Screwing For Virginity
You've got to roll with the punches,
If you're going to live life as it is.
Seeing things as they are...
And let others be!
Leaving you with a better understanding.
And confusion free.
Most as caught up in a whirlwind.
Disturbed by changed and their destinies.
Seeking to find reason...
Why they are 'out-of-it'.
And incomplete.
Screwing for a virginity.
A return to an innocence.
In a world folks believe,
They can rise to a self righteousness.
Livers of lives,
Discreet and secret.
Although a decaying mold has taken hold.

We Are Here To Do and Not Leave Undone
I have soooo much to be thankful for.
So many blessings.
Heartache, pain and struggle,
Are parts of all of our lives.
If we only understood,
we (a collective 'we') ...
Are here to overcome our challenges.
And not be succumbed by them!
If we choose to win...
We must stay in it,
With an expectation we can identify
As a success achieved!
An acceptance of what 'is'...
Would keep us moving forward,
Seeking fun and happiness.
And committed to be accountable...
For all of our actions.
And being productive...
Regardless of the circumstances.
Or...
We can choose to remain seduced by fear and limitation!
If we let go and let God do His/Her or Its 'thing'
In our lives...
More wholesome ones we would live.
Without believing we have control.
And we do...
Hold onto those emotions.
To select and remove the bitter from the sweet!
For an incomplete experience!
And experiences should teach,
All those who have truthfully embraced a consciousness.
That delivers to us our observations.
We are here to do,
And not leave undone...
Any assignment God has given!
We can only offer our stubbornness,
To reminisce regrets.
Protecting us in shelters...
Of a falseness that introduces more sorrow.
And for those holding on like that...
Tomorrow never comes to enlighten!

There Is No God, the Wicked Sayeth
"There is no God," the wicked saith,
"And truly it's a blessing,
For what He might have done with us
It's better only guessing."
"There is no God," a youngster thinks,
"or really, if there may be,
He surely did not mean a man
Always to be a baby."
"There is no God, or if there is,"
The tradesman thinks, "'twere funny
If He should take it ill in me
To make a little money."
"Whether there be," the rich man says,
"It matters very little,
For I and mine, thank somebody,
Are not in want of victual."
Some others, also, to themselves,
Who scarce so much as doubt it,
Think there is none, when they are well,
And do not think about it.
But country folks who live beneath
The shadow of the steeple;
The parson and the parson's wife,
And mostly married people;
Youths green and happy in first love,
So thankful for illusion;
And men caught out in what the world
Calls guilt, in first confusion;
And almost everyone when age,
Disease, or sorrows strike him,
Inclines to think there is a God,
Or something very like Him.

Dermott Donn MacMorna
ONE day you'll come to my husband's door,
Dermoit Donn MacMorna,
One day you'll come to Hugh's dark door,
And the pain at my heart will be no more,
Dermott Donn MacMorna!
From his bed, from his fire I'll rise,
Dermott Donn MacMorna,
From the bed of Hugh, from his fire I'll rise,
With my laugh for the pious, the quiet, the wise,
Dermott Donn MacMorna!
Lonesome, lonesome, the house of Hugh,
Dermott Donn MacMorna,
No cradle rocks in the house of Hugh;
The list'ning fire has thought of you,
Dermott Donn MacMorna!
Out of this loneliness we'll go,
Dermott Donn MacMorna,
Together at last we two will go
Down a darkening road with a gleam below,
Ah, but the winds do bitter blow,
Dermott Donn MacMorna!

Some Folks Lives Roll Easy
Words & music by paul simon
Some folks lives roll easy as a breeze
Drifting through a summer night
Heading for a sunny day
But most folks lives, oh they stumble
Lord they fall
Through no fault of their own
Most folks never catch their stars
And here I am, lord
Im knocking at your place of business
I know I aint got no business here
But you said if I ever got so low
I was busted,
You could be trusted
Some folks lives roll easy
Some folks lives
Never roll at all
Oh, they just fall
They just fall
Some folks lives

1647
They were burned.
Long before the Salem ones.
In Hartford, Connecticut,
This was done.
It was told to everyone,
That they were evil.
And in 1647...
They were burned at the stake.
But their souls went to heaven.
And somehow this crime,
Has not lifted from those...
Who refuse to raise their unconscious minds.
And left behind the times,
Are those confined...
In beliefs a depiction of wickedness,
Sits within those who oppose
Such medieval controlling of thinking minds,
Still beset with religious practices...
And keeping themselves,
Enclosed in lost times.
Enforced to keep...
Themselves in divisions as all weep!
As this 'cloud' surrounds their growth,
And creeps!
Deep in the bosoms,
Of their restless ancestors.
NOTE:
Although it has never been proven that witches
were actually burned first in Hartford, prior to those
claimed to be so and burned in Salem, Massachusetts...
It has been revealed that this possibility did, in fact occur.
According to The Witchcraft Delusion in Colonial Connecticut
(1647-1697) as authored by John M. Taylor (John Metcalf) ,1845-1918.
And published by Project Gutenberg.
He states:
FOREWORD The true story of witchcraft in old Connecticut has never been told. It has been hidden in the ancient records and in manuscripts in private collections, and those most conversant with the facts have not made them known, for one reason or another. It is herein written from authoritative sources, and should prove of interest and value as a present-day interpretation of that strange delusion, which for a half century darkened the lives of the forefathers and foremothers of the colonial days. They Do Not Seek Publicity
There are those who give,
With such positivity!
And with just one purpose...
To encourage others.
They do not seek publicity,
For their good deeds.
Nor do they anticipate in waiting,
For those they assist to express appreciation.
They are here to give!
With the service to others,
They do so well.
And those blessings they receive.

Roll With The Punches
They say that people are livin in the street
No food in their belly, no shoes on their feet
Six black children livin in a burned-up room
One bare light bulb swinging
Little black kid come home from school
Put his key in the door
Mr. rats on the stairway, mr. junkies lyin in his
Own vomit on the floor
You gotta roll with the punches, little black boy
Thats what you got to do
You got to roll with the punches
Tap it baby
Theres all these boring people, you see em on the tv
And theyre making up all these boring stories
About how bad things have come to be
They say you got to, got to, got to feed the hungry
You got to, got to, got to heal the sick
I say we aint gotta do nothin for nobody
cause they wont work a lick, you know
They just gonna have to roll with the punches, yes they will
Gonna have to roll with them
They gonna have to roll with the punches, yes they will
It dont matter whether youre white, black or brown
You wont get nowhere putting down
The old red, white and blue
Tap it baby. alright. all right!
Look at those little shorts hes got on, ladies and
Gentlemen
You can see all the way to argentina
Get it
So pretty
Let em go to belgium, let em go to france
Let em go to russia
Well at least they ought to have the chance to go there
We have talked about the red, we have talked about the blue
Now we gonna talk about the white
Thats what were gonna do
Now we had to roll with the punches, yes we did
We had to roll with em
We had to roll with the punches
Yes we did
We had to roll with em
I dont care what you say
Youre livin in the greatest country in the world
When youre livin in the usa
Tap it baby, alright
All right

Sojourns in the Parallel World
We live our lives of human passions,
cruelties, dreams, concepts,
crimes and the exercise of virtue
in and beside a world devoid
of our preoccupations, free
from apprehension--though affected,
certainly, by our actions. A world
parallel to our own though overlapping.
We call it "Nature"; only reluctantly
admitting ourselves to be "Nature" too.
Whenever we lose track of our own obsessions,
our self-concerns, because we drift for a minute,
an hour even, of pure (almost pure)
response to that insouciant life:
cloud, bird, fox, the flow of light, the dancing
pilgrimage of water, vast stillness
of spellbound ephemerae on a lit windowpane,
animal voices, mineral hum, wind
conversing with rain, ocean with rock, stuttering
of fire to coal--then something tethered
in us, hobbled like a donkey on its patch
of gnawed grass and thistles, breaks free.
No one discovers
just where we've been, when we're caught up again
into our own sphere (where we must
return, indeed, to evolve our destinies)
--but we have changed, a little.

Reminding Me of My Blessings
Thank you for reminding me,
Of my blessings.
Thank you for stopping,
My flow of complaints.
And restraining me...
When they came to contain with anger,
I felt!
God is in my life.
There to make things right for me!
What more could I ask for?
When so many aren't sure...
With questions that confuse!
I have no barriars...
I can not without Him,
Remove!
Thank you for reminding me...
Of 'What' and 'Who' I have chosen,
To choose!
And allowing myself to become upset,
By 'things' I can refuse!

Drugged Up and Prescribed Medicated Existences Limited
If folks think I'm a homo?
I'm gonna give them that,
And something more than homo.
If they think of me as straight?
They will get that too,
On their dinner plate.
People finding slots to lock,
Names and tags on one another...
Have done themselves the injustice.
And grounded, they are, in cemented ignorance.
Trying to find themselves in religions,
Where those 'church' addicted commit most the sins.
Is a programming of the mind that's done.
To have those in need be controlled by someone.
And me,
My life will be loved.
Independently to breathe as it was given to me.
And if another human being wishes to hug me with love,
They will get that received.
Just how it was given to me.
But I do have my preferences.
If you get my drift!
So if folks think I'm a homo?
I'm gonna give them that,
And something more than homo.
If they think of me as straight?
They will get that too,
On their dinner plate.
I do not spend my time,
With folks seeking to find a hole
To bury their brains including their minds.
Is there anything else folks can do?
Than to entertain their empty lives,
With who screwing and doing 'who'.
This is all so immature and foolish.
I'm going to live my life as the gift it is.
And leave those who are self righteous about theirs,
To their own drugged up and prescribed medicated existences limited.
'I bet you can't say that five times fast? '
What? 'drugged up and prescribed medicated existences limited'?
You're right!
I had trouble saying it 'that' time and the first as slow as possible.
I am the author.
So...
I don't have to say it at all.
It's written and for that purpose intended.

There Is Too Much to Be Enjoyed
If my needs are not met
I have no regret leaving
These days have activated
My wishes and dreams
And it seems too many
Have delayed theirs...
To put their lives on hold.
Waiting to behold
Glorious retirements
Sitting in backyards
Within fences to reminisce.
That kind of laziness
Is not on my top 10.
Pretending we live those days...
Are not these days we live.
If my needs are not met
I have no regret leaving
To get them fulfilled.
Times have changed.
And so have I.
Listening to excuse makers...
Is not on my agenda.
There is too much to be enjoyed,
To be annoyed by 'show and tell' folks.

What Has Changed
The world as I saw it as a youth
changed slowly in my mind.
It was warm and kind and friendly,
everything I wished to find.
The warmth of the sun,
never feared.
The kindness of people,
to me endeared.
The friendliness of strangers,
volunteered.
All of this my eyes did see.
The world as I saw it in mid-life
changed quicker in my mind.
It was filled with doubt and sometimes grief,
not something I expected to find.
The insecurities of life,
to me all new.
The losses that occur,
to me so blue.
The threats to harmony,
to me, to you.
All of this my eyes did see.
The world as I see it in riper years
changes not one bit in my mind.
For I've learned through living every day
there is something I can find.
The peace of understanding
that things don't change.
The spirit of humanity
that can rearrange
the acceptance of reality
which is strange.
The illusion of falseness
which tries to derange
everything good that comes your way.
And when we live through our very last day
we find that the only thing that's changed
Are we.

The Colors Of The Life
We are not the same as we were at past
The years took away our happiness
We cant return back those innocent children with their wide smiles
There is nothing to do those years have gone
Like you've said my friend we cant change the destiny
We have to live in peace with ous destinies
The years took away our happiness
The purple dreams of us, faded away at once
We were like two strangers but some how we have met again
What could be the reason! It's just the destinies game
Both of us lonely, both of us painful
But we were strong enough to face the sharp storms of life
Dough we are trying to hide the tears of our hearts
But the life was unfair for the both of us
But never mind my friend I still have the faith
That we will find again the colors of the life.

God’s Trophies
I am but one trophy of God’s Grace, to be displayed in every place,
Each and every place, which I go, for His Matchless Grace to show.
God’s trophy for all eyes to see, what God’s Grace has done in me,
God’s trophy is my changed life, of what He’s done in Jesus Christ.
This world is God’s trophy case, filled with those changed by Grace,
Changed to live their lives for Him, the Savior, who died for their sin.
Other fallen sinners just like us, who in Christ have placed their trust,
Trusting in The Lord above, He saved and changed us by His blood.
We are set in place by God to shine, with a Love that’s purely divine,
With a glow that’s not from us, but from our Savior’s Righteousness.
And when we let our Shepherd lead, God brings others to their need,
Their own need of the Savior’s Light, to deliver them out of the night.
So that they shall be a trophy too, of God’s Grace, like me and you,
Another sinner that has a New Life, through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
One more, saved to be a vessel for, the Righteousness of The Lord,
With work by God prepared for us, who come to know Christ Jesus.
We were saved to one day rise, to our eternal home above the skies,
Saved by Grace on this earthly sod, to be new trophies for our God,
Together we can shine His Light, in a world where wrong seems right,
And then will see our Savior’s face, when in God’s eternal showcase.

Thats The Way
(annie roboff/holly lamar)
Everybody wants an easy ride
On the merry-go-round that we call life
Take your drive on cruise control
Then you wait to find out its a winding road
I had my dreams in view
When the money ran out and the engine blew
Hung my tears out to dry
Then my dreams fell out of that clear blue sky
And i, I was walkin the clouds
Feelin so safe and sound
Then somethin else knocks me down
Well, oh, thats the way it is
You gotta roll with the punches
Thats the way it goes
You gotta bend when the wind blows
You live you learn
You crash and burn
Its hit or miss
And thats the way it is
One fine day you wake up
Completely, hoplessly fallen in love
Hes just what youre lookin for
The only problem is, that the mans not sure
Another guyll give you everything
The only problem is you dont feel a thing
Well I know from expirence
Nothins ever gonna make perfect sense
Oh, one day you get what you want
But its not what you think
Then you get what you need
Well, oh, thats the way it is
You gotta roll with the punches
Thats the way it goes
You gotta bend when the wind blows
You live you learn
You crash and burn
Its hit or miss
And thats the way it is
Yeah they say your soul is growin
But sometimes I feel like throwin somethin
Well, oh, thats the way it is
You gotta roll with the punches
Thats the way it goes
You gotta bend when the wind blows
Well, thats the way it is
You gotta roll with the punches
Thats the way it goes
You gotta bend when the wind blows
You live you learn
You crash and burn
Its hit or miss
And thats the way it is
