proof of your stable mind
Ability to come out of it with new ways to find
Never to let your mind to any one else
Let others guess and remain ever tense
This will give you enough room to maneuver
Defuse the crisis and successfully come over
I wish I could adopt the simple theory
Refresh the mind with fresh memory
Easy to find the solutions with open mind
Show always good composure and behavior kind
This is how we overcome and act
No action in haste or simply react
It will complicate the real issue
You may fail to get what is really due

Help Somebody
Maurice white, donald whitehead & wade flemons
No man should have face to face
His problems alone, alone, alone
Reach out and help the weak man
Make him strong, strong, strong
Now I want to help somebody
Id like to help you, you, you
Now dont that make you want to
Help somebody too, too, too
*the love you give
Might help somebody live
So give yourself
Go out and help somebody else
Your helping hand
Will make you a better man
Do wah, do way, let love prevail
Reach out and help somebody
Reach out and help somebody
If we all stand together
Well all stand tall, tall, tall
We wouldnt let each other
Tumble and fall, fall, fall
Now lets reach down together
And lift somebody up, up, up
Give a little love and kindness
It wont take much, much, much
(*repeat)
Reach out your hand and help somebody today
(repeat to end)

Life needs to change
Life needs some change
Human beings must manage
Body must develop cracks
Forget everything even if something is at stake
Sun may offer scorching heat
To make you stubborn and sweat
This is how some resistance is developed
Even with dryness some love is eloped
So the mother earth suffer onslaught
So much thrust imposed by draught
What is needed and what is not
Sun makes it harder and it ism severely fought
Life is in shamble and earth turns dry
As if age has approached and one feels shy
It is all preludes to invite monsoon
Life to regain and shine soon
Sufferings may be over
With providence of green cover
New life may come in force
Nothing may be left even to be remembered as remorse
Such is cycle that has to be repeated
Not all happiness is to be given at once or be seated
Hot and humid weather must change to cool
Moon must appear with band of stars in full
Top and bottom are two extreme ends
Receive with grace at the bottom and also sends
To the last leg of ladder at the height
Not to fall back with the fear of weight
No body may remain shield less or orphan
That may remain and to be seen as worst part or span
Days may be over soon to bring about change
Joy and happiness may vary with different range

Sea And Sand, The Fall Of Land
See me here, standing tall
Waiting for my fatal fall
Not the trip that lands the cut on the knee
But the fall that man and beast alike flee
You see I hold myself in pride
For I am one that fights this tide
Not alone do I stand
But none can lend a helping hand
I see my fellow brothers disappear
As the moon and sea does near
For they cut and bite at my skin
Just as they did to my fallen kin
Yet once my foundations fail
Another shall continue this tale
For although we are not unending
It'll be a while until disasters impending
For the sea may erode our life away
Our skin of stone shall fight to the end of days

It Implies Not Looking Back
What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.
So many have been comforted,
By schedules made and keeping set dates.
With a scratching off from a menu decided,
To replace or hesitate to eventually procrastinate.
What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.
Even Mother Nature comes to assist with this movement.
With a shifting of Earth and turbulent winds.
Spinning storms called hurricanes,
From the shores of Africa that begin...
In vast waters referred to as the Atlantic Ocean.
And still there are those demanding entitlements,
With preferences prayed in a daily devotion.
As if they have rights to insist a life liked to live.
What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.
But...
Unfortunate are those who believe,
A moving back in time...
Is a choice to make as to who will lead,
Them away from truth...
To produce more delusions and fantasies!
What a word...
Forward.
It implies not looking back.
Or getting too accustomed,
To that which is familiar and intact.
And leaving behind many detached,
Who will never become attached to reality.
Moving forward is the change everyone will believe in,
Whether to embrace, accept or not.
We live to experience, grow to then distance,
From aged beliefs to advance to other adventures.
With a wisdom kept to keep to be reminisced but not lived,
Repeatedly to comfort our insecurities.
'I hate change.'
Me too.
I wish I had more dollars.

So Accustomed To This
Accustomed we are,
To cheapness.
With a fakeness that glistens.
And being on knees to plead,
For a decent existence.
Accustomed we are,
To reach with a seeking.
Although deceived by theories idealized,
To keep our delusions fresh...
And kept alive as standards long rusted.
So accustomed to this,
We are...
Caught up in despising any realist,
Found to be painting scenes...
Pictured as observed.
And yet seen but felt demeans,
With exaggerated caricatures...
Depicting realities lived as they are.
But denied.
With a feeling that leaves those believing,
How appalled they are to be this openly offended.

Beyond The Sunset
Should you go first and i remain, to walk the road alone
Ill live in memory's garden dear, with happy days we've known
In spring i'll wait for roses red, when faith the lilacs bloom
And in early fall when brown leaves fall,
I'll catch a glimpse of you
Should you go first and i remain, for battles to be fought
Each thing you've touched along the way, will be a hallowed spot
I'll hear your voice ill see your smile
Though blindly i may grope
The memory of your helping hand, will buoy me on with hope
(c)beyond the sunset oh blissful (g)morning
When with our saviour, heaven is be(c)gun
Earths toiling ended, oh glorious (f)dawning
Beyond the (c)sunset (g)when day is (c)done
Should you go first and i remain, to finish with the scroll
No lessening shadows shall ever creep in
To make this life seem droll
We've known so much of happiness, we've had our cup of joy
And memory is one gift of god, that death cannot destroy
I want to know each step you take, that i may walk the same
For someday down that lonely road, you'll hear me call your name
Should you go first and i remain, one thing ill have you do
Walk slowly down that long long path, for soon ill follow you
(c)in that fair homeland we'll know no (f)parting
Beyond the (c)sunset (g)for ever (c)more

Doesn't It Seem As If This Dawn Is Different?
Good Morning.
Such a beautiful day.
Doesn't it seem as if this dawn is different?
Doesn't it seem as if the presence of fresh air,
Has made those stop and stare...
And wonder about their priorities and affairs?
Had you been one of those raise to use the 'N' word?
With the 'F' and the 'S' and the 'MF' next?
Were you one of those to 'G-D' them and their kind?
Today you may find yourself,
Feeling stupid and perplexed.
Realizing your beliefs are far from perfect!
Had you been one of 'those' to move away from 'them'?
Because of their features and color of skin.
Did you and your friends,
Plot to deceive.
Believing your future was to create,
Generations of dynasties.
To fulfill selfish needs of a racial 'purety'.
Are you one of those who now sit scratching,
Your once privileged head?
Isolated in surburbia,
And clouded in sadness...
With a dose of overwhelming dread?
You have to admit...
You and yours to yourselves have fed.
With wishes your life and perceptions about it,
Could start all over again,
Instead?
With plantation dreams...
Of having slaves bring to you breakfast in bed.
Those me-me-I-I issues and racist remarks...
Seem a bit trifling today don't they?
Since your values and standards are being ripped apart.
And you were right there cheering this 'BS' on!
Hoping those you selected to lead...
Would not strip away those visions,
To have you plead...
As you and others with similar points of view...
To do to others before they did it to you.
Backstabbing to defame,
Without remorse and/or shame.
And now...
The blame game.
Who has done what to whom and why.
But those who create conflict in fellowship...
Worshipping 'things' that bring upon their feelings of emptiness.
Has begun an experience of a flagrant miscalculation.
One you thought you would never reminisce.
Not to treat you...
One of their own like this!
And yet...
Their deeds will not deliver escapes...
To flee from guilt.
Or the manifestation of such devastation.
Good Morning.
Such a beautiful day.
Doesn't it seem as if this dawn is different?
Doesn't it seem as if the presence of fresh air,
Has made those stop and stare...
And wonder about their priorities and affairs.
With an awareness that dares to be accepted!
How can those who invested in collected deceit...
Be treated with such disrespect.
As a few plan and plot,
To crush them into subservience...
In an accepting consciousness,
That awakens too late to protest!
Good Morning.
Doesn't it seem as if this dawn is different?
To those of you who have been out of touch!
Slowly...
Inhale the realities.
The availability of them have for you arrived.

Everytime I Fall
(johnny mcrae/steve clark)
Let me tell you 'bout a lady that i know
Who stood tall and proud beside me
Down many a dead end road
Never asking more than i could give
And never once complaining
About the way we had to live
Well she never showed a sign of losing hope
Though a million dreams and promises
Have all gone up in smoke
She hides her disappointment out of love
And if i laid the whole world at her feet
It wouldn't be enough
She's the rock i lean on through it all
Everytime i stumble
Everytime i fall
And though she's never shown it
I've known it from the start
Everytime i fall it breaks her heart
Everytime i fall
It breaks her heart
Now let me tell you about the million silent tears
I've found hidden on her pillow
In the mornings through the years
Somehow i'm still a hero in her eyes
But to tell the truth
I can't give you one good reason why
She's the rock i lean on through it all
Everytime i stumble
Everytime i fall
And though she's never shown it
I've known it from the start
Everytime i fall it breaks her heart
Everytime i fall
It breaks her heart

Faith and Hope- The true pursuit of happiness!
When stars dim up in the sky
When things seem so hard to try
When raging sea billows roll
When all seems bad and all seems cold
When giving up seems to become your goal
When stale bread is the only meal
When all options fail and there's more with to deal
Faith and Hope can make your wounds heal
Faith is the belief that it would happen
Hope is the feeling that makes it happen
When Hope is lost
It can be found
When all seems gone to the ground
Hope can still germinate this time around
And fill your heart with something special
A special feeling that someday it will get better
And guess what
No true believer has disproved this law
Things will get better when you work hard enough
When the going is tough
Be tougher
When all seems rough
Try harder
Things will get better...
Better someday.
WHen all seems lost
Trust in hope the priceless cost
to pay all the trouble and weary down to nothing
For in hope the homeless get mansions
In hope the cowards seek bravery
in hope the lonely seek love
and experience true love
For in hope the troubled seek peace
and find true happiness.
Yes...the pursuit of happiness is Hope
And in Hope we will all find joy
For if you have a Dream
Believe it for hope can make you achieve it!
And in all you need faith to retrieve it!

Assumptions Kept
Are you the kind that gets upset...
When your assumptions kept,
Have been proven to be incorrect?
And when this is discovered,
Do you do your best to pretend to forget...
When in the presence of someone,
You hope has forgotten your disrespect?
Are you the kind that gets upset...
When your assumptions kept,
Have been proven to be incorrect?
And those assumptions had been shared,
By others also like you...
Assuming throughout their lives,
That what they hear about others is true.
Are you the kind that gets upset...
When your assumptions kept,
Have been proven to be incorrect?
And the only thing you can do is your best...
To prove to the ones you have done this to,
Is to prove to them you are not the fool...
You have shown yourself to be.

Beg A Little Love
(hunter/mcnasty)
Life takes a little piece of you away
Most everyday of your life
Oh learn to get wise, you learn to compromise-
You learn to criticise yourself
I guess we all grow up cos one day everything-
Seems so further from the truth
And you try to find yourself- in this endless youth
I said you try to find yourself-and you
Beg a little love
Fate takes another stab at your face
And you can never cease to resist
And you take it on the chin-that old sucker punch again
Reminds you what youve missed
When the colors blazed and your jealousy raged
You were so sensitive to every touch
And it aint to forget in this endless youth
So you find a perfect stranger- and you
Beg a little love
What do you get in the end
Did you really need that friend
Your emotions dulled to save your heart
From failing at the hardest part
But you still get down on your knees
I said you get down n your knees
And you beg
Now theres nothing left to laugh at
Nothing left to say-nothing left do
Theres nothing left-so theres nothing left to ask for
But you still get down on your knees- and you beg
These words are my sacrificial lamb
Burnin a hole down my heart
Dancin down that river of no return
You know you missed that boat- but you still get
Down on your knees
Afterall o those years
Afterall o those fears
Afterall o those dreams
Afterall o those screams
Aferall o those nights
Afterall o those fights
When my mind had gone, when both o my minds had gone
When my minds had gone
Im still a child
And I get down on my knees and I beg
Beg a little love

Crumbling Paradise
Our paradise is a beautiful place in mind,
Exist only when we go there in spirit,
On a trip; in this realm of splendid sublime,
Only those so deep in love can get to it.
A precious place of graceful escapades,
Found in the wind that floats through the air,
Dare to be where our daily memory fades,
And fond embrace becomes the treasure.
We seek more from this impure life,
And would endure every pain and torment,
But fiery trials esteem the crumbling grief,
These are the broken promise presently sent.
Burning desire more consuming than fire,
Within me lift the flames to a new heaven,
Overwhelm to speak of any intruder,
Pushing me out and trying to break in.
We fall down but love made us get up again,
With broken dreams of crumbling paradise,
There is no tears heaven; sorrow or pain,
We make our dreams here living in disguise.
No sweet exhale can make this paradise crumble,
Only truth we share divides the beat in our heart,
To make us stop and stare and quietly stumble,
Until we find the truest path where eternity start.
