Severed
Severed!
From a maddening treachery
Inbreds keep in beds...
Sickened by duty,
Beyond comprehension.
And foiled through time.
Barking mongrels!
Thoroughbreds are desired,
Sired by tainted thoughts and deeds.
None of them are any of these
With a purety of consciousness.
A wickedness flows...
Streaming from the core of their foundation.
Eroding anything that's meaningfully clinched.
This incredible debauchery will never be cleansed.
Their ways are demented and fermented in self importance!
Unfortunately,
They are also severed.
Out of reach from a reality they preach
Thinking words alone sustains control.
There is so much that has rolled along unattached!
They've been severed from meaning.
Severed from a purpose they can't understand.
Severed they are...
And rotting!

Dilly-Dally
The dalliance so severed my veins with fire,
The dilly-dallying of my life had just happened.
My virtues involved the system of joy,
The vilification of a soul was upon us.
Pleasing was a sad point to include for all those ill,
My veins sent shivers to me, the blood flowed in ways.
I have severed my veins at the end of time and space,
I join others in the game of chess when lost for words.

Remedy for the Severed Soul
You may think that there’s no possible way
that you can survive another lonely day.
The tearing apart of a time formed bond
that is so cruel and undeniably wrong.
But please weep not tears of a severed soul,
for crying won’t make the severed whole.
Think of sorrow as a troubled nights sleep,
and tomorrows as rest days from the bleak.
Consider the nights as stepping stones
where one remembers not being alone,
and as the light pushes the dark away,
your pain will ease with each passing day.

shhhh
c'mon, c'mon
my best friend's a butcher, he has sixteen knives
he carries them all over the town
at least he tries oh look it stopped snowing
my best friend's from Poland and oh he has a beard
but they caught him with his case in a public place
that is what we had feared
he severed segments and secretely liked that
he always had the time to speak with me I liked him for that
he severed segments and secretely liked that
he always took the time
he always took the time
c'mon now pussycat
my best friend's a butcher, he has sixteen knives
he carries them all over the town
at least he tries oh look it stopped snowing
my best friend's from Poland and oh he has a beard
but they caught him with his case in a public place
that is what we had feared
he severed segments and secretely liked that
he always had the time to speak with me I liked him for that
he severed segments and secretely liked that
he was growing on me
he was growing on me

Soldiers
soldiers, soldiers,
marching in dead time.
ghouls without faces,
in mechanical rhyme.
paid for, paid off,
eyes open and blind.
hearts severed from the soul,
soul severed from the mind.
gunfire, racism,
treat women like a toy.
grown men without mothers,
fathers, just boys.
gang bangers, pimp daddies,
kings of purgatory.
bad drugs, bad days,
and nights without joy.
cant pay the rent, get a job,
and prison becomes their school.
no hope for nothing more than nothing,
trapped by the have not rules....
soldiers, soldiers.
pawns in the rich man's game.
victims of unholy anger,
and gods that have no name!

Desensitize As If To Crave Such Whims
The sad and pitiful people.
Sobbing uncontrollably,
After performing repeatedly...
The most hideous of deeds to see.
And pathetically begging as is witnessed,
To be given a forgiveness they get...
Once again.
Over and over without an end.
The sad and pitiful people.
Making a mockery of those who give,
A forgiveness granted and bestowed...
On the ones whose heads should be severed,
And rolled to expose...
The evil that flows from their veins.
But those who forgive are seen scrubbing away,
Any remaining of dismissed stains.
As they comfort those evil to assist and mend,
To return to a doing with a feeling of being cleansed.
Yet emotionally inflicting more pain that begins,
With a testing of the ones...
Becoming more desensitized as if to crave such whims.

Art And Nature
THE BRIDGE BETWEEN CLIFTON AND LEIGH WOODS.
Frown ever opposite, the angel cried,
Who, with an earthquake's might and giant hand,
Severed these riven rocks, and bade them stand
Severed for ever! The vast ocean-tide,
Leaving its roar without at his command,
Shrank, and beneath the woods through the green land
Went gently murmuring on, so to deride
The frowning barriers that its force defied!
But Art, high o'er the trailing smoke below
Of sea-bound steamer, on yon summit's head
Sat musing; and where scarce a wandering crow
Sailed o'er the chasm, in thought a highway led;
Conquering, as by an arrow from a bow,
The scene's lone Genius by her elfin-thread.

A Cut Above The Rest
My great-grandfather was a soldier
and Rebecca was his loving wife.
They were wed in what was then India
and she was accustomed to army life.
They lived in an Indian army bungalow
on the outskirts of the city of Lahore.
Whilst the Major was away on duty
a guard kept their home secure.
One evening as the sun was setting
an open window let in the breeze.
The manservant lit the oil lamps
then retired to the bungalow’s eaves.
As Rebecca sat quietly reading
the sound of a thud came from outside.
From the wall she took her father’s sword
and stood behind the curtain as if to hide.
With the sword raised high and ready
she was in a position to take a swing.
Nervously she stood there waiting
for whatever the night would bring.
From behind the closed curtains
a hand and then an arm poked through
and then with a swipe of the sword
she severed the wrist in two.
A loud scream of pain followed,
as the man left his severed limb behind.
When Rebecca later told the story
she said the burglar left more than he could find.

Frammento
A fragment is something incomplete
Something broken-off, severed,
Detached, segregated,
A fragment of a conversation,
Extant fragments of an ancient
Document written on stone,
A fragment of my poetry,
How
do
i
say
it?
………………………………….
Some fragments of myself
Missing some fragments of
Myself hidden, and you will
Not find them, too many fragments
like lice in a native woman's
hair spreading on her head
I place them where
You cannot find them because
You presume too much
To know me to love me,
Along this line, so many parts
are detached, perhaps my navel
my mole, my thumb
my right ear, my left eye
So many parts severed, perhaps
My head from my heart
my mind from my soul
my past from my future
Some extant fragments of
My past self, written on some
Stones still unturned, yes
I have pretended so much
And you cannot detect
Which is true from false
i have become so many parts
of myself, now in the last hours
fragmented
wanting to be whole again..

United In Pain
my fingers
are not mine anymore
they are running
out of control
i do not wish
to write some more
to infuriate you
but my hands are
rebels
coming out from
my arms
into their
fingers
writing these
lines
i am detached
severed
from the rest of my
parts
i have no more control
about
destiny in the making
birds of blue
feathers
are coming out
from my mouth
and they are not
coming back
my fingers are
automatons
writing now on
their own
i am not
responsible for your
anger
i am a useless man
and my fingers
are not mine anymore
my C5 chokes a nerve
i am numb
my fingers are at war
against
each other now
thoughts converge
without much meaning
united
in pain.

Midway Park
Ride with you tonight, Ill ride forever
Theres no way to predict this kind of weather
Ashes fall to earth, words are severed
Feathers turn to weighted iron pillars
Midway park
Streetlights shine on a hood that is dark
Down on the graves
Where well lie. well lie. well lie.
Think of you tonight, Ill think forever
Theres no way to predict this kind of weather
Ashes fall to earth, words are severed
Feathers turn to broken beads and pillars
Midway park
Streetlights shine on a hood that is dark
Down on the graves
Well lie. where well lie. well lie.
Dont tell the truth, well lie
Just lie.
Dont tell the truth
Just lie.

Epilogue
Rows of books around me stand,
Fence me in on either hand;
Through that forest of dead words
I would hunt the living birds -
So I write these lines for you
Who have felt the death-wish too,
All the wires are cut, my friends
Live beyond the severed ends.
