Saboteurs

Saboteurs using methods to injure and defame,
While disguising themselves...
As if to prove they have no self worth,
Bring upon themselves the harm.
And open the door to their own shame AND dirt.

In the undoing of another as they in darkness seek,
They believe to others they are unknown.
But nothing on this Earth is kept from not surfacing,
Even from those depths,
Thought to be discreet and secretive AND hidden deep.

Seek Me Much Deeper People

You've got to seek Me,
Within yourselves...
Deep,
People.
Beneath that shallowness,
You wish to keep...
Hidden and discreet!

You've got to seek Me,
Much deeper...
People.
If you wish to receive,
A clarity that's reaped.
One I can give.
To fulfill your needs.

You've got to open wide those squinting eyes.
To enable Me to recognize...
Those proclaiming to have God inside,
Of them residing.

You've got to open wide,
Those half shut eyes.
With a removal of those layers,
Deceiving yourselves...
As if kept as a prize.
I am often surprised and bewildered 'Why'?

You've got to seek Me,
Much deeper...
People.
If you wish to receive,
A clarity that's reaped.
One I can give.
To fulfill your needs.

You've got to seek Me,
Within yourselves...
Deep,
People.
Beneath that shallowness,
You wish to keep...
Hidden and discreet!

You've got to,
Keep your faith and just believe.
With that God side residing inside.

Stay away from fantasies.
With a keeping of those eyes,
Fixed on Me!

Keep your faith and just believe.
With that God side residing inside.
With a keeping of those eyes,
Fixed on Me!
People.

You've got to seek Me,
Within yourselves...
Deep,
People.
Beneath that shallowness,
You wish to keep...
Hidden and discreet!

You've got to seek Me,
Much deeper...
People.
If you wish to receive,
A clarity that's reaped.
One I can give.
To fulfill your needs.

'Who is it that you seek and repeat those words? '

Him or Her...
The Omnipresent,
The All Knowing!
Who's blessings surround us,
With a showing.

'OH?
And what religion does He or Her,
Represent? '

Leave It Open

With my ego in my gut,
My babbling mouth would wash it up.
(but now Ive started learning how,)
I keep it shut.
My door was never locked,
Until one day a trigger come cocking.
(but now Ive started learning how,)
I keep it shut.
Wide eyes would clean and dust
Things that decay, things that rust.
(but now Ive started learning how,)
I keep em shut.
I keep em shut.
Harm is in us.
Harm is in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
Harm in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
(leave it open!)
Harm is in us, but power to arm.
Narrow mind would persecute it,
Die a little to get to it.
(but now Ive started learning how.)
I leave it open.
I kept it in a cage,
Watched it weeping, but I made it stay.
(but now Ive started learning how.)
I leave it open.
I leave it open.
Harm is in us.
Harm in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
Harm in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
(leave it open!)
Harm in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
Harm in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
(leave it open!)
Harm in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
Harm in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us.
Har in us, but power to arm.
Harm is in us!
Harm is in us!
Harm is in us!
Harm is in us!
Harm is in us!
Harm is in us--
Harm in you and in me!
What you letting in?
Tell me what youre letting in.
Say what were gonna let in!
We let the weirdness in.
We let the weirdness in.
We let the weirdness in.
We let the weirdness in.
We let the weirdness in.

Shell as cover

It would have been better known
Outside the world as pearl but hidden
Well below and so deep buried inside sea belt
Its presence still in infancy and not felt

Likewise little girl may not be noticed
Until she has come up with age and promised
Flowered with sweet words and proclaimed
Beloved, fiancée or by whatever it is named

Only jewelers can decide its price with precision
Girl's future is known only by somebody's decision
If she is picked in time with right person
She has every right to assert with several reasons

Who will know the real worth in course of time?
Some unknown man will throw pearl as stone sometimes
Females have highest power of tolerance compared to males
They utter no word of dissent even if left behind with worst tale

They are real gem behind male's success
It has been proved beyond doubt in all the cases
Yet they are made to suffer on many counts
So the judgment about their worth seems unsound

Who can bring them out on surface and prove?
That they are really worth and more than the brave
Besides having hidden talent and priceless tag
They are by no means behind anything or lag

The Cosmic Shaman...

I am the son of knowledge and wisdom,
I am son of the cosmic shaman,
My mystical soul begins it's eternal journey,
The journey to penetrate my inner self,
To journey the unknown darkness,
I seek the light to travel beyond imagination,
For I am surreal... Afraid to be real,
A desperate darkness living in pure light,
Blind and deaf seeking out the depths of my fear,
My eternal yearning screams evermore,
I am son of the Cosmic Shaman...
I seek answers... I seek rebirth... I seek eternity...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Small City Church

The door stood open and, not knowing why,
I left the clamour of the city street, ,
And sliped inside,
Cool silence came to greet me like a balm, as
Though it could edify my wrong.
But not the background of the passers-by.

And inside the little church show that
centuries of prayer defeat.
The constant onslaught of man's noise.
Not discreet.
Beside the prayer-books one could buy
A simple candle..
I wondered why.
Greatfully from my worn out satchel
The worldy sum did come.

From a deep unknown spot
A flame now began to trot
From inside me.
Left a dancing little flame to be.
Deep in a corner where the shadows played.
Pushes back the darkness which is a plague.
In fancy I inscribed it with my name.
A small acknowledgement from one who strayed...
In off the street.
To greet the next who looking for him to meet.

Petty Pushers

Dirt diggers in the midst.
With a maliciousness unresisted.
Whisper they drift to and fro.
Stirring up rumors wherever they go!

Petty pushers with time on their hands...
Destroying reputations to smear on command.
Enjoying degradation with sensational accusations!
In cloak and dagger masquerades.
Adorned in disguises as they charade.

Twisting truths and on the pursuit to defame.
To magnify indignities,
In a game to distort.
And bring those of goodwill to needless shame.
With good intentions they scatter about to abort!
To gain from the unconscious their support!

Petty pushers and peeping toms.
Gathering information to bring the innocent harm!
With ambitions to solicit filth.
And bilking those nonthinking...
With their brand of kindred minded,
Slickened sickened ilk!

'Are you sure this is the speech,
You wish to deliver to the community activists?
There are undertones of anger about it! '

You're right!
I'll change the line, '...and bilking those nonthinking! '
I wouldn't want to offend anyone!

A Promise to Keep This Secret

A promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

A promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

Why would somebody have an elicit affair?
With a promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
And do it while sneaking around,
In the clear open air?
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

A friend can be a friend to another,
Until the end.
But a friend can not be trusted,
When a cheating begins.

A promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

And a friend can't be expected to defend a friend.
When that friend is also 'friend',
To those who swap and cheat on spouses...
Of,
Other friends!
Oh.

A promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

A promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

When those swapping spouses sneak from houses,
Living just next door???
Keeping this a secret is a hard job.

When those swapping spouses sneak from houses...
Living just next door???
Keeping this discreet is just too hard.

A promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

A promise to keep this secret,
Is a hard job.
A promise to keep discreet,
Is just so hard.

The Death Of Richard Wagner

Mourning on earth, as when dark hours descend,
Wide-winged with plagues, from heaven; when hope and mirth
Wane, and no lips rebuke or reprehend
Mourning on earth.

The soul wherein her songs of death and birth,
Darkness and light, were wont to sound and blend,
Now silent, leaves the whole world less in worth.

Winds that make moan and triumph, skies that bend,
Thunders, and sound of tides in gulf and firth,
Spake through his spirit of speech, whose death should send
Mourning on earth.

The world's great heart, whence all things strange and rare
Take form and sound, that each inseparate part
May bear its burden in all tuned thoughts that share
The world's great heart -

The fountain forces, whence like steeds that start
Leap forth the powers of earth and fire and air,
Seas that revolve and rivers that depart -

Spake, and were turned to song: yea, all they were,
With all their works, found in his mastering art
Speech as of powers whose uttered word laid bare
The world's great heart.

From the depths of the sea, from the wellsprings of earth, from the wastes of the midmost night,
From the fountains of darkness and tempest and thunder, from heights where the soul would be,
The spell of the mage of music evoked their sense, as an unknown light
From the depths of the sea.

As a vision of heaven from the hollows of ocean, that none but a god might see,
Rose out of the silence of things unknown of a presence, a form, a might,
And we heard as a prophet that hears God's message against him, and may not flee.

Eye might not endure it, but ear and heart with a rapture of dark delight,
With a terror and wonder whose core was joy, and a passion of thought set free,
Felt inly the rising of doom divine as a sundawn risen to sight
From the depths of the sea.

Open Minds

Open your mind,
to things unknown,
search the universe
of your soul.

Open your mind,
to your heart
of feelings
buried deep within.

Open your mind
to your ear
of nature and
its beauty.

Open your mind
to knowledge
of things
unlearned yet.

Open your mind
to days gone
by of memories
vanished away.

Open your mind
to your feelings
hidden away
deep in your heart.

Open your mind
to my heart
to know how
i feel toward you.

Come In From The Night

How many times have I seen you running;
Just one step ahead of the past?
So many nights have I seen it coming;
I try to talk to you when you pass.
I dont know who you were before I met you;
You keep your secret safe with a mask.
Its almost as though the truth is out to get you;
Youre just a runaway from the past.
Girl, weve got a love worth keeping.
Maybe theres a way to let it go.
Someday when your demons are sleeping,
Let me know, let me know.
Come out of the darkness, baby,
Come in from the night.
You can let the light
Wash it from your mind.
Open the blinds.
So many times have I seen you crying,
Never knowing what its about.
I do my best, I just keep on trying
To find a way inside to let it out.
Girl, weve got a love worth making.
It would be a shame to close the show.
Now you got a chance worth taking,
Let me know, let me know.
Come out of the darkness, baby,
Come in from the night.
You can let the light
Wash it from your mind.
Come out of the darkness, baby,
Come in from the night.
Open up your life,
Leave the past behind.
Open up the blinds.

I Must See What I Feel First

On the tip of my tongue,
Sits the words, 'I Love You'.
But...
Somehow,
In the depths of my heart...
I seek to define,
An appropriate meaning...
To send to my head.
There are embers I wish to burn.
To keep a warmth inside me fed.

I've been here one too many times before.
And my mouth...
Like an unlocked door,
Welcomed in a stranger...
Maybe one or two.
But no more than three...
I thought I knew but didn't.
And my peace of mind,
I no longer wish to be kept hidden.

So much do I enjoy my blessed space.
And hopefully you will come to know it.
But I must see what I feel first,
To be a part of who you are.
That thirst...
With a constant appearance on your face.

Old Gate Off Its Hinge

Old gate off its hinge.
Matted like a lapwing in the long blond grass.
What is there to distract me from?
I pass, but not as a predator.
I seek the high field at the end
of this narrow dark road at dusk.
I’m out for stars. I’m out for solitude.
Like these deep cuts in the road
my scars have taken me out for a walk
in the gathering darkness,
nothing to keep in
nothing to let out.
The sumac denuded.
The last of the asters ruined.
There’s a farmhouse back here
abandoned years ago
like an old book in the basement
under the covers of its collapsing roof.
And the ghosts of two children
hidden deep in the woods
from the authorities,
autistic prodigies
who could fix anything mechanical,
clocks, watches, small engines
anything the neighbours brought them
but their own hearts and minds
and that’s how they lived for years,
with nothing but their own estrangement for company,
fixing things the neighbours broke.
A cage. But with the door open.
A road. But nowhere to go.
A house. But no one to shelter.
A mind. But no one to know it.
The chassis of a rusting car.
A bear.
I get caught in the glare
of my own mental headlights
wary of making more noise than I should.
And then my eyes
adjust my fear to the darkness again
and I’m not sure I should be here at all
unworthy of the silence,
unknown to the trees at the side of the road,
no clockwork universe
to bring these backwoods geniuses
that even they could fix.
A fox on the path. A startled bird.
The barking of a farmyard dog
way off in the low-key distance.
Stars in the ripening twilight.
A clearing with maple saplings to say
here nature picked up where it left off
and broken shards of moonlight
still clinging to the windowframes
as if it had to break through its own ice
to draw water from a stream.
Perseus holding Medusa’s head
above a barn drunker than it looks
swaying from side to side
gaping through its doorless loft in shock
at what is happening to it.
Aldebaran in Taurus, the Pleiades,
Castor, Pollux, Auriga and the kids,
an airliner leaving Ottawa without a sound,
and something that sweeps over me
like the shadow of a thought
with an owl for an eyelid.
So little harmony
so much tension among the stars
and their conflicting myths of origin
in the chaos and confusion of creation
and yet around here
in the stillness and profusion of their radiance
blessed and hexed alike
they all seem fixed.
Here where the unknown breathes
and eternity doesn’t seem
like anybody’s business but its own.

For Him I Know Not: Viii

i never really explored
the depths of this soul
that people talk so much of
but when your eyes first met mine
and the lashes moved on their own
in disbelief if it's all for real
that nth part of a wink
i knew what eternity is all about
in that eternity i dived
deep into those unknown depths

ever since
i've been waiting at those
invisible depths...

This door... (to the one who listened)

Take the deepest breath before
you open this immortal door:

here, you will first receive
what you think you want the most:

if it’s to enhance your self-image,
that will be arranged;

if you want to tell others
what it’s all about; even bully them;
there’s a place for you;

if you want to come along to prove
that you knew it all already,
fine.. come in; and later, go…

if you want to prove your life
to have been ruined by others and
it never was your fault –
that can be arranged;

or if you want to be just a little wiser;
or life to be a little easier;
you’ll love it here;

but this is the house to bless you with
two unsuspected further wishes:

when you have tasted
what you thought you wanted
you are of course, free to leave;

but if that which you thought you wanted
turns to ashes in your mouth,
you may wish – and whoosh! it’s gone;

and then there comes the third wish…:
so deep in you that only now
you knew it to have been always there;

here you will find yourself
to be yourself;

so stand here on the pavement; pause;
these are not wood, but golden doors.

Hidden In My Heart

Music by 10,000 maniacs - lyrics by mary ramsey & john lombardo
I see the leaves of autumn
Changing, falling , turning what was green
I see a door standing open,
Open to curiosity
We could be together
Tear it all apart
Would you ever notice
What was hidden in my heart
Heartstrong
Do we ever listen
Closely as willows start to weep
There as we stood upon the threshold
Who said forever was for keeps?
Would you ever notice what
Was hidden in my heart,
My deep heart is reeling forward
And steady on to keep,
Who made me miss the last ferry?
Who made this river so deep?

Patient Enough to Sit

I sit and wonder,
Why so many choose to move backward?
Why a determination to prove an ignorance is there.
And why,
Would a stagnation provide a cause for their celebration?
And elated in darkness as they chase Sun away.

I sit and wonder,
Why is there glory perceived in hidden self defeat?
Is it the activity that attracts one to constantly weep?
Is it a pride one denies when their weaknesses no longer hide.
Is it the fear of someone despised,
Wanting to clear their path of debris...
To enable them to walk freely outside and,
Be!
With a clarity to 'see' no enemies stalking to wish them ill!

I sit and wonder,
And sometimes I deep breathe to be very still.
Absorbing the peace that comes.
Being available,
Without a single thought as to who might bring me harm.
As I sit in such peacefulness wondering why I feel unique.
And blessed to be patient enough to sit quietly and receive.

I am not unique.
I am not that self indulgent,
To carry around thoughts like within me.
I may be more determined to leave behind,
THAT which brings me sorrow.
Because...
I aint into it!

Nor will I allow myself to borrow agony.
From whiners who dine on it.
I choose not to be weak.
And that alone can be a painful experience,
I know!

I am glad I awakened.
And did not fall back to sleep.
I refuse to be fed from confusing heads.
Those that choose to feed themselves on morbid deeds.
I choose not to be weak!
Because...
I aint into it!

distorted and disfiguring
oh, oh

my wasp in a jar
no photographs around the back
emaciated, iron flat
oh, oh

Treasure In Heaven

We spend and splurge all the day, while allowing our soul to stray,
Attracted to what pleases the eye, while we allow our soul to die.
Enticed by what the eye can see, with no thought towards eternity.
We spend effort and much time, securing what we claim as mine.

How much can you truly secure and keep with you forevermore?
Even those dear to your heart, will one day from this life depart.
Nothing of this world shall be, embraced in Heaven through Eternity.
The former things will be no more, after you enter Eternity’s Door.

Don’t store treasure here on earth, for in the end it’s of little worth.
Here moths destroy and rust corrode, not so in your heavenly abode.
Store treasure in Heaven friend, where an Eternity you will spend.
Where your treasure is, you’ll see, there your heart shall also be.

Christ came to this earth to fulfill, not His own, but His Father’s will.
As a servant, The Lord Jesus Christ laid His life down as a sacrifice.
Pick up your cross and follow Christ, as He’s already paid the price.
My friend if you will deny yourself, you shall have Eternal wealth.

Seek The Kingdom of God first and you will have an Eternal purse.
So seek the Righteousness of The Lord and He will open up a door,
For you to serve The Risen Christ, here on earth as a living sacrifice.
Then your treasure will endure, in Heaven with Christ forevermore.
