Innocence these days has evaded us,
Totally.
Very few signs of it existing can be found.
And...
Wanting to keep faith everyday,
To display with a trust...
Often opens up a door to lots of us,
To the after effects of being crushed.

So why...
Do we widen our eyes,
To find an untainted love?
Secluded and exclusive...
Prepared with wishes to be seduced.

And why...
When we do meet someone who 'is' special,
We play games of fetch and catch.
To deny those feelings buried inside,
Deep to hide...
An innocence we hope someone seeks.

I Play!

Kids play
They play in every space they can find!
Innocent games!
That bring fun and pleasure to their untainted soul!
If I could retrieve my innocence!
I give my soul that which was!
These games I play!
Are they so innocent now?
The question is,
Is there innocence in the world?
We flow on denial and hope of that which is not real!
Like a game of chess!
Mixing and mingling has gone beyond that which is real!
Innocence broken down!
Am I a part of it!
Do I have a choice in everything?
That which I want is gone!
Gone with the Birds and the Queen bee!
How long can I hold on?
In denial!
I keep holding on to that which I know will never be!
Player!
The odds have turned!
Can one change a player?
One can only change one self!
I play Oh yes!
My kind of game!
I remove that which takes innocence away!

An Earthly Love, An Eternal Love

My broken heart, he shattered,
I turned 'the other cheek',
only to be 'slapped' again.

He crushed my innocence,
but only wounded my courage,

With a broken heart,
I limped on and reached out
to save myself,

And eventually, I found you.

Crushed innocence found trust,
Reborn courage marched on,
in step with our singing hearts,

Morbidity

The whitest white youll'ever see is bone
2 jobs, no life, what you knew is gone
when you work so hard, flesh is stripped
nothing left, just a skelaton, standing alone

Lost Innocence

Lost innocence!
with kind of naughtiness,
where to find childhood days again?
As we jumped, danced and made paper boats for enjoying rain.
In those days,
mumma's lap and daddy's shoulder were best to sit for games and plays.
Where? dear readers! where we have lost that fun and enjoy,
Where our dolls and car- scooter were our favorite toys.
We reach in the world of various tensions,
And lost special care and those particular intentions.
As now we are grown up,
And we reached in the world where our carrier got start-up.
Different ideas to earn are flowing in our minds,
But the innocent that we have lost is somewhere still binds.
We all have child inside our heart,
Who can shout, cry, laugh with same innocence and art.
But such innocence is lost somewhere,
And did you find that naughtiness of mine there?

Innocence Lost

Burnt Hands

Back off! my dearest
for the sparkling jewel that you see
are glittering coal
that could burn your delicate hands
I beg off you, my love
stay away
for your innocence is misleading you

WHY? ? ?
asked innocence
and the questioned remained unanswered
she inquired again; no reply

equipped with faith, she stepped forward
to rescue the misplaced gem; among the burning coal
she advanced with glaring eyes-and hope
patted her shoulder-go on dear

Screamed innocence, as she touched
the gem was equally hot
as hot as any coal

Screamed innocence- I burnt my hands
I burnt my hands, dear faith
it really hurts, she turned to hope

at this ruthless sight
faith was speechless
and hope stood back, ashamed

is this my fate? she questioned
as she glanced at her blistered hands
is this my fate? ? ? ? ? -innocence wept like a child

silence there was
and then a whisper
it will soon heal, my dear
she looked up; with tear shedding eyes
she rushed to embrace hope

INNOCENCE WAS SLAINED AS THEY SCREAMED OUT MY NAME I'M ASKING FOR CHANGE GOT DEATH IN EXCHANGE PARDON MY SCREAM AND KICKS FORGET ABOUT MY INNOCENCE FREEDOM INVOLVE TRICKS AND I CAN'T HELP BUT LAUGH MY INNOCENCE IS THE ONLY REASON I GOT STABBED ON THIS SLAB AS I'M SLICED IN HALF REACHING FOR THE INNOCENCE THAT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GRAB YELLING OUT SO UNJUST VOICE YELLS OUT HUSH AND RUSH INTO MY EMBRACE AS THEY REVIVE MY SPIRIT AND TOUCH MY FACE. Faith, Hope, Trust

Faith is a feeling of misconception.
I have Faith in myself,
But should I have Faith in you?
The real challenge is retaining Faith in us.

Hope is a state that is unsteady.
I can Hope to find Faith,
But will Hope cure the fallacy that is us?
Hoping to have Faith gives life more demand.

Trust is an idea that troubles me.
I must Trust in my Hope of finding Faith,
But will that Trust finally induce our perfect peace?
Or should I Trust that your Faith in us is Hopeless?

In order to have Faith in us,
I must first show Faith in you.
Untill I believe you have Hope in us,
I'll keep the Hope that us is true.
And when you start to Trust in us,
You can Trust I will see it through.
