Seeps as if Squeezed

Difficult it is to keep defended,
Generations of sins committed.
When an integrity diminishes...
With a steady application of deceit.
Increasing as it does,
An exposure for all to see.
Without the benefit of relief.

How is it that anyone...
Can maintain with a sustaining of beliefs?
When evidence provided seeps as if squeezed.
And is as obvious as the falling,
Of Auntumn leaves from barren trees.
As stark branches left bare,
Reveal such a nakedness that seems to stare.

Autumnale for M lady ernestine

The falling leaves dance in the breeze
and clothe the ground beneath the trees,
in autumn colours rich a rare.
The trees themselves will soon be bare.

Left no defence against the wind.
Their winter plans are well designed,
bare twigs and branches hold less snow
than useless leaves they have let go

The wintry gales to no avail
try hard but they are doomed to fail,
They can’t destroy the sturdy trees;
resisting with apparent ease.

Although they bow before the blast
they know that winter cannot last
The winds will die and fade away
the trees will they’re here to stay.

Spring will return the trees will green
as if the winter had not been.
The trees put on their new spring clothes
along with every plant that grows.

There and back again for M 'lady Chitra

There are no blossoms to be seen.
They’ve served their turn and left the stage
The trees are clad in shades of green
One further step on their passage

from the bare twigs of winter time.
Stark silhouettes against the sky
then blossom time which is sublime
Providing pleasure for the eye/

The trees are in their summer dress
More subtle than their spring attire.
Waiting for autumn to impress
with leaves that seem to be on fire.

The autumn winds well strip them bare
and spread their glory on the ground.
A coloured blanket everywhere.
and twigs now dancing to the sound

of early winter gales that blow.
Creating eerie harmonies,
bare branches moving to and fro
produce discordant melodies.

The trees endure the winters rage,
the bitter cold and falling snow,
The know it’s just another stage
they’re well prepared to undergo.

Before the welcome spring returns
to prompt new tender leaves to grow
Followed by blossoms in their turn.
As seasons come and seasons go,

The Wedding Gown Of The Spring Is More Fair (Rondel Prime)

The wedding gown of the spring is more fair
than the stark nakedness that winter does bring,
when many trees do their bright garments wear
and day and night birds do rejoicing sing,

while insects buzz and flutter in the air
and happiness is in everything living.
The wedding gown of the spring is more fair
than the stark nakedness that winter does bring,

than the silence that is cold and bare,
when some birds do frolic, to and thro wing
their way and gladness is in their flying
until the sun's late afternoon red glare.
The wedding gown of the spring is more fair
than the stark nakedness that winter does bring.

Infestation Of Getting 'High' On Education

The increasing costs of one's higher education,
Provides 'what' as a guarantee?
Intelligence?
Common sense?
An ability to know the difference between...
Being accountable and responsible?
Competent 'with' integrity?

Does the increasing costs of one's education,
Automatically bestow pride...
And identity?
Or is one paying to network nonsense?
To ensure more of it becomes obvious as seen.
And we all benefit by the process of this...
Infestation of getting 'high' on education and not deeds.

With A Motive Not To Be Provoked

There are people with a motive,
To be...
Left alone.
And many are to this committed.
Many are to this committed.

And there are people more devoted,
To keep their peace condoned.
And many are to this committed.
Many are to this committed.

To get away from all the alibis.
And those who live their lives making up lies.
With so many to this committed.
As if there's benefit in it.
To change what they say in a minute.
This limits and this diminishes.
This limits and this diminishes.

People have a motive,
To be...
Alone!
And doing this free without limits.
And doing this free without limits.
And doing this free without limits.
And doing this free without limits.

To get away from all the alibis.
And doing this free without limits.
And doing this free without limits.

And those who live their lives making up lies.

One summer when the wind was strong

This is the place, now we are here again

I remember that summer when the wind was strong
And everything around us was dry,

The acacia trees towered and showered us with
Round leaves falling and falling and falling

Some birds were there and they flew away
Some cars were there and they speeded away

It was getting dark and it was a dry summer
We stayed there for a while when the leaves fell

Then we went under the trees not seeking shelter
But to catch those leaves falling and falling and falling

We are trying to feel again what falling was
We are here on this summer, we see the leaves

Falling and falling again to the dry wind,
We try to recall about us, but there is simply

Nothing about us anymore, but just the same
The leaves fall and fall and fall, we see them reenacting

There is that meaning; there it is in the falling
But we have outgrown it, we look for more, we hope

We can find some more, something beyond us.

After The Bombing Of The Small Village

after the bombing of the small village
by the insurgents
some flesh still hang on the
branches of mahogany trees
some eyeballs of women left to stare
to the skies
some toes are scattered on the grass
shrapnel reigns like the
pebbles on the shore

that morning she looks over the window
she finds ripe guava fruits
on the branches surrounded
with green leaves

There Has to Be 'Something' Left to Salvage

There has to be 'something' left to salvage.
Something with a footstep placed,
And taken towards integrity.
Something with a fingerprint on it...
That says with uncertain proof,
He even knows what that means.

Something besides lies and deceit done.
And a legacy that will state...
He saved the land from terrorists that would come.
Or came and claimed to have stunned.

There has to be 'something' left to salvage.
Something with a footstep placed,
And taken towards integrity!

He and his followers would like to see,
Him vindicated...
For making decisions that will lift his name up...
And away from the gutter from a greed satiated.

There has got to be something,
Other than corruption and smut!
Smothered and dipped in utter ignorance.
And an ending of a greatness one country 'had'..
He and incompetence has left in rags!

Since he and what he has created...
Leaves a democracy in devastation.
And one sad man who secretly grieves.

There has to be 'something' left to salvage.
Something other than a directed bitterness...
Shown with an openness.
And criticizes a failed leadership.
That would be difficult to disguise,
For those who witnessed it...
And despise.
To leave it and him unscathed.
What in the days and years ahead can be said?

Many are left sickened.
More are left dead!
And those who are wounded...
Will never know a peace to come,
In their heads!

And he will leave behind much to grieve.
Whether he belives what he did was 'just' or not!
He was not of the justice frame of mind kind!

Autumn Leaves

Autumn leaves, in the trees
Falling to the ground
Colors of many, in the breeze
Of red and orange and brown.
Rainbow parks in the dark
Moonlight shimmers down
On the leaves, from the trees
Falling to the ground.
Lovers walk, hear them talk
To where Children played
See the beauty, and feel the warmth
From where nature stayed.
Barren trees, forgotten leaves
Another year gone by
All alone from a breeze
As the lovers softly cry.
Autumn leaves from the trees
Lying, on the ground
See the beauty, feel the warmth
And hear, autumns sound.

Oh Lucy

We love nakedness more than covering ourselves in this world,
But my love is ascending from the east with the untimely figs;
And the palm branches of your love are all that i need to see.
My love is to all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues;
And of the shame of your nakedness that is shared by many!
But do anoint your eyes with eyelids that you might see,
And don't let me spew you out of my mouth like the beast.
Oh Lucy! Why are you sharing your nakedness with all the men? !
For many have come on this love and i have seen enough,
But to cover yourself is better than the sins around you.

Chosen To Do Nothing Else

They are a people who believe,
Division and infighting is a healthy process.
They are a people who believe,
Creating enemies and beginning wars...
Has a benefit to their kept self interests.

They are a people who believe,
They can and will do exactly as they please...
To leave mountains of debris behind them,
And blame the effectiveness of cleaning up...
On others whose lives they feel,
They are entitled to ruin.

Because they are a people,
Who seek ways to self destruct!
With beliefs they are chosen to do nothing else,
But deceive and corrupt!
And the evidence is obvious enough to see.

The Barren Fig-Tree

The church a garden is
In which believers stand,
Like ornamental trees
Planted by God's own hand:
His Spirit waters all their roots,
And every branch abounds with fruits.

But other trees there are,
In this enclosure grow;
Which, though they promise fair,
Have only leaves to show:
No fruits of grace are on them found,
They stand but cumb'rers of the ground.

The under gard'ner grieves,
In vain his strength he spends,
For heaps of useless leaves,
Afford him small amends:
He hears the Lord his will make known,
To cut the barren fig-trees down.

How difficult his post,
What pangs his bowels move,
To find his wishes crossed,
His labors useless prove!
His last relief is earnest prayer,
Lord, spare them yet another year.

Spare them, and let me try
What farther means may do;
I'll fresh manure apply,
My digging I'll renew
Who knows but yet they fruit may yield!
If not--'tis just, they must be felled.

If under means of grace,
No gracious fruits appear;
It is a dreadful case,
Though God may long forbear:
At length he'll strike the threatened blow,
And lay the barren fig-tree low.

the song of the Lark

The raving madness that takes hold

The cutting bluntness

Barren, the searing desert.
I fight the urge to disembark

No Intentions Of Reliving Stale Memories

You are falling to pieces,
And you expect me to patiently
Put you back together,
With an application of smothering love.
And empathy too?
To see you mend and ignore me like you do?
Again?

I think this is one too many falling to pieces,
That you've done.
To have me feel how reliable and redundant,
Your expectations.

You'll find the glue in the attic.
Attaching together artifacts of my past.
I doubt if there is anymore left of that.
Whatever is left you can grab it.

Althoug,
I have no intentions of reliving stale memories.
I do,
However.
Have some tape to patch up your wounds,
That you are welcome to use.
I'll gladly sit with you until you are finished.
And when you are done.
Leaving will be the best gift that will be of benefit,
To us both.

Thank you for hardening my crust.

A Family Is Like A Tree

A tree is like a family it starts
out very small but it soon begins
to grow and the family too also
grows.
The tree starts out with small branches.
A family ita a child.
as the years go by they have all
grown together.
Soon the tree has been generated with
new branches and too the family expands
not with branches, but generations.

.Their both so much a like in so many
ways., if nurtured and taken care of
they both will grow straight. and tall.
And generate many new branch
and many more generations too
come as the tree grows old
some branches will die and fall off.

When the generations of a family
get old they too will die off.
But both will leave something of
themselves behind.
.
To live on for many generations of
life and many generations of branches..

Wonder of His Creations

Maintain you beliefs!
The ones that keep you restricted,
To limits and isolation.

I am not here to debate your outlook,
Or your fate!
That has been done,
By an indoctrination you satiate.
And baited to remain...
In a routine that you maintain that sustains,
Your joy!

Nor am I the one to convince,
That a higher consciousness...
Expands and not condenses.
To retrieve and leave those arguments...
Left behind walls and locked up fences.

Subtracting and contracting minds,
As is observed and evidenced.
Since I've already witnessed,
The lack of benefit...
To that restrictiveness.

Maintain you beliefs!
The ones that keep you restricted,
To limits and isolation.

I have been there myself.
That is why I have chosen,
The wealth of mind expansion.
Receiving all of God's gifts,
With blessings He delivers.
Without religious affiliation.
Or congregating with those...
Who oppose how I have chosen
To be devoted!

I know He is 'there'...
And so am I,
Here where He has delivered.
And I know the Almighty exists.
Without debating such 'wonder' of His creations.
Or where He chooses to sit,
Within His Kingdom.

So wherever you go to supply your satisfactions...
May you keep attraction them to fulfill your needs!
I am not the one to plead with you,
Which road taken...
Leads to Him any quicker.
Since my insight tells me His presence is near.

A Day In The Life Of A Tree

Feel the wind burn through my skin
The pain, the air is killing me
For years my limbs stretched to the sky
A nest for birds to sit and sing
But now my branches suffer
And my leaves dont bear the glow
They did so long ago
One day I was full of life
My sap was rich and I was strong
From seed to tree I grew so tall
Through wind and rain I could not fall
But now my branches suffer
And my leaves dont offer
Poetry to men of song
Trees like me werent meant to live
If all this world can give
Pollution and slow death
Oh lord I lay me down
No lifes left to be found
Theres nothing left for me
Trees like me werent meant to live
If all this earth can give
Is pollution
Trees like me werent meant to live
(oh lord I lay me down)
If all this earth can give
(my branches to the ground)
Is pollution and slow death
(theres nothing left for me)
Oh lord I lay me down
My branches to the ground
Theres nothing left for me

Specific By Design

Lazy adults raised by irresponsible children,
Choosing to do what they please...
With the making of excuses encouraged as done,
Are not the ones to blame for their attitudes towards life.
Many do not accept transitions and think of them as painful.

Every example of a quality of life to value,
Has been degraded by those lazy who view mediocrity...
As too much of a struggle to achieve,
With an escaping from a hopelessness and self pity.
And the evidence of their influence is too obvious to avoid.

And they are left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.

Left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.

And the evidence that is knitted in,
Becomes too obvious to avoid.

Left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.

And the evidence that is knitted in,
Becomes too obvious to avoid.

And they are left trapped in sadness patterns.
With their touches of guilt to add to a quilt...
Specific by design.

And the evidence that sits,
Becomes too obvious to avoid.
Or can anyone conscious excuse the limits of it!
And the purpose with intentions to confine...
Those of shallow and unused minds.
